Title: If you were Satoshi Nakamoto, what would you do?
Post by: KryptoBull on February 05, 2024, 09:06:46 PM
Satoshi Nakamoto is a famous figure in the crypto market, and perhaps worldwide at the moment, because he created Bitcoin - the first crypto and opened the blockchain & crypto era. There have been many searches for Satoshi's true identity but no one has been successful. There is someone claiming to be Satoshi Nakamoto but cannot prove it when he cannot move BTC from Satoshi Nakamoto's address[1].

For many people, Satoshi's anonymity is one of the most important assets of the Bitcoin blockchain because it keeps Bitcoin from being an asset managed by any individual[2]. However, today I think of a case when Satoshi Nakamoto reappeared and made the crypto community vibrant again in many ways: discuss on crypto forums, move a few satoshis from his address, send a message to the crypto community via Inscription...

If I were Satoshi Nakamoto, I would probably send the entire 1M BTC to charities around the world. I would not dare to appear and have my identity revealed for fear of endangering my life. Bitcoin has succeeded beyond all initial expectations  ;D

I have some questions for everyone: If you were Satoshi Nakamoto, what would you do?

From the look of things it seems like you made your questions based on the assumption that the entity “Satoshi Nakamoto” is a person and not an organization.

I have some questions for everyone: If you were Satoshi Nakamoto, what would you do?
  • Would you dare to appear in public?

After hiding for so long, what do I still need to reveal myself for? Personally, my answer would be “No” but you never can tell what conditions you might be placed under.

Quote
  • Would you move 1M BTC and sell for USD?

Here again we’re assuming that satoshi nakamoto is an individual - so it’s most likely that I’ll move it, if I’m willing to go against my answer to number one question.

Quote
  • Would you participate in the development and upgrade process of Bitcoin blockchain?

Again, if I’m willing to compromise my privacy I might contribute in the development of bitcoin if not I’ll just leave it to the current devs…

Quote
  • Would you agree to accept the invitation to El Salvador?

Depends on my answer to question one.

Quote
  • Wouldl you continue to stay anonymous and observe the development of Bitcoin?

Seems, more convenient to me. And since the government are seriously against bitcoin you ever can tell what they’ll do to me - and they can use my arrest as a means to spread fud around.

Quote
  • Would you reveal this secret to your children before you die?

Still on the assumption that I’m married and have kids - I’ll personally not want to bother my kids about something like that. I might encourage them to have interest in it but still won’t force my past or my history on them.

1. I will not reveal and publish myself because it is too risky
2. If 1 million BTC is immediately exchanged I won't do it because by selling 1 million BTC directly I will indirectly make the BTC worthless later
3. I think it is an obligation for BTC owners to follow technological developments
4. no I will not attend every invitation because I want to remain anonymous

I think it's obvious that if I were Satoshi, I will just stay away from my creation. I will just be in the background though, just like the rest of us as a observer. He had done the right thing to be anonymous and not let everyone knows who is the real Satoshi, as it could be a group of individuals who created Bitcoin.

And his invention is resistant to anyone, still enjoy the support of the majority. The Devs are very good and they keep constantly communication with everyone involved, the miners, the bitcoin community and everyone in crypto. So Satoshi is right when he says that it is “It's in good hands with Gavin and everyone.”

I think that in his position it is best to observe from the outside what is happening. There is a huge responsibility on him, and of course all cryptans will carry him on their hands, because he essentially created this amazing world of cryptocurrencies.

But at the same time, I was worried about my safety in his place, because the FBI and similar organizations might want to capture him.

I do not believe that eventually a person named Satoshi Nakamoto would one day appear and surprised the whole world as to his saga and his whereabouts and his plans for the future of Bitcoin. Now, this is assuming that Satoshi Nakamoto is a real person and is not actually an alias for a group that worked behind Bitcoin before it debut to the world. Still, let's assume I am Satoshi Nakamoto and I am asked many things...so let's begin.

No, I would not want to create commotion for myself so if I will appear then I would do it only on a limited engagement only...perhaps just talk to a group I am trusting. Appearing in public can mean I can be invited by the government...and I am avoiding that for good.

