Do you think BTC can replace Fiat money?

Do you think BTC can replace Fiat money?
Even though it's too early to tell but it seems that the future is already revealed that in the fullness of time crypto currency will replace the fiat money but it is not clear if bitcoin is the one that will take over the place if fiat.
-
Well, I think bitcoin can replace fiat currency but in the near future.
-
bitcoin could replace cash if the country validates, but if not, bitcoin also will not be able to replace cash
-
It will replace cash if the people let bitcoin as the main currency. People have the power to accept or not the era of bitcoin in our daily lives.
-
It won't replace fiat, in my opinion not everyone knows how to operate a computer so majority will always prefer fait. because it has a sense of security and also because the government supports it.
I understand we all singing decentralization, yes that is true but majority of people in the world listen to the their respective government.
-
That can happen but looking at the way government interference has been on the rise recently, it will be very difficult for such to happen. Anyways we wait for a good day like that
-
Do you think BTC can replace Fiat money?
cryptocurrencies are a new kind of money, they're not issued by any governments, they're completely decentralized. And the money part is practically all they do. No government on Earth can 'overthrow' cryptocurrency, because cryptocurrency isn't tied to a nation that can just be invaded.
-
If we try to observe the changes that happened because of bitcoin, I believe it is enough to say that yes that will happen in the future. Time is the only matters here now.
-
i think btc will not replace our fiat money why? because governments have laws about it. and btc is hard to implement in some country thats why it difficult that btc will be a fiat money but in some situations btc can be a fee for our items we buy in online and some country also have a btc as a payment. but its not necessary to be as a fiat money.
-
I don't think it will be BTC which will replace fiat, but for example Ethereum might be that crypto currency . The time will show.
-
Do you think BTC can replace Fiat money?
No nor it will happen in the future. These are two different currenies that cannot compare to each other because this two currencies are both important to us, we need fiat as well as cryptocurrency.
-
it's tough, It could be but it will take a very long time. because Bitcoin is Digital money, where it can only be accessed by internet! is it possible we will always use the internet wherever we are? and again traditional people would have found it easier to use Fiat Money than Bitcoin. Bitcoin is only for intelligent people, and insightful.
-
bitcoin supplies 21 millions coins all over the world with billions of people in the globe. There will have serious problem if bitcoin replace the fiat. Maybe 50 years still to run from now bitcoin will make it if bitcoin will remain strong and still on the top.
-
Once we replace fiat to bitcoin I think life become more easier than with fiat living.
-
It looks more likely in the future but notherwise any time soon. There are a lot about Btc that has to improve to enhance mass adoption. The speed of transactions and the fee most especially.
-
Bitcoin can not, in principle, replace national money. No decentralized crypto currency can do this because of its high volatility in the price. Bitcoin and other decentralized crypto currency can only go in parallel with national money, then it will be beneficial, not harm. If national money is replaced by bitcoin, it will quickly disregard any economy of any strong state.
-
Personally if we see our present condition of our society we can found out that we are at the era of gadgets technology. We are dealing to crypto through gadgets. There is a chance for bitcoin to replace our fiat once everything goes well to the flow.
-
This may sound impossible now but looks kind of likely in the future. However, I think both have their pros and cons and as such both complementing each other will be the best
-
It depends on the country since not all accept bitcoin , but who knows? We can't predict what future would be. Nothing is impossible, but for now since not all already know about bitcoin, we will still using the fiat cash.
-
no bitcoin will not take over the place of flat money all u s know how to sing but not all of us is a good singer. like wise all of us know computer but not not all of us know how to operate coz we are dealing bitcoin through gadget
-
I don't believe bitcoin or cryptocurrency can take the place of fiat currencies besides not all countries accept cryptocurrency. Secondly cryptocurrency is not like fiat currency that you can exchange for goods and services at anytime. No one will like to use is crypto today and the price get higher tomorrow that's why many people prefer holding it for long time. Even if cryptocurrency is legalized to many people will still prefer to hold theirs for more profits to come.
-
Do you think BTC can replace Fiat money?
Hello ,
No, it can replace gold but not fiat.
Another crypto will replace the fiat
-
Do you think BTC can replace Fiat money?
Hello. No, it can replace gold but not fiat.
Another crypto will replace the fiat
