Title: Has Bitcoin achieved it goals?
Post by: Domithra on June 07, 2018, 06:21:14 AM
Bitcoin has achieved a lot over the past years and deserves much credit for that yet has not reached it goal. Bitcoin is set to reach a global patronage where everyone will accept its usefulness in terms of payment method and adopt it in their businesses and transactions. Well, Bitcoin is still young as compared to the traditional fiat, hence there are still more rooms for developments.

Bitcoin has not reached its intended purpose. It was created in order to become an alternative to the current payment system. However, it is used very poorly as a means of payment.
With the advent of stablecoins, its chances of fulfilling its purpose are further diminished. This will be especially noticeable when the digitized currencies of the central banks of the states will appear en masse, which, apparently, will have good success as a means of payment. Under such circumstances, one should hardly expect widespread use of bitcoin as a means of payment.

even though bitcoin is still relatively young, it is very influential in today's technological developments, where many investors get huge profits from bitcoin investment as well as the ease of transactions in the world

Yes i also think so. From the beginning of civilization we using fiat currency so if you defect fiat currency by BTC we need more time. But we can say here BTC now more advanced in recent years as for globalization so no doubt that in very recent years BTC will be more applicable in every county.

thanks.

Bitcoin is still developing and so far Bitcoin has certainly not reached its goals, but when all countries will fully recognize Bitcoin, then Bitcoin will begin to develop at full capacity and then we will see all the possibilities of Bitcoin, but for now we can only wait.

Bitcoin has a lot to do in the future. The problem of uncertainty and scaling problems needs to be resolved as soon as possible, given the rapid growth in acceptance. The mass adoption of Bitcoin, and the industry should be preparing for that.

In the future, Bitcoin will play an important role in the economy of every country. Bitcoin transactions will start in every commercial organization. As a result, everyone will benefit. Users will be happy with this transaction. Because the cost of this transaction is very low. So I think the transaction will be much more popular. People will feel comfortable doing this transaction. Companies rely on Bitcoin.

Bitcoin has been able to achieve something this year compared to previous years. Bitcoin prices have risen much higher. Bitcoin is going to be valuable in the market. Because the number of Bitcoin users is much higher. People are increasingly attracted to Bitcoin. Because of this attraction people have started using bitcoin. We know that the higher the price, the higher. So bitcoin is valuable.

What goals do you mean here? The popularity or its function as electric cash (digital currency)? if you mean its popularity, then yes Bitcoin has been very popular and be one of the best investments so far. Many people already become Bitcoin investors, so its popularity is indeed achieved by Bitcoin. While for the function as digital money, I think it still doesn't achieve it.

It is true, we recommend that you use the available time to continue to develop yourself. So that bitcoin will become more valuable and more desirable. I am sure if bitcoin is able to attract the hearts of the government, it will be very easy for this bitcoin to become legal and applied in business transactions and others.

Bitcoin was not created to simply be popular.  The main and main purpose of bitcoin is to be a means of payment that would be a good alternative to the current payment system, which was created by states.  Unfortunately, bitcoin never achieved this main goal.  Bitcoin is rarely used as a means of payment.  Bitcoin is now mainly used as a means of speculation and profit by raising its price and as a store of value.  This is not his purpose at all.  Such use of it can lead to a dead end in the future and lead to the fact that it really becomes just a financial pyramid.

The goal of Bitcoin is actually to be a decentralized system of currency, used by worldwide payment methods, and also will be here outside of the regulation boards. However right now, Bitcoin may not be fully decentralized, there is still a rule related to the exchanges and also its legality in some countries. But of course, Bitcoin has been accepted in many countries by many people around the world.

Bitcoin need to do something unique to totally eradicate traditional assets, it needs to reduce its volatility after achieving a healthier growth. Its so annoying seen bitcoin collapsed from $19k to $16k in just an hour. It's not representing it's purpose yet but with time, it can do more just as you have said that there is room for development.

While Bitcoin's current goal is a store of value as well as a payment system, there is nothing to say that Bitcoin could not be used in such a way in the future, though consensus would need to be reached to add these systems to Bitcoin.
Bitcoin is a digital asset and payment system with a market capitalization of around $180 billion as of September 2019. It is considered by many to be one of the most successful digital currencies ever created.

It is very difficult indeed to make Bitcoin fully become a global currency which in general will be used by the community for payment instruments such as the current FIAT currency. The first obstacle in my opinion is the value of Bitcoin which changes very quickly or fluctuates. This will make some people confused about the price of the goods they will buy and sell with Bitcoin. Let's wait, until when Bitcoin can reach its goal, And while waiting let's take advantage of investing and trading Bitcoin.

Indeed bitcoin has come a long way since 2009 when it was created, it has succeeded in breaking so many barriers like transferring money from one part of the world to another part instantly without waiting 2-3days,but as you said bitcoin hasn't achieved its main goal which is to become a global currency, adopted and used by everyone around the world, although adoption is taking place, but it's quite slow, since it's a decentralized currency no government wants it  citizens to use bitcoin within their country, that's why it is prohibited in some places, the future is uncertain, maybe the government might accept it later, but I believe in a few years from now, bitcoin will definitely achieve its main goal.

