I was just thinking about something when this thought crossed my mind. This is about people who gamble for monetary gain. So, if a fortune teller tells you that you cannot become wealthy through gambling, will you continue to gamble knowing that the only reason you gamble is to make money? And now that your fate regarding gambling has been revealed, will you doubt it and continue gambling, or will you stop gambling because it is not possible to make money through it?
-
If a fortune teller tells me I can not make money from gambling, I will stop gambling. The reason for this is that if I continue to gamble, I will continue to lose money with no hope of ever winning. It is preferable to gamble in the hope of winning someday, as this is the mindset of all gamblers who gamble for financial gain.
In fact, if the monetary reward for gambling is removed, many gamblers, including myself, will quit. I understand that gambling for money is not the best form of gambling, but how can a gambler gamble not to make money or gamble when it is obvious that you will not make money from it? For me, it is impossible.

first of all i would not be gambling to gain money
but even if i were i also do not believe in fortune tellers lol i do not believe i can gain respectable money with gambling and i also don’t believe in my destiny being already decided so i would not be gambling to gain money i will earn money some other way not by gambling and certainly not by the way a fortune teller tells me to
that fortune teller is just stating the truth you will never be wealthy by gambling

I agree with you. A gambler does not need a fortune teller to inform him or her that gambling does not make anyone wealthy as you pointed out. Everything that happens around a gambler can cause him to reconsider gambling for money. Even though we occasionally hear stories of significant wins, the truth is that a person's destiny is never determined by luck. So, I believe that even those who won were simply lucky, and that luck had nothing to do with their fate. We attract success through what we do, so success does not happen by chance.
Any person who sits and waits to be successful without putting forth any effort will never be successful, which is why I believe that only the lazy gamble to make money overnight, and even if a gambler is fortunate enough to win big, such winnings cannot be sustained through continuous gambling. What this means is that gambling does not sustain wealth, and any dealing that does not sustain wealth is never a good idea to rely on for additional income.
-
I know that the chance that I can be rich through gambling is 1 in millions. I do not even need anyone to tell me that.
As for your question, I will continue to gamble. But that is because I am not looking for success in gambling but I just need to entertain myself with it.
For someone that is doing it for money, I am not such a person.
-
I will still continue to gamble and take that risk, not that I want to believed to a fortune teller, but as a gambler, we want to test the unknown. We wanted to see if we can go back to the fortune teller and says, well I guess you are wrong because I just gamble and I won big money.
And I do not think that gamblers here are going into fortune teller for advise?
I know that gamblers are superstitious, but personally, I will not go to fortune teller and have a read on my future. I will still be the one deciding my future and what I wanted to do.

to me gambling is controlled by spirit because every gambler, I mean addict gambler, it is very difficult for them to stop gambling because of that spirit behind gambling so if a fortune teller tells a gambler that he cannot be wealthy in gambling it cannot prevent the gambler not to gamble because is a lifestyle and it has become their nature. That's my opinion.

I want to refute the notion that gambling is controlled by a spirit. Habit is something that develops over time through constant involvement in that thing, not as a result of any spirit. To become a chain smoker, one must first smoke. It takes a gambler to become addicted to gambling. A person must be exposed to drugs before becoming a drug addict. This implies that a person is defined by the things he does frequently.
so if a fortune teller tells a gambler that he cannot be wealthy in gambling it cannot prevent the gambler not to gamble because is a lifestyle and it has become their nature. That's my opinion.
I agree with you on this. When a person becomes addicted, he is controlled by the addiction because his desire to gamble outweighs his ability to control it. This is why a fortune teller's revelation cannot deter him from gambling, even if he was initially gambling for money. When a gambler is addicted, he has no reason to gamble; he simply wants to gamble.

Come on don't tell me we have people that gamble not to make some money 🤑 🤑
If gambling was not about the money people would have been playing their games using demo funds and then you would see nobody likes the free stuff .
I think this will depend on the person if they believe in supernatural powers and all that...if this fortune teller thing doesn't convince you..I don't see a reason to stop ::)

In the first place, I do not think that gamblers are going to seek fortune tellers, on the contrary, I know majority of gamblers doesn't believed on them. So in my case, if ever some street fortune teller says that I will not be wealthy thru gambling? I will just be laughing at him or her.
So I will not stop gambling, and I might be gambling for more to proved that the fortune teller is wrong by all accounts. And it's obvious though that you really need to be very lucky to be rich and wealthy thru gambling, like hitting the lottery or a major jackpot in a casino.

If a fortune teller tell me what you said, I will have to stop it because if I continue it will be personal deceit of the highest older to me, though this is for me but let's not forget that there are addicted gamblers and there is nothing anyone will tell them that will make them believe that they won't win or get wealthy through gambling unless there is supernatural intervention that will make them to stop it.
Personally I won't doubt what the fortune teller said because am not the only person that he has revealed their fortune to, so why will I doubt him, I will see it as an opportunity to stop gambling totally after all am not addicted to it, am in control of my game so continuing won't be an option for me since I now know my fate if I eventually continue.
-
If my only reason for gambling was for monetary gain and then I got told by a fortune teller that I won’t be able to get rich through gambling, the only reasonable thing I’d do is for me to quit (if the predictions of that fortune teller are correct and have been confirmed by numerous people) I’d quit and look for another means.
But if I earn money through gambling and also have fun during the process if such a news is delivered to me I won’t quit instead I’ll reduce the amount I use to gamble to the minimum so that I won’t have to be wasting money again all I’ll now be gambling for will now be for the fun I get from it.

In fact, it is not completely false that you cannot become rich by gambling because there are many people who win the jackpot and become owners of huge wealth. And this is where we get greedy and want to get rich by gambling which is a wrong idea.
People are rich in gambling but one of the few million of them is the lucky person to see it. This is not something where everyone is becoming a million. So a person here is winning and on the other hand millions of people are losing S, so it is nothing but foolishness to be rich. And those who question this idea should never be gambling.
-
In my opinion, why should you trust fortune tellers for that? Even people who are not good at fortune telling know that gambling will not make you successful and rich. unless you are that great and lucky. and out of all the people in this world, how many percent of people are really lucky and that great at gambling to become rich? Can you be one of them?
Gambling is something uncertain, unless for example we do skill-based gambling, that alone does not guarantee that the more skillful, the more successful you will be in gambling. hard to find. Because gambling is complicated, not only about winning or losing, but how we can manage ourselves to know when to gamble and when to stop, for what? to avoid all addictions. Because when addicted, let alone thinking about success, they will always think about how to get money to continue gambling no matter what happens, as long as there is still breath, continue gambling.
and this is what needs to be avoided, maybe we always hope that we will be successful from gambling, but my advice, don't expect success from uncertain and high-risk things like this. Just do it reasonably, and keep managing ourselves so that we don't get too caught up in gambling.
-
Fortune teller sounds like your wife whose main goal is actually to keep your money from you.
If you are old enough to gamble I'm sure you are not that naive as well to just allow a fortune teller to stop you from enjoying life even for a limited time left.
I might just challenge the fortune teller as well why she stay as fortune teller and is she planning to stay as is forever.

I think I will continue to gamble, but I will make a shift towards my mindset when I gamble.
From gambling just for the sake of money to gambling just for the sake of entertainment.
I know it's hard because there might be some here that are saying "you are only gambling just for the sake of money, blah blah blah", but the reality is, gambling can be entertaining as well. I mean if you're watching your favorite team playing, isn't putting a bet on them adds some excitement as well? Anyway, I'll continue to gamble, but I'll shift my mindset. Aside from that, I'll also make an adjustment on my budget maybe to a point where I will spend less more to gamble since there's a 100% chance that I might lose.

