Why does the crypto community seem so pliable and immediately start glorifying public figures, only if he mentions Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies?
One of the most respected examples, Elon Musk, gave public support to Dogecoin, and the final impression was that he only manipulated, made additional income and possibly promoted his brands.
We have had a slight euphoria about Trump for some time now. I don't want to go into how much weight his words have, but it is remarkable how much the crypto community interprets everything he says, and various discussions about what he will do regarding crypto in the future. Meme coins with his image and name are being created, I even saw signatures in support of Trump on the Bitcointalk forum. I will not even talk about spam on social networks.
Isn't that quite an exaggeration?
Why is the crypto community so susceptible to manipulation?

Why is the crypto community so susceptible to manipulation?
I am unbothered by these public figures. Bitcoin at this point in time didn't need public figures, maybe ten years ago, but not now; its actually the other way around.
They are the ones who need Bitcoin, The market is susceptible to manipulation because investors are swayed by the expectation of profit, FOMO and fear of losing because of whales selling out, so many investors still have second thought on the future of Bitcoin and to Cryptocurrency as a whole.
-
Its just social media. No.one really jumping out of joy for it like it meant the world. Social media influencers and holders just magnify the hype because there is a reason to do it.
When there is a hack or distribution of BTC from Mt.gox or FTX the fuds are also rising to spread the fear for same reason which is profit. Users participate for it.
-
Why is the crypto community so susceptible to manipulation?
Probably because the cryptocurrency community is made of the same people who are normal and generally speaking can easily be swayed by opinions of others...just like most people are. We are already living in a very interconnected world where what one person is saying in USA can have some effects on some people in Nigeria...and it is all because of the internet and communication infrastructure we are using. And cryptocurrency is not really immune to this reality...in fact I would say that cryptocurrency is actually getting some part of its power with that situation. The cryptocurrency can never live in a bubble completely oblivious with things happening in the world...many of the things happening right now can affect cryptocurrency in one way or another. So maybe instead of viewing this reality as a negative one, there is nothing we can do but embrace it with some pinch of salt.

It's hard to give a specific reason for that because like you, I don't also know what's the main reason for it, but what I believe is that, people see these kind of things as a positive one hence, the sentiment around the market changes and many people will buy coins. It's our nature I guess that's why many investors are making decisions if they see a popular one talking about cryptocurrency.
What I always believe is that, sentiment is a huge factor towards the price of a specific asset. If majority of the investor sees it as a positive one, they will buy thus, increasing it's price and vice-versa. I don't know what's the exact reason, but what I would like to say is that, investors must be intelligent enough to not make their decisions just because a popular person is talking about crypto.
I remembered the time in 2017 where McAfee is that popular in social media that he's promoting new projects for his own good. Sorry for my word, but that's how dumb people is at that time, and many lost their money because of that.

It's not new though, there are others assets in the past that people goes crazy when they see the someone invest on their company or a certain assets. Th thing though with crypto is that it is open to anyone, as compare to stocks wherein there is this idea that only the rich people can invest.
And this market is full of so called influencer, you guys remember John McAfee? (RIP), he was a good poster boy for crypto back then. Now we have Michael Saylor and Elon Musk and then the future President of the USA. So I guess this will continue, the community will have to find famous individuals to join the cause.
-
Isn't that quite an exaggeration?
Why is the crypto community so susceptible to manipulation?
Because some people only care about short-term profit and ignore "Don't Trust, Verify" motto. Public figure supporting certain coin usually have impact on the coin, at least on the short-term.

