Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: I am an honest crypto bounty hunter
« on: August 06, 2020, 05:53:56 PM »
Bounty is sweet especially when you are favour to have participated in a legit project. Sometimes, hunters are hurt without getting paid, scam projects, unsuccessful IEO or ICOs in raising fund. I am hoping to rejoin again if I can find a meaningful one.

Study, study and study. Yes, I mean education. First thing a newbie should avoid in crypto space is scam and fraud. If you don't know the basic of cryptocurrency such as wallet and how to set up account, you might end up in the wrong hands of people if one is not careful.

Let's say the truth so others can be guided. No matter how tight a security is, there will be set of people that will explore that with out getting caught. It happens even in airlines. Some kyc are done manually while some are done using AI. Anything can happen.

We are evaluating projects based on:
- Social Engagement Volume
- Positive Price Change
- 7D Trading Volume
It's decentralized finance tokens that dominate that list. Ocean protocol has been growing immensely in the last couple of days. I think REN is having some kind of new update to their community.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Pandemic is blessings in disguise?
« on: August 06, 2020, 05:31:46 PM »
I respect our brothers and sisters inside and outside of this forum who are going through in pandemic. Also it is unethical to say Blessings in Disguise where some lose their love ones.

Please don't misunderstand the topic this is just about crypto, nothing more nothing less.

In my point of view in some areas this pandemic is blessings in disguise through rest of mother earth, family time, and specially in cryptocurrency in terms of DeFi enhancement while the people is at home. DeFi can help greatly the community to do transactions through Digital Finance conveniently, saving time and risk to health.
Blessing in disguise to me and real blessing to those who were waiting for the market fall and pick up at low prices. My portfolio bleed so badly, affected emotionally but what do I do. Lesson learned and I have move on.
I am waiting when price will drop and enter again. There is always plenty of opportunity in cryptocurrency.

Either new or old, it doesn't matter. The important thing is if they have working products. I think Defi projects are still good to pick for the coming bull run.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: How can ICOs come back in the game?
« on: August 06, 2020, 05:25:48 PM »
Crypto is all about trend, it has shifted from ICOs to IEO and IEOs are fading away with as time goes on. The new trend is Defi projects. ICOs is as good as dead.

Because BITCOINTALK suck. The merit system is built for favouritism. No matter how hard you try to engage in activities, you will end getting nothing. They see newbie as full of shit and valueless. Top rank users aren't friendly.

Because Ethereum is already 5 years old today I want to share my experience while holding ETH Wayback 2015. When I first entered into the crypto space in 2015 my first investment in crypto was with the Bitcoin and it was price $200 at that time and I get my Bitcoin in cloud mining contracts. while I bought some Ethereum at the price of $0.71 in the same year and I thought that Eth price will not grow beyond further because of its huge total supply but I'm wrong instead it grew up to $18 per coin But after the DAO hacking incident at that time the price continues to drop and because I'm already in Panic I was sold all my Eth at the price of $11 and that was the biggest mistake I've made so far because I never expected the ETH price to reach $1000+ in 2017-2018. Ethereum was still strong in 5 years. How about everyone can you share your experiences about Ethereum in the past 5 years  Don't hesitate to share it below!
Lesson learned but you have to move on. I bought BNB binace coin last December at the rate of $15/ BNB, the price went to $25 went they announced their cloud exchange but I refuse to sell thinking it will go higher. It was later when pandemic black Friday blew up my portfolio, I lost my profit and capital.  :'( :'( :'(

I think 2020 is all about Decentralized finance projects and they are really doing well even in their real use scenario. Unlike the days of Ico, even the almighty IEO is fading away.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Governments cannot control Bitcoin
« on: August 06, 2020, 01:40:59 PM »
Regulation is a great enemy of cryptos and as such, it is unnecessary for the it future growth. Once there is regulations, we are gonna see control by governments and institutions like  banks coming in, because they known that cryptos and the blockchain that brought the cryptos has actually come to change the way things has been done before now. In short no need for regulations.
As much as dislike regulations, I think there is pro and cons in everything.
There are still users that have been doing illegal business and hidden behind bitcoin and crypto. This is making crypto adoption becoming difficult and hard for new people.
If there is regulation, scamming and hackers might reduce in number.

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: Transaction fees
« on: August 06, 2020, 01:34:40 PM »
Sometimes, I gotta admit, that I can spend relatively a lot of money on the comission. I hope it will change somehow. I don't know how the other users can put up with it. Is there any legal way to avoid the fees?
This is where XRP comes into play, they have low fees and faster in handling transactions speed. Most of this fee isn't the developer's fault but the smart contract. Sending tokens through smart contracts tend to have high fee esp ERC20 tokens.

Some of these fees on exchange are used to buy back the utility tokens of the exchange to appreciate in value and also to make investors happy.

Africa remains one of the best continent with crypto adoption been trading, buying as P2P and also merchant.
I have been hearing around Akoin project and its city, hope it doesn't fail as one of those ones as usual. I am looking forward to see if Africa will produce a unique project

XRP - Ripple Forum / Re: Do you think ripple have advantage?
« on: August 06, 2020, 01:19:00 PM »
I only adopt ripple because of low fees especially when you try to send out large amounts of funds.
The transaction on the blockchain is so fast compare to other coins.
