Transaction fees
« on: July 26, 2020, 04:22:51 PM »
What do you think about transaction fee? Sometimes it really pisses me of.somedy, In the perfect world, there will be no comission at all. But frankly, I see that some exchanges have already decided to do that. I found a post, that it could be highly likely that the big part of the exhanges will do that soon. https://this Url is blocked due to spam/en/blog/free-transactions. Sometimes, I gotta admit, that I can spend relatively a lot of money on the comission. I hope it will change somehow. I don't know how the other users can put up with it. Is there any legal way to avoid the fees?

It is a horror what some  centralised exchanges charges for transactions fee and withdrawal fee. This makes trading not to be smooth. Making decentralised exchanges looking more attractive. In fact, a decentralised exchange like INJECTIVE PROTOCOL is designed to be a second layer to trade border less on other DExs

The charges on some transactions lately is really annoying. You can even be charged as high as $10 on a bitcoin transaction which involves a meagre amount less than $50. Initially, the exchanges were the major culprit of these exorbitant charges. Some wallets are also becoming  fond of that too. For the best of charges on transactions especially on withdrawal fees, you need to try the wallet application from atomicwallet.io where users can have their transactions confirmed at a faster  rate with low fees.

This is where XRP comes into play, they have low fees and faster in handling transactions speed. Most of this fee isn't the developer's fault but the smart contract. Sending tokens through smart contracts tend to have high fee esp ERC20 tokens.

Some of these fees on exchange are used to buy back the utility tokens of the exchange to appreciate in value and also to make investors happy.

Hibtc has been a nightmare in terms of this withdrawal fee, I believe that lots of people avoid the exchange due to low trading volume and most importantly withdrawal fee, they have the highest withdrawal fee in crypto space, currently its $10+ just for withdrawal fee

This has been a serious challenge these past couple of weeks owing to increase in value and prices of bitcoin and Ethereum. Also, the difficulty in mining has also prompted the increase in cryptocurrency fees and it has led to congestion in the several blockchains. The best crypto for usage at the moment is TRON or waves both of which have seemingly maintained their cheaper fees and speeds.

The Bitcoin and Ethereum transaction fees are really unstable. But still both are dominating the crypto industry because of the users already trust the crypto leaders.

It is horrible and terrific how transaction fees skyrocketed this period, though network congestion is a factor to consider as well. Imagine less than  weeks ago I used almost $2 as transaction fee to send ETH of less than $5 because i needed it urgently.

It pisses me off too. But I think after a while everything will be restored and the transaction fees will be small again.

I think it's a fixed price, like eth withdrawal is 0
01 eth, no matter the price of eth the fraction of 0.01 will remain constant

Some platform doesn't set fixed amount. If you think about MEW, then you will be able to see that fee is variable there.

I think transaction fees are born because they say they need a profit to keep the exchanges running. Airdrops are generated from exchanges, aren't you very excited when they run the airdrop? Adopt it, as it's tiny for the money you have

I don't think there are ways out there to avoid fees in making transaction from what exchange you're using.

Transaction fee is an important thing for every exchanger. It is not possible for exchanges to make free the transaction fee because it is one of the income sources of the exchanges. But transaction fee should be reasonable. Some exchanges take high transaction fee which make a burden to us. It should be lower.
