In France, i don't see shop using bitcoin to buy something.
But recently, i saw a lawyer accepting bitcoin payment.

I don't think Bitcoin is the best crypto to become a payment solution, its low supply is a handicap, a crypto with a supply of several billion would be much more relevant.
Besides he has regular congestion problems, we will see if with Lightning Network if it will improve.
