2020, can altcoin replace bitcoin

This question has been asked hundreds of times before, no Altcoin can replace BTC not even in 10 years from now. BTC is the backbone to Cryptocurrency and I do not see anything can change this fact sooner or later, this question is like asking can any currency take Gold place.

With this current Altcoins market performance in which most of the Altcoins are depending of Bitcoin price movement, then could say that it is impossible for any Altcoins specially Ethereum to supersede Bitcoin. When the Bitcoin price crush then it should be the opportunity of any Altcoin to step up but what is actually happening is that rise or fall of Bitcoin price it will always create a domino effect to the Altcoins. So how could altcoins replace Bitcoin in that way?

There is hope in 2020 that Altcoin can beat Bitcoin. But Altcoin must be free from the influence of the Bitcoin market and be independent. With that, Altcoin will have a big chance and it is even possible that Altcoin can beat Bitcoin in the near future and that it might be done by Altcoin in 2020. Hopefully Altcoin can do it.

I think altcoin has the ability to replace bitcoin. Because we know that some altcoins have better technology than bitcoin. But who must remember, bitcoin is a pretty strong coin, so I think bitcoin is still difficult to replace.

I agree with your opinion, based on the active bitcoin node has the most number compared to altcoin even ETH which occupies the second crypto position is still far below bitcoin from the active node. This means that bitcoin is still widely used by people for transactions and the strongest network. So, I don't think anyone can replace bitcoin.

I do not think that there will be a coin that can move Bitcoin, as it seems to me, investors will always be interested in Bitcoin and most likely they will be interested in them not even as a coin, but rather as an asset!

I think altcoin is still very far from bitcoin. Even though they are created with technology that can outperform bitcoin, they can't fight the big bitcoin community. That's why Altcoin cannot replace bitcoin for the next 5-10. Bitcoin will still be king in crypto currency.

Even in 2030, no altcoin will replace Bitcoin, maybe some 50 years to come before that can be possible.

Assuming bitcoin will forever be the main coin in crypto land. In my point of view no altcoins can change the position of bitcoin in 30 years even 50 years.

If there is a chance that Altcoins are going to replace bitcoin, the question we should be asking ourselves is how? Bitcoin has been controlling the market and the crypto world rests on the shoulders of bitcoin since it is worth almost half the whole cryptocurrency capitalization.
