Title: Many scam sites during the bull market
Post by: owmivmen on January 02, 2024, 07:08:26 AM
When entering a bullish market, many sites in the name of a project such as an airdrop claim require interaction on their website. Like most cases of hacks on Discord which often occur and provide announcements regarding projects that will distribute coins to users. If you find this, it's better to be careful while interacting on the website. I installed the extension to avoid bad things and secure my assets such as https://www.pocketuniverse.app/ . This extension gives me information when I make a transaction and provides warnings when the transaction is dangerous.

This is certainly good information, is very helpful, and clearly needs to be taken into account by those who participate in every project that they participate in. It is indeed not easy to avoid things related to fraud because nowadays it has become a trend in itself, and there will always be those looking for opportunities to make profits easily through fraud, because usually every participant in a project is sometimes easily fooled because they feel that what they are being told is true. from the project he participated in without looking for accurate information first, because he felt happy.
Hopefully, things like this will continue to be informed so that they can be used as education to avoid many people becoming victims of fraud.

I think everyone should bookmark important websites like CEX or DEX for convenient and safe use. Google search results can be a fraudulent website, limit the risk by avoiding account interaction with websites of new projects. Users can also create an account, where they store some crypto to experience Web3 applications. The majority of assets should be stored in 1 root account and never interact with DEX or websites.

I only use Uni, Pancake and DefiBox and never connect my wallet to other websites. I have no experience or interest in high-risk Dapps  8)

This is true, a lot of people are desperate and they tend to believe any news they see online. They fail to understand that not all news is true on the internet, they are some who are trying to take advantage of people in possible way they can. This scammers try as much of possible to better their tricks as time progresses, they know that people will become desperate so as to prepare for the next bull market coming up. With that they make fake airdrops for people to participate. Some of this airdrops and links may be a threat to our wallet, we should try and be careful when participating in this giveaways. Remember nothing comes easy it’s either you work hard for it or you buy your way to get it.
We should give in to this scams, best way is to DYOR ( Do your own research) before you venture in any things at all be its airdrops and even signing up for new exchangers. The world is a jungle, it’s either you eat or you're being eaten.

Many are taking advantage of cryptocurrency enthusiasts and trying to create websites that can connect the wallet you have. After that, the website owner has the potential to get a connected wallet, and without you realizing it, they have access to seize all the assets you have from the wallet you use. Sometimes people who are still laypeople are easy to attack because of their carelessness.

Its expected. As the market profits and people pile in and increase the market capitalization, the industry grows, and as the attraction of more investors, also more malicious characters are attracted. And that Incluses scam sites, scam projects, phishing sites, exit scams, hackers, fake admins, dusters, wallet drainers and just about any criminals out there that loves the cyberspace. So beware, mate

The increasing number of existing projects means that many scam cases are currently occurring. Most of them don't care about the health of their wallet. This needs to be taken into consideration when users connect to a website and always be careful

Fake websites are often found, especially on Twitter. But for DEX/CEX websites, I always bookmark them to avoid these fake websites. You need to try this method to avoid errors when you visit the site

During the bullish market there will be a huge expansion of such events, moreover most of the projects will practice airdrop to implement the scam. At first they will promise you a lot of money but later show hostile obstruction even many projects suddenly become inactive and you can't contact them further even if you want. A good project will not commit much to sell tokens and they may only pay some money to holders.

that's right, as well as we have to be careful about new projects that they launch airdrops so that the project is famous and many people will join them but from all that they will benefit from this situation by manipulating it with convincing promises... I just hearing the application you said can protect our assets from danger, but we can try your suggestion, hopefully what you say is true.

Bookmarking the website is the best thing to do. If possible, double or even triple-check the website, and always beware whenever you connect your wallet especially when it's a new project. I guess researching, and going in their official social media pages would be helpful as well.

OP said airdrops, and I've seen some projects that are saying that they will launch their airdrop, giving tasks to investors like bridge an altcoin, or interact with the website etc. but in the end, they will just scam investors. Just a few days ago, I saw this project called "FAIRSWAP" that turned out to be a scam based on the "ZKfair Community" Twitter page.

Right now when the bull run is near, many scammers arise, trying to scam those newbie, and ignorant investors who are very excited to invest their money without doing any kind of research. Be vigilant especially for newbies out there. Always check the websites so that you can distinguish which are scam websites and which are not.

At least there is a way to avoid that. I always avoid connecting my wallet to sites that I think are suspicious before I find out whether the site is safe or not. Unfortunately, many people don't understand the dangers of visiting and connecting their wallets to fake sites.