Bitcoin reached $70k without Trump's help, I don't see why it matters that he will speak at a congress and say that Bitcoin is a good thing.
The same thing happened with Musk, who announced that his company would accept crypto, only to announce a little later that he was selling crypto because Bitcoin mining consumes too much electricity.
In the end, I do not like at all that one entity (like the US government) holds a large amount of Bitcoin, and they certainly have the capacity for it.
Because some people only care about short-term profit and ignore "Don't Trust, Verify" motto. Public figure supporting certain coin usually have impact on the coin, at least on the short-term.
This is probably the closest to reality, most people are satisfied to earn some money in a few days, doing nothing.
-
In communities where there are minorities, we always find that they have a sense of inferiority, so they feel very happy if a public figure supports them and stands by them, they immediately start feeling proud and arrogant and magnify the event and start glorifying the public figures who supported them.
Perhaps the same thing applies to the cryptocurrency community, which feels that governments are constantly rejecting and persecuting them through bans, restrictions, strict regulations, etc., so I expect that they find great strength and a sense of victory when famous figures like Elon Musk or Trump or others support them and talk about cryptocurrencies in a positive way.
-
Once a bullish voice is uttered by a figure, it is a rare short-term opportunity to make as much profit as possible. Conversely, I think almost everyone knows how to play and take a stand. We no longer assume that the influence of such figures lasts in the long term unless their decisions involve many people with delegation or consensus.
-
Well it depends on where and how the community receive the news, because, at a point when such news is posted in crypto communities, not everyone finds them attractive since they already have the basic knowledge and also may not want to engage is such discussions, but while many others will fine such news so exciting and will share it on the streamline as many times as possible to make the news goes viral.
Just like the trump crypto speech which spike up a lot of discussions on social media and this could be positive and negative impact on the entire crypto environments.
-
Isn't that quite an exaggeration?
Why is the crypto community so susceptible to manipulation?
It's not really manipulation but the "community" has learned that good news brings better prices, and better prices mean more $, so as I said before some will cheer up even if Hitler returned from the grave as long as it will make Bitcoin legal tender in the 5th Reich. Indeed a weird situation where promises are labeled as already done facts and negative news is instantly labeled as FUD, but it seems like the community has ended in a place where there's more trust and less verification.
-
I think most people are conditioned to follow influential people at a young age. You got celebrities hired by advertisers to promote whatever and their fans would buy without much thought about the product. It's the same effect with the hype/fud created when a famous one speaks positively/negatively about crypto.

Yeah that is part of manipulation or traffic especially when they are paid to do so. Influencial people like Elon and other reputable individuals can affect a specific coin or token. It's all about benefits someone or somebody is after because they want something good in favor of them.
-
I think they probably have a Somewhat Admiration for who they are following. It’s like oh they have the same likes and dislikes, and then you start to develop this intimacy with them and then can get manipulated because of it.
It’s crazy to have that kind of mindset and be controlled by anyone. We should be careful.
-
Famous and influential public figures will certainly have an impact when they talk about Bitcoin and cryptocurrency.
And of course this is liked by many people here, because what important people like Elon Musk or Trump say can have an impact on the price movements of crypto coins.
However, we should not be too influenced by such crowds, we must still be careful in investing or trading cryptocurrency.

You're absolutely right! When big influencers like Elon Musk or Trump discuss bitcoin and cryptocurrency, it is without doubt that it can certainly sway the market and create quite the buzz. Their recommendations can influence the public and the prices as well. On the other hand, one must not get too carried away with the prospects of the affair. This simply means that we should not develop our investment decisions based on their opinions alone as significant as they may be. People must not blindly follow influencers and news but must educate themselves and necessary evaluations and conclusions when involved in investing or trading digital assets. Those who blindly follow the crowd and those who spend a great amount of money to get celebrity endorsement are likely to make wrong decisions that may endanger their capital

These people are business people, of course what they do is for their own benefit too. If we get caught up in this, we could end up getting caught up in losses.
So we have to make decisions quickly if we see a good potential, and quickly take advantage of it and leave.
Remember, everyone's goal here is to make more money, do it as much as we can and don't depend on others.
-
When a public figure/expert is mentioned, we get acceptance: support: positive energy. There is a buzz in the Bitcoin market. But if we look at the other side of the story, we also feel fear. It is important to note where the public figure's mention on Bitcoin is leading.
-
Let's just be thankful that when people discuss about crypto currency then it makes a buzz or some kind of trend that will surely a good benefit to all of crypto enthusiast. Anyway, we should be very careful as what crwth said about mindset and being controlled.

I couldn't agree more with you on this.
They're all business men, and in this business, it's all man for himself, and being naive and ignorant of this fact could have detrimental effects on the person. That being said, it's important for everyone to always stay vigilant and always at alert rather than jumping or getting caught up in their words, because that's the only way we can try to avoid unintended and unforeseen losses in the market, while capitalizing on available opportunities.

