We are still very much in the beta phase of D mod, but hopefully admin can iron things out over time.
I just wanted to let you know that I now have access to this icon.

And yeah, the ability to issue warnings to a user as well as the access to warning logs means that my Dmod response is accepted?

Admin is implementing faster than I can even pm users or update threads these days  :o

Congrats to Findingnemo and DYING_S0UL as our latest D mods. I've PM'd you both with mod guidelines and instructions to follow  :)

the graph will be complete in a month, when I have collected data for a month

I'm not sure whether this feature is already included in the tool or not but you should considerer a feature such as most active boards, the the bords you are frequent with. Things like that similar to ninjactic. This feature would greatly help evaluating a user or knowing what kind of user a certain user is!

There is already profile stats for boards users frequent: https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?action=profile;area=statistics;u=97750

But maybe you mean shown as a graph with timeframe etc.

Well, I have tried to give a warning to Amug123. I use the template available in the report column as you showed in the PM.

Perfect, thanks.

Now I see this warning in the list. Gave him the AI badge additionally. 👍

lillominato89 said it would be interesting to scrape the number of posts, what do you think? I can work on it if you think it's a useful statistic

I'd be interested, specifically in the differential between my public and non public posts, which is about half and half these days. My activity/post count has the real numbers I believe, while my lists of posts is the available content. I realise that's probably more than you were suggesting though  :)

It would mean others users could spy on us Presidents to see how busy we are in forum backrooms  ;)

Don't worries, my friend! There was no espionage mission planned :D
I simply thought that "Activity" referred to the number of posts written on the forum, but I was mistaken because the post count is actually shown elsewhere in the profile settings, not under the profile picture like on Bitcointalk. That misled me!
I suggested to Babo to include it in the statistics on his site to provide a broader and more complete overview! But definitely not to spy on the president, vice president, chief of staff, party members, or members of the clergy xD (sorry for the joke, I thought it was funny).
If you think it could violate the privacy of the moderators, we can discard my suggestion.

I didn't mean it in a bad way and the data is all public anyway. It'd (roughly) be the difference between post count and number of posts that are visible, as far as I understand.

I have no issues with this transparency as doesn't violate any privacy. It'd be interesting to see how active some presidents are, beyond the public facing side of the forum that is.

There are also times when I rarely post in public sections, but remain active, so it'd signal to others that I'm actually still quietly active helping to improve the forum  :)

I assume 555 counts as a nice record?

I'll try contribute some more profiles when I see them, though it's not easy finding round numbers or otherwise.

Catching users using AI to generate posts

User: Amug123 + Post History

The user received the first 20% warning and is now added to my watchlist.

This user still hasn't received warning nor badge. I think there was some misunderstanding here, I was giving instructions to enwi, but did not apply anything.

@enwi could you send a warning as described below for final testing? You are otherwise free to send warnings as applicable from now on...

User deserves +20% warning issued with AI plagiarism template by looks of it, if you can do that? If you return to ome.of.their post after refreshing it should appear with "Watched" as confirmation for now that warning sent correctly. Reference AI bot as reason. Someone else can then do badges  :)

@Freemind/Jokers could you please both hold fire on taking action until warning sent, for further testing purposes, thank you.

Thank you for choosing me in the first implementation test, This is something very new and an honor for me, There is still a lot of knowledge here that must be understood well.

And thanks for being the guinea pig in this trial  ;D

$100,019.57   to      $109,109.10

I own this entire slot

no one has a number in-between it.

Now if we could just spike like a mofo today I win.

I need like a 5000 dollar 1 day candle.

Well played, I also went for a gap rather than much else  ;D

Not many predictions in the 90s and not far off mine at present, but I suspect a bigger move is coming before end of month at this rate towards 100k, so you might be quids in here tbf.

Have discussed with admin, they will receive the custom title of the category they won, ie "Forum Hero", "Altcoinstalks Ninja", etc. It'll appear where "Presidential assistant" appears on my profile for example. I did suggest membergroups with badges, but it's not worth it to have such groups for one member, so custom title is preferred by admin. You reminded me to remind admin about this, thanks.
This is cool, but it could be to crowded with lot of text stuffed for some members who already have additional titles in their profiles.
For example you already have titles Presidential assistant and Legendary, than there is Teleported and other subtitles.

I think you're confusing custom titles with membergroup, none if which use custom titles as the two are not connected in this way. President & VP uses a default title, which is again separate, likewise with the bad ranks etc.

Most people seem to appreciate the uniqueness to the forum that badges provide, and I believe the same would be true of recognising community award winners with custom titles, similar to how myself & hair have been given this privilege as ex Presidents for our service to the forum, even if in a different way ie customizable.

Maybe one day ill get another default title assigned again and end up with three titles/ranks 🙃

Edit for admins sake: am not opposed to default titles either, but assume you wouldn't do this as would involve many membergroups etc.

Congrats to enwi on becoming our first D mod. We are currently still testing implementation and this is our first promotion to the role so far, with more candidates expected for approval in the near future.

Unlike applying for Jnr Mod, the bar is set a lot higher for D mods and involves full reporting/moderating review, a challenging "no softballs" interview, scrutiny from Presidents Committee, and ultimately approval or rejection from President Freemind. We are also still awaiting further technical implementations, such as membergroup/badges/etc, but as of now D mods can now issue warnings as intended :)

Please don't bother asking whether it'll be a separate membergroup, different badge, or otherwise, as that is all a work in progress with admin at the moment. What will be implemented for now will likely be the most simple and stable option, at least until more of the technicals can be figured out (which is the most important part, ie access to mod log, center, and section, etc). Otherwise (before someone asks) yes I will update the OP with new list of D mods once we have processed the remaining candidates.

We are not currently taking any new applications for the role, hence the D mod topic remains closed for now. If as a candidate you have not received approval or rejection confirmation, it's because we are still processing your application, so please remain patient. You will be contacted in due course, thank you.