I agree with you, because this is the most likely scenario for the development of Bitcoin to become an analogue of gold in the digital world. I'm sure that large investors will pay attention to Bitcoin when its price and capitalization will be higher, and volatility is low.
-
yes of course can be because bitcoin money is a new currency one day will surely replace cash ...
-
I think no at this moment for we are not yet ready for that. It is big enough decision to creates for bitcoin is too expensive for now. Maybe someday if there should have better coin that bitcoin provide for that purpose.
-
I really don't see it ever replacing fiat currencies honestly. Governments need to be able to have a currency so they can collect taxes and regulate how much money is in the economy. Governments everywhere are trying to get rid of cryptocurrencies but there's really no stopping it at this point.
-
bitcoin from time to time is always famous and always exist, in the year next year definitely bitcoin will replace the cash, and cash that will come already not in pakek again .
-
I think it will be if we let it happens. People have the power to make it come true if we decided to make it bitcoin replacing our fiat. New change but we should do it for wider and bigger opportunity.
-
Yes I believe it will happen soon but I don't believe it is because of bitcoin alone but because of the growth of crypto currencies.
-
Bitcoin cannot replace fiat currency without being controlled by the government. And one of the main ideas backing bitcoin is the idea of decentralization. Also, this will be highly difficult in areas with low literacy and technology.
-
This is very difficult to happen, traditional banking systems and the dollar are too strong to be easily defeated. So it's not right to set such targets for bitcoin. All crypto marketcap are also very small compared to Fiat cashs. I belive, it's not even seen as a serious threat, right now , but in future, can this situation change? Of course, nothing is impossible.
-
It can replace, as long as the government will accept bitcoin as currency, not now but probably in the near future
-
It will happen if the world leaders discuss this matter. If bitcoin replace fiat then we assume that it will be the era of bitcoin.
-
Do you think BTC can replace Fiat money?
There is probability that bitcoin can replace fiat cash in the future because there is nothing impossible with the evolution of technology now. But it might be takes a long time before it will happen.
-
Do you think BTC can replace Fiat money?
No state, I think, will allow any decentralized crypto currency to replace its national money. First, due to the fact that it is uncontrollable for the government, secondly, it does not reflect the real state of its economy, and thirdly, it has greater volatility, which simply will not allow it to be used normally as money. If decentralized crypto currency will go in place of national money, it will quickly unbalance its economy. Therefore, decentralized crypto currency is only able to squeeze out the national money and can only go in parallel with them.
-
It depends on us. Infrastructure development. The rich are not the ones who mine the gold, but the ones who sold him the shovel
-
Even though it's too early to tell but it seems that the future is already revealed that in the fullness of time crypto currency will replace the fiat money but it is not clear if bitcoin is the one that will take over the place if fiat.It will replace cash if the people let bitcoin as the main currency.
-
no and its impossible because using bicoin as payment requires internet connection unlike fiat that you canperform transaction at anytime.
-
It can replace, as long as the government will accept bitcoin as currency, not now but probably in the near future
Bitcoin is not capable of replacing cash. In addition, no state will ever decide to abolish its national currency and switch its economy to use a decentralized cryptocurrency. This would quickly deregulate the economy of any strong state. Decentralized cryptocurrency can move in parallel with the currency of states, but not replace it.
-
No, because BTC price movements are very difficult to control, and of course will disrupt a country's financial system, BTC is only suitable as an alternative.
-
I think bitcoin is only an option for payment other than fiat cash. because as an option, it is impossible for bitcoin to replace fiat cash.
-
I don't think Bitcoin will replace fiat, it just becomes one of the currency in the world. Replacing fiat is almost impossible because if is already be a part of human life. I think Bitcoin just becomes another currency in the future. It was what Satoshi stated in the WP of Bitcoin. I think it can be true in the future.
-
Cryptocurrencies are a number of types, they are not issued by any government, And it is difficult for BTC to implement it in any country because it is difficult that BTC will be a fast money but in some cases BTC may charge a fee to buy our items online and some There is also a BTC in the country as a payment. But it doesn't have to be fast money.
-
Crypto is better for online transcation to avoid high fees .
I didn't think that this is possible that crypto replace fait because Crypto is a online currency as well it's price didn't stable at any time . Many users feel difficulty while they used them . Alot of people surely going to be spammed by hackers .
-

