I'm from bitcointalk too . And as I compared the two , I more comfortable here . It's so hard to rank up there . You have to be knowledgeable enough to have recognition. I just discovered Bitcoin just few months ago that's why I have  to catch up a lot to do. And it's a big disadvantage for me.

Yeah, if you sign up just now, if you won't kiss some legendary ass, you won't pass jr. member. Also trusted members doing every shady activity but if you do a little suspicious thing (like giving merit for a ok post) they may tag you.

I hope here won't end up being bitcointalk v2 after getting more popular.

Am from Btt as well...it was my start into the crypto world but being a junior member for so long regardless of the work i put in can be tiring. Especially when people now lobby for merits and all that. I do hope this forum doesnt ever get to that point. Am happy being here right now and the rules are very transparent.

Yeah, the grind is just horrid now.. I kind of understand it at least to a certain degree, but all the elitism and attitude surrounding it could be far less.  Merit farming is probably the worst part, you end up with 50 people talking at the person who started a thread and no real conversations.. then it becomes a race to get to first page on topics, etc.  I'd like to read stuff where the 38th page is just as memorable as the first 10 comments, and be rewarded the same.

Bitcoin is not so good at this time because there are so many things to fix such as too many scams and more unfriendly members. While altcoins now is on the process to move forward. Forward ever and backward never. Long live to altcoins.

I'm on BTT too...But i dont like it there, specially these merits..its terrible. ''big'' members just saying that is for a beeter comunity and etc...And at same way selling merits for money, people cant get even member status, so its means that signature bounty campaigns is very low paid... I hope so this forum will be even bigger and much better!!!!!

No-one like bitcointalk anymore instead of already become legendary or hero.

You need merit to level up and you can gain it only buy kissing ass some legendary accounts on meta account.
