It is possible that for such a situation fiat money would be used if the state had a rule to use it,It is possible that the real sector will be used if the real sector has a regulation that can be used, such as for developed countries where people often have indoor activities or digital transactions

Although it is too early to say, it seems that in the future it has already been revealed that cryptocurrency will replace Fiat Money in due course, but it is not clear if Bitcoin is the place to take Fiat.

I agree with you mate, It's impossible for bitcoin to replace fiat, not when bitcoin can't be used without you been connected to the internet, unlike cash that can be used for fast transaction in short distance, mainly bitcoin is only good when trying to send money to someone in another country, cause if it's within the same country banks can handle that seamless just by using a bank app, also the cost of transaction via bitcoin is really high unlike fiat bank charges insignificant amounts for any transaction.
Bitcoin will never replace fiat

In fact currently Bitcoin is widely used as a means of payment and replaces FIAT, but because there are still many countries that prohibit it, people do it secretly.  and I think someday Bitcoin will completely replace Fiat for payment instruments.

Of course, I believe bitcoin has potential to replace fiat cash at the coming future.. The future currency will replace fiat money. But Maybe government will have own crypto currency, and Bitcoin will exist be the King of crypto currency.

Maybe more precisely, not replacing, but rather adopting the technology. I think this could still be a positive value for the crypto world if it could happen, because as we all know if something happens or good news, it will automatically affect the price of bitcoin and altcoin.

Not only the introduction of blockchain technology, but also the partial use of cryptocurrency for government purposes is quite possible, especially if the government follows the trends of world leaders. But I'm sure that no government wants to lose its monopoly to completely replace national currencies with cryptocurrencies.

Agree, Government will keep their fiat cash and always keep it. Because we all know crypto currency cannot be controlled. I think government will create own crypto for their national currency at the future.

Bitcoin will never replace the national currency of states. This will not be allowed by the state, and Bitcoin and other decentralized cryptocurrencies are simply not capable of this.

States have already started issuing their own cryptocurrency based on their national currency, these are their digitalized central bank currencies, that is, their stablecoins. It is they, and not bitcoin or another decentralized cryptocurrency, who will partially displace paper money from circulation. Bitcoin cannot be related to this process, since by its nature it is not capable of it.
New types of digital money should not lead to the complete disappearance of paper money. All their types have the right to exist, they must complement each other with their special properties.

NO, because Currently BTC has very little purchasing power because it is not accepted by many merchants. This makes it impossible to convert its value as a currency. Its value must be converted to that of a widely-accepted currency like the US dollar to determine its purchasing power.

I think it will still be difficult. Moreover, people are also comfortable with fiat. It will be very difficult if you have to change the habit of going digital as a whole.

Re: Can BTC replace our fiat cash?
« Reply #119 on: February 15, 2021, 06:20:54 PM »
I think it will still be difficult. Moreover, people are also comfortable with fiat. It will be very difficult if you have to change the habit of going digital as a whole.

Yes, It would difficult. As you know when elon musk bought bitcoin and announced to accept bitcoin for Tesla payment, USA government against it. So, I think It will happen at all countries. I don't think crypto will replace fiat cash.
