You really have to get into technical analysis if you have to trade seriously. I agree with long term investment is just as or more dangerous than short term due to price volatility.
Holding coins/tokens are somehow risky but you have to be in the right opportunity to be succesful with it goodluck mate

Short term investment is good for day traders that has a full understanding of how the market moves and when/when not to buy/sell. Long term trade in another good but dangerous form of investment. The long term investment is not for people of greedy nature, so as not to loss your capital at the end. In conclusion, either of the investment methods should be taken in preference of the investor.

I do not quite understand the word "long-term investment" for trading on the stock exchange. If you plan to make a profit in a month or more, why bring a coin to the exchange? Keep the coin just in your wallet  .If you trade, this is in any case a short investment. And a long investment will turn out by itself when you incorrectly buy a coin.

Participating in ICOs has big potential to gain profits. But it also has risks to get nothing since there are many ICOs failed or ended with scam cases. The best way is to have deep research before deciding to join/participate. It should minimize to participate in scams or failed projects.

Yes, preferably long term is one of the good things to apply. Now the question what coin do we think that is good for the long term anyway? And one of the good references too on which is better to use is coinmarketcap or crypto market if I
am not mistaken.
