There are many factors that can or contribute why so many people quite bounty hunting it's so devastating when you as a person spend so much time and energy doing bounty for weeks, months posting on social media promoting a project end of the day you're not been paid is annoying that's why you hardly see much people participate in some crypto bounty campaign.

Yup i agree on you, many people quit bounty because the project failed to achieve what they really want. and all of the hardship of the hunter will just go to waste, they spend many hours doing different task to support the campaign so they can get their stake but at the end the project and the team will suddenly disappeared.

I'm a new bounty hunter. I have participated in a campaign, that ended on 30 of April. The coins are not distributed yet. I will keep on for a while, but if the tokens are not distributed, then, why should I participate?

Recently, not only people with less experiences, experienced bounty hunters also begin to quit from bounty activities. I know very well the big reasons why they quit. That's why I think they cannot be blamed by the action. Let's see below the reasons. 

Here are the most reasons:

1. A lot of bounty programs only resulted with pennies.
2. Many scam ICOs, resulting no rewards for bounty hunters.
3. Many bounty managers / teams of bounty projects changed the rules after bounties were over. They asked for KYC and lessen the bounty allocation significantly.
4. Bounty tokens/coins have no prices once listed on exchanges.
5. Bear market still continues and no big signs to have bullrun in the near future.
 
I also consider and think deeply about those problems, but I am still confidence to work on bounty programs as long as there is a hope for a better crypto future.

You're right mate, I already had many token that I earned from my previous bounty campaign, but unfortunately its till no value at all, its been a year ago, since I received these token, maybe the team dev. wait for the market to have a good condition. And now I cane back to participate again in bounty. I really trust this bounty manager and I'm sure I will receive my bounty rewards soon, And I hope this projects will have a good future too that will put in giid exchanges soon.

I do agree to some of your given reasons, Actually I've encountered those kind of projects and managers. There's also before I forgot the name from other forum, I already done the bounty and we're waiting for the distribution then suddenly some people got their tokens and some of us didn't know why we didn't receive it even we asked their team.

The most important reason someone stops from Bounty is because they don't get results.  Because most people participating in the Bounty campaign are to get money, whatever conditions are needed to make money will definitely be done, but if you don't make money for what you are tired of working on, it is better to stop and rest.  But there are still some people who persist, even though most of them fail, with the hope that someday they can get a lot of money.

all the points you listed are right and you failed to mention the time wasted hunting and campaigning for all these project to get pennies at the end of the whole process. it is quite unfortunate that bounties is getting to its last days if not properly managed. i stand for regulation in the cryptocurrency.

How can be something that is given for your work called a gift? It is an award, and this award is not so good to go on with Bounties - this is the reason why many people quit working with these projects.
