Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays everyone!!!
There is a little bit of a good situation going on with BCH right now...
I think paypal removed xrp from their list of cryptos

62
I would say BCH should go to $500 at a minimum
Not sure what happens after that tho. We never broke $500 before, so it either corrects or consolidates or moons. lol
it'll prob depend on if we are truly entering alt season and what bitcoin price does
I'm going to make a wild prediction.

Bitcoin Cash Forum / Re: Bitcoin cash or dash
« on: December 16, 2020, 09:53:11 PM »
Bitcoin Cash will shine when people want to use cryptocurrency instead of just holding
When that will be, who knows.
you still may get some big pumps from people diversifying or big players also noticing the potential.

Bitcoin Cash Forum / Re: Is BCH worth investing?

THE TIME HAS COME
WE MUST ROAM THE INTERNETS
SPREADING THE GOODNESS OF BITCOIN CASH, THE REAL BITCOIN
PEOPLE ONBOARDING TO BITCOIN ARE DISSATISFIED WITH SLOW TXs AND HIGH FEES, BITCOIN CASH FIXES THIS!
SPREAD THE WORD
that is all  ;)

Looks like this has something to do with Coinbase Exchange, right?
Because I saw in this thread about Bitcoincash which refers to the 8% tax that Coinbase states.

It looks like this must be straightened out immediately because if this happens then it is also good for Bitcoin Cash but if it is wrong there may not be a new coin creator, namely Bitcoin Cash Node (BCHN).

No, The Coinbase rule is something in the code of almost all cryptos which tell us what are the fees, coins per block, and more, the coinbase exchange just used the same name.

66
We need Bitcoin ETF
Then later we will see an Ethereum and Bitcoin Cash ETF
Then people will finally see Bitcoin is slow and unreliable. Then BCH moons
... profit
For now, we have noob institutional investors and moon boys talking about digital gold

DeFi tokens / Re: Bitcoin vs YFI
« on: December 05, 2020, 04:38:17 PM »
we can't even compare, bitcoin is the king, yfi is just a token with a small supply and some liquidity blocked, even with high prices these tokens can't even reach the top 10 on the crypto market. ETH is even better than YFI.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Is cryptocurrency changing the world?
« on: December 05, 2020, 04:36:24 PM »
Of course, it is, just takes a look at how things are changing, forums, payments, and more, today I work and receive in crypto, this is something that not even exists 10 years ago, there is a lot of things that crypto is changing.

Voting / Re: LINK or ADA
« on: December 05, 2020, 04:33:31 PM »
I do prefer Ada, but those coins are really great, the best option is to split between both, diversification is really good in this crypto world, why choose only one? if they are good, go grab both.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Do you think Bitcoin will surpass fiat money?
« on: December 05, 2020, 04:31:47 PM »
Not bitcoin I think, Bitcoin has a lot of issues to be used as everyday money, cryptocurrencies like BCH works better for this purpose, BTC can be used yes, but no to pay for a coffee, a donut, or something cheap like that.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Do not borrow money to invest in crypto
« on: December 05, 2020, 04:30:10 PM »
Do not borrow money to make any kind of investment, it's really a risk, you have a deadline to pay it back, if the market goes down you will no do anything, and worst, you lose money and will get a debt.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Bitcoin As Long Term Investment?
« on: December 05, 2020, 04:25:36 PM »
One thing is one thing, another is another, I say madness in the sense of 1m is the same as a whole universe to be analyzed, you are looking at the mosquito poop
But in trade I have conviction that you can live on that lol

74
but also with that much BTC being purchased
it's like consumers just dont care
BCH that is sold is just eaten up by these institutions
so if anything they're keeping the price afloat, in the short term

Suggestion Box / Re: Bitcoin Cash ABC sub-section
« on: December 04, 2020, 05:12:17 PM »
~
I don't think BCHABC needs a child board here under BCH, the coin doesn't even list on CMC or coinpaprika despite trading and existing.
Coinmarketcap has it already.
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin-cash-abc-2/markets/

Coingecko, which I think is more reliable than Coinmarketcap or Coinpaprika, has it too.
https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/bitcoin-cash-abc#markets

Fair enough, must have been searching wrong. ShadowCrypto is mod of that section, so will PM to see what he thinks.

Hello guys, I'm directly in touch with the BCH community, I've even made live speeches and meetups here in my country, so let me give my opinion(and the community about it)
BCHA doesn't need a new section. The BCH community was disapproving this fork, likely 95% of the users and miner of BCH was against that, BCHA is being attacked, the transaction takes up to 1 week to get confirmation, I don't think we need a new section just for that(for now). let people discuss it on the existing BCH board.
the history behind BCHA is that devs of BCH ABC(one of the devs of the fork of btc to bch) wants to apply a dev fee of up to 8% on the new blocks, they claim they need it for development, but this was totally inaccurate, the BCH community funded a lot of development initiatives, without dev fund.
