Cryptocurrency discussions / [TAU]COIN: a BTC/NXT/NEM Upgrade
« on: August 30, 2018, 09:48:19 AM »
We are almost finished with our new consensus model that uses activity as the main metric in block rewards.

Conceptually, is there any reason that staking needs to be part of the consensus model? Our goal is to be even MORE egalitarian than NEM and allow participation without a minimum staking requirement

My first article discussing more aspects of the project

Would you trust a ICO team that will not share fund raising amounts?

I have Trons (trx) on Exodus wallet. Now after the main-net  tron will no longer be a ERC20 tokens.  So what will happen to my coins on Exodus wallet?

Do I have to move them some where?  Thanks in advance

Cryptocurrency discussions / Do you think there should be a Crypto Bank?
« on: August 30, 2018, 09:41:37 AM »
What do you think about crypto bank which hold all the reserves and give insurance of your crypto assets?

35
•What if I dont have any money ? And I decided to hold my altcoin at my wallet.
•Will the value remain?

For example

I got a Klarity token and I got no gas so I will leave it there for a year or two.

•Any chances of value getting higher? Or it will die to years later?

If you are just here to vote and not suggest a new REAL project then please just mention by replying on the thread with which project/projects you voted for.

If you are part of a community that is a real project and listed here then copy and paste the link of this thread to their ANN or their slack and direct them here to vote and discuss since it will help build awareness to that project.

WHEN YOU PRESENT A NEW PROJECT YOU BELIEVE IS A REAL PROJECT THEN PLEASE PROVIDE THE EXPLANATION OF EACH OF THE KEY POINTS AS OTHER MEMBERS HAVE ANSWERED. ESPECIALLY THE FINE DETAILS ON THE INITIAL DISTRIBUTION.

Like this

1. Proven #DevelopmentTeam  - already fully functioning product/software. Tweaks and improvements yet to come fine but the core product is functioning already.

2. Obvious Use case

3. Not already in the top 10

4. Initial distributional method (NO HARD CAP ICOS ALLOWED THESE ARE PROBABLE SCAMS THROUGH HUGE EQUIV INSTAMINES) also no other scams where the benefactors are still in control and benefiting from the projects success. The only hard cap ones that are allowed are those that ran for over 3 weeks with lots of advertising. Those that sold in a few moments to whales and insiders can fuck off. Other icos that were properly advertised to give opportunity to all to invest will be accepted.

5. Long term commitment and proven staying power (not essential but could be a big consideration)

IF YOU VOTE COMMENT WHICH YOU VOTED FOR ON THE THREAD AND SAY WHY YOU CHOSE IT OR THEM

Which other projects have proven developers, functioning software and real use cases.

Let's discuss this and get the poll populated with other possible "next big things"

No scams and nothing in the top 10 (these are already big things)

If you believe any of those in the poll should not be there then explain fully your reasoning behind that.

I am invested in over 100 alts but I believe these have the best chances of real success .... I am looking though for others to add since I am sure there are many that have escaped my attention.

I really want projects that have fully functioning or near on fully functioning software not white paper promises and dreams.

If you voted then please comment on the poll choice you selected. You can choose 5 and also you can alter your vote if later you find another project even more promising.

SO

1. Proven #DevelopmentTeam  - already fully functioning product/software. Tweaks and improvements yet to come fine but the core product is functioning already.
2. Obvious Use case
3. Not already in the top 10
4. Not a scam
5. Long term commitment and proven staying power (not essential but could be a big consideration)

Let's together (not just one person me) help locate and identify the real projects with proven functioning designs/software with use cases and great promise. It is a hard task to navigate the ann section now and identify anything remotely useful. It is pages of copy and past developments with unproven scamming dev teams and the skillful marketeers of dreamy fantasy white papers.

You don't like the poll options?? that's fine have your say. Introduce your project but make sure it meets the criteria. This poll is to identify the real proven projects not essentially put your project down nor pump any single project or group of projects. If a project meets the criteria it can be added. Of course some discussion and analysis of each and every project including those in the OP can be had.

Every comment is welcome and we should digest and analyse all information to make the best decisions for our investments. I am invested in those I have initially said i feel are the best opportunities here. Of course I would be why would i not invest in the ones I have put there. However I am not against changing to better opportunities could they be presented here. It would be crazy not to invest in things are proven or even likely to be better investments.

It has become apparent to me that most of the recent icos are run by marketeers with little or no crypto skillset. What they are promising will possibly never exist and the dev funding will be used with nothing to show. Of course there will be exceptions but this thread is not to find a needle in a haystack this thread is to provide noobs and indeed anyone with information regarding real proven projects.

