Crypto Wallets / Re: coinbase Smart Wallet
« on: June 06, 2024, 07:58:41 PM »
Coinbase launches a new wallet, it describes as A New Era in Crypto Wallets, which can be identified from the quote below.
So they are using Passkeys and I don't know how the gas fees will be lower or the transfers will be cheaper.
So a time has come when they start calling seed phrases traditional haha, I mean it came a little early I thought maybe people would be amazed for the next 10 years to hear they can store there whole generational wealth in 12 or 24 words. Well, if it's traditional then how can these passkeys be so advanced? AFAIK passkey can be anything like 2FA, fingerprint, etc., etc. Or they have something else in their minds.

Supporting only 8 and excluding BTC is a bit odd I think they promoting Base haha, As $15k giveaway for devs to cover the fee only on Base is a bit unfair for other 7 networks. Even if they don't give any importance to it (hehe). Overall, its a great move to advertise such product, but I would still want to stick with 12 seed phrases as traditional is good at the moment. Being too advance sometimes necessary. And for me, this wallet maybe of not or lesser usage.

AI is not a random number generator. Their outputs are so deterministic that you would actually be safer using an insecure Mersene Twister pseudo RNG for generating the mnemonic words than some robot. Not to mention the fact that other people can see what you generate and so your funds will instantly be wiped out.

Seriously, don't do it.
What do you mean by other people can see what I generate, are you talking about my history as if I ask something they create a history of it, if that's what then I can delete it. what if I make my own AI bot, but to design an AI bot we need models and we can't really design one easily, so mostly we use pre-built ones? I am not using the AI bots that use pre-built open source, free models I use the AI bots like of Microsoft, Google, GPTs, etc. For extraction purposes, I use mostly Gemini (google's) or Copilot of Microsift Edge.

While I understand your concern that you want to save some time and the hassle of writing for yourself the seed phrases, I fully agree that what you are doing may not really be safe. So the best thing to do is to do it manually, unless there is a proven fast and fast alternative to do so. As always better be safe than sorry.
From your words I can say you have experience of joining airdrops, because till your post none of the posts did not mentioned they have to download specific wallets for each airdrop, as I already shared before with someone that I have more than 50 wallets till now. BTW, if you have any experience can you tell us what to do if our Discord attached with Galxe is now fully occupied and we can't join any more groups now (I know we can buy it but I don't want to).

Personally, I do not think that it is safe, as long as the artificial intelligence writes the seed, it can definitely access it through the records, because it is certain that all the data is kept in the background.

The artificial intelligence database can be hacked by some malicious programs, and these programs can also hunt for texts copied into memory, so it would be very dangerous to use this method.

But if, as you say, the airdrops are fake or trivial, I do not think that it would be a big risk since it is not of great importance.
That's right I don't think the owners of these AI bots I am using are going to use my seed phrases for their own good, I think hackers might get access to these databases where they are keeping the data of the user. I think in order to save my funds, I should seek an AI tool that only saves data on my site, maybe in the logs, and not saving data on their own databases but I doubt there would be any tool because AI tools must need a data model.

Obviously a lot if you need AI help ;)

I don't know what people will want from AI anymore, but I believe that in a few years the world will be a very strange place where people will communicate less and less with each other, and more and more with AI.

Recently a video of people working on AI went viral when they finally upgraded their AI to literally talk to you in real time - and when Mr.Mars releases his chips for general use then we'll have AI literally in our head so OP will just be able to look at his seed and it will be automatically saved...somewhere...
Saving words in your head via AI is still considered risky if using an AI bot is risky. Involvement of AI makes things risky. That's what most of the members are saying, I read somewhere that Elon said, that in recent times everyone in the developed (I added the world developed he did not say it) countries will have AI bots in there home (No *ex dolls but maybe simple AI companion bots).

The world is really going to change in recent times, AI and Graphics technologies are making great progress.

Its high time we begin to realized that the use of AI could not be applicable in every aspect of cryptocurrency for our own personal safety and privacy, because these bits we are considering were being developed by people, if we subscribe to anyone, we don't know if they have privacy term bridge that could lead to exposing anything from our information later in future, except if we are only developing one for the use of our own self.
You are right we should not use AI tools as they store out data and can even access it what if they say they can't access it, what if they don't even store our data, what if what we ask them is stored on our end I think that's more risky.

