On YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, there are lots of content creators who discuss and make predictions about cryptocurrency... we are used to seeing this, but does anyone have complete trust in them??? Many people are even willing to pay a lot of money to be able to take part in their classes or training programs, but in the end quite a few fail in the class...
Have any of you here followed the suggestions given by content creators on social media which can be obtained for free? And how big an impact does the decision-making method of using influencer references have on your finances?
-
I prefer to make my own analyses but I do watch what some well known people are posting. Sometimes I see lies and sometimes I see truth.
Sometimes the predictions and suggestions do not go as said while sometimes it went as said. Sometimes some suggestions can be good but said at the wrong time and the outcome can be very bad. What I have noticed over the years is that you should find ways yourself not to lose because some predictions and suggestions will not just be in your favore if coming at the wrong time.

Without a doubt , if a few can can fail out of many that have attended such classes, then that class must have worth it or maybe they’re just tryna deceive others into luring them to come for more classes. The internet has become a learning center, just like YouTube; you can get all the informations you need to learn about cryptocurrency without going for a paid class. This is following a professionals guidelines and backing it up with your personal learning.
Content creators are known to do promotional contents because they’re paid for that, so following them is at your own peril. You don’t have to always believe whatever they’re saying because at that point, they’re been selfish center. Only a few of them will see something not true and then not want to advertise it, most of them will do them no matter what for the pay. It’s advisable to always do your own research when you come across anything online.

Most of them are fake and are trying to make money by selling something they have learned and did not make money out of it. In short, they make more money by selling courses. And speaking of us, we tend to see the positive results. They show us only good stuff, therefore.
I never took any course by paying money and tbh it's very hard to find a good and free course on YouTube but I watched short reels on IG where some good reels really give good information sometimes out of 10 videos 1 video really gives good information. We should not take courses from influencers, especially from famous ones.

I often refer to many channels with crypto content but rarely trust or act on their advice. I just want to update news about the crypto market and have some suggestions about new trends, potential projects and some tokens that can be put on the watchlist.
Serious KOLs usually only share their views and do not give financial advice. I am cautious with those who dare to give direct financial advice because such advice can be detrimental to the assets of inexperienced investors, especially the elderly who are easily trusting and will invest their entire savings in the crypto market when they do not fully understand the risks in this market.
-
Firstly, I just following on Instagram social media account regarding have any account update with all cryptocurrency from bad news until good news why make bitcoin get dump or pump suddenly. For content creator actually depend on their skill have knowledge about cryptocurrency or not. Recently many new content creator lack knowledge talking about bitcoin and altcoin, they don't have any skill yet but try to make many influencer or their follower believing him to buy some coins based on his recommended.
If the content creator new in cryptocurrency behind their content before not relation yet with bitcoin I leave them and never interested for following their advice.

For me, personally so far, not yet any content creator that really influence my decision and make me following their suggestions 100%. In my opinion, not all content creators can really give true suggestions. Moreover, some content creators only care about views, followers and money, so they will do anything to attract people's attention to them. The more they gain, the more they are likely to do to fulfill it.
But unfortunately, there are still many people who follow all their suggestions 100% completely without thinking anything else. Yes indeed, maybe there are content creators who really provide education and sensible advice regarding crypto. However, that doesn't mean we have to follow his suggestions in such a way. We can just use the information they provide as material for consideration or additional information. But then, we ourselves have to do the work, analyze it, and also make decisions based on our own, more mature considerations.
-
And how big an impact does the decision-making method of using influencer references have on your finances?
Maybe as limited as 20%, I just like hearing things about the potential risks from their explanations. Assuming an influencer's advice is infinitely true is foolhardy, every success story will have its own unique path and it's almost impossible for everyone to follow the same path.

OMG... it seems that financial advice from an entertainer through content is not the best nowadays... we see them looking for views through advertisements, and we are looking for truly sincere advice...
From some of the responses given by friends here, it seems that suggestions from a content creator are not really paid attention to... so it could be said that only suggestions that match what the audience thinks will be confirmed as the best suggestions... the rest if there are different views on price predictions, it's usually a waste of time...this isn't much different from how I feel.