No, at least not immediately. Maybe I would be waiting for the time when each BTC would be priced at least 1 millions USD each so I would have lots of money to do many things. By the time I would encash my BTC, I would enjoy life as I should be.

I would be sitting only as a consultant and not anymore in the drive seat in Bitcoin development. I would however provide some necessary inputs and maybe ask some qualified people I do trust to further enhance Bitcoin.

This is a good invitation and I would want to also meet the President of El Salvador and thank him for the job well done in promoting Bitcoin in his country being its legal tender. I might even choose to be a naturalized citizen of El Salvador and enjoy its many tourist spots as well, provided a good level of security is arranged.

Since I already decided to show up even on a limited basis, staying anonymous would already be out of the question. Now, it does not mean that I would be basing in USA as there are many other countries worth visiting of and exploring further. Plus, we know USA is not the country for someone like me.

I would be making a book detailing everything and I would have it published before I die. So no more secrets for me.

In summary, do not worry since I am not the real Satoshi Nakamoto and maybe we should also be asking Craig Wright this set of questions also...just kidding.

1. No, it's obvious government will target me.
2. Probably no. Aside from risking future of Bitcoin, there's no way to sell it while preserving anonymity.
3. Yes, but under different identity.
4. No, see answer to 1st question.
5. Yes.
6. No. Even in distant future, there's risk my identity (e.g. religion and nationality) and history could be misused to attack Bitcoin reputation.

+ Thank you for your extremely interesting answers.
I already know that you are extremely greedy because you are willing to wait for BTC to reach 1M USD to sell 1M BTC worth 1T USD  8)

The idea of writing a book and publishing it is really interesting, it will help people understand the whole point of view and purpose of Satoshi Nakamoto instead of speculating and getting lost in the matrix of Bitcoin forks in this market.

If I was satoshi i would not tell anyone whom I am.
I would do what is already happening I would occasionally sell some coins.
I would not do anymore development for btc.
I would not go to el salvador 🇸🇻
I would hide myself and read about btc and crypto.
If I were married with kids I would eventually let them know the truth.

Lastly and not asked I would get involved with scrypt and merged mining of ltc/doge

it is a superior design to btc.

Appear to do what? I will only appear when it gets to the point that if I do not appear, bitcoin will be dead.

  • Would you move 1M BTC and sell for USD?
Why, is bitcoin failing and what message will I be passing and what panic will the community have if I do so.

  • Would you participate in the development and upgrade process of Bitcoin blockchain?
Satoshi could still be participating in the maintenance of bitcoin codes

  • Would you agree to accept the invitation to El Salvador?
Only if I will reappear.

  • Wouldl you continue to stay anonymous and observe the development of Bitcoin?
The best to do

  • Would you reveal this secret to your children before you die?
Which secret?

This is just your expectation, when you have 1M BTC ~ $40B in hand, you may make a different decision 🤑

There are many ways to stay anonymous, such as gradually transferring BTC to mixing services called BTC Mixer, from which you can receive clean BTC with no problem with their origin. Then you can simply liquidate them, without fear of being traced. I would also do this if Mixer services were safe and did not reveal information.

However, this will affect the entire market, Satoshi's return could have a negative impact by weakening confidence in BTC's independence, even though Satoshi deserves that money for his creative efforts.

       -   If I were Satoshi Nakamoto in real life at this time, for sure I would do what he did. For me, there is no point in revealing myself, because even though I haven't revealed myself yet, I am still popular, and the profit I get from what people have done by buying and increasing the value of Bitcoin in the market for more than a decade has passed.

I'm already happy here, even with the Bitcoin holdings I have. I am satisfied with what has happened and what will happen with the rise of the Bitcoin price in the market in this field of the crypto space.

Would you move 1M BTC and sell for USD?
I think it is better to stay as anonymous. Appearing in the public may bring bad impact to Bitcoin as it may be no longer decentralized.
Well, I won't sell all 1M BTC if I were Satoshi. This will ruin the price of Bitcoin in the market if selling all 1M BTC. But if selling small number of the Bitcoin, it is no problem.