OF COURSE DO YOUR OWN DEEP RESEARCH BEFORE INVESTING ANYTHING IN ANY PROJECT THIS THREAD IS ONLY A FILTER TO NARROW YOUR FIELD OF VIEW

ICOS ARE OKAY IF THEY WERE WELL ADVERTISED AND OPEN ENDED. CAPPED ICOS ARE SCAMS UNLESS THEY WERE OPEN FOR A PERIOD LONG ENOUGH FOR PERSONS TO HAVE A REAL CHANCE AT DISCOVERING AND HAD FAIR OPPORTUNITY TO INVEST.

If you are a supporter of any REAL projects as defined by the criteria in the OP it is your projects interest to keep discussion going in this thread to draw attention away from most of the fake projects around here and assist people finding the real projects that actually do give them some tangible value for their investment.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Bounty Campaigns Is Profitable?
« on: August 23, 2018, 11:03:55 AM »
Bounty campaigns is profitable? Yes because it give us a chance to earn money like doing a job. Also a chance to become a successful earner someday. It is profitable because we give our efforts and time to finish it, and will pay our efforts for that bounty. Getting our bounty rewards is the happiest moments in our life in bounty, We know that we deserve it, and i'm happy for that. To prevent losing this efforts, beware in the bounty campaign that doesn't pay back, always check the whole bounty campaign before applying.

That is my opinion, what is yours?
Yes of course, bounty campaign is profitable. You can find more bounties online, there are much many bounties available, just make sure to choose the good bounty.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: is it now time to buy altcoins?
« on: August 23, 2018, 11:02:24 AM »
looking at the unstable market, I hesitate to buy altcoins, which I am afraid of, if I buy now, I can lose, in the opinion of all friends, is it now worth buying altcoins?
I think so, since we see a market down price, it is a good trend to buy and earn more tokens.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Can we blame bounty hunters
« on: August 23, 2018, 10:59:57 AM »
Do u blame the bounty manager when a project turns out to be scam

Absolutely not, the bounty manager is not involve to this matter, the only person we blame is the team composition for the project that turns out to be a scam.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Are you having fun with altcoins?
« on: August 23, 2018, 10:57:26 AM »
Guys are you happy with your altcoin holdings?

Yes indeed. Especially when I see a good growth price of my altcoin holdings.

42
it gets dangerous sometimes to keep some coins for long. they end up as shit coins

I am planning to hold it for almost another five years. We can see the potential of the coin not by holding just in a year, but for more than five years.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Be contented with what you have
« on: August 20, 2018, 09:40:44 AM »
Slow and steady they say wins the race. Do not be in a haste to make it big in the crypto world. There is never a shortcut to success. Be contented with whatever you gain at every point in time.
Do not look down on yourself because you see others make it big. A drop of water makes a mighty ocean.
Your gain might seem to be small today.
Your portfolio might not look so big.
Just in a moment and with little more patience, your portfolio will see the brightest light and be filled above your imaginations.

I am agreeing to this. There is a certain fact that when we meet the limit, we must aim more, which is a bad idea. Set your limit, never increase your limit with not sure situation.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Memories with Bitcoin
« on: August 20, 2018, 09:39:34 AM »
Since I started bitcoin many people are insulting my work on the grounds that crypto has no future even profit from it. I feel what it feels like for the first time to be banned from doing a job by my parents because of my bitcoin activity every day, they do not believe that a discussion can make money. I do not give up so easily with circumstances that do not support me doing activities with bitcoin and I believe that what I do with bitcoin can make happiness in the future. The more I am blamed the more optimistically to prove to them that what I do with bitcoin can produce something. The peak is at the end of 2017 where bitcoin reaches its highest price, from the pumping I get the benefit of holding some bitcoin. The people who once scolded me turned into wanting to follow the activities I did because they saw I could buy something they could not buy. The purchase I made from the bitcoin activity along with me has been proven by me to all the people who have insulted me. I do not intend to take revenge against them even I have good intentions to invite them to achieve mutual success.

I had doubt in bitcoin in the mid 2016 and the price of that time in bitcoin is still low. And right now, I am being raced by my doubt, but I have to move on.

I believe prayer and effort are two things we need to cultivate to achieve success.

How do you think this can make all believers switch to using bitcoin? Whether success can we get without a process?

If you could spend your crypto on anything right now, would you spend it?
Yes
No
I don't know

Yes of course, if the coin that I prefer exceeds to my expected price. Surely I would like to exchange it immediately.
