There is a upcoming fight between Loma and Kambosos,

Quote
Vasiliy Lomachenko and George Kambosos Jr. will fight a little later than anticipated, but their lightweight championship clash will still take place in Kambosos’ home country of Australia.

https://www.boxingscene.com/vasiliy-lomachenko-george-kambosos-deal-done-512-perth-moloneys-on-undercard--180712

This fight is supposed to happen before, but it's good to see that finally they are going to fight and will go for the IBF 135 lbs.

Who do you think will win this fight?

I have Loma winning in a unanimous decision here.

why do it have to be in IBF, there's WBO which the champ is also vacant. loma is getting old though, its a risky bet to root for him.  5 years ago would have been a better loma but now its like of a 50/50 chance.

he can last the 12 rounds that for sure but so is kambosos. loma can absorb kambosos' punch without prob. so this fight can play out like stealing rounds every time there just 10 seconds left.

I assumed it's not financially wise for Loma to fight for the WBO belt, who is the WBO number 2? Denys Berinchyk? We haven't heard of this fighter before. But with the IBF, it's Kambosos their number 2 and then Loma number 3.

Besides it's all money for Top Rank, and so it make sense for them to go with this fight and I think IBF is fine with it obviously. Perhaps if Loma will win this fight, he can go after the WBO belt. But for now, financial and business wise, it make sense for this two to go for the IBF belt first.

The same thing applies to Green. Honestly, I don't understand why the Warriors signed him to a $100 million contract last offseason.
That was a weird move indeed. Maybe it's the best way they could think of to payback what Draymond had done to them in the past. I still think that's a bad decision because he was clearly beyond his prime years and the incidents he's been involved with (Poole). Giving him that contract also limited their opportunities to sign new players.

Yeah, we forgot about Draymond's case as well, he did comeback to the Warriors to play but they lost to Memphis.

And so Warriors are very desperate right now and I think everyone is on the trade block except maybe Curry. Andrew Wiggins name always pop up for a trade with Siakam, but the Pacers was able to get Pascal now, so that trade is not obviously going to happen.

But eventually before the trade deadline next month, we might see some movements in the Warriors and try to salvage their season with acquisitions and trading their players that didn't help and might not to find a new home.

Basic Questions about Cryptos / Re: Crypto pump groups?
« on: January 18, 2024, 09:56:20 PM »
What are the best rely on pump signals groups out there, i need just for one specifically and that is for Binance exchange? Thank you in advance.
Are you asking about reliable pump signal groups, is that what you mean by "rely" if yes then let me sure you that there is not a single group that is hundred percent reliable in terms of signals, most of the groups have different win ratio it all depends on the knowledge of the person handling that group. If you are interested in joining such groups where they only share the signals of trades that can be made on Binance.

Then I doubt you will find any, because in most of the cases, these groups provide future trades, which are not advise-able, and even if they provide spot signals, then they might be of another exchanges too, so you have to narrow down coins that are listed on Binance so you could trade in them.

Yes, early 2018, I had a little experiment with this kind of P&D groups, join them and see how things operate. And as we have suspected, in the beginning they will give a signal as to what coins to pump and when to dump it.

Never made any money though, only those who are the admin or in the top of groups made significant money as they are the first ones to sell everything as everyone is still sleeping. And when they give the signal, it's over, only little money left for those members below.

Study the platform where you are going to buy i suggest buy at exchange and avoid IEO ,IDO . Check the team background and partners . Make sure you study the project the research is also important so invest small amount and don't invest al of your money .

It's very difficult to really assessed the project itself, sometimes even the team looks solid, but after a few months they all gone and exit scam. That's why in the beginning, if we are going to invest then assume that it can literally go to zero as there are risk involved here.

Maybe you can start small, yes, but the profit margin is also going to be small.

So for me, I'm not going to take that risk, I will rather go with solid projects already. It might be better this way, at least you can sleep better at night and not thinking that the project will not run away with your money.

Warriors with Klay and Steph losing to an underhanded Grizzlies is just so bad. No Marcus Smart, Ja Morant, Steven Adams and they still could not get the job done.