Yes, I found many cases on Twitter. They don't realize that when they connect their wallet on the site and make transactions, the transactions they make actually have an impact on their wallet, such as losing assets in their wallet.

Those scame projects or airdrops can only find victims in those, who are very inexperienced in the cryptospace. Normally, during the Bull Run, so many Altcoins-Projekte emerge, and they can only last until the Bull Pump is on. After the Bull Market, those Projects will just die off and some Investors will really be at great Loss. If a crypto-enthusiast is very careful, there are some scam-sites that they can easily detect without any further verification.

While it is the best season of the market, it is also going to be one of the most important seasons to most of the newbies. And that is because many of them might get discouraged when they become a victim of these scams. Too many scam tactics are everywhere and they need to be aware of their existence. Most of the victims are blaming that the ecosystem of crypto is like this and circulating in scams just because they've been careless, they are blaming the market for their misfortune.

When the market is moving, scammers start to move simultaneously. Some of them use tricks that are known to everyone and naturally fail. However, some of them use really new and dangerous tricks and even experienced people fall into their traps. No matter how experienced we are in this market, we should always be very careful. Otherwise, we can lose all our assets in an instant.

Thank you for introducing Pocket Universe to us. I will give it a try when I have time...

Scammers know there is a big hype during the bull market, that makes them easier to deceive people. They may use the common tricks or new tricks, they have varied ways to scam people. People who are careless and not experienced enough, can have the chance to scam. But if we never buy new coins and not easily trust to developers, we can avoid the scams. So, we must be always careful and not easily investing in random coins.

Yes, scammers always know how to take advantage of bullish times, where people compete to invest and see opportunities, they think they will succeed in making big profits but they are not careful.

I suggest that if you lack knowledge, don't invest carelessly.  Lots of scammers there.
It's best to buy top coins on a reputable exchange, this is safer than being fooled by scammers.
Bullish season is always used by scammers to commit fraud.

Usually, scams in the field of cryptocurrency only involve phishing so that hackers can get in, so most of the time we have to be cautious to avoid phishing link issues. Now, when it comes to extension wallets, we should still do your research first because we are also the poor ones in the end.

Find out about legitimate extension wallets, like Metamask and Phantom. So far, these two are okay, in my opinion, because I haven't seen any problems in the times I've used them.

The security of a wallet is not entirely due to the wallet you installed. So far, many Metamask and Phantom wallets have become victims of hacking. Usually,  this happens because they may have participated in an airdrop that made them connect their personal wallet to a site that requires approval on Metamask. Without realizing it, you are giving hackers access to your wallet, which will result in your wallet being drained by the hacker without your knowledge.

Indeed, we must really be able to increase self-awareness on this security system, on avoiding any suspicious sites or scams.
because after all, we know that scammers or hackers never stop working and they will continue to exist. In fact, this doesn't only happen during bullish times, but in almost all eras, things like that have definitely existed. It just depends on our awareness to avoid such things. Because after all, they have lots of ways to trick their victims.

Oh yes, especially now Google has also allowed Bitcoin-related advertisements since the Bitcoin Spot ETF approval. So, this could be a way for scammers to increase their activity on Google as well.
https://cryptopotato.com/big-deal-for-bitcoin-google-updates-policies-to-allow-specific-crypto-ads/

So, once again we have to remain more vigilant to avoid the various possibilities that exist. Watch out everyone, they are watching us..

Your advice might encourage people who are new to cryptocurrency to learn more so that they are not fooled by people who try to make them lose money. At least these new traders should join several forums, news sites, and perhaps telegram groups to find out information about cryptocurrency so that they are not fooled easily.

Bullish season is always used by scammers to commit fraud.
Irresponsible people, when they get an opportunity by cheating or cunning, are always there and look for other people's mistakes.
Instead of telling other people's mistakes, they instead create something called Viruses, Malware and various websites that are embedded with phishing tools.
The higher the price of cryptocurrency, the more people are interested in cryptocurrency to make a profit and the more scammers there are who are looking for profit by creating strange and dangerous websites.

I am seeing 2024 as a "bullish" year for cryptocurrency so we can expect more projects mushrooming here and there...including of course many ways scammers, hackers and fraudsters are plying their wares to attract more victims as they are hoping for. And mind you, it is not actually just the newbies that could be victims but even people who have been in this industry for years and it is because scammers/hackers/fraudsters are getting very sophisticated with the use of their creativity and the technology. So we should be careful and must be aware how these evil people are using strategies to get us...and certainly some technology can be of big help notably to warn us of red flags that can be hidden from our prying eyes. Thanks a lot for sharing this app and I already added it to my Chrome browser. These days, we need all the protection that we can get especially if free.

