The TRON block chain Protocol (TRX) has passed the threshold of a million user accounts, while project managers continue to criticize Ethereum's competitor (ETH).

Tron blockchain statistics uploaded to social networks by Misha Lederman, one of the founders of the cryptocurrency side project IAmDecentralized.org, confirmed that the network now has more than a million addresses. TRON, which launched its network earlier this year, aims to become an ecosystem for developers seeking to create decentralized applications (DApps).
The network, known for its public reproaches of Ethereum, which is a major competitor to TRON, CEO Justin San this week predicted a "slow explosion" of the altcoin price. Commenting on the number of addresses, Lederman suggested that the rate of increase in activity in TRON is also significantly higher than that of ETH, he writes:
For comparison (Ethereum) January 22 reached 1 million accounts for 542 days or 18 months since the launch of the main network.
Commentators who wrote responses to Sana's tweet, however, highlight the fact that Ethereum created its user base when interest in cryptocurrency was negligible compared to current conditions. Other Twitter users added that, despite the growth, the price of TRX at 0.02 dollars faded compared to the movement of the pair ETH/USD, which even after a 90-percent decline from a record high level retained a value of about 73 dollars.
This week, TRX showed strong growth before the correction in the cryptocurrency markets led to the token losing 15 percent in 24 hours. At the same time, ETH fell by 12.6% during this period.