I smell some changes in this team before the trade deadline. The 3 players that are rumored to be moved are Moody, Kuminga, and Wiggins. I think they should keep at least two of them for the club's future.

Klay was on the court longer than any other Warriors player in this game, but he only scored 9 points and was the most useless, considering his PM was -22. By the way, Wiggins and Kuminga were one of the players who tried to help Curry in this game. So, if I were the Warriors management, I wouldn't be in a hurry to trade those two guys.
Yeah that's so bad. I read that negotiation for Klay's contract extension has stalled last month and I don't know if the management is still interested to keep him with the way he's playing now. The sooner they break the core that they gave the franchise multiple championships, the better it is for the team.

That is the big question, and as per Klay's performance, if I'm the Warrior head, it's hard to give him that max contract that he is asking. He needs to show more in this season.

And as we have seen, they are struggling and it compound with another bad news about their assistant coach having a heart attack and die,

Quote
Golden State Warriors assistant coach Dejan Milojević died Wednesday after sustaining a heart attack while at a private team dinner in Salt Lake City Tuesday, the Warriors said.

He was 46 years old.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: BTC halving event - What can we expect?
« on: January 17, 2024, 11:50:47 PM »
In fact, one of the things we most hope for from this Bitcoin halving event is of course a bullish era. Where usually the bullish era of cryptocurrency begins to occur after the Bitcoin halving event. Well, in this era it has something to do with price increases which may be the target for most of us to take profit after a certain period of investment. as well as the hope that prices will exceed the previous Ath on certain coins. It's as simple as that, actually one of the things why we think about and wait for the Bitcoin halving.

Yes, and per history, bitcoin block halving is the catalyst for a bull run, and so this year, we are expecting that around May, we might see some good movement, it's not a parabolic rise, but at least there are semblace that we are entering a bull run already and so the price could hit $50k or more this year. Or if the market is very bullish, we could touch our previous all time high.

And that is why everyone is very excited for this year, time for us to make money, after two years of bearish trend, now it's that time of the year again wherein everyone is very positive to look for a profit.

So expect that this year and 2025 will be bullish and we might see new ATH at $100k mininum.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Bitcoin price changes in the new year.
« on: January 17, 2024, 11:30:42 PM »
In late 2023, the price of Bitcoin touched 44, but only in January of 2024, the price of Bitcoin reached its highest point. Up to $48,969 on January 1st, here we see a huge change as 2024 is the Bitcoin halving. According to the opinion of experts on this day, the price of Bitcoin will hit the maximum level, and some people mentioned that the price of Bitcoin will definitely exceed 1.20 hundred thousand dollars. Right now there are a lot of investors who have invested a lot of money in Bitcoin.

We just have a minor drawback though, after the approval of Bitcoin Spot ETF has been released, the price suddenly goes to $42k-$43k and we have speculated that there could be manipulation behind this price movement.

Regardless though, we still have the block halving coming up in April, the catalyst for a bull run. So we will have to wait for it to happen and then gradually see some good movement and perhaps we will exceed $50k this year and reach at least our least previous all time high of $69k and then next year, that 6 digits that we all have been waiting for.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Invest & Hodl Bitcoin!!
« on: January 17, 2024, 11:07:11 PM »
Investing in and holding Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies is a very important and very right move. However, the main point is to invest in assets with a fixed supply. Therefore, gold and silver can also be included in this understanding, and from this logic, we can include Bitcoin and some major altcoins among commodities like gold and silver. Investing in Bitcoin and being a long-term investor will always win against inflationary fiat currencies.

If we are talking about diversifying our portfolio, definitely, having gold and other precious metals or even stocks and bonds are good to go for investors. But in crypto, Bitcoin and then maybe some solid altcoins in our wallet, so at least portfolio will look like 60%-70% BTC and then the rest for altcoins.

And definitely, if we HODL should be long term, at least one cycle might do or start to accumulate in the bear market and then sell them if necessary in the bull run to maximized our profits.

« on: January 17, 2024, 10:46:00 PM »
Which altcoin is down? Try to be more informative when you open a topic. ???