That's right, unfortunately, the downside of the freedom that bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies give us is anonymity, which is what various scammers use. You have heard that many fake Neurolink tokens have recently been created, after Elon Musk successfully sponsored the implantation of a chip into the brain of a living person. These scam tokens have grown 10 times, but how did people think of buying it when Elon did not officially issue any tokens? Fools.

We might get pressured by the FOMO thing or the trend so we have to be aware of these kind of modus so we won't end up as victims. Bookmarking legit websites is the best way for us to prevent getting scammed by these scammers through creating fake websites.

I'll just share my experience about airdrops. I'm eligible for a DYM (Dymension) airdrop and a few hours before they release the website where we can see the updated number of tokens that we will be getting, I saw a Twitter page link that puts me on their website. I went through it, but I noticed that it wasn't bookmarked. I bookmarked the legit website weeks ago, and just because of that, I already know that I'm on a fake website created by these scammers.

Bookmarking isn't that hard to do, but it's a big help especially since we are in a space where everything can be faked. Always be vigilant, always aware, and always bookmark. :P

I just heard that there is a wallet like you said, when someone else accesses your wallet address, there is information and a warning to your wallet that there is external access that has entered without us knowing.
I think this is very good for storing our assets safely and having high security. My advice is that if you have problems as stated above, it is better for you to immediately install the application recommended above.

The fact is that many people are very careless and careless about the safety of their private keys and other data in order to keep their assets safe.  More than once I have heard people say that “this doesn’t concern me,” that “no one is interested in me.”  But a moment comes and a person loses something.  Or assets in a wallet or account.

In times like these, scammers indeed often prey on people. During a bullish market, many websites posing as projects or coin giveaways (Airdrops) require interaction on their platforms. This resembles the schemes seen on Discord hacks, where announcements about projects giving away coins to users are common. Based on personal experience, I remember almost falling for this trap. No one is immune to such situations, but it's crucial to remain vigilant.

This is effective and meaningful information you shared with us. Seriously, the information will help a lot of people here, as when the bull market arrived, any investors eyes were closed. All they needed at that time was profit and a slot of money, which is not the same, but during that period scammers used the opportunity to scam people by providing fake sites, as you just said, so if we install this, it will be very helpful for us.

In times of bull run, we see a lot of scam platforms, and because of the hype and the FOMO, many people will want to get their hands on whatever they can in the crypto market in order to enjoy the profit that the market offers.

We are going to see some scams like trading and enjoying bull run profit, bull run bonus, and all of that, but this kind of thing is just for those who are greedy and too lazy to do their own research to know how the market works. They are the ones that fall victim to such a scam.

I personally observed Scammers create fake websites that mimic legitimate cryptocurrency exchanges or wallets to trick users into providing their login credentials or private keys. So be careful guys before claiming airdrop /Login external links etc
It is real that there are many fake websites that are created to cheat and login with your own wallet seed phrase. In this case many users don't understand well so they easily login to fake website created by scammers with their wallet seed phrase, scammer team takes all access to their wallet and once seen everything goes to scammers. Participating in airdrop campaigns is not bad but you should not participate in airdrop campaigns with your own invested wallet while participating in airdrop campaigns.

The scammers always know how to take advantages from the hype of bullish season. People who join the hype may easily join the new projects created by scammers. People sometimes want to join the hype coins, they are curious how the price can increase thousands percentages. They don't know they are collecting shitcoins that only increase because of the hype. So the scammers are easy to play dump-pump and get as much as money from this.

It's a regular routine, more like a custom, that during the bull market, scam projects, giveaways, fake sites and fake investment schemes are usually inevitable. It also a bit funny, that those Scammers usually find victims, people never learn to escape totally from those Scammers, and people, who become victims, are usually newbies. This can only end if newbies begine to acquire a proper knowledge about crypto before joins the space.

The bull market is like a trap and also a period for those that knows what they are doing to achieve a lot while it's also a period of scammers flooding the crypto space looking for naive and ignorant people that are overshadowed by their greed to make quick money because that's the major cause of people getting trapped by scammers. The overwhelming expectation of the many profits that the bull markets brings makes it a whole easier for people to easily get scammed because of they will so many projects promising returns that are wildly impossible.

