Etheruem or Ripple?

I would go for etheruem any day.
Etheruem is more popular than ripple and so wouldn't be bad business holding it for long

Both of these coins are very popular (Ethereum is in the second rank and Ripple is the third rank). So for a long term investment according to my analysis is very good. All coins are centered on Bitcoin while these coins each year continue to increase. So all the altcoins have a good chance to keep going up.

For long-term investments, ETH and XRP have a good future. But I prefer ETH for a long-term investment. Until now ETH is still the best platform for the ICO. So if you are interested in investing in an ICO company, you can use ETH.

Ripple is not decentralized, I would never go for Ripple even sacrificing potential high gains. I prefer certainly Ethereum

ETH is a good coin but the XRP is also the good coin and i hope that this time XRP will touch the minimum almost 20$ minimum this time.

Both have differences in terms of community. Ripple is more supported and backed up by banks while ethereum has more projects generating tokens using the ethereum platform. Both are very good if you use it for investment

A few Cryptocurrencies are actively striving to replace Ethereum as the smart-contract platform leader or share the market.However, the current market cap of Ether is $18 720 095 260,  which is 2 times larger than XRP, the closest competitor.I choose ETH.

In my opinion, i think that Ethereum is ahead of Ripple in deverse ways. Ethereum has great potential and it host several projects ( that is, ERC 20 token) that has made it very popular in the crypto economy. Ripple is alsp good prpject but many consider xrp as a centralized coin.

I will probably put my 80℅ to invest Ethereum
The remaining 20% is ripple.

Ethereum is still temporarily inferior to ripple in some functional qualities as a means of payment, however, in all other respects it is much superior to this coin. It will be interesting to compare these coins with each other after introducing the expected Ethereum 2.0 improvements into ethereum.
In general, these two coins are good, but they perform various functions, and ethereum is more in demand due to its smart contracts.

Both are good options, so I think it is better to hold both. Ethereum and Ripple are the top 5 coins in CMC, I think they are undoubted for short or long term assets. However, I prefer to have Ethereum as the second main asset in altcoins. While Bitcoin is my first main asset in crypto as a whole.

Both of these coins are in the top ranks of Coinmarketcap, and to be honest many people hate Ripple and everyone has their individual reasons for doing so. I myself also chose Ethereum over Ripple, the reason is clear Ethereum has a better future than Ripple. Ethereum is more widely used by many people, Ethereum also has better technology.

ethereum is decentralized while ripple is centralized. talking about money. ripple will always be the leading option but when you talk about products and developments, ethereum will take the lead. i will always prefer ethereum more than ripple because it has a long term plan more than ripple.

Let us respect other opinion. For you Ethereum is better than ripple but probably ripple is much better for others. There are different form and system between the two coin and each coin is worthy to invest as what every investor choice.
