Save assets by holding them

I also believe in holding because it is no use to sell in bearish market until and unless you need urgent money because when bull run start we will see good movement in our assets so keep holding it if you can.

Think of it like this... you are not investing for short term gains. this is risky and involves too much time and the stress of market volatility over time will make you go bald in your 20s. Think of it like you are making these investments for your kids and learn new skills in the meantime that will help crypto in general reach mass adoption. If you invest 1,000 USD in 10 projects and only 2 of them succeed in 10-15 years as BTC did the returns will be greater than what you lost. Imagine what will come when you look at it when you are in ready to retire. You will be old, wealthy and stress free living your best life. The day traders will have made 1000% if they are lucky vs you who will make upwards of 10,000%. We cant win if we are thinking day by day too many ups and downs.

How can anyone sell in a market like this? It is accumulation time my friends. Until mass adoption goes in effect BUY BUY BUY. We are blessed to be in crypto this early on. I hope to see you all in 50 years buying homes on the moon.

Hodling is just easy to say. But very risky in reality the coin/token must be good and has a foundation of true usecase and utilization in order to survive the cryptocurrency market hostile environment so literally saving assets and holding them is not for everyone.

because there are so many holders that aren't strong and eventually sell them in the middle of the road.

Hodling is truly rewarding especially for those good coins and tokens that perform well and have a real use in
the crypto industry. A person that plans to hodl a coin for a longer period of time should make some strategies
like when or what price he/she should sell his/her assets and many more.

It Is Right Thinking i think.  If We hold Our Assets then we will benefited today or Tomorrow. But we do justify what coin good and what coin are bad then hold otherwise not. Then we save assets by holding.

To hodl is not a bad idea but it will become a bad idea when you are holding unto a coin that you are not sure of what will become it future, we need to make necessary research before holding a coin so that we will not regret in the future. There are many coins that are not worth holding because they don't have anything to contribute ti the word at large.

I agree with you that's why we must do analysis fundamental of cryptocurrencies before making investment in them and holding them for long term, it is different with trading alternatives coins we must do analysis technical of the cryptocurrencies it is related with the candle to find the trend of price. So we must choose which one the strategy before making investment in cryptocurrencies to be holder (investors) or the trader (alternatives coins) the people must know first about it before making investment in the cryptocurrencies.

Holding is the best strategy when market is staying bearish position. If you fear and sell at dumping price, you will sure regret in the next time. So holding assets or token in the bearish market will pull the market to the bull position and your token or asset value will increase ultimately.

This will happened slowly and yeah totally agree. Holding in a bear market give us the position to do great for bull run. Cause if all traders will hold and hoard their coins the tendency is to have a huge demand and price can be increase ten fold in an instant. I hope everyone united and try to hodl everything theyve got for at leadt 6months. Imagine the impact of it. Does we really in dire need of money that bad?

many do the same thing to protect assets when the market is bad.  by holding on and looking back at coins that have the potential to increase in the future.  it applies if you are a crypto enthusiast and believe crypto will be better in the future.  depending on what you think, do you have a strategy to recover your assets by waiting at a lower price.

In the market that we see now and with the manipulations that occur - all our strategies fail miserably.
None of the altcoins does not have independence.Only a few can move against the broad market... and for a short time.
You need to see market trends in advance to be able to earn.

For the top coins, I will hold them and never think to sell in bearish. As top coins are proven to always survive for years, it won't be any problems for holding them a long time. But for new coins, I will decide to cutt-lose or sell directly even if I just get small profits. Or even get losses, I will decide to sell if I think the coins seem to be dead coins.

saving assets is the best if you wanna profits, but let say you are in bad situation and you need money to solve your problems, you don't have any option than to sell it at that market condition. some traders do panic and sold their assets at loss and later they are regereting of doing so.

I personally dont agree with hold the crypto currency for long term. I prefer do day trading with potential coin, like ripple, NEO, EOS etc. It is more profitable than hold.

I think it depends on what crypto you wanna hold. I've in a forum (not this forum) since 2008, and those people who bought Bitcoin while its value still low and held it in their wallet until 2017 became millionaires, and you can google it.

For those who still holding Bitcoin, my advice is for you not to brag it, more so the quantity you're holding because Bitcoin still remains a popular target for criminals.