The fact is that many people are very careless and careless about the safety of their private keys and other data in order to keep their assets safe.  More than once I have heard people say that “this doesn’t concern me,” that “no one is interested in me.”  But a moment comes and a person loses something.  Or assets in a wallet or account.
I think there will be always people who are careless with their wallets. They may think the wallets are secure enough, but they don't understand that there are many factors that lead to the wrong way to use it. There are people who save the password or wallet data carelessly. And there are people who choose untrusted wallets for saving coins. This is natural, sometimes it can't be avoided.

And unfortunately this often happens. Because scammers understand when many people are in the crypto world and focus on investment. And at that time the scammers also realized that in this era there would be many newcomers arriving. And they are quite easy targets.

And regarding whether a platform or project is a scam or not, it must be analyzed more deeply. To avoid this, make sure we do our own research and it's better for us to just choose top coins rather than guessing.

When we enter a bull market most users are trying to scam and cheat. However, most of these frauds are encountered by new users who do not know much about the market and cryptocurrency. So we always have to invest carefully at that time so as not to lose our money and not to lose money and not be emotional later. Entering the bull season, many projects are created that are very attractive and if investors invest in them expecting more money, they later turn out to be scams. At that time the websites of the projects should be checked the most and the informative things should be analyzed only then the investment in a project can be profitable. Bull season is already more prone to fraud so always invest with caution and it is best to invest in bitcoin rather than altcoins.

Many new traders are often exposed to fraud, from those aimed at connecting the main wallet to fraud under the guise of investment. Many of them target traders who are still beginners and want to make a quick profit from cryptocurrency. So far, there have been many victims, and of course, sometimes there are also websites that offer a percentage of profits or long-term investments by making a deposit at the first transaction, and this method is often used by fraudsters.

I hope users will be more careful when making crypto transactions because scammers can occur anytime and anywhere. If necessary, increase wallet security and always be alert when visiting a new site and need a wallet connected to that site

This often happens when the market is bullish because many investors will invest when the market is bullish. It's just that new users must be able to differentiate between potential projects and projects that are just taking advantage of the bullish market

I thought about them, who would have the heart to make something that ended in a scam?
Token creation which ends in Dead Coin, web phishing in cryptocurrency, dusting attacks and various other hacks.
If they have expertise, why do they make something that is so detrimental to other people?
These are very strange people who find it easy to find other people's mistakes and steal their assets, especially now that the Bull Market is approaching.

My primary thought before the bull market is to keep accumulating potential crypto and keeping them safe in a private wallet. That wallet should only be used for storing and not for other purposes. If you want to attend some events such as giveaways or airdrops, in which they ask you to connect your wallet and ask for certain permission, it is better to avoid them.

But in case you really want to take part in them. create a new wallet and use that. If you need some crypto in it, you can deposit a small amount in that wallet to proceed. But never use your main wallet. This extension is good from my point of view but I would not fully trust something from a 3rd party service. My privacy is for me to protect.

agree with you,  If we want to take part in givee aways or airdrops we have to create new wallet. So easy to do it. don't use prime wallet which save your assets.  Many scams site during the bull market.  Scammers will take advantage of this moment to cheat

This is a good reminder OP. As we are getting close to the bull run, many scammers and hackers would be on the spree looking for who to take advantage of. Some do Airdrops just as you have said, some claim to be genuine and encouraging people to connect their wallets to their website so they could get their allocation of the airdrop but all these are just strategy to get at people to hack into their wallets and steal away their assets.

This is a call for alertness and consciousness of every one on Crypto space to be very careful on how they enteract with wallets and airdrop activities so they do not regret their actions or if they must do such, they should use fresh new wallet that has nothing stored in them.

Also I forgot to mention this earlier. If you have already given your access to certain websites or other things, consider moving your assets to a brand new wallet ASAP if that was your primary wallet. And if you have been scammed already with one of your wallets in your device, consider cleaning your device with proper antivirus services or try formatting the device for a fresh start. Something like trojan horse or other virus script could be in your device which could automatically take access to your wallets.

Re-install your OS and never try to do the same thing again. So you can stay safe this time.