I don't want millions from gambling I believe on slow and steady winning especially when wining like $100 to $1k from gambling is more trusted than earning millions. Again when a suit sayer give information about my future in gambling then there is no need killing oneself over this system but still I can only gambling to have the fun attached to it but not entirely depending on it to making a living. Gambling shouldn't be seen as means of employment or a means of regular income because it's not always stable and doesn't give active winning just like it occasionally.
-
... will you doubt it and continue gambling, or will you stop gambling because it is not possible to make money through it?
Depending on the record of the soothsayer, if the soothsayer is someone who has a history of being accurate, I will be forced to believe, but other than that, if it is a soothsayer without record, I will ignore. If I gamble for fun, I will just like the soothsayer to tell me more that since I cannot be rich from gambling, hope I will not get poor from it? because if there is no danger of getting poor from it, according to the soothsayer, then I can just keep gambling for fun.

Being tempted to win big in gambling always leads to losses. Gambling is an uncertain game, there is more chance of loss than gain so we should never depend on it, especially get rich from gambling. There are many who want to get rich from gambling but with time they end up poorer,
So gambling should never be the main source of income and one should not try to earn millions from gambling. Because its results always try to come from the negative side. So gambling should be considered only as part of entertainment.

It's all based on personal believe system, I wouldn't stop gambling just because a fortune teller says I would not make money from it, my reason is very simple, I don't believe in fortune telling, we are the masters of our fate. Gambling is just based on luck and timing, constant trials might just get you closer to your win. Someone I know played aviator with a thousand naira, he divided the funds into ten rounds so that's a hundred naira each, after trying constantly he was left with hundred naira, he placed his bet and that round gave him x1000 of his stake.sometimes resilience can pay off but it doesn't mean you should be wreckless about it, stake low and If you notice that you are exceeding your limit find a to restrict yourself
-
Well, since the idea is to make money then there is no reason for me to continue my journey in gambling but if gambling is a way for me to have fun then it doesn't matter but given that a fortune teller has told us that we cannot win then why should I? Isn't it just a waste of time and money? Winning in a gambling game is an achievement for the specific activity and it is also a bonus so why spend on something that won't make gains?

To me, I disagree with you everything on Earth whether good or bad is controlled by spirit either good spirit or bad spirit, the case of gambling, gambling is control by evil spirit. Talking about habit, when you develop a bad habit it is controlled by evil spirit, whereas that habit is bad, it is under the influence of evil spirit that's why gamblers and stop gambling even when they lost everything they can still borrow to gamble because of the influence of evil spirit.for that's me my opinion.
-
First, you need to ask whether I trust fortune teller?
Hell no, they are just con artists so I don't really give any shit about what they tell me about what should I do and I don't.
I already knew that and if it happens in some miraculous way then I'll embrace it because we have to remember God works in mysterious ways. ;D

Gambling aside, I see fortune tellers are fraud that just dash hopes to make people feel the way they like because nobody can actually tell you what you can do, even you yourself can't tell your potential unless you try your luck and if your preparation meet the right time, you will make the money in matter of second and minutes, you will be shock how you going to make it.
As for gambling, one don't even need a fortune teller as well because winning money from casino is based on probability and it favour you or be there at the right time, good for you and it might not work for you. One can't make assumptions that one day there is hope of making money from gambling, that's nothing but false hope on the future because it's not certain even little.

It is when the entertainment purpose is undervalued or is not seeing it as something then you will see people regretting massively. You know when the entertainment is valuable and they can attached very little penny to earn while the whine away their time watching and having the entertainment moment they derived from gambling. Today we have people gambling for a purpose which is to make extra cash or to easily get Rich from the gambling while at last it turns to the opposite.

a fortune teller surely is qualified enough to give an advice, fortune teller already found a glitch to con everyone naive enough in the real world. they make a living conning people and need not to gamble anymore.
somehow there's a truth to not winning and getting rich in gambling. only a handful of people who made it through gambling and mostly are owners of casinos.

This is silly, the fortune teller is not really predicting; he is stating a fact, You don't need a fortune teller to tell you your future in gambling, if you paid the fortune teller for telling you this, you have been scammed,, and that will be the fortune teller's answer if he has been asked by thousands of gamblers.
Its very hard and close to impossible to become rich in gambling, creating a business is what will make you rich.

I don't need to be wealthy by doing gambling I do gambling for fun not the money making scheme. And I don't think you can ever get rich gambling, you can win the jackpot by gambling, but if you are a greedy gambler and you don't have cell control, you gamble that jackpot again and lose that jackpot, I've seen it many times. It has come up many times in various news papers and articles that gamblers are not able to hold on to the funds after winning the jackpot because they spend the funds again and again on gambling and living a lavish life as a result gambling never makes people rich. Rather, those who gamble with this idea end up begging more on the streets.

Without a doubt, if finance is to be sustainable, it must be managed with financial prudence. Financial prudence and management are important in gambling, both before and after you win a jackpot. Before a win, knowing how much to gamble, when to gamble, and when to stop gambling is critical for a gambler if he wants to remain responsible and avoid irreversible losses.
When there is a win, most gamblers believe it is time to increase their stake and time spent gambling; however, a gambler is not supposed to change his stake or time spent gambling in order to make good use of the money. Most gamblers continue to chase wins, even after they have won, forgetting that gambling is full of uncertainty, and instead of chasing more wins, a gambler should pause and plan how to use the winnings.

This is one problems everyone is facing especially the so called addicted gambler and they have this mindsets that the more they gamble the more likelihood to receive higher amount of winning or the more chances they get to winning, but have forgotten that when such happened it only creates the chances of them wasting their resources without knowing that have been engulfed with greed. Greed is something that is so bad in gambling which everyone must control, they apply responsible and moderate gambling then there wouldn't be a day were a gambler wins and thinks of increasing their wager to earn higher amount in returns.

This is not the case of continuing to gamble or not. This is the exact case of, if you trust the the fortune teller or if you believe in fortune telling. If you do believe in it, you'll definitely not gamble again because you will just waste your money. But if you don't believe in fortune telling, you will continue to gamble.
Again, if you believe in fortune tellers and have been winning before, there's every tendency that you have to doubt the fortune teller for a while and continue gambling.

Does that really happen in gambling? I have been there and I must say that it's the things you believe will happen hat doesn't happen in gambling. I have put some games in check many times and put money on them, I had so much believe in those games that they are going to do well but guess what, those ones tend to hurt the most because of one small mistakes from one team.
I once played a game on one good afternoon, it was in fact a game copied from me gambler and they were all basket ball games. I flex two and neither did I expect it to win and behold, others played the game and lost because many didn't remove option for town games and I did and I won great amount of money this is why I'm skeptical about believe in what someone tells you in gambling and not believing in anything at all.

For me, I will stop and use the money for good because if I keep gambling still if ever it is true it's like I am wasting money for nothing Why continue pouring money into something with no future reward? gambling should be a form of entertainment and not a way to rely for income.

Depends on one’s beliefs and traditions. But as for me I don’t think I will agree with that cause the teller isn’t god or something. If I have faith in myself that I can have money and get rich then I guess I will continue gambling and follow my faith .