With technological advances, it is clear that crypto can adjust to needs that are very necessary, but I personally agree with you that crypto cannot replace fiat because fiat is the main staple in economic transactions of everyone and in any country. but crypto will be a companion and cover the shortcomings that exist in fiat, so crypto will also be needed and be able to adjust.
-
This really depends on the government. If bitcoin could become legal, it would be very easy to replace fiat. but until now there is no clear point for this. But I believe, one day there will be a time when fiat can be replaced by bitcoin.
-

It will never happen, don't even dream about it. No state will ever switch to using a decentralized cryptocurrency instead of its national money. The economy of the state can develop only on the basis of national money. Cryptocurrency will quickly deregulate any economy if adopted as the main currency. Therefore, no government will ever agree to this.
-
My answer is yes, but very difficult, even if 1BTC = $1M, 1satoshi = 1cent can still be used in daily payments.
Here are a few reasons:
- BTC is easily abused for money laundering or terrorism financing;
- BTC threatens national finances when many people choose BTC as a tool to divest their capital abroad;
- BTC threatens the power of governments to control and manipulate the national economy;
- Payment in BTC requires special equipment and internet.
-
IMO, It can't. BTC is likely to support fiat as another global currency. I don't think that BTC has the power to replace fiat or the current currency in each country in the world. Even if BTC can be the global currency and accepted by all countries around the world, but we must know that not all people can use digital currency in every place.
-
There is no way Bitcoin will replace Fiat because Bitcoin does not have a stable price.
Even gold, which has become a benchmark for valuable assets throughout the world, cannot make gold as currency because there are many factors to make it happen.
Moreover, Bitcoin which was just born in 2009 and has an unstable style that makes everyone afraid of losing its price when a Dump occurs.
-
Have you ever ask why traders and investors keep their money in bitcoin for long and then after a while they withdraw back to stable coins? I know you will say inflation has affected everything within our surroundings but we human are emotional when it comes to where our funds are in.
Bitcoin is a revolutionary currency but many are only move by it increase over time but as soon as they hear negative, they sell back to fiat because they fear it might collapse. The same thing happens during covid-19 as many investors and traders where all removing their funds back to fiat.
-
I don't think Bitcoin can replace FIAT money for various reasons. The first reason is the ignorance of Bitcoin by a large part of the population, although lately more can be seen on TV and other media due to its new ATH. The second reason is the age of the world population, as a very simple example there are people (the oldest) who still do not know how to send an SMS, I cannot imagine those people opening Electrum and encrypting private keys. The third reason is the one we know best, banks (although more are being added lately), governments and other institutions that do not allow the state to change.
Those are just some of the reasons many people would not replace their FIAT for Bitcoin, especially out of fear of the unknown and digital ignorance.
-
Bitcoin cannot replace paper money. In addition, for this to happen, an appropriate government decision is needed. However, no state will ever make such a decision. States operate on completely different economic principles than decentralized cryptocurrency.
-
I don't think BTC can replace the function of Fiat in daily life. Bitcoin is digital money, cannot be used in any place that is hard to access the internet. Also, not all people know it, in the village people are not familiar with Bitcoin. So, I think Fiat cannot be replaced, BTC can function as additional global currency.
-
The market for bitcoin is constantly going to be good. The market value of Bitcoin is increasing. The price of Bitcoin is constantly rising as the demand of the people increases. Bitcoin price increases depending on demand. So the demand for Bitcoin is constantly increasing in different countries. Will be used as an alternative to future money.
-
Do you think BTC can replace Fiat money?
Everything can be happen at coming future. I think Bitcoin and others crypto have potential to replace fiat money at the coming future. Because I always believed digital era will come and we will see alof of digital currency there.
-
Do you think BTC can replace Fiat money?
Everything can be happen at coming future. I think Bitcoin and others crypto have potential to replace fiat money at the coming future. Because I always believed digital era will come and we will see alof of digital currency there.
But I think It will take several years again. I don't think It will happen soon. I always believed crypto currency will replace fiat cash at the coming future. Because we all know, crypto currency will be the future currency.
-
Do you think BTC can replace Fiat money?
It is too hard to speculate but maybe in the future nothing is impossible. Our way to cashless society is not that fast but it is slowly getting into reality so it is not possible. They both have different technology but people wants a decentralized and a revolutionary currency that is future proof and far from inflation.
-
I think in the future, yes? But in the present times, It is impossible to replace fiat money with Bitcoin because all of sudden economies will crash, unemployment increases and many more negative changes. But for now, it is better if it stays the same.
-
I usually read similar topics like this asking if BTC will replace the physical monies of each countries.
But i guess Bitcoin cant certainly replace fiat cash any time soon.....
for we all have different value of currency. Secondly it will a lot of adjustment around the world just to adapt on this process.
-
This is unlikely to happen cause bitcoin is not widely accepted around the world yet, fiat is still much easier to use fiat for our daily transactions,it doesn't have to involve a fee for transaction unlike bitcoin, also the government are against bitcoin due to it anonmity they can't control/track transactions done with bitcoin , so I doubt if bitcoin can replace cash in the future.
-
Many people also have some doubt about it. But mind that it's crypto it's never stable. Why stable currency interfering in crypto i don't know. Like usdt, Busd etc. It's better to be unstable. By the way it's not possible for cryptocurrency to be use fiat cash.
-

