Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Which do you prefer, CEXs or DEXs?
« on: March 10, 2024, 11:44:44 PM »
  • Which do you prefer, CEXs or DEXs, and why?
  • For CEX users: Does KYC concerns impact your choice of CEXs?
  • For DEX users: Do you believe DEXs have the potential to completely replace CEXs in the future?
1. I prefer to use CEX if I consider the comfort and the varied features for trading.
2. Sure. I want to avoid KYC on the CEX but it is impossible. So I just choose the most reputable CEX although I still need to follow KYC there.
3. I don't believe it because most people prefer using CEX. They also can be easier to withdraw to the banks through CEX.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: KYC bad decision?

Providing your personal details for KYC, I think is not safe, because your privacy is no longer protected. So i think we should avoid it...
Of course, it is not safe if follow the KYC procedure in any platform. Sadly, sometimes we can't avoid it, we must do it if we want to use the platform. In Binance, we must also follow the KCY procedure if we want to trade there. Although it is very risky, I still do it because I think Binance is quite trustable. You must know that everyone must expect to trade in the number 1 exchange in the world (Binance).

I think this depends on how the ETF has an impact on Ethereum price movements because you have to remember that the total supply that Ethereum has is unlimited and imagine if ETH entered the ETF market, there would be many people selling Ethereum like what happened with Grayscale which could make the price of Bitcoin collapse when a few days after the ETF accepts BTC.
ETF issue must impact on the price of Ethereum. We can see the current movement on Ethereum price, it will be higher if ETH can be in ETF market as well as BTC. Anyway, what total supply you refer to? If you mean the total supply of ETH, it is 120.101.802. You can easily check it in Coinmarketcap or Coingecko. It is wrong if you stated that ETH is unlimited supply.

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: Predict BTC price at Halving
« on: March 10, 2024, 11:31:53 PM »
It's true that the price of Bitcoin has finally reached a new ATH of $70k, but don't you think there's anything strange when you see the new ATH price after a long wait of around 4 years only at $70k? I see the price of Bitcoin every 4 - 5 years making a new ATH with a high distance that is quite far away, so it seems impossible if the price of Bitcoin just stops at $70k.
What is strange with the new ATH? Sure, it won't stop at $70k. It is just the beginning of the high pump of Bitcoin price. People predicted the price of Bitcoin will be above $100k. And I believe with the prediction because it is not so far from the current price. But I don't want to believe the prediction of people that Bitcoin will be above $150k. I think it is too high target for Bitcoin to be achieved for now.

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: Just HODL
« on: March 10, 2024, 11:27:24 PM »
Trading requires patience in learning many things. If we feel unable, it's best not to try. greed will make us lose a lot. Several friends advised me to only hold if I have no experience in trading.
It is a common thing, you need to be patient and serious when you learn something. Learning trading sometimes takes a lot of time and it will never stop until we become a professional trader. We must always improve our knowledge in trading to ensure we are capable to deal with the current situation in the market.

I think we can trade as well. We don't need to hold only.

What if I am not greedy, but have set a plan when I would sell? For example I have bought Bitcoin when the price was $10k. $70k is a solid price to sell. I would have even sold it at $50k. x5 is more than enough. But what if I dont need $, want to keep Bitcoin or my plan (even if it is ridiculous) is to sell it $1kk ? Should I change my plan and sell then? Of course no. In my situation, I would sell it whenever I feel I want to sell.
Sure. The target to take profits will totally depend on the individual. $70k is very good price to sell the Bitcoin if you bough under $20k in 2022. You already get very satisfying profits at $70k. But because it is very possible to reach $100k, it is okay if you want to continue holding the Bitcoin. You can change the plan if it is necessary, but it depends on the situation. But if it is not urgent, you can continue keep holding until $100k.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: ATH of bitcoin 2025 ??
« on: March 10, 2024, 11:15:45 PM »
With the existence of an ETF on Bitcoin, it is normal for demand on exchanges to increase, but currently Bitcoin price movements have weakened again and trading volume in Bitcoin has decreased by around 45%. To be honest, I am a little hesitant to reach the price of $ 100k because if there is no good news that can trigger whales to increase prices then it seems unlikely to reach that target.
When Bitcoin decreased 45%? Bitcoin already reached the new ATH, it is above $70k. And the current price is only around $69k. I think the drop in Bitcoin value is still rather small. In few days ago, it ever dropped to $59k but it can increase to $70k after the drop. I think the fast recovery indicates the price of Bitcoin easily increase again to higher price. I think $100k is reasonable to reach.

Having a target profit in trading is important, but a trader cannot have such a plan. In addition to this, it is also important that we do not lose control of our emotions because when this happens, it is for sure that instead of gaining profit, we will lose because of this matter.

because it helps a lot when we have proper control of our emotions we can't be without emotions when we do actual trades on a crypto exchange in this field.
It is a must to have a target for taking profits. It is impossible for someone to invest without a target. However, the target for taking profits won't guarantee anything. It the holder has no strong mentality, he/she can sell the coin before it reaches the target. That's why it is important to have good mentality as a holder or an investor as well.