It indicates that you accept the soothsayer's advice. However, if you have been gambling for years without seeing any wins, it is best to either quit or start gambling for fun if you find gambling appealing. A recreational gambler ought to be aware that bookmakers aim to turn a profit, meaning that your loss is the bookies' gain. Given that winning at gambling is inherently difficult, any revelation regarding this should not come as a surprise to any gambler.
-
Gambler who sees gambling as a way to make money will definitely continue to gamble, even though many people offer advice against it. They (the gamblers) will just consider those warnings as BS.
For gamblers who come just for fun, they will also not pay attention to that advice. Because gambling is only seen as a game and merely a source of entertainment that is not taken too seriously.
-

You know lot of people do not understand the core purpose of gambling and why gambling is still existing to today and like I know gambling can never be reveal to people about it outcome or what someone could become through gambling but, lot of people have taken their bet slip to churches and also to all form of fetish chamber for them to know or see what results team A or team B would have to score but at some point I began to understand that those things doesn't work because gambling is above the way we see it neither will any soothsayer say or speak the future of gambling if one involved himself to gamble.

Gambling is not primarily for making money, gambling is only for entertainment. I never use gambling as a means of making money I always use gambling as entertainment. If someone says you can't get rich from gambling, I will never stop gambling because I gamble in my free time just for fun. However, there are many people who use gambling as a way to earn money, so they may stop gambling. But I also always believe that gambling can never solve a person's financial problems. If gambling can't solve people's financial problems, why should we use gambling as a way to make money.
-
I will slowly leave gambling and look for a job that can make money, because we already know that gambling is not an option for making real money,
-
A fortune teller who doesn't have the capacity to make one rich through foretelling predictions that will come through and the ones that wouldn't, shouldn't have any business foretelling who will make it through gambling and who wouldn't.
Luck comes from God so no fortune teller will stop me from trying my home or away option every weekend.

I will slowly leave gambling and look for a job that can make money, because we already know that gambling is not an option for making real money,
Looking for a more stable way to create a future for ourselves is a step that really gives meaning to our existence. When I decided to go to a job that creates real income then I get the opportunity to plan and achieve financial aims. It is dry this decision making shows the capacity to have the courage to depart from those things that enable ineffectiveness in our lives and replace them with more efficient activities. Every move has been made to ensure that we are gradually transitioning towards a life with fresh possibilities and increased sense and significance. Sometimes, with proper hard work and endeavor, it is possible to build up a good life for oneself.

I was just thinking about something when this thought crossed my mind. This is about people who gamble for monetary gain. So, if a fortune teller tells you that you cannot become wealthy through gambling, will you continue to gamble knowing that the only reason you gamble is to make money? And now that your fate regarding gambling has been revealed, will you doubt it and continue gambling, or will you stop gambling because it is not possible to make money through it?
to me gambling is controlled by spirit because every gambler, I mean addict gambler, it is very difficult for them to stop gambling because of that spirit behind gambling so if a fortune teller tells a gambler that he cannot be wealthy in gambling it cannot prevent the gambler not to gamble because is a lifestyle and it has become their nature. That's my opinion.
It will be very difficult for me to agree that there's a spirit that controls gambling and gamblers, gamblers are bedeviled by there uncontrollable urge to invest and make quick money and as a result they keep loosing and loosing

I think majority of those who have ever tried gambling can be divided into two categories, those who got interesting in gambling (due to fun, earning, emotions, any reason), and those who have tried and never find any interest in it. So no matter how successful or not people from first category gamble, what people tell them or suggest, what opinion on gambling is or what is their financial situation, they will still gamble and return. Some just do it more often than other, more reckless than others, more addicted than others.

Every person has personal motives for their activities and gambling is no exception. Certain individuals seek gambling because of the sensation but others simply try it hoping it will never become a habit. This habit mainly embraces the personal pleasures and emotional experiences people have during a particular activity. The wide variety of personal assessment methods between individuals makes it challenging to modify firmly established behaviours. Close observation shows that certain gamblers will participate frequently but others will adopt caution while additional persons incorporate gambling into their regular routine. Every person keeps ultimate control over their choices regardless of the motivation since each individual follows their natural inclinations to decide their path.

It is a common fact that gambling won't make us to be rich people. We don't need a fortune teller to say that fact. :D
I don't understand that many beginners think gambling can be a way to make them rich. They probably don't know how the gambling industry works. If they knot it well, they must prefer gambling as a place for have fun. Actually, winning prizes in gambling is like a bonus only since it is almost impossible to happen constantly.
-
For me, I will stop and use the money for good because if I keep gambling still if ever it is true it's like I am wasting money for nothing Why continue pouring money into something with no future reward? gambling should be a form of entertainment and not a way to rely for income.
However, entertainment costs money... when watching a movie in the cinema or having fun in a bar, it is entertainment that will still cost money... so gambling with lost money and a bad mentality because of losing, can be considered a cost that must be paid... while winning and feeling happy are the most sought after bonuses.... the sensation of a man when getting money is very enjoyable, that's why we can feel something that really spends money for that pleasure.
Making gambling your main job is not right, but for a bookie, it is really profitable. Why is everyone still interested in gambling rather than being a bookie? Is an overly complicated prefix a big deterrent?

Hmmmm, maybe because they saw somebody who made millions just by playing poker? Or Slots? Or Lottery? Or whatever game it is, and these beginners think "If they can do it, so they are as well" hence, gamble as well without thinking of the possible consequences that they might face along the way.
Gambling will not make us rich... or at least around 95% of the gamblers will not become rich through gambling because I believe that there are still few gamblers out there that are making money still in gambling. Making money consistently in gambling is almost impossible like you said, and I hope that this is how the newbies think about gambling. Also, I hope they will change their mindset of making money through gambling because they can't.
-
Since gambling is all about luck, I don't think I would listen to a fortune teller who would tell me how my future of gambling would be, that I am not going to be rich through gambling. While my intention towards gambling wasn't in that angle of being rich through gambling but to have some fun, that ends it.

Fortune telling has seriously misled many people who believe in it. Personally, I do not believe anyone can predict who will win or lose at gambling because it is highly unpredictable and based on luck, making it impossible to predict who will be lucky. This explains why it is so difficult to make predictions using spiritual means.
In actuality, some people have been conned by fortune tellers and later discovered that all of the information was false. The majority of fortune tellers base their predictions solely on their knowledge of a person or object. Thus, reason why they shouldn't be listened to.

There are several reasons why people have to gamble which is why each person is unique with his or her own purpose to do so. Not many people do it to have a opportunity of becoming millionaires since for some people it’s just having the opportunity to be there, to feel the vibe, to have the fun. One can not predict an outcome of a situation in the future as everything depends on numerous factors that are out of one’s control. Trust in one’s decisions is much more beneficial than mere listening to some predictions that may not tally with the actual events. In a money game what one has to do is entirely up to him or her and therefore the lessons taken feel more real.

some people have indeed become millionaires just from gambling mostly from lottery but this is such a small percentage of people that actually win that not a lot go into gambling expecting them to win

you also don’t know what’s gonna happen your prediction could just as be accurate as the next person but by not following others then at least you have sense of control as it is your decision you used to bet anyway

In my opinion, every person can have their own personal choices and opinions about gambling, but ultimately I think that every person should use gambling only for entertainment purposes. Otherwise, if someone thinks that he can generate a certain amount of regular amount by gambling, then he is living in a fool's paradise. And even if person make gambling occasionally he must have to remind this in their mind and always make investment here as much as they can afford to lose.