I understand we all singing decentralization, yes that is true but majority of people in the world listen to the their respective government.
I agree on that not everyone in a modern world knows how to use computer or gadgets, that is why i believe that bitcoin cannot replace the fiat even if bitcoin looks amazing but there are still so many people that didnt know about it.
-

Yeah you are right there are so many people that did not now how to operates computer specially those who are born on 1960 or to those who born before computers are invented, we all know that crypto is only runs through internet and with the use of the new technology or gadgets so i also believe that crypto will not replace fiat.
-
Obviously, my family and I are not ready to accept and use BTC instead of fiat.
The BTC transaction cost is so high, it's even higher than the value of many of the items we want to buy.
My parents don't even know how to use NFC, I don't know how they'll use BTC.
We live in the countryside, the internet is not yet available and the payment by bank cards is not really popular.
-
Do you think BTC can replace Fiat money?
Yes It can be. I think bitcoin and altcoins will replace fiat cash at the coming future when digital era come . We will see every countries have own crypto currency and bitcoin will be the King of them. Let's see.
-
I think it will be difficult for Bitcoin to replace fiat cash. Because this takes a very long process, and also Bitcoin will lose its character, because its value has to be stable in order to replace fiat cash.
-
Do you think BTC can replace Fiat money?
I think bitcoin has potential to replace fiat cash at the coming future. We all see bitcoin is so popular and has owned by many peopla all.the world. I hope We will see the digital era soon and I always believed crypto will dominate at market.
-
Do you think BTC can replace Fiat money?
I think bitcoin has potential to replace fiat cash at the coming future.
I agree, the world is stepping into another new dimension of technological advancement with respect to money online transaction such as trading, payment, saving, online gaming, ticketing, and so on....
In the future very possible to come up with cashless society. And Bitcoin would be the #1 digital coin globally.
-
I think this is very deficault to BTC replace our first cash. This is not possible because paper many is very important and easyly use to every countries peoples. Every peoples are not use bitcoin to their bye and sell. This is very difecault. So I think bitcoin has uses large and secure transection. So this is not possible BTC replace real Cash.
-
In the first place, there is nothing to be replaced with as all governments of the world will never allow that to happen. What can happen is that many may allow Bitcoin to be owned by their people like an asset and may even allow people to use Bitcoin like the usual fiat money. But replacement like kicking out the official currency and let Bitcoin take the vacuum left...no that is impossible. Bitcoin can work side by side with fiat monies we already have. Another problem is that actually the majority of people and financial institutions having Bitcoin are not actually using the cryptocurrency like ordinary money...they are not spending it and that makes BTC more like a store of value rather than everyday money. There is also a question of limited number of available Bitcoin...this can be a big problem as shortage of supply is quite possible. This can even be a problem soon when more and more institutional investors can be coming in to stake their claims with this cryptocurrency.
-
Well, bitcoin will not replace fiat money and traditional currencies in the next 10-20 years, well, in no way. It simply will not be given the green light, since countries and governments will defend and protect the dollar and the rest of the currencies with which they rule the world to the last.
-
3 years passed after OP posted this topic. Over the last 3 years you have already received answers from the behavior of Bitcoin. Actually Bitcoin isn't working against any fiat currency. Fiat currency will exist every corner of the world where Bitcoin won't be able to reach within shortest possible time rather Bitcoin will exist with fiat currency. We can't avoid our local fiat currency for the shake of Bitcoin. Bitcoin and Fiat currency will work together, one is physical and another is for virtual. Both will be vital part of our daily lives in the future.
-

