As far as I'm concerned,gambling and it addiction depend on it users,there are people who gamble,but do not abuse it,When we abuse gamble,we do different things that we aren't supposed to do all in the name of gambling,like take loan because of gamble,or selling your important valuables and properties all in the name of gamble,this happens when we do not reason well,and we allow our emotions control us.
For those persons who think gambling has done more harm than good,we can also say gambling has helped alot of people get the life they wouldn't have gotten ordinarily,but while gambling,things changed for them,and they ended up being financially bouyant.

Gambling takes more out of people's lives than it gives. A gambler may find pleasure temporarily but at some point in life he will have nothing but misery. Your misery will always be there in life unless you can stop yourself from gambling.

Yes, gambling is a very serious addiction that completely destroys the life of a gambling addict. I can tell from some of my local gambling addicts who once had a very good source of income and a very good family but suddenly they become addicted to gambling which destroys their own lives as well as their family ties. Some people participate in gambling for temporary pleasure and all those who get temporary pleasure are found to be addicted to gambling later on so it is better to avoid gambling at all times. Gambling should be limited to at least once a week or three to four times a month. Also gambling has to set a certain budget and should never play above the set budget.

I agree with you on this,that gambling should have a set budget,many people don't always abide by this budget or rule including me.Everytime I have decided within myself that I will not play above my budget,another spirit will still trigger me to play more than I've budgeted,and that is what destroys me completely.The moment you want to play more,before you know,you will find yourself spending more than you expected,and this is how addiction starts. It is better to try as much as you could,to lock up your mind in other to avoid gambling,else,your life will be in danger of being destroyed through gambling.

To avoid conflict, it is better to tell your husband that you gamble because sooner or later he will know that you are into that activity and that might be the start that your family being broken as you keep secrets. I saw a lot of woman who gamble here in our place and there's no problem with that because they have the blessings of their husbands and also they gamble together.

Nothing can be kept secret forever, just remember that.

You are right,as long as both of you are legally married,there is nothing you will hide from him and he will not know.Even a cheating wife will try to cover and hide her act,but as long as your husband is staying with you,one day,he will eventually know,and it will cause alot of problem.I don't like women that gamble because they are supposed to be the one who keeps the family,and protect the riches of the man,but Instead,she is the one who goes about gambling and waisting the husband's money.The only case where I can say the woman will gamble and it won't bring problem is when the woman is the bread winner of the house,in that case,whatever money she wastes on gambling won't be from the husband,and whether the husband know,I don't think there will be anything he can do about it.

It is not easy to make money,those who already have something doing which is fetching them money, don't allow people who haven't gotten to get because of greed.Everybody loves to enjoy,and wants a good life for themselves,but some persons are quite unfortunate because of their background.These days,it is quite bad that same things that gives us enjoyment and fun,is thesame thing that's capable of killing us.There is no fun or enjoyment anymore.The life is so rough and complicated.