I've been watching many influencers of different niche, and yes, I'm following some of what they're saying, but not those content creators that are making predictions not only on crypto prices, but in other asset classes as well. Heck, I will not even pay them to be part of their classes. There is many information that we can get online, and it's all for FREE. Why do we need to pay them to teach us something that we can learn for free.
With the evolution of AI, there are also many websites that are giving courses with regards to something FOR FREE. As for these content creators that are making predictions and giving advice, I guess there's nothing wrong with it because it's still our decision if we will follow them or not. In my case, I will not do it, and I don't follow advice of some content creator out there especially if they're promoting new projects on their channel.
-
I follow them look into their suggestions but never blindly follow them. I prefer to analyse, understand and come out with own conclusions. This how I have investing in cryptocurrency market. I have heard and read that a lot of loss happened because someone blindly followed the suggestion of an influencer. Not every one is giving free information a lot of them do promotion because they are getting paid to do it.
-
Everyone can do whatever they want with their time and money, but I think there are very few who honestly share their knowledge with others via social platforms - and most are "paid" to promote someone or something, and they do it even if they know that they are very likely to cause financial harm to others.
Such things are almost irrelevant to me, I don't use social networks, and I rarely watch YT, especially since they have those annoying ads.
-
The content creator makes content to make money, it may be their primary source of income so I can say that what they said may not be true because there are many traders even mentors who are not really profitable. That means they don't expect more income from those who join them. For me, don't really trust those so that you don't fill your mind with wrong ideas or knowledge. Instead, do your own research, take time to back test your strategies.

I also watch many social influencers in my spare time when I use TikTok then there are a lot of videos that come in my for you page related to crypto suggestions. I just watch and go on I never personally react to any of their suggestions as I know it is my money and my risk so the research also should be mine. However, We can also verify their sayings after doing our own research then we can react to their suggestions.
But blindly reacting or taking action on just random videos of the social can cause some trouble for one who is believing in this blindly without any research in my opinion. Well, if anyone who is doing this, here is my part of suggestion to him/her to verify their saying and after that, you may take action at your own risk.
Besides this, I know that they make some market predictions which I think it is nearly impossible to time the crypto marker 100% correctly so they just do some technical analysis according to their knowledge which can be sometimes wrong and sometimes true as well. That is why always take risks at your own and never depending solely on their suggestion can be the right thing in our favor. What do you say about this?
-
I don't follow the advices that a content creator are giving. The reason is that it could be wrong or not true (either paid to do it or just wanted to have a content to post) about the advice that they are giving to other people. Instead, I'd take note on what they advice people to do and compare it to others and see if it is similar or the same before making a decision. It is similar to making research and compare the informations that you have found when searching and to see which one I should believe that it's true or the correct information.

No, this is not what I meant to say, not all influencers are the same I said it is hard to find the right one and most of them are fake and trying to sell their courses so they could make money by selling it even if they were not able to make money with that skills they are selling.
So if there are different views about the market, influencers, and other things that's good because diversification of POVs (Point of View) is necessary for broad knowledge to idealize what is right and what is wrong. You just have to listen to all POVs and make up your own mind whether you should follow an influencer or Youtubers or not and do you even need it. Let me share my bad experience, I followed a YouTuber and joined his tg and followed news that the market was going to dump, I took action with some knowledge I had and the news he shared influenced me a lot to take the exit. And that's what I did and end up with a lesser profit. The point is never to take their advice for granted and always search for a second opinion. I know multiple POVs are full of confusion but with proper knowledge, we can narrow down the right choice.

No matter how famous the channel owner is and trying to be impartial, no one achieves 100% in trading and not all trades will be successful, so learn how to trade instead of taking advice or imitating a professional trader if you want to trade in tokens or altcoins.
Bitcoin trading may be neutral, but even a good trader's predictions will not be correct, so listen to more than one source before making your trading decision.