I agree , bitcoin will not replace fiat money. I think the government will have own crypto currency to replace their national currency. Bitcoin always be the King of crypto currency and I believe we will see many altcoins at the future.
-
I don' think if the government will support this BTC to replace fiat cash. I believe that in the future we will use digital money and no more fiat cash but BTC is not recommended because it is a volatile coin. I better to use stable coin or our local digital currency.
-
Bitcoin will be an option for governments to stabilize finances in their country, maybe.
Why did that happen?
We don't know that some countries and governments buy half of their Bitcoin supply for them to store and in the future those countries will make rules about Bitcoin transactions and charge them what they want.
But all of that is just my imagination, but for now fiat currency is still the main means of payment and Bitcoin is used to invest the value of the wealth of someone who wants privacy.
-
Do you think BTC can replace Fiat money?
Bitcoin now a days becoming a global discussion . Most of the people of all over the world involving themselves with cryptocurrencies. Many bachelors and unemployee already adjusted themselves as a basis and permanent income in cryptocurrencies market. So one-day cryptocurrencies will replace the fiat currency which control by central bank.
-
NO.
BTC is a very good asset for investment or trading. This is also issued to be another way for payment method because of the problem caused by banks. However, if we are seeing the condition right now, it is clear that BTC will never replace fiat. However, it is possible if BTC can be one of the recognized currencies in the world to be used for the mostly global transactions.
-
I don' think if the government will support this BTC to replace fiat cash. I believe that in the future we will use digital money and no more fiat cash but BTC is not recommended because it is a volatile coin. I better to use stable coin or our local digital currency.
So am I, I don't believe the government will support bitcoin, maybe just accept bitcoin. Because every countries have national currency. So, I think bitcoin will not replace fiat cash. that's my prediction bro.
-
Do you think BTC can replace Fiat money?
I don't think about this. Bitcoin is very potential and so popular now. But I don't believe bitcoin will replace fiat cash . The government will keep their fiat cash. In my prediction government will have plan to create their own crypto currency at the coming future. I believe it.
-
It is difficult to replace fiat by Bitcoin because fiat is the strongest now over btc. the world have many different fiat it is still the most use even this day. Bitcoin is not so much popular to some remote places. What they have is just fiat they don't even know Bitcoin. Fiat still to win the world.
-
All governments and the entire banking system today are trying to transfer society to cashless payments. Based on this, paper money will soon cease to be massively used in the daily life of a person. That is why I believe that the transition from cashless to cryptocurrency payments will be less difficult and faster. In addition, the depreciation of national currencies and the growing popularity of cryptocurrencies contribute to this.
-
Do you think BTC can replace Fiat money?
Everything can be happen at crypto market. By seeing the bitcoin populairity, I think bitcoin has potential to replace fiat cash. At the coming future, when digital era com, I think crypto currency will dominate and replace fiat cash. It is my prediction. because cryto currency has been predicted will be future currency.
-
Do you think BTC can replace Fiat money?
Although nothing is impossible in this world, but I think that if you replace Fiat Money, bitcoin will not be able to completely replace it. Maybe in some scope of certain transactions that can ...
-
I think this is impossible to BTC replace our fiat cash. Because paper money is always needed every place. This is very essential for every person. Any whare any time we don't use cryptocurrency transaction. So this is nothing to possible to bitcoin replace our fiat cash. But I think bitcoin has will reduce our paper money transaction.
-

Yes, You are right. Bitcoin will reduce paper money transaction. Not only bitcoin, Altcoin will help to do it. Bitcoin will not replace fiat cash , but at the coming future we will see almost all of transaction will use digital currency.
-
Do you think BTC can replace Fiat money?

