Ethereum and Bitcoin both are suitable for hold either short term or longterm. At present i think, holding ETH is more profitable in my prediction. I am trading on both pair for getting benefits on both holding. My top 2 coins are Bitcoin and ETH. So, i will hold both for short term and long term.

Obviously BTC. Because you see others coins price make up and down depends on BTC price. So as a unique coin you should follow on BTC. On the other hand BTC price jumping is very high that did not in others coin. So my best suggestion is BTC.