It is kind of the same since the post is about advices from content creator is not the best nowadays which means advice from content creators are not reliable meanwhile your post is about it is hard to find the right one and most of them are fake which also means that most of it are not the best or most of it are fake. Although, your point is not only about that but also about there's still some content creator who really give advices that aren't fake as you have stated (the hard one to find).

I'm following oane of content creators in my country, in their instagram and telegram channel. But, what he does is provide education regarding crypto, predictions, and some tips. And this does not directly suggest that we follow his way of investing or trading. Really good education.
Unfortunately, there are not many influencers or content creators like this. Many of them only focus on money and in the end create content whose aim is to increase the number of views or engagement so that they can make more money. Or they are affiliates or brand marketers of certain coins, which in fact they themselves don't actually invest in, but they continuously create hype about certain coins for their own personal gain. And this really sucks. Why? because there are still many people who believe in them.
-
Content creators are more interested in their gains that yours. They do not promote projects for free. Most times they are in partnership with these projects and some other times they have bought with ridiculous low prices and want unsuspecting audience to buy in. It is not bad to listen to them, but do your own research before you believe them.
-
Those content creators are for themselves because they are creating those contents to make money though there are some of them that passed information to the public but not all and they are some that are just for fun. Almost all are involving in content creation mad they monetize their social media channels and create content to make money.
-
I see majority of content creator as people that are out for business and not to share information of what they know about cryptocurrency because some of them will say anything to enrich their pockets. I don't like watching YouTube but I read and make my researches online because you can get whatever you want online if you know how to search for it. However, I don't trade and don't invest on altcoins but bitcoin. Most times when they are predicting the price of bitcoin, I careless but always watch to see if the price will go as predicted.
-

Yeah, many KOLs are created by CEXs themselves to promote their services, then they pump/dump a lot of memecoins without caring about the consequences for their followers. Some just want to sell courses on crypto or technical analysis. Only some KOLs are truly responsible for what they say and clearly announce advertising or sponsored content.
Inexperienced investors should look to reputable KOLs that truly provide valuable market information for their investment journey. Many fanciful theories or KOL's overconfidence can be signs of fraud!
-
Before answering the question I would Like to ask question that Don't you know the what is the main object of the content creator's ? Their main goal is to make happy the sponsor and get views there is also some exception for really make content dedicately but most of them are only want views.
And to get this view they make the way they should talk or the way they should make content. So I avoid them most of the time, although sometimes I take their advice without verifying it with my own personal knowledge. If you take all their advice like a blind person, you will be in danger later.

Have any of you here followed the suggestions given by content creators on social media which can be obtained for free?
Yes, I used to follow some of those content creators and to be honest I have never made any profits by following those influencers but instead of making any profits I made losses and that's why I stopped following those social media influencers.

Influencers only offer a piece of content or advice that really doesn't work.
Influencers only promote coins or projects that pay them under the pretext that it is a good coin to buy.
Even though it will be very risky to follow advice from influencers or others about buying coins or new projects that are not yet clear.
Influencers also benefit from affiliates, sponsorships and more.
They are in business and will not care about the content audience, usually there are DYOR words to warn that everyone has done their own research and every risk is their own responsibility.

Some/most of these influencers are the exact reason why a lot of new people come into the crypto space having the wrong perspectives and idea of what crypto is all about, most of them go ahead to spread and plant unrealistic expectations into the minds of many people who are actually ignorant, naive and seeking for guidance in the crypto space and when they eventually make decisions based on these unrealistic expectations, they end up landing themselves into deep shits and incurring unimaginable losses.
The crypto market is indeed one of the most profitable ventures in the global market today, but people need to realize that it requires time, the right approach or technique and patience, not a get rich quick scheme that people with little or no single experience go into and make themselves huge profits, those expectations are so unrealistic and should be avoided.
-

That's very true, it took me sometime to understand that and that's why now I try my best to avoid those social media influencers as they're only there to make money for themselves and they never ever want others to make money.
If someone wants to lose money then he/she should follow those social media influencers but if someone wants to make profits as a trader or as an investor then he/she should do his/her own research and take good decisions only.

