I think you cannot use holding for all coins you have. I think it is better to hold and also trade your coins. You must set the number of your assets for holding and some for trading. If you can do daily trading, it is much better.

Long term strategy can be profitable but that does not means long term strategy is always profitable. You need to know when is the best time to enter and exit the market.

It all depends on the type of coin you holding for long time, not all coins or token have the potentials of giving a good ROI..But the best thing to do is to make good research about a well defined project and leave it for moon.

Historically the best investment strategy was to buy a diversified portfolio of assets and wait.
But crypto is not really diversified yet, all tokens increase or decrease in price by following the BTC price.
And if crypto would be a "normal" asset you would have to wait a long time to get back to 20.000$.

I believe you should DCA with Bitcoing and pick some lucky guesses in other tokens. Then forget about them.

Holding is only one of many ways to get good return. You shouldn't think that holding is the only way, you can trade your assets if you can do that. Daily trading, weekly trading, or other things are also good ways to do. You have to know many ways to get good return.