At the coming future, when digital era com, I think crypto currency will dominate and replace fiat cash. It is my prediction. because cryto currency has been predicted will be future currency.
Bitcoin simply cannot replace paper money. And the states will not allow him to do this, if it were possible. As long as states exist, their money will also exist. However, this money can change from paper to digital and beyond.
-
Of course not, It is impossible to replace fiat money because fiat money is actually used since long time ago and this is the way people use fiat to do the daily transaction for everybody in the world, it is easy to be used by all people But BTC is something new and only limited people who know about this
-
Do you think BTC can replace Fiat money?
No, I don't think bitcoin will replace fiat money, because the government will keep their own currency. So In my analyzing it is really difficult to be. Bitcoin will popular as digital currency and will not replace fiat cash.
-
well, I really agree with what you say because until now bitcoin is difficult to beat by fiat currencies, from a very different supply factor with both of them it will be increasingly difficult to beat the price of bitcoin.
-
I think Bitcoin can easily replace fiat money. And yet, all this goes to Bitcoin, many are already interested and invest in it. Since using Bitcoin is much easier.
-
if in my opinion it can't, because there are still many countries that have not legalized crypto, the lack of public knowledge about crypto, I don't think it will replace fiat money
-
it's tough, It could be but it will take a very long time. because Bitcoin is Digital money, where it can only be accessed by internet! is it possible we will always use the internet wherever we are? and again traditional people would have found it easier to use Fiat Money than Bitcoin. Currently you have a nice post about Bitcoin Fiat. We have learned a lot from this post. Thank you very much for giving such a post. If you have more information, please let us know.
-
if in my opinion it can't, because there are still many countries that have not legalized crypto, the lack of public knowledge about crypto, I don't think it will replace fiat money
Even in countries where Bitcoin is legalized, it is very difficult to switch to Bitcoin and abandon paper money, since most of the society has neither the knowledge nor the desire to use cryptocurrencies. First of all, you need to work on the popularization of cryptocurrencies in society, especially among the elderly.
-
if in my opinion it can't, because there are still many countries that have not legalized crypto, the lack of public knowledge about crypto, I don't think it will replace fiat money
Well, I also don't believe BTC can replace fiat cash for the next few years. Because We all know the government will against bitcoin ,if that's happening. So, Many people don't know bitcoin better.
-
Progress of BTC transactions is increasing day by day. Fiat is considered money. Transparency of transactions is constantly increasing. People want to convert their assets to btc instead of converting them into money. Due to this digital advancement in transactions, people are constantly refraining from cashing money. Cash is always popular through Bitcoin Virtual. Now btc can replace of our fiat money or cash.
-
well, I really agree with what you say because until now bitcoin is difficult to beat by fiat currencies, from a very different supply factor with both of them it will be increasingly difficult to beat the price of bitcoin.
that's right , until now bitcoinis difficult to beat fiat money. Because I think It is really difficult to change people habits. We all know fiat cash has been used by peoppe for along years ago. It is not easy.
-
Well I don't think this will ever happen because each of them are important in their own aspect, fiat can't replace crypto and crypto won't replace fiat, this two are much more important and is being needed by the society, cryptocurrencies can't take the responsibilities of fiat currency there are much more different.
-
I think Bitcoin can easily replace fiat money. And yet, all this goes to Bitcoin, many are already interested and invest in it. Since using Bitcoin is much easier.
I agree with you, but in some transactions that can be accessed by bitcoin. But not for conventional transactions. I don't think bitcoin has been able to displace fiat money because of its basic function
-
I always say that Bitcoin is a very amazing cryptocurrency, used for making the payment global more easily and efficiently. This also offers many more benefits than fiat. However, Bitcoin will never replace fiat. Why? because there is still the government that always rules the world. And we cannot ignore this law
-
I always say that Bitcoin is a very amazing cryptocurrency, used for making the payment global more easily and efficiently. This also offers many more benefits than fiat. However, Bitcoin will never replace fiat. Why? because there is still the government that always rules the world. And we cannot ignore this law
Therefore, as long as the states exist, the cryptocurrency will not be elevated to the rank of state currencies. Since paper money is government money, bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies have absolutely no chance of ever replacing paper money. And they cannot do it by their very nature with their very high price volatility.
-
Just as the trend of people is moving towards bitcoin and the demand for digital transactions is also increasing day by day, bitcoin can play its role in the near future.
-
Do you think BTC can replace Fiat money?
Maybe, at the coming future.
But not for the few years. Bitcoin is most popular at crypto market, but not alll people know about crypto currency . Maybe at the coming future, we will see.
-
Well, I think bitcoin can replace fiat currency but I think after a while.
-
It is possible that for such a situation fiat money would be used if the state had a rule to use it,It is possible that the real sector will be used if the real sector has a regulation that can be used, such as for developed countries where people often have indoor activities or digital transactions
-
Although it is too early to say, it seems that in the future it has already been revealed that cryptocurrency will replace Fiat Money in due course, but it is not clear if Bitcoin is the place to take Fiat.
-
I dont think BTC will replace fiat cash. If govt starts using it they will make their own currency they may use BTC as they are using Gold now. So i dont think they will use BTC.
-
I dont think BTC will replace fiat cash. If govt starts using it they will make their own currency they may use BTC as they are using Gold now. So i dont think they will use BTC.
I agree with you mate, It's impossible for bitcoin to replace fiat, not when bitcoin can't be used without you been connected to the internet, unlike cash that can be used for fast transaction in short distance, mainly bitcoin is only good when trying to send money to someone in another country, cause if it's within the same country banks can handle that seamless just by using a bank app, also the cost of transaction via bitcoin is really high unlike fiat bank charges insignificant amounts for any transaction.
Bitcoin will never replace fiat

