When, how, and why did you get involved in crypto?

Is it because of earning some cash with trading or because of a job? Or do you believe it is the next big thing?

Whenever I tell people that I work in the legal space in crypto they always ask for advice on which coins to buy, however, I have no real clue about that. I also get the impression that most people in my proximity believe that Bitcoin is the only cryptocurrency out there..
Crypto is freedom. It's as simple as that

I have been involved in crypto for almost 10 years but the past holds many regrets. Actually i prefer to make money in crypto but some keep it as first source of money making and some consider it as side business. People make money from crypto based on experience. Yes i believe in the future crypto will be used for gambling all over the world and its popularity will increase a lot. When someone takes ideas from you but analyze only crypto then he will invest according to his right idea. Success in crypto can be achieved with crypto concepts and experience.

I first got to know about crypto from one of my online friends, he introduced me to the world of crypto by joining a bounty to get free altcoins, but at that time I didn't know that the main crypto coin was bitcoin, just I knew was ETH, over time after I found out about BTC, I started trading guided by friends and when to buy and sell, and from participating in the bounty I was able to help my husband with finances and I consider following the bounty to be a job from home without having to leave my children and home, I can still have an income

Forget about spending too much time on bounties because good project bounties are not available now. But even if you get some good bounty, there are many hunters participating and the amount of rewards is less. So here you can earn only few dollars even after working for few months. I say this from real experience, however crypto is absolutely personal freedom. So here you can earn money in various ways starting from investment or anything else.

Yes, there are so many people who are now very successful Bitcoin holders who started off their crypto journeys as bounty hunters, they managed to learn more about crypto and paved their way to the top, but this doesn't mean that it's a good idea to advice someone to do the same thing or also begin by Hunting for bounties because the bounty we knew back then that was productive back then has changed into something else as scam projects have flooded the crypto space and all of them are struggling to advertise their projecta and many of them will launch bounty campaigns and after the end of the campaign they'll refuse to pay, turning the efforts of all the participants into a total waste of time and effort.
This is exactly what's happening in the bounty world now and many have already lost hope in the authenticity of bounties. So to avoid going through all that, it'll be advisable to sort for other means that one can start their crypto journey while also being sure of learning and also earning.

When, how, and why did you get involved in crypto?

Is it because of earning some cash with trading or because of a job? Or do you believe it is the next big thing?

Everyone has their motives and the next big thing could be crypto or may not be. Every motive has a major role played in the contribution of the mass adoption we’ve witnessed today in cryptocurrency. The most one with the purpose is the one with the mindset of making money through investment in this coins.

Before I also knew about bitcoin, I always assume that cryptocurrency and bitcoin are two different coins, not knowing that one is a general name and one is the first cryptocurrency to ever existed. As time goes on and I got engaged more with cryptocurrency, I got to realized that there are many cryptocurrencies existing today but bitcoin still stands out amongst them.

It’s okay not to get a clue about cryptocurrency to buy because you were never initially motivated into cryptocurrency for the monetary gain some people come into it for, but to provide a more financial pathway, ownership and more control of your funds without any third party system involved.

When did I enter the world of cryptocurrencies? About seven years ago or a little more, I don't remember exactly.

As for why I entered? At first, I entered by chance when I was searching for a job on the Internet and came across advertisements for Bitcoin more than once. At first, I didn't understand anything, but when I searched and learned about Bitcoin, I felt that this was what I was looking for.

Something new and distinctive that I saw for the first time, carrying a different value and meaning and a window into financial freedom.

Yes that is right we should not waste our time on bounties because there are not many good ones are available now mostly ask too much time but there is no reward. Or if we find good one many people are competing and due to this reward will go more shorter. We might only earn few dollars after working for months.

I also have experienced about it. But the thing is that cryptocurrency gives us freedom to make money in many ways like investing trading or other things. So we should explore more options and we should find what works best for us.

You're totally right.
Bounty hunters everywhere are complaining of being reaped and cheated all the time, bounty hunting is now nothing but a total waste of time because you can spend months running several bounty campaigns with hopes of being compensated and paid for your work only to find out that the project was just one of those scam projects, I can only imagine how frustrating that must be for the participants.
Even some campaign managers end up having bad reputation for managing several scam bounties, and this is not good at all for the crypto community, both fot crypto enthusiasts and those who are hoping to join the crypto community because this may certainly give them the wrong view and perspective of what the crypto market and community is all about. There are many other ways people can earn from crypto asides bounties and even airdrops, so people should sort for those other ways to avoid these subsequent scenarios.

When, how, and why did you get involved in crypto? People ask for advice on which coins to buy, however, I have no real clue about that. I also get the impression that most people in my proximity believe that Bitcoin is the only cryptocurrency out there..

First, I got involved with cryptocurrency all because I was into some "shady" revenue sharing programs that had big boom in the years of 2013 to 2015...they were mostly using already cryptocurrencies so since I was smitten by them I got no choice but to buy my first BTC...and at that time there was already a famous exchange operating here in my country so this is my story. Second, if there will be people asking you on what coins to buy aside from Bitcoin, why not refer them to Coinmarketcap and tell them to search more using Google and of course invite them to this forum. We have to remember that education is always a big key towards success in cryptocurrency investing. Knowledge is a big power that anybody can tune up with.

surely some still find it beneficial because otherwise i do not think they would be exerting much effort with bounty hunting it can only be up to you whether you want to follow suit

There is a lot of information about crypto currency that is impossible to explain to you. A currency that cannot be seen cannot be touched, only seen and only understood as having a number.  Today there are many ways to do mining among them are by joining signature campaign and doing online trading.  There are many bores in this forum where micro currency is discussed from there you can learn and here you have to work patiently I think you will be rewarded with patience.
