Bitcoin Forum / Re: Don't buy bitcoin only because of FOMO
« on: March 12, 2024, 02:33:04 PM »
Agree. We don't buy because of FOMO. We must buy because we have a strong reason.
True, we must do deep research before we buy Bitcoin. Make sure we buy Bitcoin at the right time, don't buy when it already reaches the next ATH. For the options of crypto coins, just buy Bitcoin if you are not sure with other crypto coins. It is not a must to have as many as coins, have the best coin only.
The problem is that most buy out of fear (of missing out on profits). + Most don't count on, their actual finances. Always said it and will keep saying it. It's better to observe from the outside + learn from other people's mistakes. Rather than entering the market on your own, getting greedy all the time, etc. Be smarter, don't make the mistakes most people make. Analyze + look at the % of your deposit and make decisions from there.

A moment about Fomo: Fear and greed indices of traditional and crypto market. Extreme Greed VS Extreme Greed

Most people only see FOMo and don't do good research before investing which makes them suffer losses. If you are not sure about a new project and haven't had time to do research, you should buy a coin that is clearly safe in the top 10 coins. I think that's a good choice.

Elon Musk said he will make X a social media and payment gateway that will do better than PayPal. From the look of things, it seems that his idea will not come live any time soon, and if it does, he will definitely integrate not only one or two cryptocurrency because there are already billions of users on X who come from different parts of the world, and different individuals have their own preferences for payment or crypto that they want to use, so he will integrate many coins and still other payment methods that will also be easy for users.
I can't wait to see the project that is being developed by Elon Musk. I am sure that with this method there will be many transactions that will probably be easy for many people to use. So far, Paypal users are still very limited, therefore when X starts developing a project like this, my hope is can be used by everyone easily.

Hopefully the project developed by Elon Musk has the potential to be very good, although my prediction is that it will only experience hype and after that it will experience decline. because it is not easy to maintain a project so that it is always stable in its position, unless the project is really good.

Solana Forum / Re: is solana truly an ethereum killer?
« on: March 12, 2024, 02:28:01 PM »
It's the same as what happened during the last block halving. The only reason altcoins are surging is because of future events, as I mentioned before.
For me, we will see what the price of Bitcoin will be this year, not next year because next year should be an altcoin season based on history and price, that's my prediction, same as before when people invested first in Bitcoin, you will notice that if bitcoin becomes bearish, the altcoin will become bullish because they are moving their holdings to altcoin. That's just my theory.
Very good analysis, but if you look at previous altcoin price movements, if Bitcoin collapses then the altcoin price will also fall to a very deep price. For next year, it is everyone's hope that many altcoins will rise and become expensive, but no one can provide a guarantee for This can be done well because I believe the influence of the Bitcoin price collapse is still very strong.

As we know, if the price of Bitcoin collapses, the price of altcoins will also experience a decline. so we should monitor the market and see the movement of both bitcoin and altcoin prices. In my opinion, when the price of bitcoin rises, the price of altcoins will also rise, we will wait after the bitcoin halving.

It is natural that Bitcoin is made a priority of all digital currencies in circulation because the main coin from Cryptocurrency that was first created was Bitcoin and many places are starting to accept payments using Bitcoin. The very limited supply also has an important influence on investors who prefer Bitcoin over anything else.

You are right bitcoin is a priority for investors, because they think bitcoin is the safest coin to store. but in my opinion ethereum is also a safe coin to hold, so we should be able to diversify it into several potential coins when investing, such as bitcoin, ethereum, BNB and Solana.

Basic Questions about Cryptos / Re: Invest or bounty?
« on: March 12, 2024, 02:12:40 PM »

Or much better to participate in bounty campaigns if ever you that you are ever having a hard time looking for a Signature campaign that pays in BTC on a weekly basis and not to completely avoid it. There have been a lot of people doing that and if ever there's any slots open, they can just apply anytime they want. This way, they can still be part of bounty campaigns which they think is good to participate in while waiting for any openings.

The BTC pait signature campaign is very valuable and really delivers every week. if there is an empty slot they scramble to join. Because many signature campaigns were worthless before, we were tired of following them but it turned out the coins were worthless.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: BTC halving event - What can we expect?
« on: March 12, 2024, 02:06:52 PM »
During Bitcoin's halving season, we see Bitcoin's price drop from its normal value to almost half from dumping. We see this halving every year around April. If the halving is completely in April then we are very close to the halving because it is March and the next month is April and this is usually the month of Bitcoin halving.

Other years see the market dumping from the beginning of the new year but this year we are seeing something different in that I expect Bitcoin price to touch new records instead of Bitcoin halving this year. In less than a month it doesn't look like bitcoin price will halve but looking at the market movement it looks like the market will go up.

Bitcoin halving is not a halving of the price, but a halving of rewards from bitcoin miners. With limited supply while demand will be high at that time, the price of bitcoin will be high. but it is certain that there are some corrections.

good to hear that mate because I must admit that I am stupid in trading , have done couple of times before but gain nothing but failure so I would rather HODL or  Buy Low Sell high instead.
and also I am now trying staking in which for me is more safer than anything about passive income.

If you don't have the skills and experience as a trader, you should choose hold as a way to invest in cryptocurrencies. Because investing in crypto is not only as a trader, you can choose to be a holder, participate in airdrops, join bounty campaigns, etc.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Is Bitcoin legal?
« on: March 12, 2024, 02:00:44 PM »

The legality of using BTC depends on those who are familiar with Bitcoin transaction methods and will accept Bitcoin as a legal digital currency. However, for those who don't understand and are afraid of the risk of unstable Bitcoin price movements, of course they won't say Bitcoin is not valid for use as payment.