Yes, this is quite right, the idea of gambling for the fun of it is the best for anyone to take. At least, while playing it is possible to be clear about the barriers that may be breached and thus, control the risks that may come up. Thus, viewing gambling as a fixed source of income is a big mistake that entails severe consequences. As every coach and player knows, there is no betting in each match, and inevitably, there are surprises. If you decide to gamble from time to time, it is reasonable to set the upper bound of the sum that is okay to lose without regret. This way the control which is an important part of play experience is maintained and it does not become boring or turns into a greater issue.
-
How about creating an optional rules of "gamble for few hours and not more than 5% of monthly salary per week" with * " if there is an interesting event it is allowed to bet not more than 5% of salary", "withdraw if balance is increased 1.5 times". This might help to prevent excessive gambling, spending to much on it, it wont become boring, it might stop greed and wish to continue playing. Imo having and following own rules in gambling is a key from getting less troubles with it.
-
So, if a fortune teller tells you that you cannot become wealthy through gambling, will you continue to gamble knowing that the only reason you gamble is to make money?
I don't believe such a thing unless s/he is known and has a reputation that at least 90% of what the fortune teller says comes true. But if not, of course, who am I to believe such a thing, then I will still gamble. As I always believe that there's no one who can tell or foresee someone's future, as someone's future relies on its strength and own decision, not on someone else's.

Those who gamble with the thought that it will help them earn a fixed amount or that by doing so they will one day become the owner of a lot of money are only ruining their future through their own stupidity.
Because there is no any sources where anyone will take money to you without any labor. In gambling those lazy people's thought that they will win Big amount by sitting on the bed. But that is not actually true, and fortunately they will use everything one day for this laziness.

Yes, many people still believe that gambling is an opportunity to earn a lot of money quickly, but instead, it results in losses. However no one wishes to succeed overnight to the extent of sitting idle and expecting success come looking for them. However, if one was to rely on luck without proper estimation then that person will certainly be caught up in a certain form of a vices. If one needs more money to reach financial security, the right move is to look for a more specific stream of revenue and develop better working behaviours. Governing money with critical approachment and personal organisation will bring more tangible results than awaiting for something that can be influenced only to a certain extent.

I have said this many times before, but I will say it again here that the probability of winning in gambling is under the 0.0001% and if someone assumes that he will be within that 0.0001% every time, then he will definitely be foolish.
It is unfair that he has to be a hacker to do this work which will exploit the casino's system. So in case of gambling we must should decrease our expectation.

Well, things with probabilities are very difficult when it comes to casino gambling, of course this number you mention is very similar to the number when a person wins the lottery, I know this because that is the number I calculated one day for the probabilities of winning the lottery at university when I saw that subject, however this is very credible and I like that you brought it up , that is why when playing in the casinos one as a player has to take advantage every time one wins , otherwise one will never be able to obtain benefits.
-

what do you mean take advantage? when you win you have already obtained the benefits the casino has already given you what you have won you have played, you got lucky and you already won whatever you do next will be up to you whether you want to use the money again to gamble or to use for different purposes is all up to you
we never know when that chance of winning will come we will just know once we already have won so some people may regret not betting more for higher profit but as mentioned there was no way of knowing when would we win

Probability has its influence in various aspects of casino gaming and understanding them is a good way towards gaining an insight of what the odds are. It is, however, important to point out that even games can be won and therefore any given moment comes with important decisions to make. This is especially important especially when the team or an individual is on the winning side since this is the most essential time when they should learn to quit hence avoid wasting their hard earned wins. We all understand that it is not only a matter of chance and that one should be able to control wins and losses in a manner that they are not detrimental to a person’s financial status. Odds can be used properly and this can be determining factor between playing with a conscience or developing a bad habit with the game.

It is indicating a tragic conflict where we are encouraged to do something only in the hope of gaining one kind of people, although that profit cannot come in the way of that profit, people are addicted to gambling by admitting into the years of addiction. If the future says that gambling is possible to be rich, what you’re going to play is entirely up to you and depending on your beliefs if you already believe that a blessing is possible to benefit properly, then gambling is necessary for it. Thinking about the future people want to earn money by making casinos through gambling but in reality its opposite happens because luck isn’t your help so you lose. In my opinion, gambling is nothing more than foolish to think of the main income of gambling for making money. You won’t give so much priority to what gambling is because gambling is a lot of deadly game because everyone can’t win here. But if you come here to gather knowledge well and play gambling, you will certainly benefit.
-

If only we know what will happen then we will surely find ways to get more funds and bet it all at once. 😅 The only problem is that we are battling against luck which is very difficult because we can only get it once in a random time and that chance might not come again especially in casino games.
-

You're right, but when I say take advantage, I mean that if I win I should withdraw my winnings and not leave anything in the casino, then if I want to continue playing, I can enter with much less money, the idea is that I can enjoy the money I won, although to be honest what I recommend is that once you win and manage to withdraw the money, then not play anymore at least for that day, even if you have multiple sixth senses that you are going to win and that you have good feelings, that is useless.
-

Actually this is the reality but even then sometimes we know the reality we forcefully gies in our own dream world and make the bet amount of Beyond of our ability just for not having control on our emotion and also for our over greadness.
So I think before making any bet or gambling we must should know the breaking point of here and know how to be secure even playing gambling. And then if we done the gambling beyond our affordability then I think there will not be going to any issues.

Odds can be used properly and this can be determining factor between playing with a conscience or developing a bad habit with the game.
Some people obey a lot to what is the habit of gambling, especially when it comes to playing raffles, lotteries, it is something very normal what they do and practice, because they always focus on the probabilities and the faith they have, I personally would not create a habit of gambling, because it is something that turns out to be very dangerous for our economy, I would prefer to play when I have something free, I want to spend some time differently and I have enough money to be willing to lose, but it is my way of playing.
-

All addicted gamblers began with money they could afford to lose, but once they start winning and losing, they begin to gamble against their original principle of gambling with what you can afford to lose.
Habits formed while gambling are never planned, and even when a gambler develops bad gambling habits, he is unaware of them until they become difficult to control.

You are right, but Just like any person, everyone has their own way of handling gambling and how they control their decisions to what they want to do in life. We of course do understand that gambling has been in existence for a long while now and some people take their chances and faith as their guide. But everyone does not want to remain enganged constantly because there are many circumstances necessary to pay attention, first of all, to money and its expenditure. Knowing one’s constraints is something that should be valued, mainly when one plays only when fit and does not let the game have a detrimental effect. Overall, it really remains in the individual’s choice if only people will stay firm with their own decision in accordance to what is best for each individual.

You are absolutely right Sheriff, personally when I play, apart from applying that, I play with little money, and my biggest handbrake is thinking that the money I have for my children's expenses and in general for my home is what makes all the emotions that are above what will break my discipline grow.
And that is good for many players to apply, I know that sometimes because of their addictions they put all that first, and the most valuable thing in life are the people who are always with us, including friends.

I appreciate your ideas and principles. But in my case, what I realize is that I gamble but I keep it under my own control. I have dreams of winning big from gambling but I have no desire to earn money through it. I know that if luck favors me then I can only win there but I never behave aggressively because I know that it will make me lose more than win. That is why I consider gambling as fun and bet a small part of my monthly income. I do not try to keep extra money in the budget. I know that if I gamble excessively, my addiction will increase which can cause me great harm.

Is it not better to start working on that which has been told not to gamble for money or for the purpose of making wealth, instead i will be such that will only be gambling occasionally for fun only, because am not waiting upon that opportunity of hitting a jackpot to come, since the prophesy has already being told about what my expectation should be, i will focus more on something profitable and productive from my carrer and gamble once a while.
-

Regarding this, I am sure we have different opinions, some believe and some do not.
I may be one of those who do not believe, especially since this is also related to gambling which I know is luck. I would prefer to play as usual and without thinking about what the fortune teller said. Because when we become hopeful, it will be dangerous too.
-
I know that the chance that I can be rich through gambling is 1 in millions. I do not even need anyone to tell me that.
As for your question, I will continue to gamble. But that is because I am not looking for success in gambling but I just need to entertain myself with it.
For someone that is doing it for money, I am not such a person.

