Hi! I'm from bitcointalk and I'm so happy to discover this forum. How many of you here in this forum from there and how you compare altcoinstalk?

Am not on BTT but a friend of mine who introduced me to cryptocurrency told me that this is how bitcointalk started but today is the controller of all cryptocurrencies so I believe with time this forum will excel greatly then we will enjoy it benefits as the pioneers.

I enjoy talking more here, but thats not a knock on BCT... the system is incredibly grindy for new members but once you make it, its a great opportunity.. here you get early adoption bonus, which means ranking is easier and you can enjoy the rewards easier with less grinding effort.

The website, his colours are more nice than BTT.
The atmosphere is better and people are very good here.
It's a real pleasure to talk here.
And no matter what our rank, we can all express ourselves the same way without being judged.
On BTT, there's an impassable barrier because of merit and it's really unfair !

I wouldn't say its impassible but it certainly will affect how you post and it becomes a lot less organic.. you end up just talking at people instead of with them, and trying to frame how you sound and look based off of what people think... its a bit unhealthy but as long as you follow the psychology of it all, I don't think impassible is a fair word.

This new forum is absolutely great and i believed that if soon the family become really big it will need new policies and rules to be created in order to maintain the good quality of this forum as necessary. This is what happen during early days of BTT that after the years have past the policy become more strict and difficult for the members because some are abusing the forum for their own agenda.

What I only like in bitcointalk is alot of experience members are there and the conversation is full of information though there are shitposters. Aside from it, I see nothing more than this, because the many from the DTs there are unfair. The system is fair but it is delever unfair.
Here, you can see how the community is nice and the admin is working hard. This forum is generous and if you will think the future,you will see how it will become great.

Altcoinstalks is on the process to be more popular than btt, if possible all altcoins will be list in this forum. Here, we are all implemented not to be harsh but to be friendly and helpful to anyone who need helps.

Almost all the members here in this forum are the same as you are. We are from bitcointalk too. But we choose to be here because this forum is way better than other forums.

most of us here are from bitcointalk we migrated because of the merit system, you see a user having more than 200 activities and still stuck in Junior member position so sad.

I feel good in here than in btt and in just few months the forum has easily growing and I'm hoping I can contribute here and gain knowledge in this forum.

I really like bitcointalk as well, I'm trying to use both honestly. But it's difficult getting merit on there, and it's holding my rank back by two tiers now. People make such garbage posts and get merit every day there, and it's really disheartening to participate once you see how broken the system is. Here is different, but it also leads to other problems. I prefer this but I think there is some merit to how bitcointalk runs, I just wish it wasn't so difficult to rank up.

I'm using both, even if in last period I don't like bitcointalk because there is really a lots of spam and unuseful posts made by bots or people only to do activities for signature bounties...

sad to says that i migrated from bitcoin to here the atmosphere is different like family friendly compared to previous were i belong, i thinks rules implement not to be harsh but friendly it's not difficult to rank up ,so i'm thankful to be a member of this forum altcoinstalks

BTT is a very educative forum but ranking up requires effort to upgrade your knowledge and share with others. This forum does not need you to acquire merits before you rank up so you can do your best to rank up before the rules come in.

The good thing here in altcoinstalk is we don't need to wait for 30 minutes post interval which is time consuming of waiting.

I also have an account on bitcointalk. I have been a junior member for half a year without ranking up. Its so disheartening.

I am on btt and at times I am scared to make a post there because of fear of being banned. It is also quiet difficult to rank up due to the merit system, but is not so strict in here, you can rank up if you are active on the forum.

I'm from bitcointalk too . And as I compared the two , I more comfortable here . It's so hard to rank up there . You have to be knowledgeable enough to have recognition. I just discovered Bitcoin just few months ago that's why I have to catch up a lot to do. And it's a big disadvantage for me.

Yeah, if you sign up just now, if you won't kiss some legendary ass, you won't pass jr. member. Also trusted members doing every shady activity but if you do a little suspicious thing (like giving merit for a ok post) they may tag you.
I hope here won't end up being bitcointalk v2 after getting more popular.

Yeah, the grind is just horrid now.. I kind of understand it at least to a certain degree, but all the elitism and attitude surrounding it could be far less. Merit farming is probably the worst part, you end up with 50 people talking at the person who started a thread and no real conversations.. then it becomes a race to get to first page on topics, etc. I'd like to read stuff where the 38th page is just as memorable as the first 10 comments, and be rewarded the same.

Bitcoin is not so good at this time because there are so many things to fix such as too many scams and more unfriendly members. While altcoins now is on the process to move forward. Forward ever and backward never. Long live to altcoins.

''big'' members just saying that is for a beeter comunity and etc...And at same way selling merits for money, people cant get even member status, so its means that signature bounty campaigns is very low paid... No-one like bitcointalk anymore instead of already become legendary or hero.
You need merit to level up and you can gain it only buy kissing ass some legendary accounts on meta account.

I am from btt and I like that in this forum, I can read most of the replies of the people because in btt, there are just so much replies that I can't just read it all since there are hundreds of pages in some threads. It's a breath of fresh air being here in the forum wherein there are no merit requirements just to rank up but of course, we should share our ideas as much as we can.

that's my reason too, merit system.. and i think we need more forum for promoting and discussion new project, and i hope on this forum will protect all user from scam project by moderating ANN thread of new project by the team of "audit", yes i mean, i suggest to founder of this forum to create "AUDIT TEAM"

minor mistakes are not supposed to be punished directly, it's good if members make small mistakes it would be better to be warned first

the truth is that between bitcoin and altcoin in the same sense there is no difference, namely as a digital currency. what needs to be noted here is currency, so as a digital currency (cyberspace) bitcoin has certain values that make it possible to be used as payment instruments (but to be legitimate, not many countries have admitted because of decentralized systems and blockchain technology maybe the difference is if bitcoin is the first digital currency and the altcoin is used as an alternative coin besides bitcoin as a digital currency.