I dont think BTC will replace fiat cash. If govt starts using it they will make their own currency they may use BTC as they are using Gold now. So i dont think they will use BTC.
So am I, I also don't believe bitcoin will replace fiat money. Because I think the government will not legalized bitcoin..The government will have own crypto currency, So don't think bitcoin will replace fiat money
-
In fact currently Bitcoin is widely used as a means of payment and replaces FIAT, but because there are still many countries that prohibit it, people do it secretly. and I think someday Bitcoin will completely replace Fiat for payment instruments.

Of course, I believe bitcoin has potential to replace fiat cash at the coming future.. The future currency will replace fiat money. But Maybe government will have own crypto currency, and Bitcoin will exist be the King of crypto currency.

Maybe more precisely, not replacing, but rather adopting the technology. I think this could still be a positive value for the crypto world if it could happen, because as we all know if something happens or good news, it will automatically affect the price of bitcoin and altcoin.

Not only the introduction of blockchain technology, but also the partial use of cryptocurrency for government purposes is quite possible, especially if the government follows the trends of world leaders. But I'm sure that no government wants to lose its monopoly to completely replace national currencies with cryptocurrencies.

Agree, Government will keep their fiat cash and always keep it. Because we all know crypto currency cannot be controlled. I think government will create own crypto for their national currency at the future.
-
Although it is too early to say, it seems that in the future it has already been revealed that cryptocurrency will replace Fiat Money in due course, but it is not clear if Bitcoin is the place to take Fiat.
Bitcoin will never replace the national currency of states. This will not be allowed by the state, and Bitcoin and other decentralized cryptocurrencies are simply not capable of this.

States have already started issuing their own cryptocurrency based on their national currency, these are their digitalized central bank currencies, that is, their stablecoins. It is they, and not bitcoin or another decentralized cryptocurrency, who will partially displace paper money from circulation. Bitcoin cannot be related to this process, since by its nature it is not capable of it.
New types of digital money should not lead to the complete disappearance of paper money. All their types have the right to exist, they must complement each other with their special properties.

NO, because Currently BTC has very little purchasing power because it is not accepted by many merchants. This makes it impossible to convert its value as a currency. Its value must be converted to that of a widely-accepted currency like the US dollar to determine its purchasing power.
-
I think it will still be difficult. Moreover, people are also comfortable with fiat. It will be very difficult if you have to change the habit of going digital as a whole.

Yes, It would difficult. As you know when elon musk bought bitcoin and announced to accept bitcoin for Tesla payment, USA government against it. So, I think It will happen at all countries. I don't think crypto will replace fiat cash.

Yes I agree with you, I think anything is possible to happen at the coming future. Maybe for now, It seem impossible but we should know about the future currency. I think crypto currency has potential to replace fiat cash.

Do you think BTC can replace Fiat money?
We need a lot of cash to run well in daily life. I mean cash, I mean who has the money in our hands.Bitcoin is a virtual currency coin that cannot be used with ease everywhere. But the advantage of cash is that it can be used easily anywhere So I don’t think Bitcoin will be able to replace our cash transactions.
-
That's a good point. We are still pretty far away from being a totally cashless society.

Bitcoin is the digital currency. Bitcoin is the king of all coins. Its name is Bitcoin. At the present time the bitcoin price has exceeded $50k. Of course, I would say that the future of Bitcoin is much better.
-
May be this will be possible in future when the bitcoin as well another top rated crypto currency get adopted in whole world such as look now bitcoin situation . Days going on and it start to get accepted on top rated company such as Tesla ,MicroStrategy and at the coming days it will it will increase more,

Then what do you call that then makes fiat money replaceable? I don't think so. Due to the regulations of many countries about the limits of Bitcoin, it will continue to be considered an asset and not a currency ...

Agree with you. It is very cool that such companies tend to use bitcoin and I think this is not the limit. Soon everyone will follow their example and bitcoin can become the world's digital cryptocurrency.