Would you participate in the development and upgrade process of Bitcoin blockchain?
Would you agree to accept the invitation to El Salvador?
Sure, I am sure Satoshi is participating in the development of Bitcoin although he is somewhere.
What invitation? El Salvador makes it as a legal tender, it is okay as long as it brings positive impact in Bitcoin around the world.

If Satoshi is still alive, where ever he is, I believe he is living a very satisfying lifestyle that he wants.

Sathoshi is likely still alive and enjoying the results of the technology he built. He smiled at Bitcoin lovers while drinking tea.  He is not someone who wants to be known, he enjoys life as an anonymous person.  It was very fun because we weren't being chased by journalists and the media.

If I was Satoshi Nakamoto, first, I will continue to stay anonymous, secondly, I won't dare send 1 million bitcoins to charity, and sell those for USD, for doing either of this two, or both, will vehemently crash the price of bitcoin, and send panic across the cryptocurrency market, which could lead to a greater dump, I will allow the bitcoins to continue to sit there in the wallet, as long as I continue to have much more than enough money than I will ever need to spend in my entire life, and even my children and my children's children.
And I might even pass on without revealing the secret phrase or private keys of the wallet holding those 1 million bitcoins to my children because their vision might not be the same as mine, and they might withdraw and sell the entire 1 million bitcoin, crashing and destroying the price of bitcoin and cryptocurrencies at large when I am no longer there.

Would you dare to appear in public?
Maybe not. I am a person who likes to stay in the shadows and watch the world unfold. I don't want any spotlight which could potentially make me a target as well as everyone around me.
Quote
Would you move 1M BTC and sell for USD?
Quite likely. But not at a time when it is not necessary. Also, the BTCs in Satoshi's wallet give confidence in people's minds. Any kind of small thing happening to that wallet may raise questions.
Quote
Would you participate in the development and upgrade process of Bitcoin blockchain?
maybe but not with the identity of Satoshi Nakamoto. Maybe as someone else.

Quote
Would you agree to accept the invitation to El Salvador?
As I said, the identity reveal topic. I wouldn't want to go public. But El Salvador is a place where I will be able to freely use the very thing I have created. So it will be interesting to go there and see what it feels like. {If I was satoshi! }

Quote
Wouldl you continue to stay anonymous and observe the development of Bitcoin?
Yes, that would be the best thing for both me and Bitcoin.

Quote
Would you reveal this secret to your children before you die?
Well, this is a trick question. The outcome could be anything. And the future is unpredictable. I'll take that secret with me in the grave. If something goes wrong and the people in power decide to declare BTC to be illegal in any situation, that could have a negative impact on them in the future.

Probably the best idea that he thought of following the creation of Bitcoin because we all know the consequences that would have followed if actually Satoshi nakamoto was known and identified to be someone. The government which have fought so badly with Bitcoin would have find a way to actually penalized or victimized him of something that would have led to the Downfall of Bitcoin ever since just like the way they did to CZ and binance.

If the government knows Satoshi, they must do the same way as CZ. The government will make Satoshi in a trouble because Satoshi makes a lot of people involved in crypto industry. Actually now all the governments are against Satoshi, but they may blame Satoshi because of the Bitcoin existence. The government may send him to the jail and confiscate Bitcoin ownership.

Maybe I won't answer other questions because I can only answer this one.
-I would keep my personal secret if I were Satoshi Nakamoto because it is for my safety in living in the real world.
-I also don't want to be directly involved in Bitcoin development, maybe I will also create an Anonymous account if I need to help develop Bitcoin.
-Yeps, I will continue to be Anonymous because it's more comfortable for me.
-No need, because my child could give a different statement about me one day if I am Satoshi Nakamoto, maybe it would be better for me to give 106K Bitcoins to my child and I remain anonymous to Satoshi Nakamoto.

It's a difficult question, if I were Satoshi, I would sell Btc on OTC exchanges to large funds to get money while not affecting the market, it would be better to sell the private key to them, without moving any Btc and make others suspicious.

