What Do You Think of the Adopted of Blockchain in Map Area?

It is very difficult to imagine what exactly the blockchain will provide in this sphere and what it will be useful for people.

Think big man! A fully decentralized map empowered by blockchain technology, isn't it cool? It combines the advantages of centralized map like Google Map and open street map. Everyone can be a mapper who use their spare time to make map and get paid from it. The maintenance will cost less than  Google Map and the map can be more accurate than open street map. People will benefit from being a mapper. It will be cool.

Personally, I think that there is no way to link the work of these two areas. The data distribution registry can affect many areas, but you should not add it everywhere.

It may be a good ideas. So far, I think that the blcokchain technology has been not adopted for the map area (correct me if there any). But, how can it be? if there is a way, can it really work? Who knows. Blcokchain is a very interesting and advanced technology system.

The blockchain technology can be used in all aspect of our life including mapping areas. GPS verifies our location but I believe the blockchain technology can replace GPS with a map that can do more
