Long term planning is the way to go without a doubt. If you could put aside even a small portion of your salary into bitcoin every month for 20 years, can you imagine how rich you will be? Nobody wants to wait 20 years to be wealthy but that is the most guaranteed way to make money. Obviously a lot of people will hate it, because they are too inpatient and that means they are going to sell beforehand, or try to get rich overnight with some x100 shitcoin that they risk. Just do what most people did to get rich and retire happy, invest into something way beforehand, and you will do fine on the long run.

USDT Forum / Re: USDT transaction fees on various networks
« Last post by EnergyFather on Today at 12:22:39 AM »
Honestly, first time hearing about USDT on Liquid. Sounds cool, but can you please provide some metrics?
Can't you read the links I already posted above for more information about that?  ::)

The links you provided may be informative for you, because you are familiar with the Liquid network well, but it may be it's not so easy to find relative information for someone who is not. I attempted to find USDT transactions using the linked site but it does not seem to be easy.

I created this thread on fee comparisons across different networks for easy reference and comparison. It would be convenient for people to see numbers right in this thread, without having to spend time trying to figure out links. It would be very nice of you if you posted the numbers here.

Not all centralized exchanges support L-USDT, but there are enough decentralized services and exchanges (Peach Bitcoin, Aqua wallet...) doing that.
Some centralized exchanges are part of Liquid Federation so they should support it, like Bitfinex, Huobi, BTSE and others.

I'm asking questions not to stir up controversy, but to understand its current adoption and practical use cases.

From what I can understand, L-USDT is gaining traction but isn't widely supported yet on centralized exchanges. For instance, USDT on Tron or Ethereum is widely accepted across various services for payments. And Liquid looks promising in the long run, but at the moment, practical applications seem somewhat limited.

In the part about censorship resistance, he drops this gem:

Maybe in a few years, we will come to the conclusion that we should separate money from the state for the same reason we separated the church from the state
This is also what Satoshi wanted when he created BTC: a currency that is not dependent on any individual or organization. However, this is quite difficult to achieve for many reasons, and at present we do not see BTC becoming a currency, it is still considered a commodity, asset or investment related to technology.

I use it a lot as a currency.

As payment for campaigns. As a webdev I receive payments in btc many times.
Some years ago I wrote in a news website which paid me in btc as well. I think it works very well as a currency.

Maybe not so good to buy a coffee, but it is a currency.

It's going to be an intensive week for Leverkusen: the last league game on Sat 18th, Europa League final on Wed 22nd and the DFB Pokal final on Sat 25th to finish the season off.
They could rest the key players in the league game but there's a risk attached to that. If Leverkusen were to lose to Augsburg and end their games without loss run, that could crush the team spirit just before the EL final.

Atalanta is in a bit tougher spot when it comes to resting time. They play the Copa Italia final against Juventus and then an away league game against Lecce on Saturday. And their 5th place in the league is still not secured, so they have to approach it seriously.

Hey mates, good day..

Crypto messaging apps are a new thing in the digital world. They're trying to combine the best of messaging apps like Telegram with the features of cryptocurrency wallets and DeFi tools. They promise to make it easy to manage your digital assets and make cryptocurrency transactions. Some people might find them interesting if they're into DeFi and cryptocurrency trading.

What do you think about crypto messaging apps? Can they really change the way we use digital assets, or are just there..
When you say they try to combine the best of messaging apps like telegram... I am moved to ask you what you think telegram is? Isn't telegram also a crypto messaging app? Oh, I get it, Telegram used to be a normal messaging app, but things began to change with them recently.
Telegram owns Ton blockchain and soon enough, the entire Ton ecosystem will be integrated on telegram, there is already an inbuilt crypto wallet on the telegram app.

So, now tell me, what other crypto messaging app are you talking about? Will that one be bigger than telegram with over 900 million users?

First and foremost, I believe that this bull market will likely be the final massive one in the crypto. At this point, I think you will agree with me that regulation is almost unavoidable.

Crypto will endure, but returns are expected to decline significantly as we encounter future bull markets.

The sad reality is, despite this hyper-growth we're about to experiemce this term, many will still struggle to profit. Do your best to not be one of such people and may the force be with you.
+1 karma for sharing exactly the same opinion with me, I have created a topic on this forum in time past which almost is exactly the same as yours, the truth is, many actually don't know the times we are in, previous experiences have made them believe that the bull run that comes in every 4 years cycle is something that will continue forever, they forget that it's often said that nothing lasts forever, and whatever has a beginning, definitely will have an end.

Once the majority of the bitcoins in circulation enters the hands of the Asset managers, bitcoin and the entire crypto market will become just as normal as the forex market, stock market, gold market and the rest, and, yeah, this will happen sooner than any of us think, and this coming bull run may be the very last for anyone wanting to make significant gains from crypto to do so.

As expected, Arsenal won against Manchester United by a goal, which was scored by Trossard in the early 20 minutes of the match.

Manchester United had the possession of the match than Arsenal(54/46%), which they failed to utilize by drawing the match rather than losing 3 points, which could have given the hope to reach the sixth or seventh spots if Newcastle or Chelsea lost any of their two remaining matches. However, Manchester United lost to Arsenal today, can't longer give Manchester United hope of staying above the eighth spot they are currently at. It's unfortunate, they have a terrible season this time around after they thought they could reach the top spot like the previous season.
Man United's defeat in that match was not that surprising. Because Arsenal are at a different level this season. And it is natural that Arsenal can win this match. But my hope in this match is that both teams score goals. And I was wrong. Because it turned out that Arsenal was the only one who scored the only goal in that match. With this victory, Arsenal can continue to compete for the title and hope that Man City loses in one of the remaining matches.
It's one match remaining to wrap up the Premier League season for Arsenal, and two matches for Manchester City. Arsenal fans will be praying for Manchester City to draw or lose any of their remaining matches so that the Arsenal team lifts the Premier League trophy this time around so that their joy will be complete after having the best-performing season. However, their joy can be fulfilled if "Manchester City draws to Tottenham'', I doubt that because Manchester City will play with their might not to draw at the end of the season when they need winning of matches than ever

Tomorrow is the day the Premier League title will pretty much be decided. If Man City wins against Tottenham in London, they'd almost certainly win the league, but if there's a draw or if Tottenham wins, Arsenal would likely be crowned the champions.
Simply, apart from tomorrow's game, both Man City and Arsenal have only relatively easy games at home, against West Ham and Everton respectively, none of whom have any strong motivation to win.

Odds for tomorrow are:
Tottenham: x7.20
Draw: x5.70
Man City: 1.38

Odds for winning the league:
Man City: 1.36
Arsenal: 3.20

Did telegram really changed anything in the cryptocurrency space?
Of course Yes, telegram was solely built as a communication app used for messaging and connecting people around the globe through specify username or channels and cryptocurrency group where people share thoughts and ideas in a single community. With time they has to integrate and adopts cryptocurrency where they had to build their coin and adding wallet to their app.