Then I will use that money for my own purposes: opening a scholarship fund, charity fund, blockchain development fund. 1 million Bit are worth tens of billions of dollars, we can do a lot of good and valuable things for society.

        -   Like Satoshi did, I will not reveal myself either, because I know that Bitcoin will help in terms of financial problems all over the world, which are happening little by little now, to be honest. Then maybe 1 million bitcoins. I will also keep that for our security, of course.

And if the time comes when I'm about to die or disappear from the surface of the world, it's possible that I will also reveal the secret that I have to my son, who is completely trusted, to know if he can really be trusted.

If I am Satoshi Nakamoto I won't dare to appear on public it is a suicide.
Depending on me and my family's financial status maybe I will move just a few Bitcoins to secure my financial capability as a normal person. I think 10BTC will do.
Well, I will of course participate in the development and upgrade process of Bitcoin blockchain but anonymously I mean not on what enthusiasts and governments see see like under the legendary name Satoshi Nakamoto but in another identity.
I don't think I can accept invitation from El Salvador but I am sure I'll be visiting that country without any trace.
Yes, I will continue to stay anonymous and observe the development of Bitcoin.
I don't think revealing will help them become famous or whatsoever but istead it makes them a target for some reason.
Charity is good but sometimes some of them are shady so I think helping those who are in need here in the Bitcointalk forum will make sense. I mean sending someone randomly with .5BTC is I think more than enough for them to have the chance to live a good life.

Yeah, Satoshi Nakamoto is currently enjoying his life well and I'm sure he has a number of Bitcoins stored in several of his personal wallets and is still waiting until the price is very expensive, hiding his identity so that many people don't know is a smart move because when he doesn't do it This means that there will be many bad things that could possibly harm Satoshi Nakamoto.

Do you know how much damage that would do to the price of BTC? Satoshi is doing us all a great favor by staying in the shadows, and also sends us a clear message that he didn't invent Bitcoin to get rich off of it. In addition, if Satoshi tried to share his wealth, he would very likely be detected, because today you cannot hide online, no matter what methods you use.

I have some questions for everyone: If you were Satoshi Nakamoto, what would you do?
Would you dare to appear in public?
Would you move 1M BTC and sell for USD?

No, both would be a very bad move, not only for personal safety, but also for the future of BTC.

Quote
  • Would you participate in the development and upgrade process of Bitcoin blockchain?

Who says that Satoshi still does not participate in the development of Bitcoin - it would be quite logical considering that his project has achieved global success.

Quote
  • Would you agree to accept the invitation to El Salvador?

Of course not, that would mean that the identity must be revealed.

Quote
  • Wouldl you continue to stay anonymous and observe the development of Bitcoin?

The option that certainly makes the most sense, and I hope that Satoshi (if he's alive) will stick with it.

Quote
  • Would you reveal this secret to your children before you die?

No, children should not have such a burden in their lives, and some secrets should simply be taken to the grave.

If I were Satoshi Nakamato, I might not have survived this long in the world especially when my enemies will know about my bitcoins and will always try to kidnap me to take the formula I made bitcoins. Also, I have a million bitcoins in my wallet, if they fall into the hands of the enemy, they will not keep me alive in the world, so my life will always be in danger. Satoshi Nakamato is unknown until now that he will face many such problems.  However, the government of any country does not guarantee Satoshi Nakamato's security, so it is not known whether Satoshi Nakamato is alive or dead.

If I were Satoshi Nakamoto, I would never reveal my true identity. And there is no chances that the creator of Bitcoin will appear in public. He understands that it will only endanger his life and the love of his life, his family. We must remember that Bitcoin was established to protect the security and anonymity of everyone who transacted or traded with another person. We are aware that there are many people who take advantage of us because we have a lot of money. That is undoubtedly what Nakamoto is thinking before he vanishes.

for conspiracy theorist, this may not be true. things doesn't just happen in a vacuum so if coincidence happen like the finance melt down in 2008 and then BTC comes out in 2009, the conspiracy theorist will be suspecting something is too coincident here.  it could be that government is the one releasing BTC and they come to control is back from the people because they know how through big institutions and regulators.