One of the most respected examples, Elon Musk, gave public support to Dogecoin, and the final impression was that he only manipulated, made additional income and possibly promoted his brands.
Because the influence of public figures and famous influencers is very high on their followers. Imagine, the more followers you have who already follow you and they trust you, then whatever you say and inform, they will pay very much attention even though sometimes they don't even understand what it is. And that often happens, just following the trend of influencers or their idol public figures without understanding what they will do. This is the role of influencers and public figures that are often used for various specific promotions, including when talking about Bitcoin and others.
And even in my opinion, there are some public figures who created crypto project tokens. And you know what happened? They targeted very high sales and it worked. And what's even more surprising is that most of their investors are their fans who don't even understand anything about crypto. They just follow the direction of the artist and finally deposit their money in the hope that their money can multiply in profit as informed by the artist. And in the end, the project immediately rugpull shortly after listing. And there were a lot of protests here and there asking for money to be returned and others. That's the importance of when we idolize something, we still have to use our brains to think.

Influencers can indeed manipulate the market, but not as much as whales or professional investors...
Influencers with a large following who do not have an investment background or cryptocurrency background have an impact, but the bigger impact is people with high finances, super rich people, or world-class famous investors...they have a big influence on small investors, because they are the ones who control the trend...
However, in the investment world, people with big influence are usually prohibited by the government from tweeting or revealing which stocks they buy... because this has a big influence on market manipulation which is also considered a danger for some people.
-
Isn't that quite an exaggeration?
Why is the crypto community so susceptible to manipulation?
People hope that some famous person will embrace bitcoin and price will skyrocket x10 like it used to do
This won't happen anymore imo...
Ecosystem is much more mature and one public figure (even trump) cannot control the price like it used to be. He can influence for some time, but not definitely
-
Why is the crypto community so susceptible to manipulation?
It is the same thing in all markets, not just for crypto markets and community.
Maybe it is easier for average guy to participate in crypto manipulation by holding and trading coins, so manipulations are easier for crypto community.
Not everyone can own and trade gold and stocks, but everyone can own a fraction of crypto coins and register on exchange to trade.
Other assets didnt have such a big grow like bitcoin so that is another reason for being susceptible to manipulation.
-
I am not really in any way frightened by those mentions because I know that any side effect on Bitcoin definitely has a way of favouring those who are stand by to take position and you know what? Bitcoin definitely bounces back irrespective of whatever happens.
Looking at the likes of Elon Musk, Donald Trump and co., these men are captains of industries that are globally recognised and the revenue they generate is far higher than the budget of some nations. This is mostly some reasons why they talk because they are believed to practice what they say. For instance, Elon Musk render services in the automobile with his electronic cars, ICT and etc. It is assumed that his organisation would definitely accept Crypto currency so when ever he speaks publicly in favour of Crypto, it has a side effect likewise Donald Trump . These men made industries that are world class and have input in every aspect of the world economy and power. So what ever the say affects the Crypto market directly or indirectly. But I believe with time when Bitcoin is fully stabilised in the economy of nations and have a legal tender power globally, it would be different from what happens when and difficult for influencers to go on air to make a statement just to influence the market value of Bitcoin.

For those who just entered Bitcoin at a price that is already expensive like this, they will say that. But for those who entered Bitcoin when the price was worth $10, they have already received a very large increase in profit. From this movement we can see that Bitcoin requires a fairly long process to become this expensive. So patience is very important when you want to trade in Bitcoin.

It is not just a matter of patience.
Bitcoin won't go from 60k to 1million. That is very unlikely to happen again.
Gains are not going to be the same as they were 7-10 years ago.
The Market Cap is already too big. The president of the united states is talking about it.... Huge gains like 10000% were much more likely to happen when nobody was talking about it... but the risk was much higher
-
Public figure has quite a big influence, especially since their interest in bitcoin can have a good impact or good news, many people excited with US president candidate Donald Trump after his promising when becoming US president will make bitcoin as legal transaction and I think this main reason why most euphoria when bigger of public figure mentions about bitcoin.
Significant impact with public figure help bitcoin or altcoin reach higher price, did you memorize how easily Doge coins pump drastically after mention and promising by top public figure Elon Musk, since price shit until success reach almost $1 and many people take much benefit from him.

