The world top leading economies are actually struggling with economic problems this is what most people are not aware of because of the way that they have been able to put their image on the television because looking critically at the American economy after the covid pandemic it has continued to struggle with high inflation rate , more job lose and and unemployment rate and American economy is in a serious dept of about 36 Trillion dollars with an average person Dept of about $108,136.
China the world second leading economy too has been struggling really bad with their economy as China is having a national dept of about 27.2 dollars .

Super power nations seems to suffer these kind of struggle nowadays so how much more those that were suffering from that for decades like the third world countries like mine. I think we do have like more or less $280B dept and currently inflation rate is lower at 2.1% compared to previous month which is 2.8ish percent but yeah hopefully the government will take action on the thing that needs to be done to improve and grow the economy though easier said than done but I wish they will they despite the political unrest.

While the rich countries are struggling, all the rest are also suffering same difficulties because whatever happen to them affects the smaller countries dependent on the products coming from them.
There is no country today that isn't struggling with their economy and joblessness. But the oil countries in the middle east though still has money because all countries rely mostly on the energy they provide.

If we take a good look at the International debt statistics, we would see that most of all this our top dream country are in serious debt, countries like China, India etc. Their economy is suffering in one way or the other. But one thing to note here is that they have systems in place to manage this economic crises. For example in the USA there are still some jobless citizens there who haven't been able to secure a job, but they still have a means of feeding because the government shoulders and give her citizens some amount of money. All this would make it difficult for that citizen to go about committing crimes like it is seen in other countries which I would not mention but I know we all know the country am talking about.

No country in the world that is not in any financial debt. They all have financial debts, finding ways to pay them off gradually, not at once because it will affect the economy of the country.
Most of the owed debts of a country have stayed for years, they increase in numbers because the present or past government keeps borrowing money from the World Bank to sort out or boost their country's economy.
-
I'm not the best person to tackle this discussion but I learned that you shouldn't just look at the debt to measure a country's economy. The better metric is looking at their Debt to GDP ratio. You can look up the latest stats.
Anyway, the biggest countries like the US can continue issuing bonds/treasuries to 'pay' their debts but who knows if they would actually fulfill it? Maybe they can just wage another military war through a proxy? They've been trying to get close to China.

They developed countries are also struggling, even though we are not aware of what is going on with them in most situation, but the little we have the opportunity of knowing are what we reacted upon, if they can be this challenged with inflation rate and the likes and still maintain the hierarchy they are in the global settings, this shows a well organization and effective management and leadership with their countries, which most of the developing countries lack through their leaders, we should know this that everything will have to depend on the kind of leaders there in a country, to determine is economic sustainability.

Government giving their citizens some amount of money is what makes the inflation worse. They did this as stimulus package worth 1200 in covid days which I think it helped but they are also saying this money made the people more reliant to the government and they aren't looking for jobs because of it.
What economist are saying is that if US is having a hard time, it affects all other countries.

It’s surprising how much debt these big countries have! People think the U.S. and China are super rich, but they’re actually struggling too. Prices keep going up, jobs are being lost, and the debt just keeps growing. It really makes you wonder how they keep everything running.

Last week I spoke with a friend of mine in U.S and he told me of the series of crimes being committed there, I didn't believe him at first because the movies I usually watch depicts America as a peaceful nation, but the reality is that just like Nigeria is, other countries are still experiencing corruption and crimes in high rate.

Us inflation 2.8%.
Us unemployment 4.1%.
Nigeria inflation 23.18%
Nigeria unemployment 4.30%.
You know that story of the kettle and the pot? ;D

Actually, corruption and lack of political will are major obstacles to economic development in my country. So if the government wants, these two obstacles to the economy can be easily eliminated with good will. Since my country does not have an accountability system, corruption is prevalent in a large part. However, the economy of our country can also be enriched through the production of exportable goods. Just like there is no country that does not export Chinese goods. In my country, only a few products are exported so we need to focus on producing many quality products.

Higher debt doesn't necessarily mean a bad thing, if government wants to pay off their debt then their option is to increase the tax which again impact the citizens directly that is why better borrow the money and take the burden away from people. And if we look at the bigger picture then we realise that it's way to pump the money into the economy so the inflation will increase and money created out of thin air, another reason why we need Decentralised monetary system.

first of all we won’t really know how bad the lifestyle is at a country until we visit it and we experience what it’s like to live there every day but also why we romanticize the life abroad is because no matter how bad it is there, it is still better than in some of the third world countries

Well yeah true. Nowadays I don't usually believe in news and social media for some reason because of fakery that's going on tons and tons of propaganda that's misleading and we are now victims of false belief just by looking at these outlets. I don't travel abroad but I am just curious what really is going on in countries the media is referring to as struggling economies of some sort I always see that on socmed seems a clickbait to me or it really is true? What do you think?

Exactly, Every country, society and economy are facing one problem or the other. No any country is exceptional but their ways of handling the problems is different, some economics suffer from lack of social amenities, unemployment, inequality, environmental problems, poor healthcare infrastructure, corruption, poverty, lack of electricity, poor agricultural infrastructure, lack of proper awareness, and illiteracy, these are the factors that contribute to the challenges a lot of societies are facing today, And they need to be addressed for the stability of the economic.

It is said that when you’re going through rough times, you should not look like your problem but rather still compose yourself to look good to the outside. This is what I think and feel of the American and Chinese government economies that are also facing hard times but yet many countries still look up to them to be like them and develop to their state in the future. The truth still remains that every government has their backlogs but it all depends on how you manage yours that others can know and have something to see to embrace or forsake such economy in the eye of the world. The economy of every country is not perfect, so every one knows well better how they handle it to make things keep moving smoothly.

we are used to seeing good life in the land of the free milk and honey but that was before. now you can't even talk on social media for they block and shutdown pages.
they are supporting wars around the world and just like how Rome feel, they spend much money on it than to the development inside the country. so its not surprising anymore there will be. there are influences covering the chaos in US actually from its homelessness to infrastructures they forgot to renovate. just signs of decline they say.

No economy in the world has reached the level of autarky, and thus cannot be self-sufficient; however, this does not imply that all countries' economic development is the same. No doubt, the American and Chinese governments may experience setbacks in their economic development, but these countries are always deliberate about their country's growth, and their economic policies and strategies are constantly reviewed to ensure they remain relevant among countries in the international trade system.

China the world second leading economy too has been struggling really bad with their economy as China is having a national dept of about 27.2 dollars .
And yet China is posing to invade Taiwan and threatening the Philippines in their own territory. It seem China thinks he can have an economic advantage if he can invade Taiwan, thereby controlling Taiwan's semiconductor industry and controlling the West Philippine Sea and exploring its natural resources. he is thinking forward at a very huge cost, if ever.

On point, every country has its own face of economic problems, but if it’s manage properly by their leaders, you will think that they are not facing any economic crisis or challenges.
Any country that the economy is really affecting its own citizens m, it’s cause by their leaders, because they don’t want to protect their country and its people and failure to do will attract people who from far and near to make mockery of them. That its why it’s very necessary or important to elected a good leader, that can be there for its people, to protect its citizens.

we can never know the extent of truth until we experience it ourselves i do believe that we can find some truth in some news however being there and experiencing things first hand will always be the best truth teller we just need to find the most trusted and accurate news source but always take it with a grain of salt
the best sources of news are the people living there themselves

Yeah but the CCP has already invaded the Philippines discreetly by funding troll, deepfakes, rebels, spies, drugs, smugglers POGO which was already been discussed in the senate I see it on google news. It seems that China is trying to distabilize the country's economy to make an advantage and weaken so they can launch their plans.