if am satoshi nakamoto who has 1M BTC, i sure know i can participate in world politics with such money. if someone like Elon Musk can get involve in many developments and politics, i will also be doing so.  ;D

d. I would not dare to appear and have my identity revealed for fear of endangering my life.
You have already answered the question you asked. And what you said is what Satoshi Nakamoto is doing as well if I am not mistaken. Satoshi Nakamoto has shared more than 1m BTC to charities by opening or creating the bitcointalk.org forum for the poor to participate and get stipend for participating in signature campaigns. That is a great help he has done. Because that can remind me of the statement that "teach him how to fish instead of giving him a fish".

1M BTC ~ 50B USD, not a large amount of money compared to billionaires like Elon Musk or Bill Gates, so safety is not really an issue if you really want to appear.

I think when BTC is so famous and becomes an issue that many presidential candidates need to be transparent about when running for election, you may need to pay more attention to your legal issues. I believe that if something could be done to control and remove BTC from the economy, governments would take action to protect fiat.

I like charity ideas, but sharing them through a signature campaign on crypto forum doesn't seem really effective. Many people do not use forums, do not have the ability to interact and receive the necessary money for their lives. That means the BTC may never reach those who truly need it. I think some professional charity would be suitable to undertake this work.

Elon Musk is much wealthier than Satoshi but I think we can't compare Satoshi to Elon Musk because they are different. The beginning of Elon Musk is traceable but the beginning of Satoshi is untraceable. Other than that, Elon Musk only put a small percentage of his wealth in crypto. So if Satoshi will ever appear in the public, there is a high chance that there are someone that might interest him.

If you remember what happened to the Wikileaks, the government are chasing them until they get caught the founder Julian Assange. When there was a blockade of mastercards from their platform, they used Bitcoin. I'm sure there will be a lot of question as well if ever Satoshi will appear in public. Remember, no one is above in the law, if they are going to charge him and want him imprisoned, we can't do anything for it.

Everything has been calculated very carefully by him so that until now no one knows at all about who Satoshi Nakamoto really is, whether he works alone or in an organization. It would definitely be very dangerous for him if he revealed his true identity. All eyes will be on him, from those with interests to criminals who want to control what he has. He was very, very clever at calculating everything, everything had been planned in such a way.

Yeah but even if Satoshi Nakamoto is a group of genius people it is still not safe from execution as we can see on movies that someone in the group will have this some sort of betrayal so I think it is a tricky thing to really expose one's identity given that they got the multimillion dollar asset with him or them. All I can say is that Satoshi really is very clever and things are well planned before he become inactive on BitcoinTalk forum he really is a true legend. I hope he or they are all good right now.

        -   Well, to be honest, no one has been able to confirm whether Satoshi Nakamoto is really a person, because it can be said that he is the one who created Bitcoin, even though in reality there is no Satoshi Nakamoto. There have been many theories about that.

Now, if it is true that there really is a Satoshi Nakamoto, what I will do is keep it anonymous because it is not important, and besides, I can see that the good intentions and goals that I want to happen in the whole world are already happening.

I think these things can affect your anonymity because transactions will be investigated and people with enough power will still be able to identify you.

If you want to remain anonymous forever, letting your children and future generations know the truth is not necessarily a safe option. Imagine about 100 years from now, maybe children will not fully understand the value of anonymity, for example, right now they can freely post personal photos on TikTok.

Every step Satoshi Nakamoto takes with Bitcoin is unique. His contribution to the development of Bitcoin is commendable. I think there is no room to mistake his steps. After all his development it is now easy for everyone to understand why he became anonymous. He designed Bitcoin in such a way that there is no room for blame. How the price of Bitcoin will increase in the long term and how people will use Bitcoin independently from trap of government or centralization is something no one in the world has done before. If i I were Satoshi Nakamoto then I think I could not have been a personality of creative thinking like him. He saw the future of Bitcoin in 2009 or earlier but we are only experiencing it. He knew that Bitcoin would go to a point where the world would accept it and governments would try to use it, so every move he made was commendable.