We cannot deny that public figures have a big influence on something, including cryptocurrency, especially bitcoin. So when there is a figure who supports bitcoin, then we will welcome it.
Because they are followed by many people, when the figure starts to say something, his followers will start to find out what the figure said. And not infrequently it opens the way for people who are new to bitcoin.

Well, another of those guys that have become like the new Jesus is disagreeing with you:
https://cointelegraph.com/news/michael-saylor-ups-bitcoin-price-forecast-13-million-mega-bullish-keynote-bitcoin-2024
“It could be a $3 million bear case, it could be a $49 million bull case,” according to Saylor, who urged listeners at the Nashville, Tennessee event to become “triple maxi” Bitcoin bulls.
How can it be done, simple, we need to sell mortgages on our houses, buy Bitcoins, and everyone is a millionaire.
Now, I'm pretty sure than in normal times everyone would have screamed Ponzi or MLM scheme when hearing of this plan, but nowadays, laser eyes and lambos!
“You financed the house for Bitcoin, you buy Bitcoin, you flip all your assets to Bitcoin, and then you move to a cheap tax jurisdiction where you actually can avoid some taxes and invest an extra fifty grand in Bitcoin,” Saylor explained. “What’s the result?” A net worth of some $214 million, according to Saylor, who recommends a similar strategy for corporations and nation-states.

Lol, what a crazy guy.
I don't think anyone should be doing that right now.
Although I am very bullish for bitcoin in mid-term, and I think it will go beyond 100k or even 150k, I don't think anyone should sell their houses to buy bitcoin.
Bitcoin might not be that risky anymore, but it has a very high volatility

Something like that happened. There was euphoria about Trump's performance at congress, everything was caused by just a few days of price growth, they touched approximately $70k, and now after all everything has returned to the same level as before "Trump's support for crypto-currencies".
I sincerely hope that there will be less of this in the future, it is a bit tiresome to read everywhere only about Trump and Nashville

There's nothing we can do but we would really be heading there on which there would really be those sentiments that would really be that in connection and this what makes that it would really be neither having that effect into the market movement or not. We've seen that recently about Trump thing but look at on what happened on the market? We've known
that there's that bullish approach about Trumps support to crypto but look at on where we are now? This is why when you do step into this market then
you should really expect the unexpected as always.

You will generally find that crypto HODLers support public figures who are against big government since it is widely known that most of the world's governments hate Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies and would like noting more than to ban those coins. So these public figures take advantage of the bad press and say good things about crypto to enhance their reputation, even if they turn out to be smarmy people on the inside.
Why is the crypto community so susceptible to manipulation?
The crypto community divided by trading analysis and sweet talk gives you a numerical price, that's why.
-
Public figures can create trends and will have a positive impact on crypto, but here we have to focus on monitoring if we are careless we will lose, so when crypto goes up we take a position to take advantage. because public figures only manipulate the market and they take personal advantage after they profit they will make news that makes the price go down, that's the cycle of public figures in the crypto world in my opinion

Why is the crypto community so susceptible to manipulation?
You ask a very good question that has fascinated me personally for a very long time. In countless discussions over the years on BTT, and recently also here, I realized that many people are simply looking for a leader who will tell them what to do - and if that person is also extremely rich (powerful), then he becomes their role model.
The fact is that Bitcoin has no "leader" after Satoshi retreated into the shadows, and apart from the fact that many often complain that 21 million BTC is too few coins, most are obsessed with his identity and with the possibility that he will appear one day.
When Mr. Mars or Mr. Donald Do Not Trust say something about Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies in general from their positions, it has the effect of throwing a bone to a dog (without offending anyone). When we think about it, rich people are rich because they mostly cheat the system and exploit everyone around them, and politicians mostly pave their way to the top with false promises, so I also wonder why anyone would get so excited about what they are talking about?
-

This is probably the most accurate definition of the whole thing.

Only on the Bitcointalk forum have I seen people who have done much more for Bitcoin and its promotion than the aforementioned backdoors and their ilk. And that was from the time when Bitcoin was trivial to most civilians.

