I think many of us didn't take profits because we are so in the hype that time and we think that the next one will be $120k. Maybe some regrets their decision, but still if we look at the long term and be optimistic, we still might see what others have predicted, $150k or even higher. But it will take more time and so patience is the key. And being a Bitcoin investor, specially for those who have been in the market for so long, we have a lot of that in our arsenal,  ;D.

With BTC, we can't expect the surge in price to happen in a day, week, month, or even a year - it's about keeping things tight and not worrying too much about what may happen in a short term.

Mate, we are already in Q2 and half of the April month has also passed and i was expecting to see the market bullish at least in this month but now Trump has bothered the global market in the form of tariff war and he has almost shaken all the market, even it is crypto, stock or physical market, and this action of American government i think postponed the another new all time high of bitcoin in the Q3, maybe in September or October.

What do you think of it mate? must share you opinion on this and this above is also my point of view according to current market condition.

Tariff war was put on hold, so if everything will be good, investors should see the right opportunity to strike and fill up the market with funds.

We can't know when it will happen, but it should eventually go through because the momentum is on hold too - everybody awaits what to do next..

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Why are people so crazy about buying Bitcoin?
« on: April 16, 2025, 09:10:52 AM »
Currently everyone wants to buy Bitcoin. Is this the right time to buy Bitcoin?
When the price was low earlier, people did not buy Bitcoin, but today, when the price of Bitcoin increases due to the boom, people want to buy it and invest in it. That investment is profitable for them, so people go crazy to buy Bitcoin, invest in it, hold it and trade, Which gives them a good profit.

I think you should buy Bitcoin whenever you want without waiting for the right time. If you have money, you can buy Bitcoin with it and hold it for the short and long term. This will fill your fund with profits. If you wait for the specified time, you will not earn any money. When you invest without waiting for the specified time, you will be able to earn money. We should wait for time by investing. Because time will never be there for you. We should invest according to the ability we have. Then you can keep your capital and reach your destination.

Holding BTC for short term.. That is not needed if you want to see good results in the end.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: bear run, what to expect?
« on: April 15, 2025, 11:44:22 AM »
        -      Right now, although there is bearish momentum in bitcoin and even in other top altcoins, it is only for the short-term. In short, the market movement in bitcoin is still in a correction. Although we are still in the current bullish phase.

Now, the bear run, I think we are not really in that situation yet, we are still in a bull run and most people here probably know that when there is a bear run,
the price is mostly in a downtrend gradually.

There is no events that would propel the market forward - and that's okay, as long as we can continue to hodl and see the light of day by the end of it all. Our portfolios are reflection of what is happening, and we accumulate BTC even now, then we are doing everything correctly, in my opinion.

The current movement of bitcoin is indeed very difficult to predict and makes altcoins unable to follow its movement.
This results in altcoin still not being able to reach the best point that it should be able to do, even though bitcoin has done it.
Will Q3 or Q4 altcoin start to make very good movements so that it is not far behind the movement of bitcoin? It is still difficult to know and prove.

Many anticipate it for sure, but we only can look at the picture of the market as the spectators, whereas actors in question make their moves and affect the situation in ways we would never think about ourselves.

Whether or not we are going to pump, we need to keep accumulating our portfolios while the prices are good.

I pick ETH because it's still the crypto queen and hasn't had any impressive price surge this season, even though it's had many valuable upgrades for the L1 and L2 ecosystems. If altcoins are going to rally, then ETH will be the center of attention and capital flow in the market.

I don't understand why PI is here. I don't hate it, but I can't see any potential or opportunity for this token in the crypto market. It might be a memecoin with a community of tens of millions of members, but unfortunately, not all of them want to buy and hold PI.

I see SOL and ETH running for the core of the future alt rally.

Sure thing, there are lots of other smaller "contestants" on this race, but they are either not that utility-oriented, or a rug entirely. So.. Better stick to the basics!

Yeah, makes us wonder now if we should have taken profits back when it hit $109k. I guess the only thing we can do today is just to hold and then accumulate.

We really don't know if we will go back down to $50k base on what is happening in the US and around the world. But if that comes then that is the best opportunity again to buy cheap Bitcoin.
Mhm, I'm not looking to buy more BTC at 50K USD, because if that happens, altcoins will be hit so hard it'll be tough for them to recover this season. BTC itself would also struggle to attract funds, and the price could drop even further, maybe back to 30K USD during the crypto winter.

If BTC quickly reaches 109K USD again in Q2, I think investors will FOMO again and have even higher expectations, like BTC hitting 200K USD or at least 150K USD. With such strong momentum and good market sentiment, I'd choose to keep holding BTC until the market shows clear signs of being overbought.

For that, lots of confidence should be built layer on the layer, and then sprinkle it all up in a swift week or so.

For now, we are still waiting for the main events to unfold, in my opinion, but if everything goes alright and there will be no such events as we saw (like tariff wars), then maybe, investors will have their minds to move up with their liquidity.

I believe that with the quick rise that we have, ending Q4 2024 to Q1 2025 is so fast that it would be some time before it goes down in pricing and has some consolidation with the current market that we have. I think this is a healthy correction before we go back to the 6-digit mark again.

As it can be said - you can't have a new ATH without a proper Bull trap installed for everybody to think we are going to hit rock bottom soon ;D

Bitcoin Forum / Re: What could become of Bitcoin?
« on: April 14, 2025, 07:35:18 AM »
If a government barely has any cash for addressing emergency's such as natural disasters, epidemics, and war, then they probably should not be investing all that into Bitcoin and other cryotocurrencies.

The whole point of a strategic reserve is to hold the coins like an investment and profit off its gains.

Profit is at helm, as always - and especially with a person like Trump in the office, - with that, I can definitely agree.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: What do we need to do to get Bitcoin legalized??
« on: April 13, 2025, 07:31:55 PM »
There is nothing we can do to compel the government to legalise Bitcoin. They will realise it on their own and do the needful when they are willing to. We can see how the US and other countries are now incorporating Bitcoin into their economic decisions,  it wasn't like that years ago. Many of them actually knew what Bitcoin was but kept fighting it because they were yet to figure out a proper way to regulate it. Once any government figures out how to properly regulate Bitcoin, they will start considering it. But for now, there is really nothing we can do.

Many governments are still sceptical even though it's clear as day that BTC would be a great alternative on such a higher level too - big entities are still scared to consider it in many places, but many would follow up the examples we see today, here and now.
