Personally I like Dropil's DROP token. The prices have been crazy this year but I've earned 5 to 8% return a month with their automatic trading bots, so I've came out ahead. And right now their token is below ICO price so I bought some more with this crash today.

For now , I think ripple.is the safest and most reliable altcoin. It is bank coin and more stable. It is good for short term.

I think all the coins in the cryptocurrency are not safe. Everything has risks, but maybe the altcoins that have been registered in Coinmarketcap are safer than the new coins that appear, or you can choose the coins in the top 10 in Coinmarketcap.

For me its Ripple, very affordable and very fast in transaction, just hold it and wait to bear in the market, this coin was so promising, buy in a bulk now!

if the altcoin I think the good is the long-term fixed Ethereum investment. because in my opinion Etereum has a good market. and Ethereum also has good prospects from year to year. so I think instead of risking buying new coins, it seems better to buy coins that have proven their quality.
