Crypto-related Sites / Re: Coinmarkatcap?
« on: Today at 04:15:30 PM »
I have different opinion about this matters. I would recommend CoinGecko instead, especially for newcomers.

Honestly, I tried to use Coingecko more for some other reasons, but CMC is still more user-friendly, or at least it is much more convenient for me to use.
Although lately, CMC has become quite slow, too much data is loaded, often completely unnecessary, plus various advertisements and javascript, and it has a lot of impact on the usefulness of the site itself.

I would like to see a better alternative that will be devoted exclusively to the needs of the user.

I noticed some famous faces, who are the most active in the gambling board on Btt. Why don't any of them start gambling topics, or contests similar to those on Btt?
If you want to attract casinos to be present here and possibly contribute to the promotion, a certain user base must be created.

Although honestly, is it necessary to turn another crypto forum into a gambling forum?

Oopsss!
It seems Frogmixer went down in history faster than he got here.

Bitcoin Forum / Joinmarket.net (discussion) experience?
« on: Today at 02:20:26 PM »
Does anyone have personal experience with Joinmarket or at least experience from a reliable source?

After the departure of Samurai and Wasabi wallets from the Coinjoin feature, Joinmarket seems to be the only remaining "free" option.

I would like to get feedback from someone who has used JM. How safe and effective is it in general?
What are the pros and cons here?
Is there a risk here and can developers be prosecuted by the feds?

Forum related / Re: Campaigns and Forums Traffic
« on: Today at 02:04:15 PM »
If you noticed recently those who were active in the forum when they were in any of the paused campaigns are no longer posting again, because there are no more in campaign and once there is a new campaign open, you will notice that they will come back again.

This happens even on Bitcointalk. After the mixer was banned, Jambler was also turned off, now Bestchange, some of the most generous campaigns are no longer on the forum. You can certainly feel that lack. Add to that that over time, certain old users leave the forum for other reasons, and a decrease in activity is expected.

The affiliate program is literally "create a mixer website" and you will earn commissions.

Mixtum, webmixer, mixerdream, thormixer do not have any reserves of their own, all their coins come from Jambler who pays them a commission for each mix performed.

As a website owner or blogger, if you prefer that title, you know that you will have more motivation to promote someone if you can earn something additionally through an affiliate. It is a fact.

I believe Mixtum, Webmixer, Mixerdream, Thormixer would be happy to give 10-20% of their profits to affiliate partners to bring in new clients, but they don't even have that possibility using the Jambler system.

But I think we are getting a little further away from the discussion in this thread.
Yap, let's stay on-topic here.

I would like to ask the Mixero devs, or maybe this is a suggestion. By choosing the advanced mixing process, and receiving Ethereum, it would be really good to have a more accurate calculator.
In the end, the user gets Ethereum, so the calculator should show such a result. However, it is a kind of swap, rather than mixing. Or at least, showing the BTC/ETH rate which is used in the process.

Usually, I don't keep my crypto on Metamask, but as you may know, sometimes projects offer something good. As you may know, there is a new ETH layer2 blockchain named Blast and their website is blast.io, they are offering something good. All you have to do is hold ETH on the Blast network and connect your wallet to their website. It will generate some points that will later convert into their native tokens. So, I was farming their airdrops with this wallet, and the scammer stole all my ETH on that chain. But, never mind. I revoked the connection, and all other networks except Blast and Arbitrum were safe.

I'm sorry for your loss, I hope it's not a significant amount, but I wouldn't blame Metamask for it. I learned a similar expensive lesson earlier, after that only Metamask + hardware (Trezor) wallet.
All airdrops where I have to hold ETH on some network are risky for me and that's an additional reason why I don't want to consider them.

Bitcoin is a bit too volatile for that but it suits most people's needs for generating wealth. Me personally though, I just use it as currency as it was intended to be.

I prefer to hold Bitcoin over fiat currencies.

It wasn't mercy. The hacker received 10% of them funds, millions... and now he is "clean" I guess.

There was an offer of 10%, but there are no details from the conversation between the victim and the hacker. It is certainly a mercy that he agreed to return the money without any investigation.

That's why you're not supposed to fetch addresses to pay using the transaction history. Many wallets have an address book specifically for that purpose. For example, Electrum has such a feature.

But of course, if the problem comes from the likeness of addresses on different networks, well then it's much harder to detect, really. Except I guess for only using one wallet per network.

Honestly, this seems quite sophisticated to me, it would never occur to me to come up with such a method. Maybe because I don't think about how to steal someone's money.

Nevertheless, a banal mistake like sending to the wrong address due to similarity, and the amount involved is $70 million... It is quite irresponsible of this person to make such a transaction.

is there any specific reason now why mixers are shutting down? is it about the government running against them or its the people who is preventing from using mixing services ?
it looks like there are more and more of them that shutting down each year so wondering that in the coming years there will be no mixing that available for the users.

Because the developers of services that deal with increasing privacy and anonymity going to be arrested. The authorities have decided to label the developers as money launderers, although they are aware that this is pure nonsense so by arresting them they are trying to discourage the further development of this segment.
Unijoin, Tengri, and Tumbler are examples of the method working.

For example:
Samourai Wallet seized and founders arrested
or Tornado Cash developer Alexey Pertsev has been found guilty of laundering $1.2 billion

Some are wondering if the "new areas" that you mention could mean that you're considering moving the campaign to ALTT.
Yes, I also thought that, I believe ALTT is a good place for them to advertise their exchange and they could literally get similar kind of exposure that they were getting on Bitcointalk for much cheaper pay rates. Let's hear what they think about marketing on this forum.

Can we stop discussing only the signature campaign when it comes to Bestchange?
I have already written several times, that the purpose of the existence of Bestchange (and many other services) is not to have a signature campaign and give money to forum users.

Don't look at them as just a source of easy money.

I saw today in bitcointalk forum one accusation for another service Cryptomixer.io, but I didn't see any evidence and that guy didn't even download letter of guarantee ::)
I'm not sure, but icopress mentioned another mixer (in addition to Yomix) for which there are scam accusations on other networks. It may be cryptomixer.io, but I haven't found anything specific about it.
(I mentioned him now, maybe he will give here more information that he has)

It looks better now, and inactive old mixers could be added separately without images, maybe in different post for historic purposes.
I was thinking earlier, that I'll probably add in a second post some kind of log for the mixers that were removed from the list with a short explanation.

2000x Easy Gains: Yes
Is it possible that we have such a good opportunity right in front of our noses?

Honestly, I don't see anything special here. Everything I've read has already been seen xx times in almost all shitcoin shows.

- What exactly are the benefits of this token and what improvements, and innovations does it bring?

It's a bit embarrassing to make a site like yours and come here begging for some money.
