Title: What altcoins are you looking to buy and hold for 2021?
Post by: dragononcrypto on November 27, 2020, 09:27:28 AM
Another altseason looks to be around the corner after Bitcoin reached $19.5K and the DeFi bubble that happened over summer. While many coins and tokens are at considerable discounts to Bitcoin, as well as the dollar, what coins are you looking to buy before the years end to hodl through another bull market?

I'm currently 75% in BTC at the moment, around 15% ETH, 10% other altcoins: LINK, XMR, TRX, ATOM, LTC, ENJ, RLC, BAT, DOT, KNC + more.
I'm looking to change this by 2021, raise my Ether to become 20% of my portfolio, other altcoins to around 15-20% too, leaving 60-65% in BTC.
So far I'm looking to buy into the following DeFi-based projects: REN, BAL, FYI, KSM, KAVA, UNI, AMPL, BNT, CEL + more.

What coins or tokens are you looking to buy or bought recently? Shill me your coins so I research them :)

Many people buy a lot of money from the market to make a profit. In all currencies but it is not possible to profit. As prices fluctuate a lot, so there is a high risk. It is seen that the investor needs money at a time when Bitcoin has to be sold at a lower price than what he bought at that time. However, I think altcoins should be invested in small amounts. I have bought Eth, LTC, Dot, Link, UNI, SXP, NEAR etc. in short range.

^ you have a good list of coin investment portfolios. I'm doing research on the future of NFT gaming coins like MANA because every year the game has an incredibly large market.

Not surprisingly when you have 75% of your assets in BTC, obviously it is the right decision because BTC is always the crypto King.
I prefer ETH, because I like new blockchain platforms, I think they are the key to applying blockchain technology more widely, not just in payment method. I transferred 90% of my assets to ETH to wait for Ethereum's growth following the launch of ETH 2.0 early next month.
Cardano's ADA is also a good option, I'll do more research.
As for DeFi tokens: I think they fluctuate too much, and they can cause me heart attack ^^

If you do have a lot of funds, of course bitcoin is the next choice and ethereum, but you should not be discouraged if you have a small capital, there are also many good altcoins and potentially profitable. do not hesitate to choose altcoin tokens that are at the top of the rankings.

because a big party is expected next year and you have to be prepared.

Basically you have listed all the coins with high growth potential. I recently purchased SXP, QLC, TOMO, NANO and ALGO. But I set aside a small amount every month to buy more of these coins, because I think they have high growth potential and may rise in price.

At the moment, I'm waiting for the prices of various top cryptocurrencies to fall very much and then I will make investments, but for now I think that of course I will invest in bitcoin, ethereum, link, binance coin and there are several interesting new defi projects that interested me too, namely primedao, poolz and possibly dego.

One of the best altcoins to keep an eye on next year will be Bitcoin Cash. Although BCH hasn’t seen the types of gains that the likes of Ether and Bitcoin has, this cryptocurrency has an excellent chance of achieving new-found levels of mainstream adoption.

Agree with you. The above coins are very good for investment. It is possible to make a profit by investing in the above coins. There are lots of coins in the market today that should be invested wisely. To be successful in investing, you need to invest less to grow more resources. So I think the investment is currently profitable.

I still hold my ethereum just for 2021 hopefully the alt season will come. I don't think you need more altcoins to invest because seems you already invested the potential altcoins,I think you should sum up more with your altcoins and no need to find a new one. For sure once the bullish market will happen your altcoins will booming..

Investing in LINK, XMR, TRX, ATOM, LTC, ENJ, RLC, BAT, DOT, KNC etc. coins will definitely better. Because these are the coins of many long-term plans. If you want to invest in any of these, you have to be engrossed in long-term thinking. If the investment is short term then you cannot invest in them. So we have to plan for the long term.

Not surprisingly when you have 75% of your assets in BTC, obviously it is the right decision because BTC is always the crypto King.

I know right. For an altcoiner, I'm not that diversified, but have been gradually increasing my exposure over the past year. I generally prefer low risk, hence it's a gradual process for me.

I prefer ETH, because I like new blockchain platforms, I think they are the key to applying blockchain technology more widely, not just in payment method. I transferred 90% of my assets to ETH to wait for Ethereum's growth following the launch of ETH 2.0 early next month.

Wow that's a bold move putting 90% into Ether, but I do understand. As I said I'm planning on dollar cost averaging more ETH at the moment as it's at a much better discount than BTC, hence selling more BTC recently to buy more ETH, as well as buy orders at lower levels to dump more Bitcoin into it. At a 1-2 year average price against Bitcoin, Ethereum does look great to me right, as well as fundamentally with 2.0 on it's way.

As for DeFi tokens: I think they fluctuate too much, and they can cause me heart attack ^^

DeFi tokens are very volatile it's true, but I think in the mid-term they will be the most profitable. I did get lucky with some buys on LINK as well as RLC earlier this year, and sold good profit back into Bitcoin while still holding 30-50%. It made me realise that I want more I can flip for satoshi profit  8)

I think besides Bitcoin, I will choose at least 2 altcoins:
- ETH -> It is likely the king of altcoins
- LINK -> It is likely the king of DeFi
In the project type, the two coins are what I always trust.
Besides, I will also check for other coins or tokens that I think have chances to grow up significantly such as DIA, XRP, XLM, and also DOT

Wow, great portfolio. I also think so, BTC is the most crypto that I don't want to miss. Increasing the amount is my priority right now. Besides, I have ETH, ZIL, OGN, LINK, and also XRP. Well, although OGN is now very bad in increasing the price, I still hold it.