Because these manipulators will make money and those who will be manipulated will lose money. Now why crypto community is so exposed to this manipulation is because most of the members know that if they will create hype and will become a part of the hype that Donald Trump will make crypto more bullish then they will also make a profit. I have seen how members were talking about Donald and that the shot event caused a great pump.
All were praising Trump and now they are considering him a way to start a bullish event in crypto and if this manipulation and hype become successful then many members will make a profit so that's why no one is talking about not focusing on one entity too much for a decentralized item.

I think we are at the peak of idiocy when it comes to looking into the mouths of public figures and what they will say in favour of crypto-currencies.
Now the son of Donald Trump (Donald Trump Jr) has started to announce big things and wants to get in the riding saddle of the crypto community. Sadly, he's doing great. :-[
(https://talkimg.com/images/2024/08/09/54TRD.png)
It's even worse that portals like bitcoin.com join in and announce this as 'huge' news. :(
I think I might drop them from my list of reliable crypto news sources.

Yeah, he's doing great, accepting Cryptocurrency and the opportunities that comes with it is the best decision anyone could take. Well, people would say the trump family might recently be using the praise for Bitcoin and other Cryptocurrencies for their political agenda, but in one way or the other, it's a win for Cryptocurrency cause based on their influence it would further attract more investors to Cryptocurrency but then I think the world through technology has evolved past those times when people Would be depending on motivations from public figures about certain opportunities before they jump into it, Cryptocurrency is the new trend when it comes to finance so all netizens should've been able to research about this new trend and jump on it without waiting for the influence of anyone, moreover most of these public figures are paid to influence shit coins.

It's just a matter of manipulation to benefit himself. It doesn't matter politically or financially, but everything is exclusively for their ass.
I just read that Putin has already signed a new law on the acceptance of Bitcoin as well as the legalization of mining in Russia. So a concrete thing, without drama on Twitter or various conferences. OK, he does not need popularity, he has other methods for that :(, but the fact is that he has done more in one day than everything Trump has said so far.

Why does the crypto community seem so pliable and immediately start glorifying public figures, only if he mentions Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies?
Public figures or celebrities or top politicians have a very huge influence on people because they are very successful. This is one of the benefits that being successful has because whenever you have an opinion or you have a suggestion on a topic people will always take it seriously, even better than the opinion of a poor man who has no results of success to show. When a public figure talks about bitcoin, the crypto community understands the influence that their opinions has and this is why they glorify them and there is a euphoria around it.
-
Why does the crypto community seem so pliable and immediately start glorifying public figures, only if he mentions Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies?
We are so vulnerable to such manipulation because we take things for granted like the words of Trump who knows if he is true or not? I have also observed this thing that when people attach their hopes to one person or one event that they think will make the situation for market much better then nothing good happens really. I mean it's not that simple to judge the price of BTC that if Trump wins market will pump.
Who can give a guarantee that the market will pump if he wins? It's just a sentiment or a fud maybe being spread among people so they will buy more and then expect a pump. If there is none they will become a victim of this fud or either due to this fud there will be more buying and price will automatically go up.
-
Lol, what a crazy guy.
I will gladly sell my house and buy Bitcoin but unless I can see Bitcoin right under $10k. :P Is that even possible right now? I doubt if Bitcoin will ever go that low, that means we will possibly be seeing third world War by then maybe and institutional investors might want to panic and sell but even with that, is it really possible? Because I doubt.
Bitcoin is now too popular around the neck of influencers, I just hope it goes where Satoshi dream of it but I think a time will come when the influence will no longer matter again especially when all this promises of elections are not actualize later in the future, I don't trust politicians and there words.

Rich people got so much influence and everyone wanted to become rich admire then, follow them and sometimes takes blind chances even if they don't have any idea what they're doing and that's the power of being rich.
It's subtle but looks exaggerated cause the crypto community is relatively smaller than conventional investments and this or bitcointalk is crypto forum so any news about crypto will be a topic for discussion.
-
Why does the crypto community seem so pliable and immediately start glorifying public figures, only if he mentions Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies?
This is simply because so many people out there were yet to understand their intentions for doing this, they knew that once they supported what we want, they will get our attention on them and vote for them, this is politics, but in bitcoin network, we don't do such and we are not centralized or embedded in politics terms and philosophy, we are going to vote genuinely because its our right to do so on the right candidate we thing so, but not because of what they are saying about bitcoin or any related cryptocurrency.

