I've come to my mind, If it is a good idea to dump all my remaining alts even its not yet recover from their usuall price and buy bitcoin and etheium. Because I notice bitcoin is started to surge and eth as well.

I'm not going to advice you on what you should do. It depends on the risk you are willing to take really. If I'm in a similar position, I would check first if how much loss I would incur if I sell them all. If it's at a minimal loss, then I might do it.

I think it is more reasonable to hold a few your altcoins and invest to eth for the rest. BTC is really hyped and pumped right now which can be really risky to invest in. I find it like gambling a little bit, to be honest. What I would do is sell half of my alts and go eth. Of course this is not a financial advice

Well, here hardly anyone can give you the only true advice. I heard that the whales are going to very much raise the level of Bitcoin capitalization and thereby cause another increase in its price. People do this, yes. Because in the BTC run, almost every coin suffer. Although they gain value as dollars, they generally lose value as satoshi. But you may not be able to buy the same coin at a lower value, if it pumps, you may get less coin :D it happens as well. I'm a long term player, I hold my coins no matter what. My all investments are in altcoins that are now 90%+ losses. Everyday altcoins dump except BTC and ETH stables now. If i didn't invest, i am now in huge profits only holding BTC and ETH.

In my opinion you are making haste in taking decision. I believe you should hold your coins for another 2-3 months. Apart from this no doubt bitcoin and ethereum is the highest potential coin to invest but alts will also rise sooner or later. Sell only those alts that you believe does not have worth to hold rest is your choice.

That's not a good idea for me, You must spread your investments to different coins so you will going to have a lot of chance of each coins when they suddenly go to the moon. Look for other best coins out there, there's really a lot of choices for us to spread our money ^^

Dumping is not a very great idea because you are making haste in your decision. I think you should hold your coins for sometime. Perhaps the coins will rise and get huge profits later. Ethereum and bitcoin are good coins to invest too.

Well its your call since you are the owner of that altcoins, But if you clarified what was that kind of Altcoins, is it in the Top 100 in the coinmarketCap will if its yes. Then i think you should reconsider that decision just remember that dont put all your eggs in one basket. maybe it Eth and BTC are established coins. still its cryptocurrency and always associated with risked.

I don't think that is a good ideal to dump all the altcoins, there could be much risk for dumping your altcoins because those altcoins you want to dump may turns out to become a mega coins in time to come in order to avoid some level of regret tomorrow because you dumped all the remaining altcoins you have to buy etherum and Bitcoin, although it maybe a good ideal but for I don't think of dumping.

If you have been familiar with most developing exchanges site, you might have observed that the same reason has caused some of these exchanges to keep adjusting the prices of certain coins especially ERCO20 tokens.
Many has decided to sell off their altcoins to either Bitcoin or Etheruem because both coins keep surging while some of these altcoins remain stagnant.

Actually, dump the prices is no good decision since it will give bad impacts to the prices. It is better to sell your altcoins at the "buy orders". It is much better to avoid a high decrease in price. To be honest, I never dump the prices of my altcoins because I am aware it is not a fair way.

I think it's not a good idea. you can just sell your altcoins for a penny and in a few weeks will start a strong altocins growth and you will blame yourself. If you bought altcoins for btc then I'd rather advise both to keep and not to sell.

I think its a choice. Neither of us has the ability to say this is wrong or this is right. But investing is all about diversifiying imo. What i mean is, you should allocate the risk about your investments , all your investments shouldn’t be in a coin or two. But if this is your preference all we can say about this is good luck. My only advice is to follow the market every moment because great opportunities can occur in the bull season in alts.
Btc is 12k usd(ath 20k usd) eth is 300 usd (ath 1400 usd) so in btc base you can earn %80 percent, eth base 3.5x , but in some altcoins(like ada) you can earn 10x or more.

Why you don't learn more about the alternatives coins which are held? And find the good information about the your alternatives coins for coming future than you just do cut lost and buy bitcoin and ethereum, because in my personal opinions losing stop lost is mean reduce your capital on cryptocurrencies except if you want do trading alternatives coins. Should you make your own rule of investment in cryptocurrencies first before making desicion on cryptocurrencies (some people call it as trading plan in cryptocurrencies) so you know what must be done on your portofolio of investment in cryptocurrencies space.

Maybe because of what happening mostly in project that's why he decided to do that. Actually isn't a bad move considering in return is a playsafe investment. We know how good is btc and eth and it will not go down too much and has a chance to regain investment cause chances to go up again is pretty huge. Altcoins are also good but with this market soms of them might have died out soon and we can blame him for having such thought.

Converting all your altcoins to ETH and Bitcoin could be a good decision now and later you can regret selling because what you sold today could appreciate after awhile. Cryptocurrencies can not be predicted what you don't expect can happen. Think deeply before you make your decision so that you don't feel bad later. I have traded my bitcoin for altcoins that I though could soar in some years to come but what I have now are worth less coins. I do not feel sad because it was my decision. I think your idea is much better, if you think your altcoins don't have a future then better dump it then buy eth, btc or bnb then hold it for long term. I don't recommend to hold an altcoin that doesn't have use case cause it will continue to fall down to nothing. Unlike Major coins there is a higher chance that they will increase in the long run.

Yes you are right. I partially agree with you. But some altcoins sometimes grow very quickly and well in price and their retention can bring even more profit than Ethereum or Bitcoin.

That is exactly what i concluded after long downtrend especially for alts that never seem to have an end but to be honest some of the good alts have recovered nicely as well and some already are making new highs so maybe alt investment is just like this, i mean high risk high return.