Well inam seeing someone for the first time saying he is entertaining himself with gambling. How is that possible? Is loosing money funny? I mean I wonder have an excercise that's capable of changing people's moods can be entertaining. We learn everyday though?

Come on don't tell me we have people that gamble not to make some money 🤑 🤑
If gambling was not about the money people would have been playing their games using demo funds and then you would see nobody likes the free stuff .

I think this will depend on the person if they believe in supernatural powers and all that...if this fortune teller thing doesn't convince you..I don't see a reason to stop ::)
I sincerely think that anyone who claim not to gamble for money is pretending and not saying the truth. Infact there's not aspect of gambling that depicts fun. If not there would have been demo funds like you rightly pointed out

It is could be agreed that money is the common element in gambling because it is on this that every bet is placed. As we can see there is nothing of worth in the civil war for Teague and therefore there is no spice in the game for him. If fun were the main intention, there are other means that can be used that do not pose any danger. In general, betting always involves an element of hope for a win and it isn’t just mere leisure. It is hard to dispute an obvious fact that success leads to contentment and failure brings desire to attempt again. Which is the logic behind such an occurrence to keep the game on the move. If there was no element of value in it, that peculiar attraction which draws so many people in to participate will be missing.

Well the important thing is that you are clear with the situation and you have all the desire to go out and do better every day, in the game it is not ruled out that you can fulfill what you want, but always take into consideration before playing what you can lose , Money is its valuable to us, most of us work hard to achieve things, it would be good if you gave Value to that, from there start and know that things are good to always do them putting the things you face Before , always thinking about what you can lose will give you a way to control, what you do is not bad, always maintain that control.

Good suggestion, And what I think more about it even we have the separate money for gambling what will can afford to lose, I want to suggest that make a dedicated time for it also. Because even if we have lower amount we can bet the minimum amount and can also try the wager more and more which is not always good for a public figure.
So even we must respect the money and also the time.

Well it depends on the capacity and how powerful I perceive the fortune teller to be. First I will put certain factors into consideration. I will consider if the fortune teller has the capability to foretel or predict games accurately.
I will also consider if the fortune teller is well respected and valued in his area. I will also consider the perception of people about the fortune teller. If all these research justifies that the fortune teller is powerful, powerful enough to predict the future then I will just let go and forget about gambling forever because I believe that the spiritual controls the physical

Usually the blow that can stop someone from a bad habit like gambling is regret... not getting a win, will only increase his hopes of getting a win in the future, but the regret that can most cause someone to stop gambling is, when the goods or people he loves the most are badly affected by his gambling habit... that will make a gambler's perspective change quickly.... everyone has a heart, and even if the person you love experiences something bad because of your gambling activity and you regret it, you will quickly leave the gambling...
If you only lose continuously, I have experienced it... and I am even more curious about gambling itself when I don't get a win.

We should realised that any action taken always has its repercussions on one’s self as well as on other individuals in the society. Not everyone comprehends it at once, especially if they still indulge themselves in dreams that have not come through yet. There are moments when one does not even realise the change is when a worthwhile entity starts to be changed. Pride can be such a strong emotion that the mere feeling of losing oneself or seeing a loved one struggle due to pertinent habit can act as a strong motivator. Nobody wants to see something dear to their heart to be brought to a halt by poor performance. When such a realisation comes, the best option is to quit before the habit makes one lose more important things.

anything that puts someone in a crossroad will always end up making him think of what can happen in the future.
price usually breaks a relationship and if this is going in the way, it will really test their resolve. there are people who have gone into realization and chooses family over their pride. some people who chooses their price regretted later when they grow old when their kids never care them anymore.

I think most gamblers will never stop gambling based on the words of a fortune teller. Because no one knows what awaits them in the future. The reason why many people can assume is that if they continue gambling, if their luck favors them, they will have the opportunity to earn money from gambling or get a big win from gambling. Considering this possibility, they may continue gambling. No one will work to stop gambling. Even if the amount is very small. I would never stop gambling based on the words of those people.

I sincerely think that anyone who claim not to gamble for money is pretending and not saying the truth. Infact there's not aspect of gambling that depicts fun. If not there would have been demo funds like you rightly pointed out
There are various reasons why people gamble. Personally, I gamble to show support for my favourite team and so when there is a win, the excitement is not that I won my bet but rather that my team won. This is where the fun happens. This is the same as when I lost. When I lose, the main issue is usually that my favorite team lost.
This demonstrates that making money is not the primary reason I gamble, and I am confident that many other people gamble for the same or similar reasons.

There are various factors that the people take into consideration whenever they gamble and supporting ones team is one of the natural things to do. It is for this reason that there is the passion for the team being supported not only because of the outcome of the bet conducted but just the overall feeling associated with the favourite team. This makes it to be a dramatic experience where the feelings resulting from victory of the team are much more worthwhile than monetary rewards. This is also made more painful due to the failure of the team that we are proud for, not just because of the loss of the bet. In this way, betting goes beyond the simple idea of winning or losing and it becomes affiliated with loyalty and affection towards the sport we support.

Anyone with the mindset of making money through gambling is having it wrong because gambling is a game of luck so too much hope should not be attached to it because the probability of you recording a win is slim, gambling should be considered only as fun and entertainment, gambling on a game should be done based on your love for a particular team and for the particular type of sport that a person is following

Yes, Gambling is a bad way to try to get money, so it is unadvisable. It is very unsure and potentially possible to come out with nothing or even worse off than before. This is a very big problem since many investors get carried away with high mentality expecting to get high returns but at the end, the reverse is the truth. If a person were to consider it as simply being entertainment where one does not hope for much, then the pressure and disappointment that is experienced is also going to be less. Indeed, some interests in sporting events can be participated in without necessarily risking on any thing costly. Enjoyment of the game should be the gain from liking the game or your favourite team without the need to make money out of something unforeseeable.

I was just thinking about something when this thought crossed my mind. This is about people who gamble for monetary gain. So, if a fortune teller tells you that you cannot become wealthy through gambling, will you continue to gamble knowing that the only reason you gamble is to make money?
first of all i would not be gambling to gain money
but even if i were i also do not believe in fortune tellers lol i do not believe i can gain respectable money with gambling and i also don’t believe in my destiny being already decided so i would not be gambling to gain money i will earn money some other way not by gambling and certainly not by the way a fortune teller tells me to
that fortune teller is just stating the truth you will never be wealthy by gambling
It is true that gambling should not be used as a means of making money, but rather as entertainment, where it is only for fun. If you get a big win, that is a plus point of gambling in my opinion, especially if you have to go to a fortune teller, it only makes money, where fortune tellers and gambling are the same activities that are detrimental if not in the right portions.

people who bet on their favorite teams with no consideration of actual performance means they most likely are not gambling for money especially if their favorite team is not exactly doing well anyway but due to loyalty they stay betting on them and refuses to bet on their opponents no matter how good
you will lose lots of money like this but if you are not serious about making money anyway then it should not matter much i guess

It is even misleading to think that fortune tellers can make predictions. I think if they could then the fortune tellers should be the richest in the world because the betting industry has too much money in stock for gamblers to predict, win and receive the amount won.
What most fortune tellers do is make predictions and have stories to tell the gambler because certainly the gambler will not win and in cases where there is a coincidence, the fortune teller capitalizes on that to exploit the gambler.