Simple, rich people have many influence and easily what they are saying follow by the other, its the same when the motivator come from the rich people make easily to believe what they are saying. In cryptocurrency community many rich people give much influence for making bitcoin or some altcoin promote by them get high engagement will rich to higher price.
Elon Musk is bigger influence how to make Doge coins from shit coins success reach most higher price without taking long days, I think reason why most important for rich people or public figure promote about bitcoin and cryptocurrency.

People got rich due to cryptos? Yes.
Elon Musk got rich due to crypto? No.
He go his weird fantasy of poking his nose in everything and Doge coin stunt is one of them to keep his name on the trend nothing else but it turns out he influenced more people also helped crypto to reach more people which all I agree.
But we shouldn't trust anyone when it comes to investment cause no one is interested in others getting rich.
-
Why is the crypto community so susceptible to manipulation?
Because now cryptocurrencies are not associated with technology, but more with memecoins, trading which is more like gambling. Every celebrity wants to have their own cat, and that's why their words affect the price so much. And of course, this is very different from what it was in 2017.
-
People got rich due to cryptos? Yes.
Elon Musk got rich due to crypto? No.
This can be viewed differently. Did Elon Musk increase his wealth with crypto? YES
He worked with much larger numbers, therefore his earnings are much higher than most ordinary crypto people. In theory, he can afford to risk 1 billion by investing in some meme coin. If he successfully pumps it, only 10% is a huge profit.

Don't compare with Elen Musk because Elen Musk is a big player he invests millions of dollars together if something is profitable but he can earn a lot of profit and as he says many people can invest at any point feel free because if he is one of his twitter If the page tweets, many people are tempted to invest in the coins it invests in.

Do you think Trump didn't invest in cryptocurrencies?
Do you think it's impossible that Trump and Musk at some point talked about the possibility of making money through cryptocurrencies? I mean their personal earnings, not the common good.
pls. don't stand up for Elon prick Musk

Let's assume Elon Musk accumulated 10% of total supply of DOGE and the peak of Doge marketcap value of Doge was around 80 Billion so 10% of it is 8 billion and assume he dumped when it hits peak still it's not even 5% of his total networth.
He may have made few millions but his intentions was never really about making profits, he just wanted the lime light on him always so he can pump his ideas and sell them to people for lot more than that and don't forget he burned 50Bil on twitter for nothing.

Elon Musk is a businessman, he needs profit from every action, both material profit and his existence as one of the richest people in the world. Elon once popularized the dogecoin coin, I don't believe he didn't profit from it. Elon must have profited by making the price of doge high.

It is pretty obvious that the crypto community tends to glorify public figures because they are always looking for validation and opportunities to make quick profits. When someone famous like Elon Musk or Trump mentions crypto, people get excited, hoping it will make the market go up or bring more mainstream attention. Since crypto does not have a single leader these figures often become symbols of hope for the community. Social media adds fuel to the fire, making everything they say seem more important than it might be.
-
most people want profit from digital currency where the price is very high even now it is viral in the world with that many people are interested in crypto. now the news of trump is viral on social media but I don't want to comment on all that and maybe everyone has their own reasons regarding manipulation, it's just that many people think that with this manipulation they can get profit every day but they don't think about the future of crypto. but I'm sure a professional investor must have a strategy and plan for the future, what they do must be ready to accept the risks that will come.

News spreads like the viral meme when it was said Trump bought burger and paid it with BTC. I have not seen the video about it but articles about are published in hurry to make their website like the source of this news.
A lot of influencers actually talked about it on their videos I wasn't very sure if Trump would do this when his life is at risk since he gets assassination attempt at every turn. But yup it's Euphoria for users hoping adoptions.

The fast rate at which information on Trump and Bitcoin became available is an indication of how a topic can quickly circulate in the current world. However, we are bombarded with news about it by many influencers and we must make sure we stay skeptical this and not believe everything that is said in a hush. People should avoid passing information to the public in order to avoid the spread of hoax news since this would distort the public discourse. To suggest, it is high time to enhance consciousness about cryptocurrency and its experiences in the society. Many people can get valuable information regarding the possibilities and dangers of cryptocurrency use by attending the discussions or forums. Therefore we are not only acting in accordance with the trend but helping to improve education among the public.