Although there are some cases of people suddenly appearing and claiming to be Sathosi, I think it's a stupid thing that people do. Because what is the purpose of him appearing and claiming to be Sathosi, even with the threats that exist. and even I think we will not believe that he is Sathosi without showing something that can confirm that he is really the person we are looking for so far.

However, with Satoshi's disappearance, no one knows for sure whether he is still alive or not, what is clear is that he cannot be found and is currently still a mystery.

He did and until now we never knew who he really was.

You are right, if he appears maybe it will affect the price of bitcoin, because everyone knows how much bitcoin he holds and his appearance will panic everyone.

But I believe he will never surface. He has kept that commitment since he disappeared until now. So we don't need to worry about that, because he must also have known the risks if he appeared.

No, it will be very risky to do it once, and will of course influence the Bitcoin market, moreover if it is out from Satoshi's Wallet at once all out.

Would you participate in the development and upgrade process of Bitcoin blockchain?
After creating, the best way is developing, as long as it is still in line with the basic purpose of  Bitcoin

Satoshi will always hide his identity because it is the only way to save him and crypto industry. When his identity is revealed, it is very dangerous for crypto industry because we can't imagine if the government sends him to the jail. The government and bad people can force him to stop crypto industry and he may announce something bad for Bitcoin. Although Satoshi has no right to stop crypto industry but he has the power to ruin it. So, he must always hide the identity.

I also hope Satoshi will never appear to help BTC always be an asset that does not depend on any force or individual in the market, BTC will belong to everyone. Currently BTC has matured but I believe that the return of Satoshi even in the form of Inscriptions from the Genesis address could cause the value of BTC to be negatively affected. Investors/holders may not feel safe owning a token created by someone else and that person is following his financial game.

Satoshi's continued anonymity is the largest contribution to BTC!

Yes, it would be better for Sathosi to remain anonymous and forever hide and not reveal his identity because we know he is already rich and there is no need for the public to know who he is? just keep quiet and enjoy the results he has achieved now. We don't know for sure whether Satoshi is a person or a group of people, everything is just speculation. I believe that Satoshi is Hal Finney, and he passed away with the biggest secret of his life. Anyway, we are still in this market, there is a common currency on the internet called BTC and we are talking about the same legend. Satoshi chose to remain anonymous to protect the future of BTC. I think Satoshi will continue to remain anonymous even if he reads our speculations.

First of all, I wouldn't want to be Satoshi Nakomoto to begin with, that already seems like something that would bring in so much to life and it would be so much trouble. After all, its not a money that you can spend freely, lets assume that I want to cash it out, how am I suppose to do it? Not like I can send it to my bank account, it would not be possible, I would probably need to move to a nation where CIA or FBI wouldn't catch me, and there are only a very limited few places like that, and those places have dangers of their own. All in all, I would say that its going to be pretty daunting to have any basic possibility to spend it. So I would do what Satoshi does, and stay silent.

1 - No, except under a pseudonym and I would prefer to keep my real identity hidden.
2 - Since it has the potential to make the market noisy, I will sell it occasionally according to my needs. If you feel the impact is too stupid, holding is not a big problem for me.
3 - Yes, as much as I can
4 - No
5 - Yes, but I feel like I want to also contribute to development, not just monitor it.
6 - Certainly so

Satoshi Nakamoto created Bitcoin in order to add a decentralized payment system for the community to not rely on banks anymore. If I am not wrong then Satoshi was someone who never shared anything about himself. His main ambition behind creation of Bitcoin was to give the world a new currency that should not be controlled by a country or any centralized authority. With the creation of Bitcoin and its success he already achieved everything, he never created Bitcoin for fame and that's why he'll never appear in public.

Yes, I have the same opinion, I think it would be better for Satoshi to remain anonymous forever, because if he introduces himself, it is feared that he will be hunted down by irresponsible parties to take the results of his discoveries, and from the government he will probably be imprisoned and told to delete his discoveries.