People should not be deceived into believing that fortune tellers can actually see what is going to happen in a match one thing that I tell people is if truly this so called fortune tellers could see what is going to happen in a game they must have become rich, but in a situation where the fortune teller too is struggling financially the probability of such a person being true is highly daudtable

It is impossible to be completely sure of the result in the match and lack money for daily needs simultaneously. Which, of course, if there is such an ability then any person would never for a moment sell various movements or require others to pay him for the information since they themselves will make the profit. That is why it is impossible to predict the outcome in the games and especially in betting because such people who claim to be able to read every result are just manipulative charlatans who want to benefit from other people’s thirst for certainty. Hence, luck and other factors are part and parcel of every game and there is no surefire way to it. To believe in something but to have no evidence means that all what a person has is expectations that may never manifest themselves.

If I am told by a fortune teller that I cannot become wealthy through gambling, it simply means I will continue to lose money when I gamble, so, I will simply not border to gamble again and start something else that can pay well for my finance. For me, gambling is for fun and entertainment, knowing very well it is a 50/50 chances, then there is no need to continue when it has been revealed to me that there is no head way in this path.

If we go to a fortune teller due to the result of sports bet and if he predicted and the result the result of the bet is same, then we might start believing him in our hearts. But the fact is that he said something according to his mind and that team won that match, so he did not say it through any spiritual power. Many of us make predictions, then our predictions for one or two or sometimes several matches are correct, but at that time no one will look at me differently, but when we go to a fortune teller and get the same result, everyone will consider him differently. I myself do not believe in fortune tellers.

You know when you becomes that responsible while gambling you would know that gambling is just for entertainment purposes only and those who usually attached much feelings or that becoming that rich through are in one way hampering their lives because is just like moving forward to tall wall where there is no road over, and even if there are possibility they can still have fun while they gamble than entirely thinking that all their live dependency rely on gambling only.
True gambling could something that benefits people but that shouldn't be a total means of generating income to make living or an earns meet.

Sometimes we have an encounter of events that affirm a particular theory made by us or others. When that occurs, there is tendency to look for some reason for that which is referred to as special, be it passion, experience or otherwise. This kind of thing is some of the ways that we rise to occasions and occurrences in our environment. We all at one time in our lives have felt what it is when you guess something right; that does not necessarily mean there is a force that made it to happen. In life, there are many occurrences that might be termed as coincidences and human beings are inclined to associate the events that occur in a certain way hence having a stronger point in the impression. Proposed beliefs of a certain thing can come from these experiences gotten from this natural occurrence and not everything that happens must be related to something beyond the possibility of this world.

Yeah. It really depends on how gamblers see things whether it was all about coincidence or they believe on some kind of black magic which I don't because most of the time it doesn't change their status in life though I've heard some folks here in my place that they have found something magical that is why they place bets on a specific game but still they lose and sometimes their winnings coincide on what they say and that they got their friends attention and the legend will circulate in the community and that's how people will believe in them and in just a single loss that fame will fade right away. 😅

The thing is that whatever a gambler believes can change over time. Even when there is a coincidence, the gambler may praise the fortune teller and his hopes must certainly become high since it is not so common and so such a gambler will never agree that such occurrence was a matter of coincidence.
However, coincidence doesn't happen all the time and as long as the gambler keeps following the prediction of the fortune teller, the gambler will realized that no force or fortune teller can help a gambler win except that he is lucky.

I was also wondering if those who go to fortune tellers to get predictions from them think about their actions. Looking at the fortune teller they have gone to, if the fortune-teller is up and doing, would they not be winning games back to back? This should be able to tell you that there is something the fortune teller does that they would not tell you if their games turn out to be true. Let us put prediction out of this and be logical here; there is more to a fortune teller giving you a good game and predictions to win it. Why do they not use their predictions to become rich since they can predict a game, and it works out perfectly well.

Desperation can cause a gambler to do anything and involve in any means just to win and make money. Some gamblers have this inner belief that spirituality can help gamblers to win and so they move from different spiritual house just to seek for solution.
The irony of this is that they are compelled to pay money to get the predictions and at the end the predictions doesn't play they encounter double losses and even make their situation more severe.

At first, what is the purpose of gambling?

- To have winnings to take care of daily endeavours ✓

It all depends on my purpose of gambling. If it is to become wealthy, I will discontinue then.

Well actually like to perceive the proper gambling atmosphere as one which you Go on ahead risking money you can afford to lose and then you are often faced with the probability of either losing or winning and if you end up with a win you get some extra cash to spare.
If you try to sole target wins in gambling chances have it that you would develop bad habits that would be accompanied by losses and probably addiction too if not controlled.

I agree with you. It is not wrong to win in gambling but considering the nature of gambling it is not ideal for a gambler to depend on the winning from gambling. The gambler may not even be happy since it is common to lose than win in gambling.
The fact that no gambler can decide when he can win is enough conviction for a gambler not to stay focused on gambling winning. Gamblers who depend on winning from gambling often have failed plans.

Actually, when we prepare ourselves well and wisely before entering the world of gambling, of course we already have mature preparation, especially in terms of emotional control. Yes, because indeed, the world of gambling is very pressure and very exhausting, sometimes, even though we have managed something, it breaks because of the fun of gambling, whether the result is winning or losing. Now this is what must be realized, must be really ready for all the risks. and must be really strong with all the challenges in gambling, especially the emotional and mental presentation, and the desire to continue gambling without stopping.

of course there is nothing wrong to win since that is basically the point of all of it if no one lost through gambling and only kept winning then no one would be complaining but alas since there is always risk of losing that is where it gets damaging

Yeah, seems losing in gambling is much more of a frequent occurrence compared to gamblers making good amount of winnings especially in casino games. That is why it is for me impossible to make winning streak. I don't know about other gamblers but based on my experiences I think I never had a winning streak because as soon as I win loss will follow right away.

If fortune tellers could predict correctly, I don't think anyone would bet. Because not everyone can win at gambling. Normally in betting losing ration is very high. If I knew that I couldn't win at gambling, I would never gamble. If I were to rationally examine anything a fortune teller says, I don't think anyone would believe them. Whether I win or lose, I would never be willing to bet on their words. The truth is, it's nothing more than blind faith.

Sometimes the preparation we make is simply distorted by a single win. It is much easier to lose control after a win than when there is no win. From personal experience, gamblers are always conscious when they have yet to win because they do not believe there are any chances of winning, so they only hope to win but are cautious.
However, when a gambler wins, he becomes greedy and seeks to win more, believing that he will be lucky again or that he has discovered the secret to winning. At this point, a gambler who was previously prepared and conscious begins to gamble irresponsibly. The regret of losing one's winnings is enough to trigger a problematic gambling habit.
-

That's very common. In fact, the thing you sometimes think about when you win is that you feel like you're the king of the world , That's very normal , but that's why you have to keep a cool head, even if you're winning, even though I'm someone who says that you have to stretch your profits and cut your losses.
But sometimes, when you're winning a lot, people bet more and more money and make high bets. The best thing to do is, if you've already won something considerable, to keep betting, but with the smallest amount of money possible. Only then will there be no disappointment.

In most cases, a person who has never won a bet is very careful since he still remains in the phase of suspense, while a winner may become extremely reckless at a single instance. Thus, the urge is not only to win money but also in the sense that one has win a game that was initially out of certainty. From here, numerous players start identifying that they have control on the game, thus making them take on the game while not appropriately deliberating the repercussions. The desire of getting another win becomes a kind of urge over which the candidate cannot control himself, and this is how a trap is set. It is not just the situation of losing money but also about winning making a previously more rational decision, impulsive.