I think you could express your excellent comment, so i am also agree with your comment. Because they believe that it will be best for our exists. We know that Donald Trump also express his opinion for bitcoin, then many people will trusted to bitcoin. In that's time people will invest huge amount in bitcoin. So i am also think that public figure mentions is a simple matter in the cryptocurrency world.

I think there are 2 different sides for public figures to support Bitcoin :
- + I think the more people know about Bitcoin, the better the adoption for Bitcoin and its ecosystem

That means, we have to be smart in finding the right gap to enter to buy Bitcoin and look for the profit, don't make the mistake of entering to buy Bitcoin when there is Good News because usually after Good News there will definitely be Bad News.

I don't read any other news that makes the price of bitcoin go up other than that.

There is risk in every business that's why as an investor you shouldn't always concentrate on the profit and the benefit you will get alone, looking at the risk that may occur is also good because it will prepare you for the unforseen circumstances but we shouldn't be discouraged because of risk because there risk in everything, so not investing is also a risk because once people make profit where you didn't invest as an individual that's capable of investing in such thing, you will feel bad for being left behind, yea people has to be very interested in digital investment for many reasons, lets use Bitcoin as a case study, Bitcoin has proven to be the must trusted and reliable digital currency both in value and other aspect of transaction and people are begining to see the importance of Bitcoin, some felt it will cease to exist but the way things are going is very surprising to them, so as it stands it keeps giving a good sign that the future is bright with bitcoiners, so the risk doesn't matter to people anymore because people that has been taking the risk has something to show for it, so why waiting further.

Trump is surely famous person, he is a successful business man and he as a president of US. When he said something positive about crypto, it must bring attention for any crypto lovers. Nowadays, he did his first transaction in Bitcoin, surely it makes people be happy with him. Bitcoin seems to rising up, and we have many good news around Bitcoin. I believe we will have a better crypto trend if Trump really can be the next president of US.

For now, Trump has given a breath of fresh air to crypto by transacting with bitcoin, but if Trump loses the US presidential election, what will happen? Because Kamala Harris doesn't seem to support crypto, will there be a bear correction in October. We have to be prepared for that. But stay calm because the bullish season will happen next year, so it's still a long time. I think the impact of the US presidential election if Trump loses will not have a negative impact on the bullish season next year.

Trump is surely famous person,
That is true.
he is a successful business man
That is not true.
and he as a president of US
I'm going to give you the benefit of doubt here and assume you meant to type 'was'; of course he is no longer the sitting president.

That part is obvious but the question is does he actually have a chance with all these polls putting him behind? I think not. (despite red states' best efforts to purge all the voters as we are getting closer to Election Day).

Why the euphoria when a public figure mentions Bitcoin Dont know frenn for me its simply public figure has a fans base or user base that already follow him before and then if they mention about cryptocurrency or bitcoin or anything their follower might noticing it and they might start to buy or do something similar.
well the negative side is market manipulation might happen because some public figure just get paid by project to do shill some of scam project people buy it and the owner rug and maybe the artist only say sorry guys :(

It is true that with the transaction from Trump, the value of Bitcoin has remained stable and has started to rise this week without any decline. Hopefully there will always be an increase and no further decline. In my opinion, public figures can also increase the price of crypto, even with a little touch that has a positive impact on the crypto they are promoting.

How about with that "Gm" tweet of CZ? Tons of people been saying that he's back. Pretty sure that the entire crypto space is really that assuming that this might be start of the bullish run
of the entire market. Somehow whenever we do see some pumps then do expect that there would really be that corresponding correction on which this is really that something
always been part of this market. This is why whenever you do see the opportunity for you to have such securing profits if you do have the opportunity. It all matters on how
you do make yourself making wise decisions. Sentiments and other fundaments specially attached into known public figure could really be that likely making out some effect.

It is often valuable to understand the processes that take place in the crypto space, so we can get an idea of how the top influencers can act. That is why, stable movements and increases that take place in the given sphere are an optimal signal to further monitor the development of analogous processes with encouragement. But it must be prepared for possible changes while at the same time maintaining this positive trend in practical activities. There is always room to learn and improve how those strategies employed by us are sustained and how they can be made to fit with other desired goals.

that has been impactful but not starting the bull run kind of impactful i didn’t really view it as anything other than it is it was just a simply welcome back post if you will and i personally do not think it preceded anything when it comes to the crypto market maybe to binance’s native token but for the rest? no

i can see how it can make such an impression especially if the popular character is someone with actual credibility and experience that makes his opinion or statement actually valid and thus shall be taken into consideration

In certain cases, what we may not see is how the event can contribute to a bull run even if only contributing a little bit to it, provided that the event is linked to a highly credible personality. Opinion of a person with practical experience is definitely valuable since it affects other people’s attitude to a given market or asset.

