Being a moderator is a lot of work,
But it is also about dedication and love of cryptos
But to put enough time into something, you need to feel that you are rewarded somehow ...

Hi admin I hope I am not too late to join the party. I have gone through all the comments on this topics and found the following boards were already asked:
All local language board, Marketplace section, Forum related section, ICO & Tokens Offering, Other Popular Cryptos, Steemit Follow back service (complete list of bloggers), Steemit Follow for Follow and if not the last steemit fallow to fallow.
So I believe above boards already has a mod however I would like to express my interest to mod any of the following board or more than one. Both case I do not have any issue. I can assure excellent contribution to the forum.

Well, from my point of view our forum has a good moderator team already and they can manage all the troubles by themselves, without new ones. But I see that some unfair users think thak a subforum without an own moderator can be used like a trash bin for everything, and that's bad.thanks for the feedback

I support the idea of Jokers taking on non-crypto related sections. They aren't that busy, but it would be good to have someone keep an eye on them, otherwise spam posts get left there for days or weeks as I agree global mods rarely attend to these. I only visit these areas when I'm bored, I feel like other mods do the same :PI appreciate your support, thank you for your kind words! :)
I'm not sure we would need mods for other quieter english-speaking sections in hurry, as I feel like collectively we keep a good enough eye on the rest (personally speaking) but mainly I support someone who gets this forum and contributes by reporting topics etc to contribute more. In this case: Jokers.

I was active on this forum and my Bangali local board but i was busy a long days with my new job but i am now free and I am back to the forum again. Now I see that many people here have become inactive. And our Bangladeshi moderators are inactive for more than 1 year. So I am now interested to become a moderator and try to do something good for this forumHi, Admin.

Of course it's up to admin, but I don't see any single report from you. How can admin know if you will be a good moderator? I'd say that an application for a moderator duties should be more detailed. ???

It's quite possible this forum starts seeing some active campaigns and seeing activity grow at a rapid rate. This is why people are going to start applying for mod positions and try to get their foot in the door.Hi, Admin.

Being a moderator is a lot of work,
But it is also about dedication and love of cryptos
Mod requirements:
- Provide quality content and moderation in the general section you are moderating.
- Keep the section you are moderating free from spam and spammers etc.
- Handle the moderation reports that are submitted by users of your section.
- If Local Language Mod: Translate at least half of these Posts (https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?topic=184654.0) to your local language section & sticky them.
Please note:
- To be accepted you should be active on the forum daily and a regular poster.
- Acceptance is done few weeks after your application, to make sure you are active.
- You should be a Senior Member or above - some rare exceptions can apply.
- You should have no negative karma : no spam, no plagiarism etc ..

Yes, I know the situation. And mods will probably be needed in the future. But we both understand that just having a wish of being a mod is not enough. Many consider it as a way to get a more respected rank, but moderating is a job of helping people and cleaning the forum. And many things of that can be done even without any official rank. Why is there any strong need of hurrying in increasing mod number just to formally have more mods?
It's not that I'm against anyone to apply or have anything against any application already left. It's up to admin. But I think that we should learn more about candidates to make an informed decision.
Anyone who feels that they are ready for a lot of moderating work are welcome to leave applications and I highly appreciate their intentions to make our forum better! :)

For me, being a mod means to dedicate time and effort to help forum. It is not about cleaning the forum only, there are many things that we can do to help forum. Suggest constructive ideas for the development of the forum is also a part of our responsibility. So, everyone who wants to be a mod, must think deeply whether he deserves it and he wants to have a dedication to forum.

Most mixer campaigns will move here, and thus the number of active people will increase between 50-150 new members over the next month, all of whom have sufficient experience and activity.

I have seen this thread a couple of times but didn't read the whole thread and replies. I have checked the requirements now but I didn't find any application format. I am a member of the Bangla local thread and noticed Malam and Review Master already translated most of the topics. Both moderators have been inactive for almost a year now. I saw another application here but the member is not active either.
Currently, I am active in my local board, and I am participating in the forum. I would love to apply to be a local moderator of the Bangladesh board. :)

You have all introduced yourself in some way, but I have not seen in any application an answer to the question of why that particular member should be promoted to that position. Nor did I see that anyone gave any analysis, of what they think can be improved and what part they plan to cover, except for the local board.