We have different gambling topics here with "what if..." or "will you...", where users describe different situations with gambling and ask if we would continue or still gamble. I think, that once started or tried, a person will gamble from time to time. Whether it be a hobby, addiction, or a simple test of luck somewhere with lottery, scratch card or claw machine, a person will always return to gambling. From my point of view, only when a person gets scammed by a casino, it will make him pause or drop gambling at all. Some say that when a person looses his money, it makes him quit. Sometimes yes, but sometimes no, because a person will always find a way to earn money. It will only matters how much he earns. So a scam or a strongly negative experience are only ways when people quit; everything else is just a pause.

It is indeed an irony when they pay for something extraordinary and get nothing ordinary in return because of their desperation, and this leads to more frustration on their part, leading them to addiction as gamblers.
People or gamblers who think of spirituality attached to their games and victories are just too ignorant of the fact that there is more to their demand than their results. Going spiritual for just a game likely requires some form of commitment, if I am not mistaken, and this has its own consequences in the waiting.

The moment gambling becomes the total means of generating income to make a living, it simply means such person has taken gambling for absolute, and nothing can change it. If gambling can be taken for fun, whether winning or losing, then there won't be room for addiction to it, not to say a fortune teller who is renowned tells there is no head way in gambling, to me, it is an easy way to stop digging an empty mine. Cause there could be gold or silver or some precious stones there, but not for me. Therefore, there is no need labouring there.

However, when a gambler wins, he becomes greedy and seeks to win more, believing that he will be lucky again or that he has discovered the secret to winning.
That's very common. In fact, the thing you sometimes think about when you win is that you feel like you're the king of the world , That's very normal , but that's why you have to keep a cool head, even if you're winning, even though I'm someone who says that you have to stretch your profits and cut your losses.
i think this will only be possible if you have enough experience because you will realize that you can’t win everything and you will only realize this once you finally experience this as well
But sometimes, when you're winning a lot, people bet more and more money and make high bets. The best thing to do is, if you've already won something considerable, to keep betting, but with the smallest amount of money possible. Only then will there be no disappointment.
yup don’t try to even double the original money you deposit to bet in hopes of doubling the money you have already won especially if a huge amount of money can help you pay for bills or more then you should pay for that instead of trying to make your money bigger because you may just end up losing
-

That's true because the people that does that a lot are Martingale gamblers, they don't get scared of increasing there amount, actually how gambling should work is that if someone lose some funds they had in mind to use then they forget about getting in again whether they loss or not because in gambling the moment the spirit of repeating gambling is activated then losing has become and express way.
People should always think about the things that matters most to them than those kind of gambling, I could remember someone who uses there company money to gamble and lost all, and it did not end there, the company arrested him to pay the money that was giving to him, the problem with some gamblers is that they're unrealistic to themselves.

In life there are many factors that may affect what we do and sometimes the desire to continue making attempts in a certain venture may lead one to forget about the repercussions to expect. All of us realise situations when, if an additional action is taken, the condition will improve; however, it may exacerbate the problem instead. When a person lacks self control any chance that were given to one could turn to be a liability. It is a concept that relates not only to them, but to other persons they interact with in the course of their activities. The people do not wish to be in such a situation, but the actions which are not thought over can lead a person to worse state. Thus, the prospects can be less culpable in choosing the steps we take so as to avoid compromising ourselves with a situation that is hard to extricate from.

Yeah that is why it's important to gamble neutrally without attaching much feelings or having to think is the only to generate money. When we gamble whether winning or losing we should know when to stop and when to limit and how much should be our capacity to gamble, with this there could be room to control addiction or how people gets easily enticed by gambling because at the cost of chasing losses then they suddenly becomes addicts which could be that hard to stop.

It is only a coincidence that a fortune teller can predict victory, because basically fortune tellers are the same as us, they are only human, I personally do not believe in fortune tellers, if you want to gamble, just play, winning or losing is our ultimate goal when gambling,
If we go to a fortune teller due to the result of sports bet and if he predicted and the result the result of the bet is same, then we might start believing him in our hearts.
Yes, there will definitely be a level of trust if the prediction is correct, but we will not always have to meet a fortune teller every time we bet, and I also think this creates double spending, maybe if you win the money given to the fortune teller is a bonus from the bet, so if you lose 2x we will lose
so it is better to predict and learn the game can make us become responsible gamblers and believe in our choices and predictions

I personally never experienced consulting a fortune teller before or even a witch doctor which is very common here in my area. I don't believe those kinda things but other people living here even my friends do consulted to these magicians but still fail to bring home winnings instead they suffer heavy loses since they are fully confident about their bets which most of the time go against them. Though there are instances that they won but for me that was just coincidence.

I don't think i can manage to stop gambling if any threat should comes up to determine whether i quit or continue with gambling base on my choice, because i have seen gambling to be a source of joy to me, i don't think there have been times which i gamble and not being happy, then what should that thing be to take away my source of happiness from me for nothing, the better i enjoy it now while it last.

It is surprising to hear that you experience joy every time you gamble, despite the fact that gambling is unpredictable and a gambler cannot win all of the time. I am only surprised since it is not easy for a gambler to lose money while gambling and still be happy.
However, this is the most effective way to gamble. Gambling should be for entertainment, and as long as a gambler is enjoying himself, it will be difficult for him to chase losses because his intention is not to win, and he will stop when he is satisfied.
-

This is a serious matter that any time that any time that you gamble your happy this is a sign of addiction because the fact is that no body is really happy while gambling because on the over all you are losing more than making profit so you saying that your always happy while gambling is surprising to me because gambling with your hard earned money is not something that you should be happy about, but it's okay everyone has what makes him or her happy so if gambling is what makes you happy then it's good and keep it up

The urge to gamble even in a tight situation is a sign of addiction and addiction isn't a joke nor a happines for the gambler because at one point it is not entertainment he or she is up to but the satisfaction from that urge. Being happy with gambling is all good not unless you spend your entire time on it and prioritize it other than making your day productive.

Everyone has what they believe in, and what they don't in. For the fortune to tell me I can't make a fortune out of gambling, I will debunk him or her for such a thing because never have I thought of making a fortune out of gambling. Gambling is what I do in my leisure time

Gambling is some people fashion and I do that alot of times as well but I think having huge amount of money might put you to some tasks and responsibilities. Imagine having millions on your account, you will be scare to gamble more and not because you are afraid you will joy win but the addiction might comes if you lose to casino.
I have seen some people got a huge money bag from casino to not having anything again and after sometime, they lose everything. I will rather choose not to gamble again after making huge amount and then lose everything again, there should be a time to protect what you have than what you think you can make from casino.
-

It is easier said than done. All gamblers would wish not to gamble again if they could see ahead. There is this confidence winning gives and most gamblers have this habit of gambling more when they win. It is this mindset that makes them regret all the time. Most of them understands this but it is hard to take a break when they win.
Gamblers thinks that every gambling session is new and so they prefer not to apply past experience with the current gambling session since at this point games begin to appear promising and so resisting the temptation of playing becomes hard.
-
Well, what I mean is that fortune tellers will not always give correct predictions, sometimes there will be mistakes and inaccurate predictions, if a gambler makes a big bet and loses, I'm sure if that happens you will definitely be angry and upset with the fortune teller, but this can be a lesson that fortune tellers are not an option for getting victory in gambling
-
I was just thinking about something when this thought crossed my mind.
Yes I believe that gambling can never be half-earned. First they may lure me and give me some amount of money but later they will slowly take away my entire money and I will say it more rudely and there is nothing I can do about it. If someone tells me that I cannot earn money through gambling then I will give importance to his words and in that case I will agree with him. Although we gamble here but we can start with 5% of our entire income. So that we do not get addicted to it and can enjoy the pleasure.
-

The best way to gamble is to do your own analysis and predictions. This way, a gambler will not assign blame when he loses. The advantage of this is that the gambler will be aware that gambling can be unpredictable and thus be cautious about his stake.
Gamblers who rely on fortune tellers consistently lose more than necessary. The reason is that the trust they have on the fortune teller will make them stake so high on the game and since this is not genuine and guaranteed they will lose high stake.