I am looking for Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Link. I think those are the best option to choose for holding till 2021. Many people stated that 2021 is the time for bullish, so just hold the most potential coin/token. I am holding those coins and plan to keep it till big bullrun.

Ironic, I also have a little bit of ZIL left. It went down 95% from where I bought it and now it's only down 50% after a quick 10x. Mad stuff, almost tempted to double down on it to be honest, but haven't followed the project since 2018  :-X

Waves coin is my choice at the end of this year, it is likely that the price of waves reaching $10 is likely to be easily achieved in 2021, if the price I want exceeds the market price achievement, then I am very grateful because this coin is still at $6 at the moment.
For DeFi coins, I will buy MKR, maybe for the long term and I hope to get 15-20% profit in 2021.

ETH, LINK, XRP, TRX, ADA, XLM, and DOT. These are may target to buy and hold in 2021. For me, these coins are like the main altcoins, if there is bullrun in altcoins, these coins are the first ones to increase. So, from the very beginning, I have planned to buy and hold these altcoins.

DeFi won't disappear, it will always be there because that's what everyone needs, the problem is not DeFi but about a scam project that has a DeFi concept.
Now it is the investor's decision to prefer hype coins or indeed coins that are built with clear fundamentals.

A few are able to create a good position in the market. There are some tokens in it that have improved a lot in the market. However, it is not possible to invest in all coins or tokens. It is possible to make a profit by investing in these high level coins in the market. So the year is good for investment.

Altcoins grow along with the entire market, and some even fall in relation to bitcoin. So it is best to keep altcoins from the top in 2021. Although if bitcoin goes on a correction, they will also fall. Such altcoins as Ethereum and XRP have already grown well and it is dangerous to enter them.

Coins like LINK, XMR, TRX, ATOM, LTC, ENJ, RLC, BAT, DOT etc are much better. These are on the investment list of many. These are just some of the goal setting shareware that you can use. To be successful in investing, it is possible to make a profit by investing in these. So I think it is not possible to make a profit by investing only in the top coins in the market. There are some coins that are not very well known, but it is possible to make a profit by investing.

After the bitcoin surpassed its previous all time high, a few altcoins looked really good to invest in coins like eth, xrp, link, and bnb, these altcoins have showed great strength during this current bull run, so I believe they are worth looking into especially ETH, cause after the ETH 2.0 is fully deployed, the price of Eth is expected to reach atleast $1000. Or maybe surpass the previous all time high.

Top altcoins like ETH, XRP, BCH are still my top priority.  defi projects and new tokens.  I don't think we should hold them for a long time

I think I will still stick with Ethereum. After Ethereum 2.0 I was really curious about what would happen to Ethereum in the future. And maybe a new change will be clearly seen and we feel in 2021. So I bought Ethereum for 2021.

I am currently joining the Bistroo.io Bounty campaign, I don't have much expectation from other tokens. I just want Token from the Bistroo Bounty that I participate in can be popular and have a high price in 2021!

hope that in one token in the bounty it is certainly not wise to do especially in the belief that the tokens that are followed will produce the best and can produce something in year 2021.
we will not know on the way a token is even though it seems that many investors have dropped their choice of the token, because based on experience that there are still many greedy people who are always lurking to enrich themselves and their teams.

still have to do something else to anticipate that what we expect is not satisfying and disappointing. If indeed you are paid according to the existing rules and because of the success and getting fantastic things, of course it is a blessing. but if this doesn't happen, of course you will have no other alternative, even though currently there are many alternatives that might be good.
do not underestimate because the bounty which has no followers will actually produce extraordinary things, this is only based on experience.

I think I see a good opportunity to invest in Defi. Because this year Defi is able to prove that it can compete with good old coins, so that next year the technology will definitely be even better. and will potentially be successful.

I'm loading up on Ethereum, UNI, KAI, LINK and DAG. These are altcoins I've done much research on and i'm convince will deliver it's roadmap. Hopefully, it will yield me some profits and recover from 2019 losses.

Looks awesome. Currencies are good for investing. Good for investments like bitcoin, Ethereum, litecoin, Bitcoin cash. The mentioned currencies are also good for investment. Because it is possible to make a profit by investing in good quality coins in the market. However, not everyone can afford to invest in high value coins. So I think investing is a great plan.

In the last few weeks, I decided to focus on coins with the possibility of stacking. If you do not take into account Ethereum, then at the moment I have launched ICX, Cartasi and TRX in the stacking. And of course the BNB Vault.

I was surprised to see the Ethereum price increase from $190 to $600 and I also heard the news that xrp coin holders will receive an airdrop on the specified date.
I'm going to hold on to Ethereum and XRP for a year and see how much profit it can make if the price doesn't go down again

I still trust Bitcoin in 2021 because Bitcoin makes it easy to trade.
Altcoins like Ethereum or USDT stable coins are only limited assets that are short to own.

USDT is probably the best way to WD money on my credit card and Ethereum is mostly used for bounties.

I want to invest and hold for long-term periods the following Cryptocurrencies.
My the best investment coin is bitcoin, ethereum and litecoin. Above three coins have future guarantees to make profits.

For investment, maybe yes, but never miss the risk of investing in crypto, when you have many advantages, of course you will forget the security system.
My advice, don't invest all the funds you have in crypto and make sure you have stable coins after getting profit from trading, in order to avoid the risk of falling prices.

Ethereum remains the number one choice, followed by other coins. Especially after the release of Ethereum 2.0, many people hoped that there would be a high price increase in the next year.

I really think TRX and link are one of best as a long-term investment . Recently TRX as well link show a bull run , but I think TRX have great potential to overtake a good price in future , I already have good investment in TRX that's I wants to store till it's price didn't touch $0.1 or 0.2$ .
