I think 2020 is all about Decentralized finance projects and they are really doing well even in their real use scenario. Unlike the days of Ico, even the almighty IEO is fading away.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Governments cannot control Bitcoin
« on: August 06, 2020, 01:40:59 PM »
Regulation is a great enemy of cryptos and as such, it is unnecessary for the it future growth. Once there is regulations, we are gonna see control by governments and institutions like  banks coming in, because they known that cryptos and the blockchain that brought the cryptos has actually come to change the way things has been done before now. In short no need for regulations.
As much as dislike regulations, I think there is pro and cons in everything.
There are still users that have been doing illegal business and hidden behind bitcoin and crypto. This is making crypto adoption becoming difficult and hard for new people.
If there is regulation, scamming and hackers might reduce in number.

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: Transaction fees
« on: August 06, 2020, 01:34:40 PM »
Sometimes, I gotta admit, that I can spend relatively a lot of money on the comission. I hope it will change somehow. I don't know how the other users can put up with it. Is there any legal way to avoid the fees?
This is where XRP comes into play, they have low fees and faster in handling transactions speed. Most of this fee isn't the developer's fault but the smart contract. Sending tokens through smart contracts tend to have high fee esp ERC20 tokens.

Some of these fees on exchange are used to buy back the utility tokens of the exchange to appreciate in value and also to make investors happy.

Africa remains one of the best continent with crypto adoption been trading, buying as P2P and also merchant.
I have been hearing around Akoin project and its city, hope it doesn't fail as one of those ones as usual. I am looking forward to see if Africa will produce a unique project

XRP - Ripple Forum / Re: Do you think ripple have advantage?
« on: August 06, 2020, 01:19:00 PM »
I only adopt ripple because of low fees especially when you try to send out large amounts of funds.
The transaction on the blockchain is so fast compare to other coins.

XRP - Ripple Forum / Re: Why Ripple is hated so much?
« on: August 06, 2020, 01:16:24 PM »
I don't know exactly what is the reason probably I think ripple is a connection with many banks this is the legalized system so they can track all transactions very easily so there is no privacy so lot of cryptocurrency users are believe on decentralized platforms .
If I remember very well, there were some news going around late last year that the CEO and the team were dumping coins on investors. They sold about $50 million worth of XRP from lock XRP coins.
There was a period whale alert tweeted when millions of XRP was on the move. I just think that XRP is not transparent that's why

XRP - Ripple Forum / Re: Ripple is good then the XVG coin.
« on: August 06, 2020, 01:11:04 PM »
Ripple is a great coin and so many peoples says that this coin future is good but some says that XVG is a great coin but i suggest that ripple is good then the XVG.
I don't fancy privacy coins but if you do, I will advise you get some but I still prefer ripple than xvg. If not for the halving, I never knew it existed

XRP - Ripple Forum / Re: I have invested lately, what is your opinion?
« on: August 06, 2020, 01:08:18 PM »
I have invested 1000 XRP in the opinion of experts. Hope you get good results. I want to be a good investor. What is your opinion? Can I be profitable? I have invested according to the advice of a friend.
Your wallet or portfolio should be smiling in profits by now.
I think BTC will push more to the upside if BTC don't reverse

ETF are good to hold especially where there is no liquidation. There is more gains than holding actual bitcoin, but when price reduce, you loss 3 times the value which most investors wouldn't really like because of it volatility

I only have a mindset that is simple and easy to say.
I will give my experience like this:

-If bitcoin is sent from a personal wallet to Exchange it is likely that sales will be sold for Bitcoin and the result is a Dump.
-If the coin is stable from the personal wallet to the Exchange then it will occur a purchase of Bitcoin and the results are Pump.

Correct me if I'm wrong.
Sometimes most these coins that are transferred from wallet to exchanges aren't really whale. $2M worth of BTC can't do anything to the market.
Most of this input are generally from the miners who sale to generate their revenue.

Your opinion is greatly appreciated.
This isn't about Turkey alone, this is global problem and the country that I fear the most is the US with the amount of USD printed by FEDs, the dollar is depreciating in value.
I am ashamed of my own country currency. We were already in inflation before the pandemic even started without a proper measure.
Bitcoin and other decentralized cryptocurrencies now compare favorably with conventional currencies and can save many people from inflation of their savings in national currencies of states.
Bitcoin is still coupled with forex, when the economy is sinking with hyper inflation, investors tend to sell their equities. This is where Bitcoin is to take merit but its always the opposite fallen together with equities. Bitoin still has lot of challenges, don't you think?

Since bitcoin recover from that V shape pattern, I have noticed that every dip is always bought back by investors. 8k is super support as it been tested just twice since the halving event. BTC will be in another inaction within 11k range pending another news, either affirmative or negative.
Investors are more fundamental.

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: Mistakes to avoid during Bull run
« on: August 06, 2020, 06:42:44 AM »
Failure of people to always recognise that taking profits for every bullish trend is one of the greatest mistakes anyone can make. Always understand that the rise wouldn't last forever and as such, profits should be taken out at interval. Several projects have suffered great loss in value and prices since the last bullish trend way back in 2017. People who didn't take profits back then have had to watch on as their portfolios suffered massive drains. Remember to always take profits in any bull run.
I know right. BTC is already testing 12k for the second time, I know some people will fail to sale some and lock their profits. It's better with small profits than nothing or loss

Ethereum Forum / Re: Ethereum fees are becoming like Bitcoin fees
« on: August 06, 2020, 06:24:30 AM »
6.44$ is still more.. Even when you do trust wallet or metamask.. Directly from uniswap, you will pay maybe less than 3$ or sometimes less than 2$
This is even better, I tried sending some USDT to and exchange, my trust wallet almost charged $9 worth of of ether to send  $39 USDT. It's becoming annoying.

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: Decentralized and centralized
« on: August 06, 2020, 06:16:13 AM »
Everyone likes centralized exchange because have different altcoins trading that is multi-blockchain coins, but in decentralized exchange, you can trade only those tokens that are related to specific blockchain
if you read the article posted by OP, you will understand that your reasons for comparing the two is not merit over Decentralized though its limited.
Decentralized exchanges can either be currency-centric or currency-neutral.

Some decentralized exchange (currency-centric) allows their users to trade using a single blockchain e.g Uniswap on Ethereum blockchain while some decentralized exchange gives their users freedom to trade other coins on different blockchain though, such decentralized exchanges are limited in number.