I think each airdrop hunter only needs to spend a few minutes to create an account and save the private key to use for dozens of airdrops in the future. I do not participate in airdrops using multi-accounts,
I also don't join airdrops using multi-accounts, actually, I had one account first, I only joined all airdrops from it as we know, we need galxe in order to join most of the airdrops, and we can only attach 1 discord to galxe and we can only join 100 groups in the free version of discord. And once the discord was full (which until it says full I did not know about). So, I made another account and started to join all the discord-related airdrops from that account, and the airdrops that don't require discord I joined it from the 1st account.

I hope this does not fall into farming. Overall is it allowed to talk about farming on this forum? As from the POV of platforms, they don't like it even if they get benefits out of it, they don't like it because the rewards are not going to the real hustlers. I hope my way doesn't fall into farming.

How many wallets do you actually generate each day so this would be that time-consuming?
I have around 54 wallets, I already told MrSpasybo about the situation I am in, as I have two accounts one have discord full so can't join airdrops including discord tasks and one is not full yet so I join discord related tasks from that account. I can't change the discord on Galxe as well. And I doubt if the second discord will be full then I have to create 3rd account for joining new airdrops.

And the number of wallets will increase. To get full context of what I am saying you can read the reply I made to MrSpasybo above. Overall, to save time I do anything haha, I know these wallets don't have any funds in them maybe little pennies about which I don't care.

Never share your seed with AI. Nobody knows how they work, and they might share with other person by accident  (like using your seed as example or whatever
Till now I have downloaded 50+ wallets and sometimes I have to recover them while I am not in the house, in such situation I can't carry the notebook (where I wrote them) with me, even if I carry it I consider it risking my seed phrases. It won't be a problem only if I encrypt them which I already did to my main wallet and wrote it on the paper. But as we all know paper is vulnerable to disasters but that's another thing.

Speaking of them sharing it with another person, that's not a thing, for example you can convince an AI Bot (GPT) that 2+2 is 5 but if another people ask GPT what's 2+2 it will say 4. As GPT only give answers on the basis of what you are asking and it checks your preferences and your behaviour to give you a satisfactory answer.

You don't need AI to obtain the text from screenshot. Windows built in application called "Snipping Tool" can do that for you. Check this guide, https://allthings.how/how-to-copy-text-from-an-image-using-snipping-tool-on-windows-11/.
I don't use Windows 11 but my system supports it, I might upgrade my Windows in the coming days, as I am currently doing some work which is why I can't update it. BTW thanks for adding this to my knowledge as I did not know this before. Overall, Windows 11 must have a lot of other features as well, I guess I should give a try to learn about them in my spare time.

Well, yeah, it's late already. But we have another 20 days in our hands and the most important thing is, that the investment is reclaimable. You can unstack your money again depending on which apps are you using. I joined District one back in march 2024, but I haven't been claiming Gems because I did not understand how it works. But then I discovered that there are multiple platforms from where I can accumulate gold and blast points.
You are right, one thing I have learned so far is we are never late in joining airdrop, I read the below reply as well, and if we could really have to pay the transaction fee (gas) and don't have to pay a lot and can make 100 gold then it's a good deal. As far as I know, 1 gold might be equals to $30. I saw an assessment video made by a pro airdrop hunter. I won't say it is guaranteed he and my hopes my be wrong. But if that's right then 100 gold is more than enough.

Can you share how can I reach to that target, I mean is there any tutorial video, I won't say I will join it, but first I will give it a observation, as I still think we are late, I have no activity on Blast network till now and if I would start to join now they might consider me a bot.

Well, unfortunately, I am unable to post referral links on this board. But, I still think the people who visit this section want to participate in free airdrops. How about discussing the latest airdrops coming on the market so we all can participate in it?

As we know, the bull run is ahead and there are a lot of airdrop opportunities at this moment. The hot chain is Blast and Base in this bull run. There are a couple of platforms where you can farm Blast points and Gold at this moment. The blast network TGE at the end of June. So, we have only one month. Head over to blast.io and check the dapps. Districtone and Thruster finance are the easiest way to farm points and gold at this moment.