I am blessed to fine thread like altcoinstalk, and yes i'm from btt also just like the others, i see bright future on altcoinstalk and in me, as of now altcoinstalk is not strict like btt in terms of post and the ranking system is very nice, no merit or karma required thats makes us gain higher rank.

It's really with big difference because my rank in bitcointalk before is just a junior member and now become newbie again and comparing my rank in altcoinstalk is really amazing because my rank here will have the chance to rank-up until to a legendary member if the number of post required is achieve.

The difference between Bitcointalk and Altcointalk is actually not much different. The only difference is the forum Admin and the number of users.

And the latest news about JR members, many are down to the Newbie rank.
this is the reason I moved to this forum. Because this is very different here. This forum provides a way for those who want to know more insight.

Most of this forum member were migrated from BTT.
And yes, major reason is Merit system in BTT forum. Maybe to get only one Merit you should be doing reasearch deeply before you post it and using excellent writting technique as student collage task ;D

At BTT, I am a Member ranked but I don't like the way heroes and legends there fuck up with their merits. Furthermore, the failure of merit is that it is mostly given to those topics or comments flattering about merit. How ridiculous! That way, it's impossible for me and other thousand members to reach higher ranks.

That 1 hundred activities are purely bounty reports or meaningless comments, I guess. That situtation will happen at ALTT one day and I hope same method like merit won't have to be proposed here.

Same case for me and post of the people are from bitcointalk because this is a newer from than bitcointalk. As it is difficult to get merit at BTT people join here to increse their rank easily and first.

Bitcointalk is no more favorable for new users who wants to participate in bounty hunting and here is more friendly and easy to rank up fast... I believe before ending of 2019 this great platform will be gain more ground than bitcointalk.

This Altcointalk forum was created for alternative forums as well as on Bitcointalk. So in my opinion Altcointalk is still not as big as Bitcointalk at this time. In terms of existing users and Projects, Bitcointalk still tends to be more than current Altcointalk. So that's a comparison that I can explain to you.

Altcointalk is a forum used by crypto users to get information and make decisions and earn income. It's the same as Bitcointalk, but the difference is only in terms of my users and the costs used. I think the highest cost used is Bitcointalk rather than Altcointalk.

Altcointalk is a good forum like Bitcointalk that you have followed. But the budget here is not as big as Bitcointalk that you follow. Because this forum can be called an alternative forum from the Bitcointalk forum. So in terms of its users, Altcointalk is still outnumbered with Bitcointalk.

Bitcoin is such a wider, deeper, well known and much record of scams projects. Altcoinstalks seems improving what bitcoin missed in all aspects if possible in a short period of time.

Yes, i believe also that it is nicer here. As bitcointalk now has new rules that many former junior members demoted. It's a sad thing.

Hy, in my opinion, most of the members in this forum are members in forums that discuss other cryptocurrency such as bitcointalk. I can't compare between forums, because the knowledge i got was different and equally useful to me. I prefer to assume that the forum altcoinstalks is the latest forum innovation and more about the movement and issues of altcoin.

Hello. Welcome to this Altcointalk forum. This forum in my opinion is not much different from your previous forum, Bitcointalk. Here also the person is friendly and ready to help provide information that you want to know here. You have to obey the rules in this forum, but calm down, Altcointalk rules are not as strict as Bitcointalk and you will be able to adjust later.

I also do that man. In here I feel confident without stressed by rank. Cause in there I am still low rank eventhought I made quality post, active, and Merit still zero.

Same story mate. It is quite exciting to get involved in both forums now. This one is fresh and i can see that organisation is good with stable restricted rules here. Competitions is more likely also interesting. Good copy of bttc and deeponion.

So welcome to new atmosphere here, fresh air, kindly friends and so on. You can write what is in opinion freely without falling in doubt to get deleted your posts, but keep the rules.

I am also one of those coming from btt and i am very happy that in Altcoinstalks i was able to move my rank up unlike in bitcoin that our ranks is not moving if we don't have merit.

The point all is the same BTT or Altcoin, all of them provide learning to all of us to get to know more about cryptocurrency.
Maybe in the Altcoins forum, the family system is thicker without differentiating newbie or senior, all the same.
Wherever we are, respect the rules and regulations. Because that will drive us towards success

With the new development in the bitcoinalk forum. New members have little chance to rank up on the forum. Eventually new members will stop registering on the forum.

There have been many people like that. So they moved from the Bitcointalk forum to Altcointalk. Or there are also people who have both. But I think the difference between the two numbers is interesting. If you pay attention, Bitcointalk is too strict in its regulations, but the users are already a lot. I think most people here also have account with btt and they are very similar fora in the sense that they both seek to promote crypto currencies, provide a channel that links like minds and provide an avenue for bounty hunters to meet beautiful projects to partake in but i do think that this platform is superior in my opinion. Obviously, it is not superior in terms of popularity or number of members but its surely has a more human face at least compared to BTT where anyone can be banned for a trivial mistake, limited to rise through the rank for no faulth of yours but simply because you couldnt get enough merits to rise and last but not the least, there is an in house token here which kindda awards your activity which makes it a win-win

A lot of people from bitcointalk (including me )decide to join the altcoinstalk forum from the same reason.And here the rules is not so exigent like on the BTT forum.

BTT is somehow more strict than ALTT so being in here us a privuledge for me. A lot of thanks to the Admin and all the other makers of this forum. I hope that this forum will notbend just what BTT has too before. I expect more knowledge to contain in this forum.