Exactly. Awareness of the importance of our account security and how we secure our assets in our accounts will really depend on what we do. The security of the system may be quite good, but it turns out that we are accidentally or even deliberately tempted by phishing links to click, or by participating in various scam projects that initially have very tempting promises. because usually when it comes to new projects, they will really make investors believe that they are super legit projects, especially with the hype. But in fact, scammers are everywhere with various intrigues and traps carried out by scammers. Be careful always

I have checked and installed pocket universe extension, this is good extension that is also providing $2000 USD wallet coverage insured, you should also add other extension also walletguard.app (http://walletguard.app) this is also alarming when scam site detected.

It seems to have the same function as the one given by the OP. Anyway, thanks for this one, mate. As long as it helps, why not?

Phishing is now increasingly extreme and fraudsters use all kinds of means to trap their victims.
Especially through Email and Twitter, I get a lot of phishing emails because of my involvement with some airdrops and also many phishing websites spread on Twitter pretending to be accounts that look real using blue ticks.

Now on Twitter it is quite difficult for beginners to tell which is the real Twitter or the scammers because the scammers also have a blue tick with the same name but with a different username.

Phishing traps are also in the form of Dapps sites that provide information that the airdrop has been given and require them to connect wallets with the Dapps.
This is a frequent practice and many are already trapped. Be more vigilant and cautious

Of a truth scammers would go at any extent to convince investors to look into their scam project unknown to the investors the nature and ill intentions of the scammers. They do this just to make sure they get details for which they would act upon to carry out their nefarious act on their victims account. They are everywhere looking for who to prey on. So it would be nice every one be vigilant and avoid clicking links here and there to avoid hearing the story that touches the heart.

Thats actually how it's designed not everyone will be smart enough, some persons will fall victim and some will learn from the mistakes of others and that's why it is highly imperative that newbies take time and learn but most of them are always in a rush to actually be ahead of the system which somethings lead to their demise. In the case of scammers getting victims, it's not solely attributes to the fault of newbie not being attentive enough but sometimes its the new development and how updated these scammers make their scam projects to be.

Of a truth everyday newbie gets onboard the Crypto space and by so doing hackers are ready to take advantage of their ignorance to do away with their resources. Newbies who are not careful with their details always fall victim because of their carelessness and sometimes, curiousity makes them also become victims or targets of scammers. Like you have said about experience, mm OST people learn by experience irrespective of the fact that they must have read and acquired the basic knowledge of what they want, they still go ahead to see and test for themselves to so how the outcome would look like and ends up being scammed or getting their device hacked.

I have come to realise that most people truly learn by experience and not by just mere reading. They want to get the first hand experience of how something looks like, how it feels to do that something people are always running away from. While some people learn from others experience and follow up to avoid bitter or a regreful experience.

I believe those pop up are as a result of measures out in place by the third parties if by mistake anything goes south, they can be able to defend themselves that they sounded a warning to the account holder of the possibility of their enteraction being unsafe for them to continue with but if they feel it is safe they can continue so they would not be fined or penalised for not being professional. That is just why meta mask put up that features. Ordinarily, it would be ignored by users while carrying out a transaction so if anything happens, they would have nothing to hold against meta mask. Meta mask took such step to safe guard their name and business.

I particularly do like you, I don't take any special measures other than common sense and as I'm not greedy I haven't had any problems so far, although I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

To add to what you have said, Don Pedro Dinero, it's true that greed is one thing that can contribute to scam victims, but that's not the only thing. Lack of proper knowledge about Bitcoin investment and security measures can cause an individual to easily fall victim because they are new and don't really know everything about how scammers can be very deceitful. Sometimes too, newbies usually get the wrong information, which makes them unaware of the possible scam threats they could face in their cryptographic journey.

We have met such fraudulent companies or sites during the bull market before. If you recall back before 2021, ICOs were the most popular means to defraud investors. And now that the interactive airdrops are exploding, they are also being used to defraud us. Just like my friends, connecting your wallet puts all of your cash at danger if the site is a scam. That is why we must employ an alt wallet dedicated just to airdrops in order to avoid compromising all of your assets. However, I appreciate you sharing this information with us so that we can strengthen the security of our wallets.

People who want to make quick profits without knowledge and research are easy prey for scammers to carry out their actions to deceive them.  Fraud is not only 2017, 2021 and currently 2023. There will always be and many occur before the halving and bullish season.

In that you are absolutely right, we are people who are always at the forefront of things, scams will always exist Anyway , but that is something that can be avoided, if people enter these forums they will read, they will check what the perandi ways of them because they can be helped so that they do not fall, I also know that any doubt regarding these projects that is found must be raised and helped, this is only what we must see so that they can generate better things, improve answers and everything, I have always thought that things are like this and thank God we have the forums, so because of this you can get better detail and better things to be able to apply them, in fact the best help is always found in the forums.

