should I invest in ICO or altcoins?

Personally, I prefer to invest in existing altcoins. The current ICO bring little money when investing, even in the early stages of presales.

If you are a risk taker, you can still invest in ICO, after the huge crash that happened in 2018 the market started to pick up . I've seen a great project again this year, and ICO is less and they are not in a hurry to launch their project funding.

If you want to invest in ICO then you have to choose ICO which is really good, because now there are many ICOs that fail.  If I myself prefer to invest in Altcoin only.  Select Altcoin that is already listed on the market, and choose Altcoin that has high potential.  Maybe it's a better way than investing in the ICO.

If you want to be safe, investing in altcoins will be worthier because it will have more value and volume as on the market. However, if you want to make long term investment, choose ICO with high analysis.

if in my opinion you should not be afraid and hesitant to invest both, because now the development of market prices and the growth of ICO projects are also good in 2019.
so for me you can also buy it at the ICO project and at the altcoin market, for me it's also good to get profits in some time by holding a higher price

If you can find a good project with a great team, great tokenomics and release schedule, then go for it. However, in 2017-18 projects easily collected 20+ million dollars, but now they cannot even fill 5m hardcap. So do not expect good returns now. But as market recovers, ICOs will be back and we'll start making 3x-5x returns in short term.

Also, I wouldn't wait in altcoins because BTC is dominating all of them. But If you're willing to wait a long time (till 2021), you can buy and hodl of course.

Many project these days isn't profitable, maybe prefer investments on different altcoins that you think having a potential within the future. Finance on ICO now is more like having a suicide. That is case to case basis if it'll achieve success or not however the important is you actually knew what you are dealing with.

If you look at what has passed recently, many ICO projects have failed.  In fact, there are many investors who lose because what they invest in costs are destroyed when entering the market.  For this reason, if I think it would be better if we invest in altcoins that are already in the market than we invest in the ICO project.  And maybe the investment in Altcoin will minimize the losses we will experience a little.

It was really one of the hardest decision. I mean it will going to depend on the project because sometimes both of it are really promising but the only problem on ICO's is most of the time the price got dump from the sale price that's why in just start we already got a loss and sometimes it can't move anymore because of that big dump.

For now I am not interested in investing in the ICO, because too many ICO projects fail and even the SCAM makes me hesitate to invest my money in the ICO project.  And maybe buying Altcoin on the market and holding it for a long time might give us the opportunity to get high profits from investing in the ICO project.

Investing in ICOs are very risky but can bring much more profit than investing to existing altcoins.