Note: I will use this thread to update about the latest updates!
Don't you think joining Blast at the moment is a bit late, as Blast has been there from like since November 2023, till then many other projects also partnered with it, it is launched by Blur founder. It's not like if we did not participate in this project at that time we can't join now, I know we can still join it but its a bit late I mean, many users are accumulating gold for a long time and one thing I have observed till now is when a airdrops gets too much hype and users it don't give much profit.

Besides we are late now, as it only 30 days left now, what do you think should we sill give it a try, speaking of the base, its really expensive I mean we have to mint a lot of NFTs which keep coming, and recently there was an airdrop in which hey says they are giving away 1000$ to those who invested some X money into these NFTs I don't remember the exact number now but not so many people have availed that opportunity because they did not spend that much money yet.

Besides Minitng these NFTs on Base is there any other way to get the airdrop, I have good volume on Base BTW.  PS: I know about this section case but still posting my POV as thread should be active amid the case.

I'll go first. I've been in crypto for two years now. And I've learnt that it's not a get rich quick scheme. Using that mindset you'll burnout within a short while... How about you??
You are saying if we have a mindset of assuming crypto as get quick rich scheme will make us burn out or otherwise? I actually did not get this part. I have also been involved in crypto since 2021 I guess, before that I spent time on virtual online mining in 2018 with no knowledge of crypto especially of blockchain technology. If I had had some knowledge then I would not have wasted my time on these useless sites which were nothing but a waste of time and resources. As I got nothing from them.

And in 2021 I got to know about the BTT forum and then my journey in crypto started. And here I am, I learned a lot of things about BTC, Alts, Blockchain, NFTs, Metaverse, Liquidity, investments mindset, How to manage risk, trading, and how to write, I even started my career as a content write just because I was writing bounty article back on BTT and now I am an SEO content writer as a freelancer. I am glad to be a crypto users, it opens many gateways all you have to do is not think of it quick rich scheme only if you invested in a coin like meme and it gave you 100x but if you invested only 10 or 100 dollars then even if 100x you are not going to be rich.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Any advice for a newbie?
« on: June 03, 2024, 05:30:03 PM »
I'm still a little new to this so just thought to ask here, how familiar are you folks with pre-market offers? I've seen a new token I'd like to buy but for now it's only available on pre-market basis.
AFAIK I understand its easier for buyers to make trades on pre-market, but this fact also depends on the fact that which pre-market are you using. I have not used any pre-market yet, but I am familiar with some, the one I am talking about is of ByBit. You can read there guide in here As buyers don't have to pledge any funds as collateral while sellers have to and if sellers failed to deliver the funds then the buyer will be compensated from the funds that the sellers have pledged to the trade. That's why I said the buyers have an advantage in pre-market over sellers.

Overall, I would say if you are doing pre-market just to make a profit in the long then don't think of it, as its not even %40 surety if making a profit or not. Most of the coins fall below the rates they are being traded on Pre-market, but some won't it all depends on the potential of the project if it's good then it can outperform the expectations. If you are planning to short then the advice is the same but in the opposite manner. I hope you understand.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Can we use AI bots for seed phrases?
« on: June 03, 2024, 05:19:31 PM »
Currently, Airdrop hunting is at its peak, and everyone is joining them. I also join new and old airdrops regularly. The question here is, when we join new airdrop some of them require us to create a new wallet, and some of the wallets they require is not metamask it is their specific wallet, like some else. And we can't just copy the seed phrases from them we have to write them down manually.

I don't know of any other way to write them down, so what I do is, I take the screenshot and give it to the Edge Copilot and ask him to extract the words from the picture and it extracts the exact same words. Sometimes some wallet's copy system is not good. This means when we click copy seed phrase. It also copies the serial number as 1:Blah 2: Blah.

I don't want these numbers so to save time as in airdrop hunting we need to save time as if we can. I give the 12 or 24 words to the AI bot and ask it to remove these serial numbers and give me the words written side by side. And it do it for me in a matter of seconds.

So the question is,
1.Is it safe to use AI bots to do such things. I mean can they see our 12 phrases. Even if they can see, will they use it. Even if the platform is of Google's, Microsoft, GPTs etc. etc. I mean even if they are worthy enough of our searches,
2.Can hacker could use some types of web scripts that can extract our data from these AI bots.
Out of all the questions,
3.Should I remove the history regularly, and if I don't, can hackers somehow extract the words from the history?

