I was just thinking about something when this thought crossed my mind. This is about people who gamble for monetary gain. So, if a fortune teller tells you that you cannot become wealthy through gambling, will you continue to gamble knowing that the only reason you gamble is to make money? And now that your fate regarding gambling has been revealed, will you doubt it and continue gambling, or will you stop gambling because it is not possible to make money through it?

This is not the case of continuing to gamble or not. This is the exact case of, if you trust the the fortune teller or if you believe in fortune telling. If you do believe in it, you'll definitely not gamble again because you will just waste your money. But if you don't believe in fortune telling, you will continue to gamble.

Again, if you believe in fortune tellers and have been winning before, there's every tendency that you have to doubt the fortune teller for a while and continue gambling.

Depends on one’s beliefs and traditions. But as for me I don’t think I will agree with that cause the teller isn’t god or something. If I have faith in myself that I can have money and get rich then I guess I will continue gambling and follow my faith .

Gambling is not primarily for making money, gambling is only for entertainment. I never use gambling as a means of making money I always use gambling as entertainment. If someone says you can't get rich from gambling, I will never stop gambling because I gamble in my free time just for fun. However, there are many people who use gambling as a way to earn money, so they may stop gambling. But I also always believe that gambling can never solve a person's financial problems. If gambling can't solve people's financial problems, why should we use gambling as a way to make money.

to me gambling is controlled by spirit because every gambler, I mean addict gambler, it is very difficult for them to stop gambling because of that spirit behind gambling so if a fortune teller tells a gambler that he cannot be wealthy in gambling it cannot prevent the gambler not to gamble because is a lifestyle and it has become their nature.