That's why I give Importance to these forums, because in the end this is all about money , and that's All we have to see.

The problem is that when you participate in various testnets, warnings from, for example, metamask often pop up and at your own peril and risk you decide to ignore it or not.
I agree, although by and large this metamask is not particularly needed. Well, besides, everything develops and multiplies so quickly in crypt that you physically may not have time to update the database. That is why the same metamask asks that if you are convinced that the site is safe and we have marked it as potential threat, please let us know.

Of a truth there is always update and new development and sometimes these apps always demand for immediate update and when that is not done, you find out that other device online might detect it as potential risk because of it not being updated. So therefore I will assume some situations to be so while some are just for measures to safeguard themselves from any potential libel against them in the nearest future.

When you join many things, the risks will be higher because you may get the risk from many things. That's why I limit the number of testnets, I don't join too many testnets. I don't want to riskier my wallets or other things, it will be too risky for our main assets. I think we must avoid to join too many varied testnets.

To be honest, in the crypto world I focus more on holding and trading.  Participate in signature campaign is another activity in my spare time.  Airdrop and testnet, I didn't participate there.  Several time participate in testnet bit not worth it.  Maybe I'm unlucky.

I don't see anything wrong with joining a bunch of testnets as long as you know what you are entering with.

I mean I'm doing a bunch of testnets (free testnets) just this year, and luckily I didn't encounter any problems on it, aside from the fact that I might not get paid by joining on these testnets. I mean I tried Berachain, and some other more, but the risk of not getting paid is still high since it's up to the developers if they will be paying those who joined the testnet. Still, having a bit of knowledge about a certain thing would help you.

What I'm doing is that, my main Metamask account is separate from my metamask account that I'm using with testnets. That way, it mitigates my risk of losing my assets.

This problem can be easily solved and save yourself from losing potential profits. No one forbids you to create a new working wallet, deposit a small amount there and connect it to anything.

everything will be fine, doing a number of testnets, I think, if we use a special testnet wallet, maybe, like the devs will definitely say in the forum, it's better to use a new wallet, not the main one, so there's nothing wrong as long as we can control our main wallet.

Right now many testnet launching every day and agreed with your recommended always use new wallet or special wallet for testnet. Don't linked your main wallet for joining testnet exactly needed approving and sign message to make easily when getting scam testnet site all fund in our wallet have been linked will hack.
I create new wallet every day for every testnet I joined, use difference wallet to protect if some time get scam testnet site and not losses with my balance before if any testnet joined get profitable.

According to the topic at that period a lot of people want to sell  their bitcoin or altcoins so fake vendors will come up to deceive sellers so at that time I will also advise people to sell their coins in the platform ls that are more popular and not the new ones. Please avoid individual and new exchanges in the bull market.

We recommend selling bitcoin and altcoin at reputable exchanges such as Binance, Kucoin, Lbank etc.  Don't do individual transactions.  They will offer the high price, but be careful.  There are many scammers there

agreed, reputable exchange is safer than new exchange which offers many conveniences and rewards there.  We don't know whether this exchange will last until Japan, whether it will be a scam or not, who is the team behind their project.

Simply use a Local exchange to easily make sales or a Tier 1 Exchange like Binance so you don't get confused to start selling.
Here the concern is not where you sell although in some Exchange bars, what is more dangerous is the Phishing Link disguised as the top Exchange.

There are a lot of emails I get from scammers to get into the top Exchanges, even though they are phishing links.
As well as some links embedded on social media or from unknown people.
Because during this bull market, many scamming methods are done to trap early users or old crypto users, so you have to be more vigilant.

Scammers influence the market massively when the market is in a good position. At that moment chances of getting affected by various scam sites and phishing links increase exponentially. And to get rid of this situation I think it is necessary to exercise your own caution as well as your suggestion that buying and selling should not be done without popular sites which I fully agree. Normally new sites have various problems especially scammers make their traps on those sites. I constantly get some junk mails from scammers which I always ignore. I am relatively safe if it is a reputable or known site.

         -   I think the risk percentage depends on the amount of capital we will use or allocate to an investment, so it really depends on how we deal with it as investors. The more that the trend becomes hot, as if there is an upcoming bull run, it's no wonder that scammers really take advantage of that.

So the only thing we can really do is be wise in our choices and also be careful with the coins and tokens we invest. That's why we will always remember that the wise will overcome the cunning and exploitative.