Why should you sell it, don't you want to hold until the new ATH is reached.
You say you'll remain anonymous, but where do you sell your bitcoins?

If you sell on a centralized Exchange, then forget those Anonymous words.
If you want to create a super crypto project, good luck because now is the right season for all old projects or new projects.

Currently, those who claim to be Satoshi Nakamoto in public will only become the butt of jokes, as you mentioned, there is no longer any point in stating that Satoshi Nakamoto exists because there has been a lot of news talking about Satoshi Nakamoto choosing to disappear to maintain the value of Bitcoin itself.

BTC just created a new ATH and this is probably the right time to take BTC profits :)

BTC Mixers are really popular right now and can provide quite good anonymity. However, when some BTC are transferred from the Genesis address, they will create a worry in the market when BTC holders will feel like they own an asset that is no longer truly independent. I hope this will not cause BTC and the crypto market to face a wave of distrust and collapse.

I also believe that Satoshi's anonymity is one of BTC's greatest assets: it provides BTC with independence and can never be investigated when there is no individual or organization behind the existence of BTC. This also helped BTC to quickly be identified as a commodity rather than a security. Meanwhile, ETH has not yet been identified as a commodity.

I have some questions for everyone: If you were Satoshi Nakamoto, what would you do?
  • Would you dare to appear in public?
  • Would you move 1M BTC and sell for USD?
  • Would you participate in the development and upgrade process of Bitcoin blockchain?
  • Would you agree to accept the invitation to El Salvador?
  • Wouldl you continue to stay anonymous and observe the development of Bitcoin?
  • Would you reveal this secret to your children before you die?
1. Hell NO!!! No need for further explanation for this one. If no one knows about my identity online, I would rather stay public. Unfortunately, it will not happen anymore, and I'm not Satoshi so... yeah. :D
2. Since nobody knows my identity, I might, but the problem is that selling those 1M Bitcoins might reveal my true identity since experts can just trace it somewhere, and might find some leads.
3. I would love to, but continuous interaction with different people might give some hints about who I am hence, I might not do it because as much as possible, I want to keep myself private.
4. No. That would reveal my identity.
5. I would rather do that compared to sharing my true identity with the public. Many are thinking that Satoshi is holding 1M Bitcoins, and if I reveal my true identity, I would risk my security.
6. No because they're the ones that will be affected in the future. Many people will follow my children. Many media will follow my children. They will be like the famous people right now that has no security at all.

Overall, I guess Satoshi staying anonymous is the one that's very hard to do right now especially now that any information can be seen, and spread online at a rapid pace.

Would you dare to appear in public?
-No, you are putting up your life at risks and im sure of that.

Would you move 1M BTC and sell for USD?
-One sell move, then your exposing already yourself. So NO!

Would you participate in the development and upgrade process of Bitcoin blockchain?
-On anonymous manner then it would be a yes but as Satoshi nakamoto then NO!

Would you agree to accept the invitation to El Salvador?
-Anonymity will be always priority :P

Wouldl you continue to stay anonymous and observe the development of Bitcoin?
-Yes, it would definitely be considering such thing

Would you reveal this secret to your children before you die?
-Money isnt everything, you would be leaving on this world empty handed.
So it would be wise that you do tell them about your possessions but of course it would be depending on you
on how you would be doing it.

Honestly, I want to see Satoshi to declare himself as a true Satoshi. But it is not the right idea because it even can destroy Bitcoin. I'm very sure Satoshi realizes it will harm everything if he announces himself to the public. He has no choice, he must always hide his identity. He also must keep his Bitcoin in his wallet, it will attract all people and may raise a fear if he moves the Bitcoin in a large number.

I also have the same thoughts as you, my curiosity urges me to learn about Satoshi, and if chosen, I also want to know his identity.

I understand that Satoshi's anonymity is important to the future of BTC, so in case we only know Satoshi's identity 50 years from now in a will left behind by Satoshi somewhere and only announced after the 15th halving of the Bitcoin blockchain. At that time we will know that Satoshi may no longer be in the world and no longer affect the fate of BTC and I believe that at that time the value of BTC has been confirmed in the economy.