There used to be a time when some crypto YouTube content creators do make an amazing content for Bitcoin but it's sad that the best one like the 99Bitcoin now promote meme coins. I was kinda of sad because they shouldn't be doing this things but it seems many of them all sold their Bitcoin and doesn't have ways to make money since many altcoins didn't pump that much and they see meme as opportunity to make that money. Since then, I don't listen to their contents again because they are paid to shill.

In some times I took advice or suggestions from the genuine content creator but these were not for the trading. I used to take their advice or suggestions for only gaining my skills and knowledge. If you are seeing these kind of content creators then you will see them firstly they will give you free signal then ask for the VIP signal for the subscriptions hypocrisy. This is never suggest to do trading with these kinds of signals

I don't think I have, to let other people's suggestions influence mine when I know that, I am taking the risk of investment, not them. If I am to have a loss of investment, not them would it pained the most, it's me, to take the very responsibility and the blame.
Learning about the risk involved in investing in crypto has taught me a lot, not to listen to any content creators when the analyze the market or give any remark about a coin because the real fact of everything is that they are doing for the views and the pay

Some people may also still have difficulty finding mentors in the world of trading, so there are some of them who use advice from a content creator to learn more and try something new for the audience... this may sound strange, but some people are just getting involved. The crypto world certainly feels confused about how to start... I think there are still people who have no other choice and are forced to try something said by a content creator to expand their learning horizons and knowledge in the world of trading, investment and speculation.
-
Most content creators do not have any sort of any useful advice to give you because they are too busy optimizing the content to make them more money, so those people do not necessarily have your best interest in their mind, but will just say whatever they want.
And the thing is, the ones that do, you can tell them apart really quickly - they are honest, they engage with followers in comments, they do not promote scams etc.
-

True.
Gone are the good early days when they create posts honestly and I remember I learnt alot about bitcoin from them. It seems that there is a great change in the cryptocurrency industry and everyone is on the run about the money. This is the reason pump and dump schemes are still not a thing of the past. Shilling of projects has entered into the hands of trusted organisations making it difficult for an ordinary user to differentiate between a legit and a scam projects. Even the popular slogan of DYOR, it is not everyone that knows the right places to do research. So, there must surely be victims in as much as the market continues to exist.

That's one of the problems with other content creators, they're blinded by money. They don't care what it does to their followers as long as they make money. Back then it was a lot of money to make content but now there's difficulty and because they get money from promoting the project they do it even though they know it's not legit. It's heart-breaking to their followers.

Crypto is still a new market, so finding serious advice can be quite difficult, even when it's a paid service. This also makes many people like to join VIP groups to receive investment advice: they just need the ticker of a few tokens to buy. Even if those VIP groups have training programs, they don't spend much time learning technical analysis or fundamental analysis. They just want to invest and make a profit based on the experience of others. They are even happy to share 30% of the profits with these VIP groups.
I also cannot make any judgments about this group of investors: they have money but lack time and seriousness in the market. I just hope that they will meet a KOL who has enough enthusiasm, experience and kindness to support them on their investment journey.
-
Paying attention to what someone who has received money from a company for speaking well of that company's product says is one of the biggest stupid things any investor can do. Investments should always be decided based on our own judgment and ability to take risks, not what someone who lives in a rosy world says. A possible analogy with not your keys nor your coins could be: not your decision nor your investment. I think it's as simple as that.
-

If someone wants to lose money then he/she should follow those social media influencers but if someone wants to make profits as a trader or as an investor then he/she should do his/her own research and take good decisions only.
As an investor or trader, you must be able to do independent research and not depend on other people such as influencers.
Some influencers do do the job to seek more profits without thinking about others and such influencers should be tagged.
But several other influencers provide education so that they can be better at trading and becoming investors.

