It is difficult mate, I don't think bitcoin could possible to surpass gold market cap. Gold is  most popular and physical assets. Bitcoin is more profitable, but I see old people still believed in gold for their investment.

Definitely, I am very sure that bitcoin will surpass gold marketcap in few years from now(2021). Just imagine bitcoin that was invented 10years ego, and now btc has touched $1.5t. I just think that in few years, btc will overtake gold with huge gap that may gold may not come back to it's position.
