In the past I looked only at project idea but in these days:
1) first I take a quick look at whitepaper
2) then I make a quick check of team in linkedin
3) then I look at who is bounty manager. 
The point n.3 is very important because it's months that I choose only campaigns that are manager by well known bounty managers

it seem to me most times that despite how thorough a hunter is in confirming the legitimacy of a bounty projects, most still fall victims of scam projects and their crooked managers.