Yes, but if you look at the majority of them, maybe the OP see that they are down like -80% still from their all time high. And it's understandable, every altcoin is based on bitcoin and bitcoin hasn't move that much after the ETF approval.

And on the other hand, if your favorite altcoin is down, then it's good to invest on them as they are cheap and then just hold on it till the next bull run, a simply formula to make more money in altcoin market. Just solid altcoin though, not meme or those pump and dump shitcoins.

« on: January 15, 2024, 11:17:49 PM »
I disagree with you because I have not heard any bad News about the cryptocurrency ecosystem and all the news I have heard in this year is good. The first news I heard that made me excited was the one Nigeria accept to use cryptocurrency in the country and the second is SEC approved Bitcoin ETF. And these some of the good news so far so if you have any bad News about cryptocurrency in this year please provide the names of the countries and if possible the source of the story for people to check out to confirm.
Well in my country there in neither acceptance nor denying policy is applied from the government but many are saying we will see a positive go to from government soon and some time there are rumors that government is going to ban it. mix reactions here too.

So it's really depend on some government on how they will treat crypto in general. But from what we have seen, oppressive or authoritative government doesn't want to give freedom to their people. And we all know that crypto provides that to us, and so obviously they will opposed to it at all cost.

But there are more countries though that is open to it, maybe in the middle or gray area, but still they don't give crypto a bad name and they allow their population to sort of experience and so that might be your government stance for now and hopefully they will be openly accept it in the future.

Philippines (Tagalog) / Re: Short-term trading or Long term trading?
« on: January 15, 2024, 10:33:55 PM »
Ano mas gusto nyo paps? short-term(day-trading) or long-term(holding)? saken ay long-term trading kase may mababa ang risk kesa sa short-term. May alam kaba dito paps? feel free to share :)
Actually gusto ko sila pareho though mas risky yung day trading but if offers higher rewards compared to hodling. Ang hodling naman for me is much safer kumpara sa day trading dahil iiwan mo lang ito sa wallet mo for a long time.

Yes, I think kaya siguro gusto ng majority and HODLing kasi nga less risk compared to daily trading.

^^ Fight is over, the corner of Callum Smith stop the fight are round 7, because their boxer is taking too much punishment from Beterbiev. And with this one it cemented Arthur's status as one of the best LHW in the division.

But he has another one to beat and that is Dmitri Bivol who has a belt as well. In the post fight interview, he said that he wanted to fight Bivol for unification. So it's good thing that we hear it from him. But still depends on how their respective managers are going to negotiate. Nevertheless we do hope that this can happen this year.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Why is bitcoin stability important?
« on: January 14, 2024, 04:40:42 AM »
I think that Bitcoin stability is very important to attract new investors. People need to be sure in their investments. High volatility is definitely not the best feature to assure people in the right choice of investment. Stability can help you to avoid big losses but it also can't give you a big profit.
Is bitcoin volatility not attracting new investors enough? If bitcoin has a stable price, do you think you and I would love to invest in bitcoin without having profits in mind?

The volatility of bitcoin is a plus bonus for us as crypto investors, because we ought gain from it financially like when the price of bitcoin decreases, we bought at low price, hodl and sell at a high price

Exactly, as much as we hate the volatility, it should be considered as not a deterrent to the market. It's part of it, as it is open 24x7, everyone is free to trade and so with that huge volume, we really don't know what the price will be.

That's why most of us do DCA or invest in whichever way we can. Maybe we can buy in bulk or weekly, but the end results will be the same. Be a holder and just sell and take profits when necessary and dont' look at volatility as something that is regarded with fear or apprehension. We should look at it in a positive way.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Bitcoin Dump Signifcant After Halving
« on: January 14, 2024, 04:08:16 AM »
As per my experienced, the effect of the halving will not be immediately felt. Meaning, it will take weeks or months for the price to move on and then start that parabolic rise. Although we also have to understand that there could be factors that might stall the price for sometime.

But the thing is that once it got it running, it's going to be very hard to stop as the bulls are obviously taking over the market.

So if there is a dump then you shouldn't be nervous or something, it's just that the market is making a correction before we can move forward and reach new all time high again.