Have any of you here followed the suggestions given by content creators on social media which can be obtained for free? And how big an impact does the decision-making method of using influencer references have on your finances?
I do not believe in these kinds of influencers and content creators. Instead, I use my own mind to analyze and then make decisions on what to do and what not to do. These people on YouTube are not here to provide benefits for others, but they are here to find more viewers. For that, they make such spicy thumbnails which attract others. However, when you watch their content, there is nothing special. There are some content creators, but they are very few in number, who create quality content and their only aim is to provide authentic information to their subscribers.
-
I was a fan of listening to content creators about bitcoin but doesn't mean I'm a 100% following their due process.
I've always make my research to compare the the creator was all by that strategy by himself alone or it's a legitimate which other Investors are also practicing before then I can proceed.
-
I don't even have a list of content creator or influencer or whatever they call it. I mean they are just making guesses that you and I can make. And you can also do your own investigations, so why not listen or believed in them. And maybe it's just me, but I do love to learn by myself itself of going and watching videos done by others and for obvious reasons, they are just shilling their favorite crypto and so you might be suckered by this individuals to invest and so they are going to make profits. Maybe you can learn a thing or two, but you should used your own strategy too.

If I experience difficulties and need help, then I will look for it wherever there is and be able to provide a solution. That's all I do.
But I'm not a fan of listening to content about bitcoin because, for me, there are a lot of forums that can provide help. But I agree and just like you will not want to listen to any advice from content creators without comparative analysis on forums or from my own analysis, if possible, I should look at it, because we must need comparisons so as not to fall into error.

If there is a believe i hold strong in cryptocurrency is that, making your own research is better than taking investment decisions from anyone, though they might be correct with their predictions, but you cannot alway rely on someone else's analysis, not knowing how they got it or from the source in which the used in compiling their analysis. It best to ask for directive and learn to research yourself so you can be independent and can swiftly apply same knowledge to any other project you come across. Those social media influencers might make predictions based in their knowledge or they might even hype a project more than its potential. However we have to be careful with what we take into consideration even even if you might take some predictions from an influencer or any crypto analyst, the best thing to do is to use their prediction and make comparison with yours.

"Mastering Bitcoin" is indeed one of the best resources to recommend to anyone seeking a deeper understanding of the Blockchain Technology.
There are also other great books from the same Author that can also be quite helpful tools, books like, "The internet of Money" the book talks about the collection of talks that points to how significant Bitcoin is and why it really matters, and the book has up to 3 volumes.
Andreas Antonopoulos is indeed a brilliant mind when it comes to Bitcoin and the Cryptocurrency space, and his books are actual proofs of his expertise.

Have any of you here followed the suggestions given by content creators on social media which can be obtained for free? And how big an impact does the decision-making method of using influencer references have on your finances?
The best free content is a good book
Take a look at Mastering bitcoin, by antonopoulos.
He explains how blockchain works, understanding it will allow you to make better evaluation of projects
https://github.com/bitcoinbook/bitcoinbook/
Even though at first I wasn't referring to a book... but what you explained is true, that this book is free and worth reading... at first I was more sarcastic about the existence of TikTok or YouTube influencers who get money from their followers... but Antonopoulos changed my thinking...
I honestly didn't know this free book existed, and after realizing it, this seems like free content that should be prioritized, rather than hearing an artist babble on about analysis or predictions.
-
He made a lot of good content, so you should definitely check his content more. Just remember that an exception always exist, so your opinion that influencers prioritize money more than good content is not necessarily wrong.
rather than hearing an artist babble on about analysis or predictions.
That's true, but the fact that those influencers continue making those content means it sell well. The majority of viewers probably don't want to spend a lot of time learning things so they just look for quick and shallow advice.
-
As an investor or trader, you must be able to do independent research and not depend on other people such as influencers.
Some influencers do do the job to seek more profits without thinking about others and such influencers should be tagged.
Agree. It is a must to have the ability of doing a research. It is strange if a professional trader/investor relies on influencers. Every time we want to buy coins, we must do own research firstly. How we determine whether it is a good coin or bad coin if we can't do a research? But to have the ability of doing research, we must have good knowledge.
But several other influencers provide education so that they can be better at trading and becoming investors.
Even if the influencers educate people, they are not impossible to do mistakes. They are also human, they can make the wrong analysis, too. The best way is to do own research, we won't regret it if it is based on our own analysis.