Yes, if they don't understand that Bitcoin can be used as a payment method, they will doubt it, including some governments in several countries. This is normal because they still consider the good and bad if allowed.

Gambling discussion / Re: Don't Borrow Money To Gambling.
« on: March 11, 2024, 11:17:16 AM »

Following those steps can be challenging and that is why I have always advocated that the first step is for the addict to accept that he is addicted and wants to stop gambling addiction. When a gambler has made such a confession, then it can be relatively easier to follow the steps.

it's not easy to make gamblers aware, friends. My friend, even though all his assets have been used up, still doesn't realize that he is now homeless. Because his business was sold out. Before investing, we should have the courage to lose the money we invest, of course it must be cold money, not from loans.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Is Bitcoin Too Expensive For Me?
« on: March 11, 2024, 11:07:38 AM »
Way back on December 2023 when OP posted this, the price of Bitcoin was around $43k and now we're on the $60k price and still counting and moving some more. If that question has been asked by that time and someone obeyed the people that have told them to buy while it's cheap, they're in profit. Yes, it's quite expensive but that expensiveness comes to the idea of you don't have to take that much risk because this is the blue chip of this market.
yups , that is also what i said in my first post here because OP should be buying everytime he wanted to invest and not spending time asking as we are talking about btcoin andnot shitcoin here.
so the opportunity of increasing is always there but lets wait for OP's update to what he did in this investment plans.

If we buy bitcoin, we don't need to doubt whether it will go up or down, but we have to buy when the price is still below, of course during the bearish season. Because by buying when it is bearish we can survive until the bullish season, which is about 3 years. but the results will delight us. Meanwhile, I'm not interested in shitcoins, it's too risky.

Ethereum Forum / Re: The future of Ethereum in 2024?
« on: March 11, 2024, 11:04:14 AM »

Why do you think big investors invest in startups (new coins)? I think because they have much more growth potential than those already in the top 5, the same Solana was worth hundreds of times less than it is now, but someone tried and did analytics and after investing he became ultra rich.

Every investment is high risk, if we succeed in getting good coins and projects we will get huge profits. but there are investors who don't dare to take that big risk. They prefer to invest in bitcoin, ethereum and other top coins

but over time, every experience will be formed, and you will understand everything, it took time for Bitcoin to become famous until now, so we as supporters must always be optimistic that we can become traders and can also be used as a holder to make a profit.
Optimistic about everything that will happen to Bitcoin, who supports Bitcoin from the beginning and holds it until now will surely smile happily with the profits that have been obtained.

Being a trader or long-term holder it will give you profits.
But being a true holder of Bitcoin when the price of bitcoin is very cheap until now will provide huge profits.
There are many millionaires because of Bitcoin and they still own some of it today.

Those who bought bitcoin at the beginning are lucky and are still holding it today, because they made big profits. As a holder and trader it is a profitable avenue to invest in crypto. For those who don't have the skills as a trader, becoming a holder is the best way, because maybe they are too busy working in the real world.

Ethereum Forum / Re: Who is Ethereum's biggest competitor?
« on: March 07, 2024, 07:33:43 AM »
Ethereum's alternatives and competitors. See how Ethereum compares to similar products. Ethereum's top competitors include Solv Protocol, Radix, and Avalanche. Solv Protocol operates as a one-stop platform and a decentralized liquidity infrastructure for creating and trading nonfungible tokens (NFTs).

Well Ethereum biggest competitor is solana. It's a high speed Blockchain platform that has gain a lot of traction in past years. It's offer as a fast transaction speed and low fee, for it to be popular choice of decentralized application and non fungible tokens. Most people believe that the Solana network has a potential of overtaking Ethereum as leading platform for NFTs and dapps.

For now, ethereum's closest competitors are BNB and Solana, but it seems that Solana will overtake BNB and compete closely with ethereum in the next few years. Soalana is very popular nowadays and is widely used as a platform for new projects.

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: HODLing Altcoins
« on: March 07, 2024, 07:17:22 AM »

Imho 4-year-cycles not always work with altcoins. One of the reasons is that they arent as stable as Bitcoin. Projects tend to end, trend tend to change, demand tend to decrease. For example take a look on major altcoins, their ATH and change during 4 last years. While Bitcoin seems to crawl back to ATH and it has almost 1.5 years to show changes during that 4-year-cycle, many of the altcoins seems to be still on the bottom. Many are still in -40-60% loss from their ATH. And when BTC starts correction or bear season starts, altcoins will follow that downtrend. With I am trying to say, that those who are holding altcoins must be very cautious with the choice they make. Because in 4 years, the price you have bought, might not be reached. From holders you might turn into "marrying your altcoins".

like my previous comment, I only recommend buying bitcoin and ethereum, for a 4 year cycle. because ethereum will follow the performance of bitcoin, I did not mention other altcoins. because the safest ones are bitcoin and ethereum to hold for a long period of time,

Meme Coins / Re: Can a meme coin make you rich?
« on: March 07, 2024, 06:20:26 AM »

Everyone also hopes to get rich quickly in investing, as you said we have to choose the right coin and buy at the right time. Memecoins are very risky, although many people in the past made a lot of profit from memecoins, when Dogecoin soared because of Elon Musk.
Investments have very high risks and do not always make you rich straight away. Traders have to go through processes such as holding tokens or coins for years until the price rises to become very expensive and in the end they can get maximum results. Cryptocurrency trading can also cause assets to disappear instantly. You must remain vigilant with the decisions you choose in the world of Cryptocurrency.

I see some dimari members suggesting dogecoin, but I haven't seen any good movement. Will there be support from Elon Musk during the bullish season so that there is confidence that Doge will touch the price of $1. I plan to buy memcoin later this week if bitcoin keeps struggling through the weekend.
