Before now bounties give hunters good profit for their labours  but this days most bounties are worthless, no profit at all. Am I correct in this assumption?

I must say that this is very true as most of the projects out there didnt succeed in their ICO and most turns out to be scam. But there are still projects succeed and will give you good profit, we just need patience for now.

Most of the bounties today are worthless but your figure (98%) is too huge to approximate those bounties. Anyway, the problem is not with the bounties but the main projects hosting the bounties. Most of the projects hitting the market today are facing many challenges especially with their token sales due to the long bear market. It takes extensive work from the marketing team of the project in order to create more awareness for the project. Also, investors of today are more interested in the product of the project - the project must have a working product which is highly demanded because most of them are fed up with projects which takes long time to develop their product after ICO.

98% is too much, brother. I think it is not normal and we need something to get the solution. In this case, I assume ICO needs a regulation to minimize the number of scams and low-quality projects. Then, if we have trusted and quality projects, I think most of the bounties will be worth.