I used to do that in the past and I lost a lot of money because many of these content creators are just shills and promoters of these coins, They are being paid to promote these new coins and tokens you can obtain it free but they are actually shilling these tokens.
Because of these, I prefer to do my own diligence and make comparisons, instead of trusting these influencers, its my money anyway.

Trusting these influencers is like wasting your own money with your own hands. These kinds of influencers do want to benefit from their traffic, but they want to utilize the public for their own interests. They give false predictions about coins, and the public starts investing in these coins without any research because they trust them. The public needs to understand that these influencers are paid for promotions, so don't listen to their false predictions. Instead, use your own mind, as God has given it to you, and do the right things. Stop depending on other brains.

This could be one of the reasons why the majority of investors make mistakes and suffer losses in this market even though BTC price has been continuously increasing through each cycle. What is more concerning is that KOLs often have sound advice in the early stages of a bullrun but become too FOMO and blinded at the hottest point of the market and often advise their followers to continue buying and holding to the moon @@
I encourage investors to do their own research on the market and only use the free advice on the internet as reference information to make it easier to make decisions. Equally important, investors will always be financially responsible for their own decisions to gain experience for the future, blaming KOLs does not bring any value.

No doubt, trust the content creator's advice the same with wasting our money and how much out time loss by watching their nonsense about cryptocurrency.
I believe the decision of content creator how to make engagement and their content get higher traffic, they not care about what did said its true or related about cryptocurrency or not.
Many content creator currently as hype moment awhile, when bitcoin success break out the new higher price many attend or content creator discussing about cryptocurrency on their channel but most of them lack knowledge about cryptocurrency before.

If a person is following the advice of a content creator then that person is very much the same as a puppet who only do things what others make you to do. Well, there's nothing wrong when you want to know the advice that the content creator give which you can compare to your own steps. In short, you are only getting information from different sources either from a content creator or from a website.

Note that not all advice or directives from the content creators or influencers are wrong, sometimes they can actually help investors stay informed with legit and authentic news and information concerning the crypto market, but that's not to say that one should follow them blindly, without first conducting their own personal research,
We should try to strike a balance between listening and following their advice and conducting your own research. Thankfully, There are several sources online that one can verify information that we hear from somewhere or not sure of, so we should do more to use these sources to validate and evaluate the authenticity of the information we receive from these content creators.
Rather than following their guidance blindly, let's consider them instead to be more a a starting point, providing us with the help we need to conduct our own research.

Agree, it's okay to accept advice from the content creator, but don't focus on just one person who gives advice but compare it with education from others too. Not necessarily what the content creator says is true, but we should compare it with others too. Of course, in the end, we ourselves determine whether we deserve to accept all of that or just with what we do.
Of course, all the best sources we will use and, if I personally, prefer to use what we may have modified between the good ones and what we have.

I try to stay away from suggestions/predictions stuff as much as possible as I feel it don't have any value.
But, if somehow I watched such stuff accidently then it's likely I'll be influenced even though not willingly.

Generally something that you never even thought about, shouldn't affect your decision at all... it might just be a distraction, but it should never be something that has a big impact on your decision making...
it seems like from now on you will pay more attention to every step you take... even if you see some predictions, you should start to close your eyes and not take them seriously.
-
Some and not all should be followed from some of these content creators, many of them were doing what they were asked to do because of being paid for that same particular purpose, we also have to have an idea in knowing and decerning from what is expected and not, we cannot randomly accept in whatever we receive on the social media from some of these content creators, we need to know how to examine for the best of them which were with reliable information that are not misleading.

Not all the content creators are given the right informations, some were just there to make their own way through and pass anyhow information to the public without considering any negative effect from what they are giving, we can also to an extent trust in some other few, because we are very sure of the way they give out informations with an overtime consistencies of accurate disseminations or content creations..

Another logic that makes sense for content creators who often provide predictions is... if they have accurate predictions, then they should be kept secret and seek their own benefit through the predictions... not to be disseminated to the public just to get viewers and a little money from advertising programs....
So, predictions do sometimes raise many questions... but what we can take is another point concerning analysis... sometimes as humans we have missed something important because in scanning details, we also often make mistakes... analysis from content creators can be used as other materials to study related coins... and it can also be used as good supporting data for conducting cryptocurrency analysis.