No, bitcoin did not achieve its goal.  It was created as an alternative means of payment to the current payment system.  Bitcoin is practically not used as a means of payment when buying goods and services.
Bitcoin was not created as a speculative vehicle for it to rise in value.  This is practically a dead end in development.  It can very easily lose its value in a matter of days or even hours.  This should not be forgotten.

This is no god if they are moving on it I will try using this as part of the use of Bitcoin as an investment, commodity, and also trading

Bitcoin is practically not used as a means of payment when buying goods and services.
No, bitcoin is made not only as a special means of payment but in general, goods and services can make payments using bitcoin, all activities now almost use an internet connection and as long as there is an internet there, he can use bitcoin to do anything.

Bitcoin was not created as a speculative vehicle for it to rise in value.  This is practically a dead end in development.  It can very easily lose its value in a matter of days or even hours.  This should not be forgotten.
Indeed, bitcoin is not for speculation, but unfortunately not a few people come here to speculate for instant profit.

In general, the goal of bitcoin has been achieved. quoted from the white paper:
A purely peer-to-peer version of electronic cash would allow online
payments to be sent directly from one party to another without going through a financial institution.

although in the end bitcoin became a tradable asset. I think it's not a problem because it's very helpful for the user.

Bitcoin has experienced such rapid development. Little by little, finally some countries accept Bitcoin. And also Bitcoin is starting to be implemented as an official payment at several international restaurants or shopping centers. And this shows that Bitcoin means that it will soon be able to achieve that goal.

I think there is no doubt that Bitcoin is moving in the right direction towards its goal. Since its inception in 2009, it has come a long way. It is an internationally recognized, popular and accepted digital currency. Already many countries around the world have adopted Bitcoin, with Fiat currency being used in their country as well. Many international financial institutions, businesses, educational institutions have adopted it. Hopefully very soon Bitcoin will be accepted by all countries in the world and will be established as an alternative to Fiat currency.

Well, Bitcoin is still young as compared to the traditional fiat, hence there are still more rooms for developments.

And Bitcoin transactions are done in many ways, mainly in the countries where Bitcoin is in circulation, there are different types of commercial transactions through Bitcoin. Bitcoin was not created to have a very high price tag. This is not his goal. It was created as a simple and secure means of payment without any intermediaries and as an alternative to the current payment system. Bitcoin never achieved this main goal. Bitcoin is still relatively rarely used as a means of payment.

Bitcoin was not created to have a high price tag. First of all, it was created in order to become a good alternative to the existing payment system. Bitcoin has not yet completed this main task. It is still very little used as a means of payment and I already very much doubt that the situation in this regard will change for the better. But you also have to know, if the trend is bearish bitcoin will also be dumped. So in my opinion pumped up and dumped can't be the standard if bitcoin reaches the goal. because the goal of bitcoin is not a rising price but mass adoption.

I think Bitcoin has yet to reach its goals. And indeed this goal is viewed from what angle. because each person will also have their own goals against Bitcoin.

Different goals each person will make Bitcoin will continue to grow in the future without you can confirm the highest price of what you are right now.
Bitcoin's main goal has never been to get it high price. Its main goal during its creation was to become an alternative means of payment for the currently existing payment system. Bitcoin has not yet reached this goal. It is possible that it will not achieve due to low scalability and high transaction fees.

Yes I think so.  Bitcoin is just more than a decade and its progress around the world is superb and I think it is undeniable and easy to perceive that there is more from it that will surprise us. Hope before that day I already have my own bitcoin.

I am beginning to realize that the higher the price of Bitcoin, the further away from me the opportunity to get my own Bitcoin in my wallet. Of course, I try to invest, whenever possible, those funds that do not greatly burden my home budget, but nevertheless, even one Bitcoin today is a lot.

I think if the bitcoin team does not resolve the issue of large transaction fees in the near future, then bitcoin will remain for most people as a means to invest. Only very rich companies and people will be able to use it as a means of payment.

I think bitcoin has already squeezed out almost everything on this bullrun, soon there will be no news on which it will grow, the last weeks of the crypto-hype, we are waiting for the alt season, it's up to the alts! Although the goal of 50,000 is not far off, maybe it can!

Bitcoin was created as a payment alternative that is easy to do and Bitcoin was born as a digital cryptocurrency that has many advantages when compared to Fiat currency. But in reality, there are many governments who fight and even prohibit the use of Bitcoin in their country. I don't think Bitcoin has fully achieved its goals, but over time it will certainly be achieved.

Has Bitcoin achieved it goals?

In general yes, many people have used Bitcoin for investments or transactions, but institutions and governments often reject Bitcoin payment transactions, they are only interested in the technology developed by Satoshi Nakamoto and making stablecoins of their choice, I am happy to be able to use Bitcoin to buy coins other or buy a hardware wallet.

actually, to date, Bitcoin has not yet revealed its potential and I hope even more results in the coming years. many analysts predict that Bitcoin will rise in price very strongly and, thanks to large capital, will stabilize in price, which will make it very profitable for daily use as a means of payment.
