What altcoins are you looking to buy and hold for 2021?
« on: November 27, 2020, 09:27:28 AM »
Another altseason looks to be around the corner after Bitcoin reached $19.5K and the DeFi bubble that happened over summer. While many coins and tokens are at considerable discounts to Bitcoin, as well as the dollar, what coins are you looking to buy before the years end to hodl through another bull market?

I'm currently 75% in BTC at the moment, around 15% ETH, 10% other altcoins: LINK, XMR, TRX, ATOM, LTC, ENJ, RLC, BAT, DOT, KNC + more.
I'm looking to change this by 2021, raise my Ether to become 20% of my portfolio, other altcoins to around 15-20% too, leaving 60-65% in BTC.
So far I'm looking to buy into the following DeFi-based projects: REN, BAL, FYI, KSM, KAVA, UNI, AMPL, BNT, CEL + more.

What coins or tokens are you looking to buy or bought recently? Shill me your coins so I research them :)

Many people buy a lot of money from the market to make a profit. In all currencies but it is not possible to profit. As prices fluctuate a lot, so there is a high risk. It is seen that the investor needs money at a time when Bitcoin has to be sold at a lower price than what he bought at that time. However, I think altcoins should be invested in small amounts. I have bought Eth, LTC, Dot, Link, UNI, SXP, NEAR etc. in short range.

^ you have a good list of coin investment portfolios. I'm doing research on the future of NFT gaming coins like MANA because every year the game has an incredibly large market.

If you do have a lot of funds, of course bitcoin is the next choice and ethereum, but you should not be discouraged if you have a small capital, there are also many good altcoins and potentially profitable. do not hesitate to choose altcoin tokens that are at the top of the rankings.

because a big party is expected next year and you have to be prepared.

Basically you have listed all the coins with high growth potential. I recently purchased SXP, QLC, TOMO, NANO and ALGO. But I set aside a small amount every month to buy more of these coins, because I think they have high growth potential and may rise in price.

At the moment, I'm waiting for the prices of various top cryptocurrencies to fall very much and then I will make investments, but for now I think that of course I will invest in bitcoin, ethereum, link, binance coin and there are several interesting new defi projects that interested me too, namely primedao, poolz and possibly dego.

One of the best altcoins to keep an eye on next year will be Bitcoin Cash. Although BCH hasn’t seen the types of gains that the likes of Ether and Bitcoin has, this cryptocurrency has an excellent chance of achieving new-found levels of mainstream adoption.

Agree with you. The above coins are very good for investment. It is possible to make a profit by investing in the above coins. There are lots of coins in the market today that should be invested wisely. To be successful in investing, you need to invest less to grow more resources. So I think the investment is currently profitable.

I still hold my ethereum just for 2021 hopefully the alt season will come. I don't think you need more altcoins to invest because seems you already invested the potential altcoins,I think you should sum up more with your altcoins and no need to find a new one. For sure once the bullish market will happen your altcoins will booming..

Investing in LINK, XMR, TRX, ATOM, LTC, ENJ, RLC, BAT, DOT, KNC etc. coins will definitely better. Because these are the coins of many long-term plans. If you want to invest in any of these, you have to be engrossed in long-term thinking. If the investment is short term then you cannot invest in them. So we have to plan for the long term.

Although I am not an investor in the cryptocurrency market. But I hold Bitcoin. I have some coins that I am able to hold. I think I will benefit. But the current market situation is a bit shaky. Thanks. Positive karma remained.

Not surprisingly when you have 75% of your assets in BTC, obviously it is the right decision because BTC is always the crypto King.

I know right. For an altcoiner, I'm not that diversified, but have been gradually increasing my exposure over the past year. I generally prefer low risk, hence it's a gradual process for me.

I prefer ETH, because I like new blockchain platforms, I think they are the key to applying blockchain technology more widely, not just in payment method. I transferred 90% of my assets to ETH to wait for Ethereum's growth following the launch of ETH 2.0 early next month.

Wow that's a bold move putting 90% into Ether, but I do understand. As I said I'm planning on dollar cost averaging more ETH at the moment as it's at a much better discount than BTC, hence selling more BTC recently to buy more ETH, as well as buy orders at lower levels to dump more Bitcoin into it. At a 1-2 year average price against Bitcoin, Ethereum does look great to me right, as well as fundamentally with 2.0 on it's way.

As for DeFi tokens: I think they fluctuate too much, and they can cause me heart attack ^^

DeFi tokens are very volatile it's true, but I think in the mid-term they will be the most profitable. I did get lucky with some buys on LINK as well as RLC earlier this year, and sold good profit back into Bitcoin while still holding 30-50%. It made me realise that I want more I can flip for satoshi profit  8)