I think all people in the world never want their earning secrets to be known by others. And if you look at content creators, you'll see even more. They just need views for getting more ads and click and that is how there income increase. So in these cases you will also see on their content they will make the title and introduction with very attractive so that people can click their content.
So if one person want to believe those content creator for investing in crypto I will say they must be face losses in most cases.

Once one becomes experienced enough, the very same titles these CC make to bait viewers become red flags to stay away from.

eah, many of them don't even understand blockchain technology and how to use a crypto wallet. All they have is millions of subscribers and the excitement of making quick profits from investing in crypto during bullrun. To me, they're a danger to retail investors because they don't have enough knowledge and experience to share with their fans.
Experienced investors often have high-quality videos but sometimes they don't know how to do media so they can't reach investors and loyal audiences. However, I see that as a good thing because only those who really need knowledge and news deserve to have them to make profits in this market. The crowd will always lose to feed this market!

Have any of you here followed the suggestions given by content creators on social media which can be obtained for free? And how big an impact does the decision-making method of using influencer references have on your finances?
Personally, I listen to some of them so I can internalize the things they are saying and for me to compare whatever ideas they are sharing to what I know and what others are also saying. I don't necessarily follow what they are telling people as I am always taking any idea from these people with grain of salt...all because they are just here to get the traffic to their videos so they can earn some money. Most of them - if not all- are just also speculators just like all of us although I would say, in fairness, that there are some who are really knowledgeable to the subject of cryptocurrency.

Everything is returned to the individual to be able to determine whether they want to accept it or not, because the person who will receive the impact is themselves. There are things we can accept and there are things we cannot accept, but it is better to adapt it to the perception we really want to get.
I also have to say that what you are saying is something that happens, that many people are speculators, no different from people who are just learning and knowing, but want to benefit from the shows made on their channels. It is not impossible that there are indeed experts in crypto who can provide good education.
-
Honestly, we have to be careful from what we received from the online content creators because not all of them were as reliable source of information to that extent, but when we are hearing some from a reliable source in which we are sure of their consistent accurate information dissemination, we may take them and also research further from there, internet today is full of various information which could misguide us if we are not careful on their sources.

To me the contention of the content creators is just to display advertisements that a particular coin do exist then I jects out to make research about the coin.
I don't seat longer listening to their decorated overwhelming talking of hyping the coins even though the coin does not have the potentials.
Infact, most content creators are more of self interests and not with t be trusted.

It must be admitted that there are indeed those like you said, but there are also those who do not and do intend to provide education, although all of them are not and may not necessarily match between themselves and those who listen. For that, always sort it out as best as possible and adjust it to our needs, because it will not be the same for him and for others.
I think that if the content creator has a certain mission, then it is not impossible that what you say can happen because it is indeed intended for him and those who sponsor him.

Yes, and of course they will refer to the coins they support other than Bitcoin, because Bitcoin is the main coin that is supported by everyone.
Some content created by influencers will target ordinary people to follow them to choose the same type of project that is recommended.
But there are also some honest influencers who really educate how to choose a good project and how to do trading.
I also often watch on YouTube and see various content on X to add to my insights.

Unfortunately, there are some people who are investing into the project that these influencers are recommending because they're just following them. I mean I don't know the logic why there are still people who are relying on these influencers' recommendation of projects and invest on them not thinking of the possible risks that they might face. Relying on these influencers is like throwing your money away.

I don't know if it's me only, but I hate those influencers that are promoting new projects or even a particular project on their channel. It's pretty obvious that they're doing it for money, but why tarnish their reputation through promoting these projects especially those new ones that has a high chance of scamming investors. Anyway, they don't care because they will not be blamed once that project that they promoted on their channel became a scam project because they say "THIS IS NOT A FINANCIAL ADVISE" blah blah blah. :D

There will always be people who follow the investment advice of influencers, because their target is people who don't really know how investing in crypto works.
Those who are beginners will only look for people who look smart in crypto and have a lot of followers and quite interesting content.
-
I don't trust wholly them. I watch them for entertaining purposes only and for some updates in the market and news. But about advising what to do on the current state of the market, I am not following any of their advice, what to buy and what to do. We've got our own brains but if you think that advices coming from them are quite good enough then that means that it's totally fine for you to absorb their teachings and advices, I might just pick some of the helpful but not all of it are.