Controlling emotion will be easy if we have knowledge and experience. We must ensure that we invest in crypto after we have sufficient knowledge and know the experience of successful people. This surely helps a lot for our investment.

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: Predict BTC price at Halving

yes we are seeing before having Bitcoin price create new ATH. I think bitcoin price will hit minimum $80k within Bitcoin halving. Now bitcoin price is near about $70k and we know more 38 days left to bitcoin halving. Withing this period Bitcoin price will up more and more and finally it will hit minimum $80k. Even it should be touch $100k. It will be very difficult but not impossible i think. Because we know previous halving history. Then also Bitcoin's price increased huge.
Yesterday, we saw it, Bitcoin reached a new ATH. It is for the first time that Bitcoin price can be above $70k. Honestly, I'm surprised to see it, I guess the ATH will be reached in the halving month (April). For the price $80k, it is no doubt to be reached as soon as possible. But we don't know when the exact time to see Bitcoin around $80k. Finally, it seems the price will cross $100k as you and all people dream.

Regarding KYC, we should not just share personal IDs, check their reputation. If the exchange is reputable, we provide KYC safely, but for new exchanges, it is best not to do KYC. This is very dangerous.
Although it is a very reputable exchange, it doesn't mean it is 100% safe to share our private data. Even if in Binance, I'm not if our data is guaranteed to share with them. However, sometimes we have no choice because there is too many limitation if we use the exchange without data verification. So, even if it is dangerous, we must follow the KYC procedure.

Grayscale Investments has launched the Grayscale Dynamic Income Fund (GDIF), which allows investors to earn staking rewards on nine cryptocurrencies: Aptos (APT), Celestia (TIA), Coinbase Staked Ethereum (CBETH), Cosmos (ATOM), Near (NEAR), Osmosis (OSMO), Polkadot (DOT), SEI Network (SEI), and Solana (SOL).
I only choose a few coins among those coins. DOT, SOL, APT, and TIA. Maybe I will consider ATOM and NEAR. But I won't buy the other coins such as OSMO, SEI, and CBETH. Although Grayscale has their big reasons for these coins, we also must have our own reasons to invest in some coins. For me, I will choose the coins with high market caps only.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Does supply matter to you?
« on: March 09, 2024, 11:43:58 PM »
In fact, a project enters the crypto market with a different token supply. So how important is more or less supply to you? What do you think if there is more supply the token price of the project may be lower. But you should know that a project becomes stronger with more supply and now there are many top altcoins that have more supply.
I think the developer of the project becomes the main factor for the success of the project. So, mostly I choose the coins/tokens because of the quality of the developers or teams. We know their quality from their track records, their plans to develop the projects, and the partnerships. The supply may have an impact but it is not very crucial as the quality of the developers or the teams. I see Dogecoin even has almost unlimited supply but it can be one of the top coins. So, the supply has no big effect here.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Don't buy bitcoin only because of FOMO
« on: March 07, 2024, 11:59:12 PM »
If we can't have accurate predictions and analysis, don't buy during FOMO, because it will happen so quickly. If we don't always unite the market and set targets, sales will get stuck there. do analysis and research, choose safe coins.
Agree. We don't buy because of FOMO. We must buy because we have a strong reason.
True, we must do deep research before we buy Bitcoin. Make sure we buy Bitcoin at the right time, don't buy when it already reaches the next ATH. For the options of crypto coins, just buy Bitcoin if you are not sure with other crypto coins. It is not a must to have as many as coins, have the best coin only.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: What do you think will be the future of Bitcoin?
« on: March 07, 2024, 11:56:58 PM »
It's true that no one can predict the future of bitcoin accurately, so I have confidence that bitcoin will still survive for the next 5-10 years.  Bitcoin will become more expensive during the bullish season.  And crypto will become more popular and more and more people will invest there.
If there is someone who can predict accurately, all people will rely on his prediction.  ;D
Sure, no one can predict it with exact result. Every prediction are from the technical analysis and fundamental analysis.
Although we do it deeply, there is no guarantee for the exact result. There is a chance to fail, but mostly it becomes true. Because when we analyze the potential price, we use complex research.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Profiting from BTC: just luck?
« on: March 07, 2024, 11:52:52 PM »
We are not gambling with Bitcoin, we invest in Bitcoin. When we are investing in Bitcoin, we must have good knowledge about it. To increase the chance to get profits with Bitcoin, we must do both technical and fundamental analysis. We need some research and analysis deeply through Bitcoin market and Bitcoin current issues. This is not needed if we only get profits because of the luck.