Well, they may have people that gamble with the aim of becoming rich, but I'm not interested in gambling as a means of becoming rich. I don't believe in the supernatural powers or fortune teller. I always maintain a positive mindset in whatever I wanted to do. And I don't visit any fortune teller because I see them as a misconceptions, and also, I never stop pursuing my goals because someone claims that it that is going to be bringing bad luck to me.

with your friend's failure there you are increasingly convinced that a fortune teller is not the place we hope for, right?
your own efforts and predictions will be better than other people's teachings in my opinion,
in my area there are also many who believe so, they even come to old cemeteries to ask for guidance, I think something like this is very crazy

People’s beliefs in what is beyond reason or irrationality can be attributed to the uncertainty people experience in life. But this cannot and should not overshadow the fact that there are many other rational and moderate strategies of coping up with adversities. Though some may get a sense of consolation in following the prophecies or a turn to the specific places, in fact it gives only an appearance of control over the future. Proudly work on your dream and wait for the improvement; this is the kind of improvement which is more conscious and self-reliant. Thus, turning to someone else for a decision that we can make ourselves more wisely and surely puts off such decisions longer.

I feel the same way about myself. I don't see gambling as a source of income that would make me a compulsive gambler. But if gambling were to be restricted on me, I would consider it an intrusion on my personal freedom. I get the temporary pleasure and excitement from gambling, but being told to stop would definitely be a negative thing for me. Since I'm not a compulsive gambler, I won't gamble. I'll try to continue doing what I love.

Different people have different ways of seeking fun, and this form of fun is not a subject to criticism from other people by every single one of them. If certain activity is done responsibly and does not have any vices, it normal that its regulation or the ban on it seems like infringement of one’s rights. Nevertheless, rules are created not only to encumber someone or limit his or her freedom but, as a rule, for the benefit of all people. The important thing is not whether something is forbidden or not but how one stands by regarding every decision made. As long as we are aware of the choices that we have to make, there would be no reason why we should get disturbed with the decisions that have been made voluntarily in this world.

It's good to see that you have made a standard for yourself and with this in my mind, you are going to gamble the way you like and how you want it without ever thinking of been addicted to it. It's the people that are looking for a way to use gambling to make money that do became most of these addiction to gambling we have discussed here for a long time.
If you at gambling, learn to create boundaries between your ways and gambling else you will be shock how you are going to be too exposed to gambling and by the time you don't see anything, it becomes a big challenge to leave because gambling addiction is different from other forms of gambling.

to me gambling is controlled by spirit because every gambler, I mean addict gambler, it is very difficult for them to stop gambling because of that spirit behind gambling so if a fortune teller tells a gambler that he cannot be wealthy in gambling it cannot prevent the gambler not to gamble because is a lifestyle and it has become their nature. That's my opinion.
That’s why it’s good for people to always do things moderately because it will prevent them from some kinds circumstances such as addiction in gambling.
Yeah, people gamble for one reason or the other but it doesn’t mean, they have to become an addict, also it’s advisable that one should gamble responsibly and if they know that control themselves when they plans did not work, they should learn to work away and keep themselves busy to remove their minds from the loss they encounter earlier.
Though it’s difficult to leave but they should try and seek help from a close friend, families or go for therapy especially if they see themselves as an addict.

Many a times we have thought of defeat as a complete failure and failure is just a wakeup call to remind us where we are headed. It is not always due to a lack of information because some do it supposing that they are capable of handling a certain thing than slowly it develops on them without any opposition. Whenever what we doing becomes a habit due to the fulfilment of certain desires, then all we are doing is engaging in activities that are meaningless. But even in that position, keeping busy is not the solution since distraction without depth prolongs the same wound to return.

Well everyone should not see gambling as a source of income, and if you do, then most likely you will end up getting rekt because we are not assured that everytime we gamble, we will win money to feed us or to put food in the table for our family. As far as the question though, I will still go up and play and gamble, I mean what happen to free will? Even if someone will tell me that I will lose money, then I will just play to have some fun a long the way without getting bothered on what will the fortune teller will tell me. Still up to me as I'm the master of myself and not others.

Well, that is just it, people don’t always listen to an advice given to them especially if they only see more of the benefits than the loss, they will want to try it by themselves and taste the feeling of loss and even when they are still losing, they won’t still heed to advise. So the only thing that will work on them is either they advise themselves or they get therapy, because such people would want to always want to recover their money, even when they are losing, they will still keep trying with the hope of recovery and if they are not stop, it will surely lead to damage or destruction in their lives, which will bring regrets and depression for the rest of their lives. So for this not to happen, they will have to resist from it early and should be in moderate either for fun or for income.

The fact that winning is entirely based on luck it will be difficult to win even when one apply the best strategy in their prediction. However the wrong perspectives gamblers have in gamble is what make them lose more when they gamble. Many gamblers believes that gamble is another means for them to generate wealth because they might overheard of someone that have won huge amount of money from gamble. So because of that, they risk more than what they can afford to lose and when they lose it, they begin to chase after their losses.

In my opinion the greatest temptations of gambling do not lie in winning and losing; however, it lays more on the wait for the unexpected results. There lies the danger because when you develop a feeling that gets the adrenaline pumping, that is normal, then losses also gradually become normal. You may often come across big winning storeys but few of them come with details of the number of people who lost big when playing these games. All those who come into a casino are ready to lose their money and do not expect to win because such a situation would not make sense because there is always a gap between the real world and the world of desire. This is where something that earlier appeared to be just insignificant becomes a routine that is not easy to change.

I have heard some gamblers say that the income they earn from their regular jobs is not enough for them. They gamble to add some extra money but it turns out that they lose more than they win. It is wrong to assume that gambling will lead to winnings. If someone gambles for income, it may be small but still it is uncertain and the gambler's losses will increase. That is why it is better to use gambling only for fun with small amounts.

Lets take into consideration that poverty is an opportunity to unlock prosperity. On the other hand managing money is not really about how smart you you are or can be. But about your habit towards money. Dont feel too comfortable with gambling even if its a short term thing , its best to start diverting little or less into investing to delay my gratification and be rest assured i will be building a financial future for myself and all than continue in gambling.

It is easier to tell a gambler to gamble for fun but in actuality it is impossible for a gambler without enough fun to gamble for fun. Needs are insatiable and so it is not out of place for a gambler to gamble for extra money.
The only problem is when such gambler is gambling without a blue print. A blue print will help the gambler to gamble meaningfully even though he desires to make money and prevent the gambler from chasing losses.

This is one of the major reasons as to why when people want to aim big he or she forgets that every move made is actually an added risk or burden. In those cases when people are oriented only with anticipation that they can win whereas they do not have any concept as to what they’re going to do next the margin for controlling becomes limited. Anyone with any knowledge of logical thinking will understand that momentary decisions lead to further more dangerous decisions. Some of these are not only about the outcomes; they are also about the load that increases each day. If we consider gambling as entertainment and still want to get results then a clear plan will facilitate to avoid being entrapped in the loop of unconscious losing way. It hardly encompasses a feeling of gratification that originates from realising that what has been chosen at certain point is more tempered and that we are aware of what we can do and where are we heading.
