Yes, I know the situation. And mods will probably be needed in the future. But we both understand that just having a wish of being a mod is not enough. Many consider it as a way to get a more respected rank, but moderating is a job of helping people and cleaning the forum. And many things of that can be done even without any official rank. Why is there any strong need of hurrying in increasing mod number just to formally have more mods?
Not every mod can get a respect. If he becomes a useless mod, he even will have a bad reputation. For me, being a mod means to dedicate time and effort to help forum. It is not about cleaning the forum only, there are many things that we can do to help forum. Suggest constructive ideas for the development of the forum is also a part of our responsibility. So, everyone who wants to be a mod, must think deeply whether he deserves it and he wants to have a dedication to forum.
It's not that I'm against anyone to apply or have anything against any application already left. It's up to admin. But I think that we should learn more about candidates to make an informed decision.
It's up to president and vice president.
3. The President or Vice President will contact you following your application.
Me, too. I'm also not against anyone to apply here. But considers the existing mods on the boards before applying. If it seems the number of mods is enough, kindly choose another boards that have no mods yet. Having too many mods in a certain board won't be also a good idea. It is not necessarily needed.
