Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Who is actually beating the Altcoins?
« on: February 16, 2021, 02:23:43 PM »
The Cryptocurrency is filled up with different kinds of crypto projects and many other tokens and coins to be listed on the exchange soon and many are to be added to the market, but there's one significant thing about the market, it was observed that bitcoin always beating every Altcoins in the market reason been that when bitcoin rises other coins and tokens falls, and when also the bitcoin falls other coins still has no choice but to fall, is it true that bitcoin beat the crypto market?

On a micro level, Altcoins always beat Bitcoin but on a macro range, most of these Altcoin lose to Bitcoin. The reason is that most people are very confident holding Bitcoin than any other Altcoins in the space, this shows in the dominance of Bitcoin, for now it is 58% and there was a time during Altcoin season that the figure was close to 38%. I a bear market you don't want to be a bag holder because most of these Altcoin can lose up to 90% of their value from ATH

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Holding Cryptos for Ten Long Years
« on: February 14, 2021, 03:29:55 PM »
People should not get carried away, Bitcoin has been the best performing asset for the past 10 years and that do not mena that other crypto tokens would follow suit, things change very fast in the space, I will not invest in a project and leave it for 10 years and go and sleep never, all my long terms tokens are under active portfolio management anyone I suspect is not leaving up to expectation is sold for another promising project and this is the way everyone should see the project, there are a lot of projects in the space that raised 10's of millions and are dead now

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: What are your major fears this season ?
« on: February 14, 2021, 03:14:53 PM »
My fear is that all these institutional investors entering the space won't hijack Bitcoin, I don't know the amount of Bitcoin being owned by these high network individuals but we know how things work in Crypto is different from how things work in the space and we can even see that with those projects perceived to be VC's projects and those project seeing as a community projects, if this people come on board and want to dictate the pace of development in Bitcoin we are likely to see another civil war we saw in 2017 with BCash.

Honestly, i am getting frustrated and furious with the high gas fees in the ethereum platforms. if something is not seriously done about it. Ethereum will definitely fall. i strongly believed this is the main reason why ethereum has not make any serious move above 2000usd. and untill that problem is been resolved, ethereum will not pass the 2000usd price mark.
i am asking here if there anyone with a concrete idea of when the long awaiting Ethereum 2.0 will kickoff.

I do agree with you that Ethereum would be usable if they allow the price to go beyond $2k, why do I need to pay $150 for $100 transaction. If there is no clear path to when this Ethereum 2.0 would be launched then I expect, Ethereum not to be relevant again in a year's time because people and developers would have moved to another protocol and there are many of them out there now, Solano, Polkadot, Binance chain, Avalanche etc

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Who Benefited from AME Token?
« on: February 14, 2021, 01:57:58 PM »
The token dumped significantly recently but the price has pumped to more than half the IEO price, the issue with Amepay is lack of experience in the way the space work, why are you dashing out tokens to bounty hunters even before your ICO, they will dump it at the earliest possible opportunity and also they have bad tokenmetrics and the APY for staking tokens is just ridiculous and not sustainable

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Who has safepal?
« on: February 14, 2021, 01:54:58 PM »
The gains from Safepal Launchpad is very huge, close to 35X return for those that sold at the top, I missed it and very painful,  I expect people to rust into their next launchpad if Binance decided to use this method for their next launchpad. I don't think the current valuation is right for a project that almost nobody is using thi hard wallet and even their wallet

There will always be new ideas, it just depends on how people buy into it, DEFI is nothing new, it is just that recently people buys into it, remeber when privacy coins are the other of the day, before DEFI, it was Smart contract, now it is the time of DEFI and all kind of ideas will be built on it.

All these boils down to Portfolio management. for me Bitcoin pumps first, later the big blue chip projects joins the party, this is when you start allocating part of your BTC to these blue chips projects and then follow by mid cap projects and then the shit coins, when shit coins start pumping it is time to start re allocating your capital to Fiat or stable coins. If you want more BTC you can only make it trading these Altcoins, just don't get greedy

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Are you selling now?
« on: February 13, 2021, 02:21:00 PM »
There is no sin in holding but the market never moves in straight line, this is the reason I keep taking profit to be able to buy any dip that is likely to come. The greed level in the space is close to 100% and when you see small projects starts pumping it is a sign that we are in for correction and profit talking will result unless we see another institutional investors buy into BTC and  pump the price to new ATH but the better we have the correction now so as to be able establish a new floor before the run continues

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Let your Opinion be Heard
« on: February 13, 2021, 02:14:19 PM »
Bitcoin and Ethereum will always do well in the bull market but for me Polkadot and Binance are two big projects in the space to watch, both are likely to challenge Ethereum for its second position. Polkadot is more Decentralised as compared to Binance chain but Binance already has a strong community and strong ecosystem, people do not care about Decentralisation when they can make money and Binance chain is providing new opportunity to make money. Watch these two

These are my top 10 projects, I am going for the establish projects because I believe the institutional money entering BTC will find their way into them.

1. BTC
2. BNB
3. DOT
4. Sushi
5. Aave
6. MakerDao
7. Prep
8. Compund
9. Ethereum
10. Link

All these projects will do well

I do pity most of these newbies entering the space especially those that enter in the bull market, they will think the price always goes up but they never witness losing 90% of their portfolio because it would be very hard for them to take a loss early. In Crypto always live to die another day. I hope they get the wisdom in this post

Dego is a good idea with decent team behind it, and even surprise the project can catch this level of interest they have already gotten, I won't be investing into the project because I feel there are better team and ideas in the space that can execute and deliver better product to DEGO project.

Elon Musk is a very popular man due to his big list of success stories, so he has become like a symbol of triumph to many of us. Whatever he is saying can have an impact on many markets. And recently, this is proven when he just merely included the word Bitcoin on his Twitter account. The same happened to Dogecoin and maybe XRP.

What is amazing is that Elon is not actually holding a lot of cryptocurrency and his company is not known to be involved with it either (though of course, we don't know for sure because there are many ways to hide one's involvement with anything).

Should we continue listening to this man? And to what extent will his endorsement be effective in pumping the cryptocurrency market?

Why won't people listen to him, the riches man in the world unless you prefer poverty to wealth that this Man will talk and you won't listen to him. He loves to catch fun and he is one that interacts with his users directly, knowing that he can pull people towards his view, he decided to use these influence to his advantage, thank God he declares he now own BTC

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Percentage of project success in 2021?
« on: February 11, 2021, 08:57:28 AM »
We are in a bull market so I think all these project will survive and people will make money from them, project will start to fail in a bear market, because most are just here for the money and the team would have burnt the money they have in reserves and will create many new bag holders because no new money is entering the space.