I know its not safe, but I don't really care about these spare wallets which I use for some low quality airdrops. Because the ones which are good, don't require us to use some specific wallet. As we can use any web3 on it. I am still asking if its really possible or really not safe as I am not so sure.

Basic questions about this forum / Re: My Karma Just dropped by 10
« on: June 03, 2024, 05:05:10 PM »

Probably you haven't checked the thread again. The thread has already been moved to the cryptocurrency discussion board. So, there is no offense if anyone writes there.
That's right, now if you give me -1 Karma, should I be upset? admin can give +10 so you got -10.
I understand that admin can give anything if he wants, what this op is trying to say is, why not just a warning, like for the first time, I don't know really if he made this mistake before but to my knowledge this is his first time and he is really a good and sophisticated poster. I did not see such punishment by Admin in my time here and this is also OP's first experience. You are an old member and you can shed some light if Admin gave this punishment to anyone else besides the ones who lost all of there karmas due to phishing it or exchanging it and maybe due to plagiarism.

Well, you are right about the fact that OP can get more than 10 why make a fuss out of it? I think he also gets frustrated like admin. I hope the admin will make an explanation of such punishments so we can save ourselves from making the same mistakes. I mean if we will know this mistakes will cost us this why would we do that. Overall its totally admins decision and his forum.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Stay away from crypto ponzis!
« on: June 02, 2024, 02:56:43 PM »
10 years ago Ponzi schemes were very popular with many people, when the price of Bitcoin was still very cheap, many people participated in Ponzi, but now Ponzi is unhealthy, everything has the risk of ending in a scam. I have never followed a Ponzi again when the price of Bitcoin could reach this high price. The last time I followed a Ponzi was in 2014 and there were still many Ponzi schemes circulating that year.
Are you mistaking Ponzi for something else? Op meant to say, that Ponzi schemes are like phishing ones, they are too good to be true as they offer high returns with no or less amount (near to negligible). These types of offers convince a person to give it a try and thus they fall for it because Ponzi schemes are meant to be scam offers that are not real.

So how can you say Now ponzi is unhealthy I mean when it was healthy? If 10 years ago it was very popular does it mean Ponzi schemes were also real and they give people money they promised them? And what do you mean by the relation of BTC's high price with ponzi, as only in this time such schemes are coming in hot while in bear they are not? Besides that your words don't make logic. Please explain.

It is not possible to be accurate in analyzing which project is good or bad, most people lose when they invest in altcoins because they buy a scam project or one that does not have any future. If people could 'easily' analyze the market and separate the good projects from the bad ones, everyone will likely be making money.
That's 100% correct that if everybody would be investing in good projects they would all be making money right now, but that's also not impossible for all to make money, they all can make money but they can't due to there different nature of investment mindset. Some take small risks and some take big ones. Diversity of this world makes every individual different from each other and thus their way of thinking as well.

It's not hard to find a good and scam project, a little understanding of certik, partners investors to look for and the team background only will give you the idea that either it will be a scam or not. I think distinguishing between a good and scam one is not a big deal nowadays. The main problem, is even if you differentiate between them successfully it does not mean you are going to make profit. I hope you understand my point here.

All these is not enough for you to come to a conclusion that a project is good and is going to be successful.
You are right, that's why I said for example and etc. etc. because there are many other factors on the check list as well. But these are only few that a normal person can comprehend.

Crypto Wallets / Re: Are you using Hardware Wallets?
« on: June 02, 2024, 09:07:34 AM »
Yeah but not more than any other wallet, as a seed is a seed and as long as you own it, your funds shouldn't be lost even if you break or lose your hardware wallet.
You are right we can recover our funds if we have those 12 or 24 words, but I was saying its a little hard to manage the hardware wallet, I mean if it breaks or its LCD is damaged as I have seen a lot of hardware wallet's complaints that after not using them for a long time their LCDs are not showing anything at all. And repairing the LCD from a person who might know about cryptocurrency is a risk to your assets.

And the money spent on that hardware wallet will be wasted as well. So that's why I passed the HW besides its hard to get them in this country as it charges us more than usual customers as it's not local we have to pay huge taxes on it. Overall for those who can easily get it and manages it should buy it because its the best choice there but choosing the right one is also a problem as many are centralized and many are not but they are either closed source. So its not that hard to find one.

PS: I know replying late, I missed it.