That's the problem right now. They're being mislead by these "SMART" influencers, and they're attracting their newbie followers to buy the token that they're promoting because after all, they got paid, and they need to do what the project owners said to.
This is why we always say to newbies here and there that they should not invest first if they're lacking knowledge, but they can easily get attracted by the profits that they're seeing online. These influencers aren't smart at all. I've watched some influencers in the past that are promoting new projects (although I didn't invest into any of them), and they're just reading what's on the website, and just adding some flowery words so that these newbies will be attracted hence, investing to it.
It's just sad that we are seeing newbies getting scammed indirectly because of these influencers, but I guess that's how investing works.

I don't know how investment works that you think is interesting, but influencers are needed in any promotion to reach a large audience.
It's like a hoax of all that will only be good at the beginning and then will only pay off for making the wrong choice due to the influencer's influence. I wish there were more beginners who needed to learn how to avoid financial advice from others and stick to their research.

In this social media era the influencers are cheap but most effective way to reach wide range of audience but countries haver certain laws too regarding promotions even if youtube allows them but now cyber laws are still in the early stages on most countries these influencers dump every crap into their audience just to make some money. It might change is government tighten their ends.
From our side, we can enjoy their contents but don't take them seriously.

Enjoy their content and taking which one side advantage or useful for us, but never get seriously with their content because most of influencer just want to get high attention with their content with lack knowledge about what they are publishing.
Influencer is the faster way how to get engagement from many people interested for watching their content, during have high traffic with their content make them earn much profitable from advertising although most of video publishing still not related with cryptocurrency.

Another logic that makes sense for content creators who often provide predictions is... if they have accurate predictions, then they should be kept secret and seek their own benefit through the predictions... not to be disseminated to the public just to get viewers and a little money from advertising programs....

Yes this is good point. If someone has correct prediction they should use it to make money for themselves not just share it to get more views and ad money. This makes us wonder why they are sharing their predictions. But I think analysis from content creators can be helpful.
Their ideas can give us more information to think about when we are studying about cryptocurrencies. By looking at many different views and analysis we can make good decisions and will not miss important things. We should be careful and think about why content creators are sharing their predictions and analysis. If there is purpose of getting views so we should leave them or if they are giving good predictions so we should follow them to make some good decisions.

The most effective way is to use influencers to reach a large audience that might be able to attract many who want to follow according to what has been said, and But this is not a difficult thing to be able to make many people tempted because of its prestige. But once again, as those who understand should still filter, whether it is worth following or not if as a beginner it could be a trap for them. Everything must be filtered well and analyzed not everything they say is guaranteed to be the best way that can be accepted.
-
From our side, we can enjoy their contents but don't take them seriously.
And it also has to be sleek enough to choose which influencers or content creators we want to follow or not. Because, after all, their content is what we will see when scrolling through the media. Yes, indeed, as long as we have a strong determination and self-confidence not to be easily influenced by creators, but that doesn't mean we will never be influenced.
But this is, if we already understand, we shouldn't be easily influenced by what the creators say easily. However, this will be different if taken by beginners who are just starting to learn. They will usually look for creators or influencers in this field, and follow all their directions. This is what needs to be watched out for because not all influencers are really right in conveying things related to crypto and their projects.
-

As long as the opinion of the influencer can still be considered as supporting data for making decisions, it's still okay. Sometimes the information conveyed by other people, we haven't thought of in making decisions... that's why we have to increase supporting data from many sources.... the unpredictable market, sometimes influenced by unexpected information too, so there's nothing wrong if we use their data for our information support needs...
And the habit of influencers who care too much about views for content monetization, will be clearly visible over time... the longer they are around, the more people start to leave them. So, your experience in managing information will also develop.