Why does the crypto community seem so pliable and immediately start glorifying public figures, only if he mentions Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies?

Meme coins with his image and name are being created, I even saw signatures in support of Trump on the Bitcointalk forum. I will not even talk about spam on social networks.
Isn't that quite an exaggeration?
Why is the crypto community so susceptible to manipulation?
Nah,i doubt if it's actually an exaggeration stating the fact that unlike other non-digital currencies, cryptocurrencies arr usually being affected positively by individuals and investors.Take for example the recent news of trump purchasing burgers with bitcoin,it caused and showed a wide acceptance of bitcoin and cryptocurrencies also icreasing the adoption of bitcoin by investors.

The reason why many crypto enthusiast goes euphoria about some notable figure on the crypto space, like Elon musk is because a lot of them, especially on social networks want to be wealthy. Elon musk is a billionaire and so many people want to identity with such person, probability, because they may also be like him.
As you may know, there are people who also want to identity with the wealthy people in the society, and at such situations, they fill that once they get closer with the rich, they may get some form of help that will also make them rich.
I think the world is a funny place, it very obvious that some people even want to be followers of the rich people for a name sake.

As you may know, there are people who also want to identity with the wealthy people in the society, and at such situations, they fill that once they get closer with the rich, they may get some form of help that will also make them rich.
I think the world is a funny place, it very obvious that some people even want to be followers of the rich people for a name sake.
This is why so many crypto enthusiasts celebrate when such characters as Elon Musk get involved because here is an opportunity for them to couple themselves with the glamorous figure of success. Such desire tends to be inspired by the desire to become as rich as the person inspiring such desire.
This phenomenon demonstrates that love for money shapes social relations particularly the media. For some, belonging to the circle of the rich, appears to be road to success, even if it is a success only of the follower.

This is human nature and people who understand this factor also affecting the world of investment and cryptocurrency can even capitalize and make money from this trend. We belong to a culture that values popularity so much and evidently in an era where social media is clearly dominating our lives we all want to associate with people who are already successful, famous and rich. And as long as the cryptocurrency industry is also made of people like you and me, there is no escaping of this phenomenon.

Leaving aside the question of influencing the market, when an important public figure talks about cryptocurrencies I am happy because it captures the attention of many people and therefore makes this fantastic world known, for better or for worse it is enough to talk about it

Well the euphoria that comes when a public mention crypto currency is not surprising and shocking to me as many people are still contemplating on wether to join crypto or not so when public like Elon musk come out and speak in support of crypto it makes those already in the crypto business happy and it gives them joy that what they are into is getting more respected and recognized , with people like musk getting involved in crypto currency it will create more awareness about crypto and more people who are not yet aware of crypto will become aware of what crypto currency is all about, so personally I will welcome more public figure especially those in the entanglement and business sectors to follow suit

I also hope that there are public figures who support crypto such as Elon Musk and Trump, this is an attraction for other investors to invest in Crypto. Because public figures have always been a center, what he does will be imitated by many people.
We have seen the impact of Elon Musk during a tweet about Doge, and made the Doge price rise high. Transactions made by Trump with Bitcoin make the price of bitcoin slightly rising.

The strong influence of a public figure because they are the ones who are highlighted every day by their followers, even when they are sleeping they see their daily activities. So, it is only natural that public figures have a very big effect on the euphoria about Bitcoin or altcoins. But the effect of the public figure has two purposes, namely positive and negative effects.
+ If the public figure gives a good statement and benefits about Bitcoin and altcoins, the price will go up.
- Conversely, the public figure gives a bad statement, the price of Bitcoin and altcoins will plunge or Dump.
From these 2 sides we must be able to take the right moment because if we are in the wrong position, our portfolio when trading or investing in Bitcoin or altcoins will automatically go down.
