When, how, and why did you get involved in crypto?
Is it because of earning some cash with trading or because of a job? Or do you believe it is the next big thing?
Whenever I tell people that I work in the legal space in crypto they always ask for advice on which coins to buy, however, I have no real clue about that. I also get the impression that most people in my proximity believe that Bitcoin is the only cryptocurrency out there..

I got into crypto because of poker. I was a big player on Seals with Clubs back in the day. Since then, crypto has blown up and become something more then just a gambling token. People actually use it to live their daily lives.

I guess the trading can be seen as a poker game, you need to know when to fold (sell) and when to bet (buy or hold). Do you feel that your experience in poker has helped?

I got in crypto mostly because of the cash, but I grew to like the crypto space I see it becoming the next big thing though mostly in to airdrops and jobs now trying to gather enough liquidity for trading, here it 50/50 for me though alot know about crypto, while other thinks is a scam, but I will tell you one thing crypto will change a lot of people prepectives in the coming years

For me, it's very similar. I started it because of work and now I really enjoy it. I do need to learn more about for example airdrops, there's always new things to learn in the crypto world! And I agree, it have the possibility to be life-changing for a lot of people.

The answer to this is all of the above; people are working on trading and making a living in Crypto, and all holders believe it's the next big thing.

When I am asked that question, I always choose the safe answer: go for Bitcoin and Ethereum and do your research on other coins. People who want to create a portfolio on Cryptocurrency should learn how to set up criteria and do their own research.

I started getting involved with cryptocurrency many years ago and I think I should have been rich right now because at that time BTC was just around $500...alas many things went wrong and here I am still looking for my proverbial pot of gold. I believe bought my first 2 BTC all because I used it to join money-scheme programs (that later on turned to be all dead) and it was then easier to use BTC for those programs. At that time, I had no real idea what cryptocurrency is and the many things it stands for. Later on as I got educated on it, I learned that Bitcoin came about into existence because of the distrust of the government and the usual financial institutions that failed to work for the people. Now, I am seeing that Bitcoin is the top cryptocurrency and is now recognized by Wall Street as an asset just like gold and that many traditional finance firms are getting into it. Bitcoin should be the best alternative to fiat money and it is empowering the people to decide their own destiny away from the power and control of the government.

Yes, so I just gave a couple of examples. I for example did not get involved in crypto for trading but for a small job. But yes, people should always be careful when giving advice on what to invest in.

I got into crypto because there were lots of people around me who had already gotten into crypto which made me curious. Like my friends and even my relatives in the family were already there. Although he rarely talks about it. What is clear is that I am interested because from crypto investment and trading I can make a profit. Even my brother and I often exchange ideas about crypto and trading. But I was interested based on my own will and not from invitations from the people around me. And this at first seemed like a new world that I had not yet touched and I was curious to find out more about at first. And it turned out that this increasingly interested me. So after work I always focus on crypto and learn little by little about it. And sometimes I exchange ideas with my brother who turns out he continues to trade on the crypto market every day. This influenced me and also made me also learn crypto trading. Although I still have to continue learning. Because I don't have as much free time as my brother.

Thats cool! Do you have any advice on where to learn a bit more about trading? So much on youtube, it's quite overwhelming! Good luck with the trading :) I am very happy to have some ETH that suddenly went up with 11% today!
