WHAT IS YOUR VIEW ABOUT THE FUTURE OF ALTCOINS?

I want you guys to starting leaving your comments and opinions about what you think can become of altcoins in the nearest future....won't it be subjected to regulations of the Government? Will the general populace of the world buy into the idea of altcoins even now that bitcoin is becoming the talk of the day in most places?

all i can say is maybe if some altcoins introduce or endorse  more infrastructure like ATM machines certified by the government, Private banks or public banks as well thats only my support idea for that 
just like BCH is now implemented this one last week

I think we need to tread lightly and keep the SEC from calling them securities in the USA, since that would cause a LOT of problems.

I recommend everyone read a bit about the Howey Test and try to look for tokens that pass. Especially because, even though the USA not the world, there's a BIG influence and what makes coins and tokens great is the fact that they are different from stocks and bonds.

I think the future is VERY bright, and that we are on the cusp of a HUGE change in mindset about what constitutes money. Ride that wave and you will end up rich, ignore it and you will end one of the poor workers who are ever looking to the big gold pyramid they can never get into.

The landscape is changing rapidly for altcoins. There are two trends, one is to make altcoins compliant with regulations so big players can move in, the other is a move toward greater anonymity with privacy coins. I would like to see both to develop, because I really like the idea of decentrallization and freedom from government control. At any rate altcoins are here to stay in the future!

Altcoins will sure have to evolve to face the new realities of regulations whether as securities or utilities. Investors are also going to be looking out more for altcoins that deliver on the promise not just hype.

Some will die and some will survive.
Some projects will be abandoned by dev team and community.
Only projects with real team and real use case will become popular and survive.
I think it'll be regulated to some extent in the future.

I believe, Bitcoin as the oldest and #1 crypto currency has already taken its niche in the digital world.
The main role of altcoins, in my humble opinion, is to create Bitcoin the free market environment and bring more competitiveness. They are used more to earn gains in fluctuations and then convert to Bitcoin again.Frankly speaking, only Ether actually stands out of the hundreds of other tokens . It is backed up by a really disruptive tech and as Bitcoin it is kept decentralized.
Guess, in the mid-term future there will be only 2-3 altcoins rivaling the champion. As for national government regulations, they influence the whole cryptocurrency space world-wide dumping prices and creating issues. Guess, more new regulations and tax rules are to come on stage as many countries now still define their official attitude to the cryptomarket in general.

There will be others that would choose to be subject by the government and others will not, and still altcoins in the future can't stop the supremacy of bitcoin over them.

My view is it will go from place to place as crypto enlarging the domination in the world. People are crypto oriented and government will try to hold it back.

Not all alt coins are going to make it at the end of the day. Most alt coins are just repetition of same old idea of other popular alt coins. As the world gradually emerges into an era of cashless society, alt coins will surely play a part as they are being spearhead by Bitcoin.

Not cool if all altcoins will go in the future. It is clear in crypto life that there are some alts won't survive in the long run. Unsuitable to the eyes of people the result unsuccessful.

I think in future altcoins without product will be closed by regulators, so invest your money only into altcoins with product, not just idea.

We will see more and more altcoins, many scams I think..

The more ICOs launched by legitimate companies run by experienced professionals with actual track record, the more the crypto space will grow positively. Case in point: UK's Green Running.
